ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଲିଖିତ ପ୍ରଥମ ପୁସ୍ତକ 35

1 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯାକୁବଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଉଠି ବେଥେଲ୍‍କୁ ଯାଇ ସେଠାରେ ବାସ କର; ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭ୍ରାତା ଏଷୌ ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ପଳାଇବା ସମୟରେ ଯେଉଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଦର୍ଶନ ଦେଇଥିଲେ, ତାହାଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦି ନିର୍ମାଣ କର।”

And he said God to Jacob arise go up Beth-el and dwell there and make there an altar to the God who appeared to you when fleeing you from before Esau brother your.

2 ତହିଁରେ ଯାକୁବ ଆପଣା ପରିଜନ ଓ ସଙ୍ଗୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଯେଉଁସବୁ ବିଦେଶୀୟ ଦେବତା ଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୂର କର, ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶୁଚି କର, ପୁଣି, ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କର।

And he said Jacob to household his and to all who [were] with him remove [the] gods of foreignness which in midst of you and purify yourselves and change clothes your.

3 ପୁଣି, ଆସ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଉଠି ବେଥେଲ୍‍କୁ ଯାଉ; ଯେଉଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମୋର ଦୁଃଖର ଦିନରେ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାର ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ଓ ମୋର ଗମନର ପଥରେ ମୋର ସହାୟ ହୋଇଥିଲେ, ତାହାଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ମୁଁ ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦି ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବି।”

So let us arise and we may go up Beth-el so I may make there an altar to the God who answered me on [the] day of distress my and he has been with me on the journey which I have gone.

4 ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟସ୍ଥ ବିଦେଶୀୟ ଦେବତା ଓ କର୍ଣ୍ଣକୁଣ୍ଡଳ ସକଳ ଘେନି ଯାକୁବଙ୍କୁ ଦେଲେ, ପୁଣି, ସେ ତାହାସବୁ ନେଇ ଶିଖିମ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଅଲୋନ ବୃକ୍ଷ ମୂଳେ ଲୁଚାଇ ରଖିଲେ।

And they gave to Jacob all [the] gods of foreignness which [were] in hand their and the rings which [were] in ears their and he hid them Jacob under the oak which [was] near Shechem.

5 ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେମାନେ ଯାତ୍ରା କଲେ; ସେତେବେଳେ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗସ୍ଥ ନଗରରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଭୟ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେବାରୁ ସେମାନେ ଯାକୁବଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇଲେ ନାହିଁ।

And they set out and it was - [the] terror of God on the cities which [were] around them and not people pursued after [the] sons of Jacob.

6 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯାକୁବ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସଙ୍ଗୀସମୂହ କିଣାନ ଦେଶସ୍ଥ ଲୂସ୍‌ରେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ବେଥେଲ୍‍ରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ।

And he came Jacob Luz towards which [is] in [the] land of Canaan that [is] Beth-el he and all the people which [was] with him.

7 ସେଠାରେ ସେ ଏକ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦି ନିର୍ମାଣ କରି ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନର ନାମ ଏଲ-ବେଥେଲ୍‍ ରଖିଲେ; କାରଣ ଯାକୁବ ଭ୍ରାତୃଭୟରେ ପଳାଇବା ବେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦର୍ଶନ ଦେଇଥିଲେ।

And he built there an altar and he called the place El Beth-el for there they had revealed themselves to him God when fled he from before brother his.

8 ଆଉ ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ରିବିକାର ଦବୋରା ନାମ୍ନୀ ଧାତ୍ରୀର ମୃତ୍ୟୁୁ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ, ବେଥେଲ୍‍ର ଅଧଃସ୍ଥିତ ଅଲୋନ ବୃକ୍ଷ ମୂଳେ ତାହାର କବର ହେଲା, ପୁଣି, ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନର ନାମ ଅଲୋନ-ବାଖୁତ୍‍ ହେଲା।

And she died Deborah [the] suckling-nurse of Rebekah and she was buried from under to Beth-el under the oak and someone called name its Allon Bacuth.

