ଯିଶାଇୟ 13
1 ବାବିଲ ବିଷୟକ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା, ଆମୋସର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିଶାଇୟ ଏହି ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇଲେ।
The doom of Babylon, which Isaiah Amoz' son foresaw.
2 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବୃକ୍ଷଶୂନ୍ୟ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ଧ୍ୱଜା ଟେକ, ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ରବ ଉଠାଅ, ହସ୍ତ ହଲାଅ, ସେମାନେ ଅଧିପତିମାନଙ୍କର ନଗର-ଦ୍ୱାରରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରନ୍ତୁ।
Upon a high mountain lift ye up a banner, raise high your voice unto them, wave the hand, that they may enter into the gates of the princes.
3 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପବିତ୍ର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଦେଶ କରିଅଛୁ, ହଁ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା କ୍ରୋଧ ସଫଳାର୍ଥେ ଆମ୍ଭର ବୀରମାନଙ୍କୁ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଆମ୍ଭର ଦର୍ପିତ ଉଲ୍ଲାସକାରୀଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଆହ୍ୱାନ କରିଅଛୁ।
I have charged my prepared ones, I have also called my heroes for my anger, those that rejoice in my highness.
4 ପର୍ବତମାନରେ ମହାଜନତାର ନ୍ୟାୟ ଲୋକସମୂହର ରବ ହେଉଅଛି! ଏକତ୍ରୀକୃତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟସମୂହର କଳରବ ହେଉଅଛି! ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୁଦ୍ଧାର୍ଥେ ସେନା ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି।
There is a noise of tumult on the mountains, like that of a numerous people; a noise of shouting of kingdoms of nations assembled; the Lord of hosts mustereth a host of battle.
5 ସେମାନେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ କ୍ରୋଧରୂପ ଅସ୍ତ୍ରସବୁ ସମୁଦାୟ ଦେଶ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦୂର ଦେଶରୁ, ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳର ପ୍ରାନ୍ତଭାଗରୁ ଆସୁଅଛନ୍ତି।
They are coming from a far-off country, from the end of the heavens, [here is] the Lord, with the weapons of his indignation, to destroy all the land.
6 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ହାହାକାର କର; କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଦିନ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ; ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ପ୍ରଳୟର ନ୍ୟାୟ ତାହା ଆସିବ।
Wail ye; for nigh is the day of the Lord; like wasting from the Almighty shall it come.
7 ଏହେତୁ ସକଳ ହସ୍ତ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ହେବ ଓ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ମାନବ ହୃଦୟ ତରଳି ଯିବ;
Therefore all hands shall become weak, and every mortal's heart shall melt;
8 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଭୟଭୀତ ହେବେ; ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଓ ବେଦନା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରିବ; ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରସବକାରିଣୀ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ବେଦନାଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ହେବେ; ସେମାନେ ପରସ୍ପରର ବିଷୟରେ ଚମତ୍କୃତ ହେବେ; ସେମାନଙ୍କର ମୁଖ ଅଗ୍ନିଶିଖା ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେବ।
And they shall be affrighted, pangs and pains shall seize on them; they shall have throes as a woman that travaileth; one at the other shall they look amazed; red like flames shall their faces glow.
9 ଦେଖ, ଦେଶ ଧ୍ୱଂସ କରିବାକୁ ଓ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ପାପୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିନାଶ କରିବାକୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଦିନ ଭୟଙ୍କର; କ୍ରୋଧ ଓ ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡ କ୍ରୋଧ ସଂଯୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇ ଆସୁଅଛି।
Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, direful, [laden] with wrath and the fierceness of anger, to render the earth desolate: and its sinners will he destroy out of it.
10 କାରଣ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳର ତାରାଗଣ ଓ ତହିଁର ନକ୍ଷତ୍ରଗଣ ଦୀପ୍ତି ଦେବେ ନାହିଁ; ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଆପଣା ଉଦୟ ସମୟରେ ଅନ୍ଧାରଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ହେବ ଓ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ଆପଣା ଜ୍ୟୋତ୍ସ୍ନା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
For the stars of the heavens and their constellations shall not give forth their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not shed abroad her light.
11 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜଗତକୁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟତା ସକାଶେ ଓ ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅଧର୍ମ ସକାଶେ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦେବା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅହଙ୍କାରୀମାନଙ୍କର ଦର୍ପ ନିବୃତ୍ତ କରାଇବା ଓ ଭୟଙ୍କର ଲୋକର ଗର୍ବ ଖର୍ବ କରିବା।
And I will visit on the world its evil, and on the wicked their iniquity; and I will stop the arrogance of the presumptuous, and the haughtiness of the tyrants will I humble.
