ଯିହିଜିକଲ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦବକ୍ତାଙ୍କ ପୁସ୍ତକ 26
1 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଏକାଦଶ ବର୍ଷର ମାସର ପ୍ରଥମ ଦିନରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା ଏବଂ ସେ କହିଲେ,
And it came to pass in the eleventh year, on the first [day] of the month, [that] the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
2 “ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନ, ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସୋର ସହର କହିଅଛି, ‘ଭଲ ହେଲା, ଭଲ ହେଲା, ଯେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ନଗର-ଦ୍ୱାର ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଥିଲା, ସେ ଭଗ୍ନ ହୋଇ ଯାଇଅଛି; ସେ ଆମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଫେରିଅଛି; ସେ ଏବେ ଶୂନ୍ୟ ହେବାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେବା;’
Son of man, because Sor has said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is crushed: the nations are destroyed: she is turned to me: she that was full is made desolate:
3 ଏଥିପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ହେ ସୋର, ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳ ଅଟୁ ଓ ସମୁଦ୍ର ଯେପରି ତରଙ୍ଗ ଉଠାଏ, ସେହିପରି ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଅନେକ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଙ୍କୁ ଉଠାଇବା।
therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I am against thee, O Sor, and I will bring up many nations against thee, as the sea comes up with its waves.
4 ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ ସୋରର ପ୍ରାଚୀର ନଷ୍ଟ କରିବେ ଓ ତାହାର ଦୁର୍ଗସବୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇବେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ ତାହାର ଧୂଳିସବୁ ଚାଞ୍ଛି ପକାଇ ତାକୁ ଶୁଷ୍କ ଶୈଳ କରିବା।
And they shall cast down the walls of Sor, and shall cast down thy towers: and I will scrape her dust from off her, and make her a bare rock.
5 ସେ ସମୁଦ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଜାଲ ପ୍ରସାରିବାର ସ୍ଥାନ ହେବ; କାରଣ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହା କହିଅଛୁ; ଆଉ, ସେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଲୁଟିତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବ।
She shall be in the midst of the sea a place for repairing nets: for I have spoken [it], saith the Lord: and it shall be a spoil for the nations.
6 ପୁଣି, କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥିତ ତାହାର କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ଖଡ୍ଗରେ ହତ ହେବେ; ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟୁ, ଏହା ସେମାନେ ଜାଣିବେ।
And her daughters [which are] in the field shall be slain with the sword, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
7 କାରଣ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଗରୁ ଅଶ୍ୱ, ରଥ, ଅଶ୍ୱାରୋହୀଗଣ, ସମାଜ ଓ ଅନେକ ଲୋକ ସହିତ ରାଜାଧିରାଜ ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସରକୁ ସୋର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆଣିବା।
For thus saith the Lord; Behold, I [will] bring up against thee, O Sor, Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon from the north: he is a king of kings, with horses, and chariots, and horsemen, and a concourse of very many nations.
8 ସେ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥିତ ତୁମ୍ଭର କନ୍ୟାଗଣକୁ ଖଡ୍ଗରେ ବଧ କରିବ; ଆଉ, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଦୁର୍ଗ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ବନ୍ଧ ବାନ୍ଧିବ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଢାଲ ଉଠାଇବ।
He shall slay thy daughters that are in the field with the sword, and shall set a watch against thee, and build forts around thee, and carry a rampart round against thee, and set up warlike works, and array his spears against thee.
9 ପୁଣି, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରାଚୀରରେ ଦୁର୍ଗଭେଦକ ଯନ୍ତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବ ଓ ତାହାର ଅସ୍ତ୍ରଶସ୍ତ୍ର ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗଡ଼ସବୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇବ।
He shall cast down with his swords thy walls and thy towers.
10 ତାହାର ଅଶ୍ୱଗଣର ବାହୁଲ୍ୟ ସକାଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଧୂଳି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରିବ; ଲୋକେ ଭଗ୍ନ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ନଗରରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲା ପରି, ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନଗର-ଦ୍ୱାରରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଅଶ୍ୱାରୋହୀଗଣର, ଶଗଡ଼ ଓ ରଥସମୂହର ଶବ୍ଦରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରାଚୀରସବୁ କମ୍ପି ଉଠିବ।
By reason of thy multitude of his horses their dust shall cover thee, and by reason of the sound of his horsemen and the wheels of his chariots the walls shall be shaken, when he enters into thy gates, as one entering into a city from the plain.
11 ସେ ଆପଣା ଅଶ୍ୱଗଣର ଖୁରାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସଡ଼କସବୁ ଦଳି ପକାଇବ; ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଖଡ୍ଗରେ ବଧ କରିବ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରାକ୍ରମସୂଚକ ସ୍ତମ୍ଭସକଳ ଭୂମିସାତ୍ କରିବ।
With the hoofs of his horses they shall trample all thy streets: he shall slay thy people with the sword, and shall bring down to the ground the support of thy strength.