9 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯାକୁବ ପଦ୍ଦନ୍‍ ଅରାମଠାରୁ ବାହୁଡ଼ି ଆସନ୍ତେ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ପୁନର୍ବାର ଦର୍ଶନ ଦେଇ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କଲେ।

And he appeared God to Jacob again when came he from Paddan Aram and he blessed him.

10 ପୁଣି, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭର ନାମ ଯାକୁବ; ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭର ନାମ ଆଉ ଯାକୁବ ହେବ ନାହିଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ନାମ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ହେବ;” ଆଉ ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ନାମ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ରଖିଲେ।

And he said to him God name your [is] Jacob not it will be called (name your *LBH(a)*) again Jacob that except Israel it will be name your and he called name his Israel.

11 ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାଙ୍କୁ ଆହୁରି କହିଲେ, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରଜାବନ୍ତ ଓ ବହୁବଂଶ ହୁଅ; ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଏକ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ, ବରଂ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ସମାଜ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହେବ, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭ କଟିଦେଶରୁ ରାଜାଗଣ ଜାତ ହେବେ।

And he said to him God I [am] God Almighty be fruitful and multiply a nation and a company of nations it will be from you and kings from loins your they will come out.

12 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅବ୍ରହାମ ଓ ଇସ୍‌ହାକକୁ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଦାନ କରିଅଛୁ, ସେହି ଦେଶ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ ବଂଶକୁ ଦେବା।”

And the land which I gave to Abraham and to Isaac to you I will give it and to offspring your after you I will give the land.

13 ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଏହିପରି କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କରି ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱଗମନ କଲେ।

And he went up from with him God at the place where he had spoken with him.

14 ତହିଁରେ ଯାକୁବ ସେହି କଥୋପକଥନର ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଏକ ସ୍ତମ୍ଭ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ସ୍ତମ୍ଭ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରି ତହିଁ ଉପରେ ପାନୀୟ ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ ଓ ତୈଳ ଢାଳିଲେ।

And he set up Jacob a pillar at the place where he had spoken with him a pillar of stone and he poured out on it a drink offering and he poured on it oil.

15 ପୁଣି, ଯାକୁବ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥୋପକଥନ ସ୍ଥାନର ନାମ ବେଥେଲ୍‍ ରଖିଲେ।

And he called Jacob [the] name of the place where he had spoken with him there God Beth-el.

16 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେମାନେ ବେଥେଲ୍‍ଠାରୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ କଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ଇଫ୍ରାଥାରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ଅଳ୍ପ ପଥ ଥାଉ ଥାଉ ରାହେଲର ପ୍ରସବବେଦନା ହେଲା; ପୁଣି, ତାହାର ପ୍ରସବ କରିବାରେ ଅତିଶୟ କଷ୍ଟ ହେଲା।

And they set out from Beth-el and it was yet [the] distance of the land to go Ephrathah and she gave birth Rachel and she had difficulties when gave birth she.

17 ଆଉ ପ୍ରସବ ବ୍ୟଥା ଅତିଶୟ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ, ଧାତ୍ରୀ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲା, “ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହିଥର ମଧ୍ୟ ପୁତ୍ର ପ୍ରସବ କରିବ।”

And it was when had difficulties she when gave birth she and she said to her the midwife may not you be afraid for also this [one] for you [is] a son.

18 ତଥାପି ସେ ମଲା, ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରାଣତ୍ୟାଗ ସମୟରେ ପୁତ୍ରର ନାମ ବିନୋନୀ ରଖିଲା; ମାତ୍ର ତାହାର ପିତା ତାହାର ନାମ ବିନ୍ୟାମୀନ୍ ରଖିଲେ।

And it was when went out life her for she died and she called name his Ben-Oni and father his he called him Benjamin.

19 ଏହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ରାହେଲର ମୃତ୍ୟୁୁ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ, ଇଫ୍ରାଥା, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ବେଥଲିହିମକୁ ଯିବା ପଥ ନିକଟରେ ତାହାର କବର ହେଲା।

And she died Rachel and she was buried on [the] way of Ephrathah that [is] Beth-lehem.

