ହୋଶେୟ 7

1 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଇଫ୍ରୟିମର ଅଧର୍ମ ଓ ଶମରୀୟାର ଦୁଷ୍ଟତା ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହୁଅଇ; କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଅସତ୍ୟତାର ବ୍ୟବହାର କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଚୋର ଭିତରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରେ, ଆଉ ଡକାୟତ ଦଳ ବାହାରେ ଲୁଟ କରନ୍ତି।

When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, [and] the troop of robbers spoileth without.

2 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ଦୁଷ୍ଟତା ସ୍ମରଣ କରୁ, ଏହା ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣରେ ବିବେଚନା କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; ଏବେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ନିଜ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟସବୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘେରିଅଛି; ସେହି ସବୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଅଛି।

And they consider not in their hearts [that] I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.

3 ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ଦୁଷ୍ଟତା ଦ୍ୱାରା ରାଜାକୁ ଓ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ମିଥ୍ୟା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଅଧିପତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ କରନ୍ତି।

They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.

4 ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାରୀ; ସେମାନେ ରୁଟି ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତକାରୀ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଉତ୍ତପ୍ତ ତନ୍ଦୁର ସ୍ୱରୂପ; ମଇଦା ଦଳିବା ସମୟଠାରୁ ତହିଁରେ ତାଡ଼ି ମିଶ୍ରିତ ନ ହେବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସେ ଅଗ୍ନି ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ କରିବାରୁ ନିବୃତ୍ତ ହୁଏ।

They [are] all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, [who] ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be leavened.

5 ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ଦିନରେ ଅଧିପତିମାନେ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସର ଉତ୍ତାପରେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପୀଡ଼ିତ କଲେ; ସେ ନିନ୍ଦକମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବଢ଼ାଇଲା।

In the day of our king the princes have made [him] sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.

6 କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଛକି ବସି ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ତନ୍ଦୁର ପରି ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନଙ୍କର କ୍ରୋଧ ରାତ୍ରିସାରା କୁହୁଳୁ ଥାଏ; ପ୍ରାତଃକାଳରେ ତାହା ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ଅଗ୍ନି ପରି ଜ୍ୱଳଇ।

For they have made ready their heart like an oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire.

7 ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ତନ୍ଦୁର ପରି ଉତ୍ତପ୍ତ ଅଟନ୍ତି ଓ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତୃଗଣକୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରନ୍ତି; ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ରାଜାଗଣ ପତିତ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କେହି ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।

They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: [there is] none among them that calleth unto me.

8 ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଇଫ୍ରୟିମ ଆପେ ମିଶ୍ରିତ ହୁଅଇ; ଇଫ୍ରୟିମ ଓଲଟା ହୋଇ ନ ଥିବା ପିଠା ତୁଲ୍ୟ।

Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.

9 ବିଦେଶୀମାନେ ତାହାର ବଳ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ସେ ତାହା ଜାଣେ ନାହିଁ; ହଁ, ତାହାର ମସ୍ତକରେ, ଏଠାରେ ସେଠାରେ ପକ୍ୱକେଶ ଅଛି, ମାତ୍ର ସେ ତାହା ଜାଣେ ନାହିଁ।

Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth [it] not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.

10 ପୁଣି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଦର୍ପ ତାହାର ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦିଏ; ତଥାପି ସେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଫେରି ନାହାନ୍ତି, କିଅବା ଏହିସବୁ ଘଟିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ଵେଷଣ କରି ନାହାନ୍ତି।

And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.

11 ପୁଣି, ଇଫ୍ରୟିମ ଅବୋଧ କପୋତର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ବୁଦ୍ଧିହୀନ; ସେମାନେ ମିସରକୁ ନିବେଦନ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଅଶୂରକୁ ଯାଆନ୍ତି।

Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.

12 ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେମାନେ ଯିବେ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଆପଣା ଜାଲ ପ୍ରସାର କରିବା; ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆକାଶର ପକ୍ଷୀଗଣ ପରି ତଳକୁ ଆଣିବା; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସମାଜ ଯେପରି ଶୁଣିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେହିପରି ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦେବା।

When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.

13 ସେମାନେ ସନ୍ତାପର ପାତ୍ର! କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରୁ ବିପଥଗାମୀ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସର୍ବନାଶ ଘଟିବ; କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଅପରାଧ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ମିଥ୍ୟା କଥା କହିଅଛନ୍ତି।

Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.

14 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ସହିତ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କରି ନାହାନ୍ତି; ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଶଯ୍ୟାରେ ହାହାକାର କରନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ଶସ୍ୟ ଓ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ର କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ବିଦ୍ରୋହାଚରଣ କରନ୍ତି।

And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, [and] they rebel against me.

15 ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବାହୁକୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେଇ ସବଳ କଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କୁକଳ୍ପନା କରନ୍ତି।

Though I have bound [and] strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.

16 ସେମାନେ ଫେରି ଆସନ୍ତି ସତ୍ୟ, ମାତ୍ର ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱସ୍ଥଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ନୁହେଁ; ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚକ ଧନୁ ତୁଲ୍ୟ; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅଧିପତିମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଜିହ୍ୱାର ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡତା ସକାଶୁ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପତିତ ହେବେ; ଏହା ମିସର ଦେଶରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଉପହାସର ବିଷୟ ହେବ।

They return, [but] not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this [shall be] their derision in the land of Egypt.