12 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତିସବୁ ଲୁଟି ନେବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବାଣିଜ୍ୟ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ହରଣ କରିବେ; ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମନୋରମ ଗୃହସବୁ ଧ୍ୱଂସ କରିବେ; ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରସ୍ତର, କାଷ୍ଠ ଓ ଧୂଳିସବୁ ଜଳରେ ନିକ୍ଷେପ କରିବେ।
And he shall prey upon thy power, and plunder thy substance, and shall cast down thy walls, and break down thy pleasant houses: and he shall cast thy stones and thy timber and thy dust into the midst of thy sea.
13 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗାୟନ ଶବ୍ଦ ନିବୃତ୍ତ କରାଇବା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବୀଣାର ଧ୍ୱନି ଆଉ ଶୁଣାଯିବ ନାହିଁ।
And he shall destroy the multitude of thy musicians, and the sound of thy psalteries shall be heard no more.
14 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଶୁଷ୍କ ଶୈଳ କରିବା; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଲ ପ୍ରସାରିବାର ସ୍ଥାନ ହେବ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆଉ ନିର୍ମିତ ନୋହିବ କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହା କହିଅଛୁ, ଏହା ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।
And I will make thee a bare rock: thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more: for I the Lord have spoken [it], saith the Lord.
15 ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସୋରକୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆହତ ଲୋକମାନେ କାତରୋକ୍ତି କରିବେ ଓ ସଂହାର ହେବ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସେହି ପତନ ସମୟର ଶବ୍ଦରେ କିମ୍ବା ଦ୍ୱୀପସମୂହ କମ୍ପିବେ ନାହିଁ?
For thus saith the Lord God to Sor; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy fall, while the wounded are groaning, while they have drawn a sword in the midst of thee?
16 ସେତେବେଳେ ସମୁଦ୍ରର ଅଧିପତିସକଳ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସିଂହାସନରୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇବେ ଓ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଚୋଗା ତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ଶିଳ୍ପକର୍ମର ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଫିଟାଇ ପକାଇବେ; ସେମାନେ ତ୍ରାସରୂପ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରିଧାନ କରିବେ; ସେମାନେ ଭୂମିରେ ବସିବେ ଓ ଅନୁକ୍ଷଣ ତ୍ରାସଯୁକ୍ତ ହେବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଷୟରେ ବିସ୍ମିତ ହେବେ।
And all the princes of the nations of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and shall take off their crowns from their heads, and shall take off their embroidered raiment: they shall be utterly amazed; they shall sit upon the ground, and fear their [own] destruction, and shall groan over thee.
17 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଷୟରେ ବିଳାପ କରି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିବେ, ‘ହେ ସମୁଦ୍ର ବ୍ୟବସାୟୀମାନଙ୍କର ନିବାସଭୂମି ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ନଗରୀ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କିପରି ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଅଛ! ସେ ତ ସମୁଦ୍ରରେ ପରାକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଥିଲା; ସେ ଓ ତାହାର ନିବାସୀଗଣ ସେଠାରେ ଗତାୟାତକାରୀ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଭୟଜନକ ଥିଲେ।
And they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and shall say to thee, How art thou destroyed from out of the sea, the renowned city, that brought her terror upon all her inhabitants.
18 ଏବେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପତନ ଦିନରେ ଦ୍ୱୀପସମୂହ କମ୍ପମାନ ହେବେ; ହଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନରେ ସମୁଦ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଦ୍ୱୀପସବୁ ବିହ୍ୱଳ ହେବେ।’
And the isles shall be alarmed at the day of thy fall.
19 କାରଣ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନିବାସୀବିହୀନ ନଗରସମୂହର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ-ନଗର କରିବା; ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଗଭୀର ସାଗରକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରକୁ ଆଣିବା ଓ ମହାଜଳରାଶି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରିବ:
For thus saith the Lord God; When I shall make the city desolate, as the cities that shall not be inhabited, when I have brought the deep up upon thee,
20 ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଗର୍ତ୍ତଗାମୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ, ପୁରାତନ କାଳର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆଣିବା ଓ ପୃଥିବୀର ଅଧୋଭାଗରେ, ଚିରକାଳରୁ ଉତ୍ସନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନମାନଙ୍କରେ ଗର୍ତ୍ତଗାମୀମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବାସ କରାଇବା, ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବସତି ସ୍ଥାନ ରହିବ ନାହିଁ; ପୁଣି, ଜୀବିତମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶୋଭା ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା;
and great waters shall cover thee; and I shall bring thee down to them that go down to the pit, to the people of old time, and shall cause thee to dwell in the depths of the earth, as in everlasting desolation, with them that go down to the pit, that thou mayest not be inhabited, nor stand upon the land of life;
21 ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଭୟଙ୍କରୀ କରିବା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆଉ ନ ଥିବ; ଯଦ୍ୟପି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅନ୍ଵେଷଣ କରାଯିବ, ତଥାପି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ଆଉ କେବେ ମିଳିବ ନାହିଁ, ଏହା ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।”
I will make thee a destruction, and thou shalt be no more for ever, saith the Lord God.