20 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯାକୁବ ସେହି କବର ଉପରେ ଏକ ସ୍ତମ୍ଭ ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ; ରାହେଲ-କବରସ୍ଥ ସେହି ସ୍ତମ୍ଭ ଆଜି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଅଛି।

And he set up Jacob a pillar over grave her it [is] [the] pillar of [the] grave of Rachel until this day.

21 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସେଠାରୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ କରି ଏଦର ଗଡ଼ ପାର ହୋଇ ତହିଁ ନିକଟରେ ତମ୍ବୁ ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ।

And he set out Israel and he pitched (tent his *Q(K)*) from beyond Migdal Eder.

22 ସେହି ଦେଶରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବାସ କରିବା ବେଳେ ରୁବେନ୍‍ ଯାଇ ଆପଣା ପିତାଙ୍କର ବିଲ୍‌ହା ନାମ୍ନୀ ଉପପତ୍ନୀ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଶୟନ କଲା, ପୁଣି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ତାହା ଶୁଣିଲେ।

And it was when dwelt Israel in the land that and he went Reuben (and he lay with *L(p)*) (Bilhah *L(p)*) [the] concubine of (father of his *L(p)*) and he heard (Israel. *L(p)*) And they were [the] sons of Jacob two [plus] ten.

23 ଯାକୁବଙ୍କର ଦ୍ୱାଦଶ ପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲେ; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ରୁବେନ୍‍ ଯାକୁବଙ୍କର ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠ ପୁତ୍ର, ସେ, ପୁଣି, ଶିମୀୟୋନ ଓ ଲେବୀ ଓ ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ଇଷାଖର ଓ ସବୂଲୂନ, ଏମାନେ ଲେୟାର ସନ୍ତାନ;

[the] sons of Leah [the] firstborn of Jacob Reuben and Simeon and Levi and Judah and Issachar and Zebulun.

24 ପୁଣି, ଯୋଷେଫ ଓ ବିନ୍ୟାମୀନ୍ ରାହେଲର ସନ୍ତାନ;

[the] sons of Rachel Joseph and Benjamin.

25 ପୁଣି, ଦାନ୍ ଓ ନପ୍ତାଲି ରାହେଲର ଦାସୀ ବିଲ୍‌ହାର ସନ୍ତାନ;

And [the] sons of Bilhah [the] maidservant of Rachel Dan and Naphtali.

26 ଆଉ ଗାଦ୍‍ ଓ ଆଶେର ଲେୟାର ଦାସୀ ସିଳ୍ପାର ସନ୍ତାନ। ଯାକୁବଙ୍କର ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ପୁତ୍ର ପଦ୍ଦନ୍‍ ଅରାମଠାରେ ଜନ୍ମିଥିଲେ।

And [the] sons of Zilpah [the] maidservant of Leah Gad and Asher these [were] [the] sons of Jacob who it was born to him in Paddan Aram.

27 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ କିରୀୟଥ୍‍-ଅର୍ବ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ହିବ୍ରୋଣ ନଗରର ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ମମ୍ରି ନାମକ ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଅବ୍ରହାମ ଓ ଇସ୍‌ହାକ ପ୍ରବାସ କରିଥିଲେ, ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଯାକୁବ ଆପଣା ପିତା ଇସ୍‌ହାକ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ।

And he came Jacob to Isaac father his Mamre Kiriath Arba that [is] Hebron where he had sojourned there Abraham and Isaac.

28 ଇସ୍‌ହାକଙ୍କର ଆୟୁର ପରିମାଣ ଏକ ଶହ ଅଶୀ ବର୍ଷ ଥିଲା।

And they were [the] days of Isaac one hundred year[s] and eighty year[s].

29 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଇସ୍‌ହାକ ବୃଦ୍ଧ ଓ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣାୟୁ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରାଣତ୍ୟାଗ କରନ୍ତେ, ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସଂଗୃହୀତ ହେଲେ; ପୁଣି, ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଏଷୌ ଓ ଯାକୁବ ତାଙ୍କୁ କବର ଦେଲେ।

And he expired Isaac and he died and he was gathered to people his an old [man] and satisfied of days and they buried him Esau and Jacob sons his.
