ଯିହିଜିକଲ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦବକ୍ତାଙ୍କ ପୁସ୍ତକ 24
1 ପୁନର୍ବାର ନବମ ବର୍ଷର ଦଶମ ମାସରେ, ମାସର ଦଶମ ଦିନରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା ଏବଂ ସେ କହିଲେ,
Moreover, the word of Jehovah came to me in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, and said:
2 “ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦିନର ନାମ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଆଜି ଦିନର ନାମ ଲେଖି ରଖ; ଆଜି ଦିନରେ ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହେଲା।
Son of man, write the name of the day, even of this same day. The king of Babylon draweth near to Jerusalem this same day.
3 ଏଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ବିଦ୍ରୋହୀ ବଂଶର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତ କଥା କହି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହ, ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ହଣ୍ଡା ଚଢ଼ାଅ, ତାହା ଚଢ଼ାଅ ଓ ମଧ୍ୟ ତହିଁ ଭିତରେ ଜଳ ଢାଳିଦିଅ;
Utter a parable to the rebellious house, and say to them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Set on a caldron, set it on, and also pour water into it.
4 ମାଂସଖଣ୍ଡସବୁ, ଉତ୍ତମ ଉତ୍ତମ ଖଣ୍ଡସବୁ, ଊରୁ ଓ ସ୍କନ୍ଧ, ତହିଁ ଭିତରେ ଏକତ୍ର କର; ଭଲ ଭଲ ଅସ୍ଥିରେ ତାହା ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କର।
Gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.
5 ପଲ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଉତ୍ତମ ପଶୁ ନିଅ ଓ ହଣ୍ଡା ତଳେ ଅସ୍ଥିସବୁ ସଜାଅ; ତାହା ଉତ୍ତମ ରୂପେ ସିଦ୍ଧ କର ଓ ଅସ୍ଥିସବୁ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପାକ ହେଉ।
Take the choice of the flock, and make under it a pile for the bones, and make it boil well, that the bones therein may be seethed.
6 ଏହେତୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ସେହି ରକ୍ତପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣା ନଗରୀ, ସେହି ହଣ୍ଡା, ଯହିଁର କଳଙ୍କ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅଛି ଓ ଯହିଁର କଳଙ୍କ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ବାହାର ହୋଇ ନାହିଁ, ସେ ସନ୍ତାପର ପାତ୍ର! ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଖଣ୍ଡ ଖଣ୍ଡ କରି ତାହା ବାହାର କର; ତହିଁ ବିଷୟରେ ଗୁଲିବାଣ୍ଟ କରାଯାଇ ନାହିଁ।
Wherefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the city of blood, to the caldron in which is rust, and whose rust goeth not out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.
7 କାରଣ ତାହାର ରକ୍ତ ତାହା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅଛି; ସେ ଶୁଷ୍କ ଶୈଳ ଉପରେ ତାହା ରଖିଲା; ସେ ଧୂଳିରେ ତାହା ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଭୂମିରେ ତାହା ଢାଳିଲା ନାହିଁ;
For blood is in the midst of her; upon the bare rock hath she shed it; she poured it not upon the ground, that it might be covered with dust.
8 ସେ ରକ୍ତ ପ୍ରତିଶୋଧ ନେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେପରି କୋପକୁ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ କରାଇବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ନୋହିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଷ୍କ ଶୈଳ ଉପରେ ତାହା ରଖିଅଛୁ।
To cause fury and to take vengeance, I have set the blood shed by her upon the bare rock, that it might not be covered.
9 ଏହେତୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ସେହି ରକ୍ତପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣା ନଗରୀ ସନ୍ତାପର ପାତ୍ର! ଆମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ ରାଶି ବଡ଼ କରିବା।
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the city of blood! Now will I make the pile for fire great.
10 କାଠ ଗଦା କର, ଅଗ୍ନି ଜ୍ୱଳାଅ, ମାଂସ ଉତ୍ତମ ରୂପେ ସିଦ୍ଧ କର, ଝୋଳ ବହଳ କର ଓ ଅସ୍ଥିସବୁ ଦଗ୍ଧ ହେଉ।
Heap on wood, kindle the fire, cook the flesh, put in spices, and let the bones be burned.
11 ତହିଁରେ ହଣ୍ଡା ତପ୍ତ ହେବା ପାଇଁ, ତହିଁର ପିତଳ ଦଗ୍ଧ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ଓ ତହିଁର ମଇଳା ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତରଳି ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ଓ କଳଙ୍କ କ୍ଷୟ ପାଇବା ପାଇଁ ତାହା ଖାଲି କର, ତାହା ଜ୍ୱଳନ୍ତା ଅଙ୍ଗାର ଉପରେ ରଖ।
Then set it empty upon the coals, that its brass may be hot and may burn, and that its impurity may be dissolved in it, and its rust be consumed.
