ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଲିଖିତ ପ୍ରଥମ ପୁସ୍ତକ 46
1 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଆପଣା ସର୍ବସ୍ୱ ଘେନି ଯାତ୍ରା କଲେ, ପୁଣି, ବେର୍ଶେବାରେ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ସେଠାରେ ଆପଣା ପିତା ଇସ୍ହାକଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ବଳିଦାନ କଲେ।
And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beer-sheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.
2 ତହିଁରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲଙ୍କୁ ରାତିରେ ଦର୍ଶନ ଦେଇ କହିଲେ, “ହେ ଯାକୁବ, ହେ ଯାକୁବ।” ତହିଁରେ ସେ ଉତ୍ତର କଲେ, “ଦେଖନ୍ତୁ, ମୁଁ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଅଛି।”
And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here [am] I.
3 ସେତେବେଳେ ସେ କହିଲେ, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତାଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମିସରକୁ ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ; ଯେହେତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେଠାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଏକ ବୃହତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ କରିବା।
And he said, I [am] God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:
4 ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ମିସର ଦେଶକୁ ଯିବା; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେଠାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ବାହୁଡ଼ାଇ ଆଣିବା, ପୁଣି, ଯୋଷେଫ ନିଜ ହସ୍ତରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ମୁଦ୍ରିତ କରିବ।”
I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up [again: ] and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.
5 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯାକୁବ ବେର୍ଶେବାଠାରୁ ଯାତ୍ରା କଲେ; ପୁଣି, ତାଙ୍କୁ ନେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଫାରୋ ଯେଉଁ ଶଗଡ଼ ପଠାଇଥିଲେ, ତହିଁରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପିତା ଯାକୁବଙ୍କୁ ଓ ବାଳକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟାମାନଙ୍କୁ ନେଇଗଲେ।
And Jacob rose up from Beer-sheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.
6 ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେମାନେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଯାକୁବ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସମସ୍ତ ବଂଶ, ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପଶୁଗଣ ଓ କିଣାନ ଦେଶରେ ଉପାର୍ଜ୍ଜିତ ସମସ୍ତ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଘେନି ମିସର ଦେଶରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଲେ।
And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with him:
7 ଏହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ଯାକୁବ ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ରପୌତ୍ର, ପୁତ୍ରୀ ଓ ପୌତ୍ରୀ ସମସ୍ତ ପରିବାର ନେଇ ମିସର ଦେଶକୁ ଗଲେ।
His sons, and his sons’ sons with him, his daughters, and his sons’ daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Egypt.
8 ମିସର ଦେଶକୁ ଆଗତ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଯାକୁବ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କର ନାମ। ଯାକୁବଙ୍କର ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠ ପୁତ୍ର ରୁବେନ୍।
And these [are] the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn.
9 ରୁବେନ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର ହନୋକ, ପଲ୍ଲୁ, ହିଷ୍ରୋଣ ଓ କର୍ମି।
And the sons of Reuben; Hanoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.
10 ଶିମୀୟୋନର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିମୂୟେଲ, ଯାମୀନ୍, ଓହଦ୍, ଯାଖୀନ୍ ଓ ସୋହର ଓ ତାହାର କିଣାନୀୟା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଠାରୁ ଜାତ ପୁତ୍ର ଶୌଲ।
And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman.
11 ଲେବୀର ପୁତ୍ର ଗେର୍ଶୋନ, କହାତ ଓ ମରାରି।
And the sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
12 ଯିହୁଦାର ପୁତ୍ର ଏର, ଓନନ୍, ଶେଲା, ପେରସ ଓ ସେରହ; ମାତ୍ର ଏର ଓ ଓନନ୍ କିଣାନ ଦେଶରେ ମରିଥିଲେ। ପେରସର ପୁତ୍ର ହିଷ୍ରୋଣ ଓ ହାମୂଲ।
And the sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Pharez, and Zerah: but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. And the sons of Pharez were Hezron and Hamul.
