ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଲିଖିତ ପ୍ରଥମ ପୁସ୍ତକ 40
1 ଏହିସବୁ ଘଟଣା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ମିସରୀୟ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ପାନପାତ୍ରବାହକ ଓ ସୂପକାର ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଭୁ ମିସରୀୟ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଅପରାଧ କଲେ।
Whanne these thingis weren doon so, it bifelde that twei geldyngis, the boteler and the baker `of the kyng of Egipt, synneden to her lord.
2 ତହିଁରେ ଫାରୋ ଆପଣାର ପ୍ରଧାନ ପାନପାତ୍ରବାହକ ଓ ପ୍ରଧାନ ସୂପକାର ଏହି ଦୁଇ ଭୃତ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତି କ୍ରୁଦ୍ଧ ହେଲେ,
And Farao was wrooth ayens hem, for the toon was `souereyn to boteleris, the tother was `souereyn to bakeris.
3 ଆଉ ରକ୍ଷକ ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତିର ଯେଉଁ ବନ୍ଦୀଗୃହରେ ଯୋଷେଫ ବନ୍ଦୀ ଥିଲେ, ସେଠାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ରଖିଲେ।
And he sente hem in to the prisoun of the prince of knyytis, in which also Joseph was boundun.
4 ତହିଁରେ ରକ୍ଷକ ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ଯୋଷେଫଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କରନ୍ତେ, ଯୋଷେଫ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ତତ୍ତ୍ୱାବଧାରଣ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ। ଏହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ସେମାନେ କିଛି ଦିନ କାରାଗାରରେ ରହିଲେ।
And the keper of the prisoun bitook hem to Joseph, which also `mynystride to hem. Sumdel of tyme passide, and thei weren hooldun in kepyng, and bothe sien a dreem in o nyyt,
5 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମିସରୀୟ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ସେହି କାରାବଦ୍ଧ ପାନପାତ୍ରବାହକ ଓ ସୂପକାର ଦୁଇ ଜଣ ଏକ ରାତ୍ରିରେ ଦୁଇ ପ୍ରକାର ଅର୍ଥବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଦୁଇ ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ ଦେଖିଲେ।
bi couenable expownyng to hem.
6 ତହିଁରେ ଯୋଷେଫ ପ୍ରଭାତରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବା ବେଳେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଷଣ୍ଣ ଦେଖିଲେ।
And whanne Joseph hadde entrid to hem eerli, and hadde seyn hem sori,
7 ତହୁଁ ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ଯେଉଁ ଭୃତ୍ୟମାନେ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ତାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଭୁର କାରାଗାରରେ ବନ୍ଦ ଥିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେ ପଚାରିଲେ, “ଆଜି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମୁଖ ବିଷଣ୍ଣ କାହିଁକି?”
he axide hem, and seide, Whi is youre `face soriere to dai than it ys wont?
8 ସେମାନେ କହିଲେ, “ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ ଦେଖିଅଛୁ, ମାତ୍ର ତହିଁର ଅର୍ଥ କରିବାକୁ କେହି ନାହିଁ।” ତେବେ ଯୋଷେଫ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଅର୍ଥର ଜ୍ଞାନ କି ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ଅଧୀନ ନୁହେଁ? ବିନୟ କରୁଅଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ ମୋତେ କୁହ।”
Whiche answeriden, We seiyen a dreem, and `noon is that expowneth to vs. And Joseph seide to hem, Whether expownyng is not of God? Telle ye to me what ye han seyn.
9 ତହୁଁ ପ୍ରଧାନ ପାନପାତ୍ରବାହକ ଯୋଷେଫଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ କଥା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରି କହିଲା, “ଦେଖ, ଗୋଟିଏ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତା ମୋʼ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଥିଲା,
The `souereyn of boteleris telde first his dreem; Y seiy that a vyne bifore me,
10 ସେହି ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତାରେ ତିନି ଶାଖା ଥିଲା, ପୁଣି, ତାହା ପଲ୍ଲବିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ, ତହିଁରେ ଫୁଲ ଫୁଟିଲା, ଆଉ ସକଳ ପେଣ୍ଡାରେ ପେନ୍ଥା ପେନ୍ଥା ଅଙ୍ଗୁର ପାଚିଲା।
in which weren thre siouns, wexide litil and litil in to buriounnyngis, and that aftir flouris grapys wexiden ripe,
11 ସେତେବେଳେ ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତରେ ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ପାନପାତ୍ର ଥିବାରୁ ସେହି ପାତ୍ରରେ ମୁଁ ସେହି ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଫଳ ଘେନି ଚିପୁଡ଼ି ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତରେ ସେହି ପାତ୍ର ଦେଲି।”
and the cuppe of Farao was in myn hond; therfor Y took the grapis, and presside out in to the cuppe which Y helde, and Y yaf drynk to Farao.