12 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଉତ୍ତମ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ମର୍ତ୍ତ୍ୟକୁ ଓ ଓଫୀରର ଶୁଦ୍ଧ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ ଅଳ୍ପ କରିବା।
I will make the mortal more precious than fine gold; and man, more than the valued metal of Ophir.
13 ଏହେତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳକୁ କମ୍ପାନ୍ୱିତ କରିବା, ଆଉ ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ କୋପରେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡ କ୍ରୋଧର ଦିନରେ ପୃଥିବୀ ଟଳି ସ୍ୱସ୍ଥାନ ଚ୍ୟୁତ ହେବ।
Therefore will I shake the heavens, and the earth shall start quaking out of her place, at the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and on the day of his fierce anger.
14 ତହିଁରେ ଏପରି ଘଟିବ ଯେ, ତାଡ଼ିତ ହରିଣର ନ୍ୟାୟ ଓ ଅରକ୍ଷକ ମେଷ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ପ୍ରତି ଫେରିବେ ଓ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଦେଶ ଆଡ଼କୁ ପଳାୟନ କରିବେ।
And the people shall be as the chased roe, and as flocks which no one gathereth up; every man to his own people shall they turn, and every man into his own land shall they flee.
15 ଯେକୌଣସି ଲୋକର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ମିଳିବ, ତାହାକୁ ଅସ୍ତ୍ରବିଦ୍ଧ ହେବ ଓ ଯେକୌଣସି ଲୋକକୁ ଧରାଯିବ, ସେ ଖଡ୍ଗରେ ପତିତ ହେବ।
Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.
16 ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଶିଶୁଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିଗୋଚରରେ କଚଡ଼ା ଯିବେ; ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗୃହ ଲୁଟିତ ହେବ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟାମାନେ ବଳାତ୍କାରରେ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟ କରାଯିବେ।
And their babes shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes: spoiled shall be their houses, and their wives ravished.
17 ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ମାଦୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତେଜିତ କରିବା, ସେମାନେ ରୂପାକୁ ଅନାଇବେ ନାହିଁ ଓ ସୁନାରେ ସେମାନେ ତୁଷ୍ଟ ହେବେ ନାହିଁ।
Behold, I will stir up against them the Medes; who will not regard silver, and who will not delight in gold.
18 ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଧନୁ ଯୁବକମାନଙ୍କୁ କଚାଡ଼ି ପକାଇବ ଓ ସେମାନେ ଗର୍ଭର ଫଳ ପ୍ରତି କିଛି ଦୟା କରିବେ ନାହିଁ, ବାଳକଗଣ ପ୍ରତି ସେମାନଙ୍କର କୃପାଦୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବ ନାହିଁ।
And their bows will dash young men to pieces; and on the fruit of the womb will they have no mercy; on children their eye will not look with pity.
19 ପୁଣି, ରାଜ୍ୟସମୂହର ଗୌରବ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଓ କଲ୍ଦୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଦର୍ପର ଲାବଣ୍ୟ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଯେ ବାବିଲ, ତାହା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଉତ୍ପାଟିତ ସଦୋମ ଓ ହମୋରାର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେବ।
And [thus] shall Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the proud ornament of the Chaldeans, become like the overthrow through God of Sodom and Gomorrah.
20 ତାହା କଦାପି ବସତି ସ୍ଥାନ ହେବ ନାହିଁ, ପୁରୁଷ ପୁରୁଷାନୁକ୍ରମେ କେହି ତହିଁରେ ବାସ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ; ଆରବୀୟ ଲୋକେ ସେଠାରେ ତମ୍ବୁ ପକାଇବେ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ମେଷପାଳକମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପଲ ସେଠାରେ ଶୁଆଇବେ ନାହିଁ।
It shall not be inhabited for ever, and it shall not be dwelt in from generation to generation; nor shall the Arabian pitch there his tent; and shepherds shall not let their flocks rest there.
21 ମାତ୍ର ବନ୍ୟ ପଶୁମାନେ ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଶୟନ କରିବେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗୃହ ଚିତ୍କାରକାରୀ ଜନ୍ତୁରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେବ; ଓଟପକ୍ଷୀ ସେଠାରେ ବାସ କରିବେ ଓ ଛାଗମାନେ ସେଠାରେ ନୃତ୍ୟ କରିବେ।
But there shall rest the wild beasts of the desert; and their houses shall be full of owls; and ostriches shall dwell there, and evil spirits shall dance there.
22 ପୁଣି, କେନ୍ଦୁଆମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅଟ୍ଟାଳିକାରେ ଓ ଶୃଗାଳମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମନୋରମ ପ୍ରାସାଦରେ ବୋବାଇବେ; ତାହାର କାଳ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଓ ତାହାର ଦିନସବୁ ଦୀର୍ଘ ହେବ ନାହିଁ।
And jackals shall howl in her palaces, and monsters in the temples of pleasure; and near to come is her time, and her days shall not be extended.