13 ଇଷାଖରର ସନ୍ତାନ ତୋଲୟ, ପୂୟ, ଯୋବ ଓ ଶିମ୍ରୋଣ।
And the sons of Issachar; Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron.
14 ସବୂଲୂନର ପୁତ୍ର ସେରଦ, ଏଲୋନ୍ ଓ ଯହଲେଲ।
And the sons of Zebulun; Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel.
15 ଏମାନେ ଓ କନ୍ୟା ଦୀଣା ପଦ୍ଦନ୍ ଅରାମରେ ଯାକୁବଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଜାତ ଲେୟାର ସନ୍ତାନ। ଏମାନେ ପୁତ୍ର କନ୍ୟାରେ ତେତିଶ ପ୍ରାଣୀ ଥିଲେ।
These [be] the sons of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob in Padan-aram, with his daughter Dinah: all the souls of his sons and his daughters [were] thirty and three.
16 ଗାଦ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର ସିଫୋନ୍, ହଗି, ଶୂନୀ, ଇଷବୋନ୍, ଏରି, ଅରୋଦି ଓ ଅରେଲୀ।
And the sons of Gad; Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.
17 ଆଶେରର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିମ୍ନା, ଯିଶ୍ବା, ଯିଶ୍ବି, ବରୀୟ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଭଗିନୀ ସେରହ। ପୁଣି, ବରୀୟର ପୁତ୍ର ହେବର ଓ ମଲ୍କୀୟେଲ।
And the sons of Asher; Jimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and Serah their sister: and the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel.
18 ଲାବନ ଆପଣା କନ୍ୟା ଲେୟାକୁ ସିଳ୍ପା ନାମ୍ନୀ ଯେଉଁ ଦାସୀ ଦେଇଥିଲା, ସେ ଯାକୁବଙ୍କର ଏହି ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରସବ କରିଥିଲା। ଏମାନେ ଷୋହଳ ଜଣ।
These [are] the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and these she bare unto Jacob, [even] sixteen souls.
19 ପୁଣି, ଯାକୁବଙ୍କ ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା ରାହେଲର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋଷେଫ ଓ ବିନ୍ୟାମୀନ୍।
The sons of Rachel Jacob’s wife; Joseph, and Benjamin.
20 ଯୋଷେଫଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ମନଃଶି ଓ ଇଫ୍ରୟିମ ମିସର ଦେଶରେ ଜନ୍ମିଥିଲେ; ଓନ୍ ନଗରସ୍ଥ ପୋଟୀଫେର ଯାଜକର ଆସନତ୍ ନାମ୍ନୀ କନ୍ୟା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରସବ କରିଥିଲା।
And unto Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim, which Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On bare unto him.
21 ପୁଣି, ବିନ୍ୟାମୀନ୍ର ସନ୍ତାନ ବେଲା, ବେଖର, ଅସ୍ବେଲ, ଗେରା, ନାମାନ୍, ଏହୀ, ରୋଶ, ମୁପ୍ପୀମ, ହୁପ୍ପୀମ୍ ଓ ଅର୍ଦ।
And the sons of Benjamin [were] Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.
22 ଏହି ଚଉଦ ଜଣ ଯାକୁବଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଜାତ ରାହେଲର ସନ୍ତାନ।
These [are] the sons of Rachel, which were born to Jacob: all the souls [were] fourteen.
23 ଆଉ ଦାନ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର ହୂଶୀମ୍।
And the sons of Dan; Hushim.
24 ନପ୍ତାଲିର ପୁତ୍ର ଯହସୀୟେଲ, ଗୂନି, ଯେତ୍ସର ଓ ଶିଲ୍ଲେମ।
And the sons of Naphtali; Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.
25 ଲାବନ ଆପଣା କନ୍ୟା ରାହେଲକୁ ବିଲ୍ହା ନାମ୍ନୀ ଯେଉଁ ଦାସୀ ଦେଇଥିଲା, ସେ ଯାକୁବଙ୍କର ଏହି ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରସବ କରିଥିଲା; ଏମାନେ ସର୍ବସୁଦ୍ଧା ସାତ ଜଣ।
These [are] the sons of Bilhah, which Laban gave unto Rachel his daughter, and she bare these unto Jacob: all the souls [were] seven.