12 ତହିଁରେ ଯୋଷେଫ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, “ଏଥିର ଅର୍ଥ ଏହି; ସେହି ତିନି ଶାଖାରେ ତିନି ଦିନ ବୁଝାଏ।
Joseph answerde, This is the expownyng of the dreem; thre siouns ben yit thre daies,
13 ତିନି ଦିନ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଫାରୋ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମସ୍ତକ ଉଠାଇ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନିଜ ପଦରେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିବେ; ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପୂର୍ବ ପରି ପାନପାତ୍ରବାହକ ହୋଇ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତରେ ପାନପାତ୍ର ଦେବ।
aftir whiche Farao schal haue mynde of thi seruyce, and he schal restore thee in to the firste degree, and thou schal yyue to hym the cuppe, bi thin office, as thou were wont to do bifore.
14 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହେଲେ, ମୋତେ ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବ, ପୁଣି, ମୋʼ ପ୍ରତି ଦୟା କରି ଫାରୋଙ୍କ ଛାମୁରେ ମୋʼ ବିଷୟ କହି ମୋତେ ଏହି କାରାଗାରରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବ।
Oneli haue thou mynde on me, whanne it is wel to thee, and thou schalt do merci with me, that thou make suggestioun to Farao, that he lede me out of this prisoun;
15 କାରଣ ଏବ୍ରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶରୁ ଲୋକମାନେ ମୋତେ ନିତାନ୍ତ ଚୋରି କରି ଆଣିଅଛନ୍ତି; ପୁଣି, ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୁଁ କିଛି କରି ନାହିଁ, ତଥାପି ସେମାନେ ମୋତେ ଏହି କାରାକୂପରେ ବନ୍ଦ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।”
for theefli Y am takun awei fro the lond of Ebrews, and here Y am sent innocent in to prisoun.
16 ତହିଁରେ ସେ ଉତ୍ତମ ଅର୍ଥ କଲେ, ପ୍ରଧାନ ସୂପକାର ଏହା ଦେଖି ଯୋଷେଫଙ୍କୁ କହିଲା, “ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ ଦେଖିଅଛି; ଦେଖ, ମୋʼ ମସ୍ତକ ଉପରେ ଶୁକ୍ଳ ପିଷ୍ଟକର ତିନୋଟି ଡାଲା।
The `maister of bakeris seiye that Joseph hadde expowned prudentli the dreem, and he seide, And Y seiy a dreem, that Y hadde thre panyeris of mele on myn heed,
17 ସର୍ବଉପର ଡାଲାରେ ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ଭୋଜନ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନାନା ପ୍ରକାର ପକ୍ୱାନ୍ନ ଥିଲା; ଆଉ ପକ୍ଷୀଗଣ ଆସି ମୋର ମସ୍ତକରେ ଥିବା ଡାଲାରୁ ତାହା ଘେନି ଖାଇଲେ।”
and Y gesside that Y bar in o panyere, that was heiyere, alle metis that ben maad bi craft of bakers, and that briddis eeten therof.
18 ସେତେବେଳେ ଯୋଷେଫ ଉତ୍ତର କଲେ, “ଏଥିର ଅର୍ଥ ଏହି, ସେହି ତିନି ଡାଲାରେ ତିନି ଦିନ ବୁଝାଏ।
Joseph answerde, This is the expownyng of the dreem; thre panyeris ben yit thre daies,
19 ତିନି ଦିନ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଫାରୋ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଶରୀରରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମସ୍ତକ ଉଠାଇ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବୃକ୍ଷ ଉପରେ ଟଙ୍ଗାଇବେ, ପୁଣି, ପକ୍ଷୀଗଣ ଆସି ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗାତ୍ରରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମାଂସ ଖାଇବେ।”
aftir whiche Farao schal take awei thin heed, and he schal hange thee in a cros, and briddis schulen todrawe thi fleischis.
20 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ତୃତୀୟ ଦିନରେ ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ଜନ୍ମ ଦିନ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେବାରୁ ସେ ଆପଣା ସମସ୍ତ ଦାସଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଭୋଜ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ। ତହିଁରେ ସେ ଆପଣା ସମସ୍ତ ଦାସଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ପ୍ରଧାନ ପାନପାତ୍ର ବାହକର ଓ ପ୍ରଧାନ ସୂପକାରର ମସ୍ତକ ଉଠାଇଲେ।
Fro thennus the thridde dai was the dai of birthe of Farao, which made a greet feeste to hise children, and hadde mynde among metis on the maistir `of boteleris, and on the prince of bakeris;
21 ପୁଣି, ଯୋଷେଫଙ୍କର କଥିତ ଅର୍ଥାନୁସାରେ ଫାରୋ ପ୍ରଧାନ ପାନପାତ୍ର ବାହାକକୁ ତାହାର ନିଜ ପଦରେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ସେ ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତରେ ପାନପାତ୍ର ଦେବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା।
and he restoride the oon in to his place, that he schulde dresse cuppe to `the kyng,
22 ମାତ୍ର ସେ ପ୍ରଧାନ ସୂପକାରକୁ ବୃକ୍ଷରେ ଟଙ୍ଗାଇଲେ;
and he hangide `the tothir in a gebat, that the treuthe of `the expownere schulde be preued.
23 ତଥାପି, ପ୍ରଧାନ ପାନପାତ୍ରବାହକ ଯୋଷେଫଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କଲା ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ତାଙ୍କୁ ପାସୋରି ଗଲା।
And netheles whanne prosperitees bifelden, the `souereyn of boteleris foryat `his expownere.
