ହୋଶେୟ 1
1 ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜାଗଣ ଉଷୀୟ, ଯୋଥମ୍, ଆହସ୍ ଓ ହିଜକୀୟର ରାଜତ୍ୱ ସମୟରେ ଯୋୟାଶ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ଯାରବୀୟାମର ସମୟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ବେରିଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ହୋଶେୟଙ୍କର ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା।
The word of the Lord which came to Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam, the son of Joash, king of Israel.
2 ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପ୍ରଥମରେ ହୋଶେୟଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା କଥା କହିଲେ, ସେହି ସମୟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ହୋଶେୟଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାଇ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାରିଣୀ ଏକ ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟାକୁ ଓ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାରରୁ ଜାତ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କର; କାରଣ ଏହି ଦେଶ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ମହା ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କରିଅଛି।”
The start of the word of the Lord by Hosea: And the Lord said to Hosea, Go, take for yourself a wife of loose ways, and children of the same, for the land has been untrue to the Lord.
3 ତହିଁରେ ସେ ଯାଇ ଦିବ୍ଲାଇମର କନ୍ୟା ଗୋମରକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲା ଓ ସେ ଗର୍ଭବତୀ ହୋଇ ତାହାର ଏକ ପୁତ୍ର ପ୍ରସବ କଲା।
So he took as his wife Gomer, the daughter of Diblaim, and she gave birth to a son.
4 ତହୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ନାମ ଯିଷ୍ରିୟେଲ ରଖ; କାରଣ ଅଳ୍ପ ସମୟ ପରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେହୂର ବଂଶକୁ ଯିଷ୍ରିୟେଲର ରକ୍ତପାତର ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଭୋଗ କରାଇବା ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶର ରାଜ୍ୟ ଶେଷ କରାଇବା।
And the Lord said to him, Give him the name of Jezreel, for after a little time I will send punishment for the blood of Jezreel on the line of Jehu, and put an end to the kingdom of Israel.
5 ପୁଣି, ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯିଷ୍ରିୟେଲର ଉପତ୍ୟକାରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଧନୁ ଭଗ୍ନ କରିବା।”
And in that day I will let the bow of Israel be broken in the valley of Jezreel.
6 ଆଉ, ଗୋମର ପୁନର୍ବାର ଗର୍ଭଧାରଣ କରି ଏକ କନ୍ୟା ପ୍ରସବ କଲା। ଆଉ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ନାମ ଲୋ-ରୁହାମା ରଖ; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରକାରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶକୁ କ୍ଷମା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଆଉ ଦୟା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବା ନାହିଁ।
And after that she gave birth to a daughter. And the Lord said, Give her the name Lo-ruhamah; for I will not again have mercy on Israel, to give them forgiveness.
7 ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯିହୁଦା ବଂଶ ପ୍ରତି ଦୟା କରିବା ଓ ଧନୁ, ଖଡ୍ଗ, ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କି ଅଶ୍ୱଗଣ କିଅବା ଅଶ୍ୱାରୋହୀଗଣ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ନ କରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା।”
But I will have mercy on Judah and will give them salvation by the Lord their God, but not by the bow or the sword or by fighting or by horses or horsemen.
8 ସେହି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲୋ-ରୁହାମାକୁ ସ୍ତନ୍ୟପାନ ତ୍ୟାଗ କରାଇଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଗର୍ଭଧାରଣ କରି ଏକ ପୁତ୍ର ପ୍ରସବ କଲା।
Now when Lo-ruhamah had been taken from the breast, the woman gave birth to a son.
9 ତହିଁରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ନାମ ଲୋ-ଆମୀ (ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକ ନୁହେଁ) ରଖ; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକ ନୁହଁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ହେବା ନାହିଁ।”
And the Lord said, Give him the name Lo-ammi; for you are not my people, and I will not be your God.
10 ତଥାପି ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ସଂଖ୍ୟା ସମୁଦ୍ରର ବାଲୁକା ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଅପରିମେୟ ଓ ଅସଂଖ୍ୟ ହେବ; ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥଳରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକ ନୁହଁ” ବୋଲି କୁହାଯାଇଥିଲା, ସେହି ସ୍ଥଳରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହାଯିବ ଯେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜୀବିତ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଅଟ।”
But still the number of the children of Israel will be like the sand of the sea, which may not be measured or numbered; and in place of its being said to them, You are not my people, it will be said to them, You are the sons of the living God
11 ଆଉ, ଯିହୁଦାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଏକତ୍ର ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରାଯିବେ ଓ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଏକ ଜଣକୁ ପ୍ରଧାନ ରୂପେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରି ଦେଶରୁ ଯାତ୍ରା କରିବେ; କାରଣ ଯିଷ୍ରିୟେଲର ଦିନ ମହତ୍ ଦିନ ହେବ।
And the children of Israel and the children of Judah will come together and take for themselves one head, and will go up from the land, for great will be the day of Jezreel.