26 ଯାକୁବଙ୍କ କଟିରୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରାଣୀଗଣ ତାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ମିସରରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ, ଯାକୁବଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରବଧୂମାନଙ୍କ ଛଡ଼ା ସେମାନେ ସର୍ବସୁଦ୍ଧା ଛଅଷଠି ପ୍ରାଣୀ ଥିଲେ।
All the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, which came out of his loins, besides Jacob’s sons’ wives, all the souls [were] threescore and six;
27 ମିସରରେ ଯୋଷେଫଙ୍କର ଯେଉଁ ପୁତ୍ର ଜାତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ଦୁଇ ପ୍ରାଣୀ। ମିସରକୁ ଆଗତ ଯାକୁବଙ୍କର ପରିଜନ ସର୍ବସୁଦ୍ଧା ସତୁରି ଜଣ ଥିଲେ।
And the sons of Joseph, which were born him in Egypt, [were] two souls: all the souls of the house of Jacob, which came into Egypt, [were] threescore and ten.
28 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯୋଷେଫ ଗୋଶନ ପ୍ରଦେଶକୁ ଯିବାର ପଥ ଯେପରି ଦେଖାଇବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଯାକୁବ ଆପଣା ଆଗେ ଯିହୁଦାକୁ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ; ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେମାନେ ଗୋଶନ ପ୍ରଦେଶରେ ଉତ୍ତରିଲେ।
And he sent Judah before him unto Joseph, to direct his face unto Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.
29 ତହୁଁ ଯୋଷେଫ ଆପଣା ପିତା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ରଥ ସଜାଇ ଗୋଶନ ପ୍ରଦେଶକୁ ଗମନ କଲେ; ପୁଣି, ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖା ଦେଇ ତାଙ୍କ ଗଳା ଧରି ବହୁତ ସମୟ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରୋଦନ କଲେ।
And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel his father, to Goshen, and presented himself unto him; and he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.
30 ସେତେବେଳେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଯୋଷେଫଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଏବେ ମୋହର ମରଣ ହେଉ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମୁଖ ଦେଖିଲି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତ ଆଜି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବଞ୍ଚିଅଛ।”
And Israel said unto Joseph, Now let me die, since I have seen thy face, because thou [art] yet alive.
31 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯୋଷେଫ ଆପଣା ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ପିତୃପରିବାରକୁ କହିଲେ, “ମୁଁ ଯାଇ ଫାରୋଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ବାଦ ଦେଇ କହିବି, ‘କିଣାନ ଦେଶରୁ ମୋହର ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ଓ ପିତୃପରିବାର ମୋʼ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଅଛନ୍ତି।
And Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father’s house, I will go up, and shew Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father’s house, which [were] in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;
32 ସେମାନେ ପଶୁପାଳକ ଓ ପଶୁ ବ୍ୟବସାୟୀ, ଏଣୁ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଗୋମେଷାଦି ପଲ ପ୍ରଭୃତି ସର୍ବସ୍ୱ ଆଣିଅଛନ୍ତି।’
And the men [are] shepherds, for their trade hath been to feed cattle; and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have.
33 ତହିଁରେ ଫାରୋ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡକାଇ ‘ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର କେଉଁ ବ୍ୟବସାୟ?’ ଏ କଥା ଯେତେବେଳେ ପଚାରିବେ,
And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What [is] your occupation?
34 ସେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କହିବ, ‘ଆପଣଙ୍କର ଏହି ଦାସମାନେ ବାଲ୍ୟାବଧି ଏପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷାନୁକ୍ରମେ ପଶୁ ବ୍ୟବସାୟୀ;’ ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଗୋଶନ ପ୍ରଦେଶରେ ବାସ କରି ପାରିବ; କାରଣ ପଶୁପାଳକମାନେ ମିସରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଅଟନ୍ତି।”
That ye shall say, Thy servants’ trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, [and] also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd [is] an abomination unto the Egyptians.