12 ସେ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରି କରି ଆପଣାକୁ କ୍ଳାନ୍ତ କରିଅଛି; ତଥାପି ତାହାର ମହାକଳଙ୍କ ତାହା ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଯାଏ ନାହିଁ; ତାହାର କଳଙ୍କ ଅଗ୍ନି ଦ୍ୱାରା ଯାଏ ନାହିଁ।
It hath wearied me with labors, yet its thick rust goeth not from it; its rust remaineth in the midst of the fire.
13 ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଶୌଚର ଲମ୍ପଟତା ଅଛି; ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଶୁଚି କଲେ ହେଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଚି ହେଲ ନାହିଁ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା କୋପ ଶାନ୍ତ ନ କରିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଅଶୌଚରୁ ଆଉ ଶୁଚୀକୃତ ନୋହିବ।
In thy filthiness is gross wickedness, because, when I would have cleansed thee, thou wouldst not be cleansed. Thou shalt not be cleansed from thy filthiness any more, till I have quieted my fury toward thee.
14 ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହା କହିଅଛୁ, ଏହା ସିଦ୍ଧ ହେବ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହା ସାଧନ କରିବା; ଆମ୍ଭେ ଫେରିଯିବା ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ଆମ୍ଭେ ଚକ୍ଷୁଲଜ୍ଜା କରିବା ନାହିଁ; ଅଥବା ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅନୁତାପ କରିବା ନାହିଁ; ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆଚରଣ ଅନୁସାରେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର କ୍ରିୟାନୁସାରେ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଚାର କରିବେ, ଏହା ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।”
I, Jehovah, have spoken it; it shall come to pass, and I will do it. I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent. According to thy ways and according to thy doings shall they judge thee, saith the Lord Jehovah.
15 ଆହୁରି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା ଏବଂ ସେ କହିଲେ,
Also the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
16 “ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନ, ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନୟନର ପ୍ରୀତିପାତ୍ରକୁ ଏକ ଆଘାତରେ ହରଣ କରିବା; ତଥାପି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବିଳାପ କି କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭର ଚକ୍ଷୁରୁ ଲୋତକ ଧାର ବହିବ ନାହିଁ।
Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with one blow; yet thou shalt not mourn, nor weep, nor shall thy tears run down.
17 ଦୀର୍ଘ ନିଃଶ୍ୱାସ ଛାଡ଼, ମାତ୍ର ଉଚ୍ଚ କରି ନୁହେଁ; ମୃତ ଲୋକ ପାଇଁ ବିଳାପ କର ନାହିଁ, ଆପଣା ମସ୍ତକରେ ଶିରୋଭୂଷଣ ବାନ୍ଧ ଓ ପାଦରେ ପାଦୁକା ପିନ୍ଧ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଓଷ୍ଠାଧର ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କର ନାହିଁ, ପୁଣି, ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ରୁଟି ଖାଅ ନାହିଁ।”
Sigh thou in silence, make no mourning for the dead; bind thy head-dress upon thee, and thy shoes on thy feet; cover not thy lips, and eat not the bread of wretched men.
18 ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ପ୍ରାତଃକାଳରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ କଥା କହିଲି; ପୁଣି, ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ବେଳେ ମୋର ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା ମଲା, ତହିଁରେ ପ୍ରାତଃକାଳରେ ମୁଁ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ କର୍ମ କଲି।
So I spake to the people in the morning, and my wife died in the evening; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.
19 ତହୁଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ମୋତେ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ଏରୂପ କରୁଅଛ, ଏସବୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କଅଣ, ଏହା କି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବ ନାହିଁ?”
And the people said to me, Wilt thou not tell us what those things which thou doest denote to us?
20 ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲି, “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା,
Then I answered them: The word of Jehovah came to me and said:
21 ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶକୁ କୁହ, ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବଳର ଦର୍ପ ସ୍ୱରୂପ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନୟନର ପ୍ରୀତିପାତ୍ର ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣର ସ୍ନେହପାତ୍ର, ଏପରି ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଧର୍ମଧାମ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ଅପବିତ୍ର କରିବା, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଯେଉଁ ପୁତ୍ରକନ୍ୟାଗଣକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପଛରେ ଛାଡ଼ି ଯାଇଅଛ, ସେମାନେ ଖଡ୍ଗରେ ପତିତ ହେବେ।
Say to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your confidence, the desire of your eyes, and the longing of your souls; and your sons and daughters that are left to you shall fall by the sword.
22 ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେପରି କରିଅଛୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେହିପରି କରିବ; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଓଷ୍ଠାଧର ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ରୁଟି ଖାଇବ ନାହିଁ।
And ye shall do as I have done; ye shall not cover your mouths, nor eat the bread of wretched men;
23 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଶିରୋଭୂଷଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମସ୍ତକରେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଦୁକା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଦରେ ରହିବ; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିଳାପ କିମ୍ବା କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଅଧର୍ମରେ କ୍ଷୀଣ ହୋଇଯିବ ଓ ଏକ ଜଣ ଆରେକର ନିକଟରେ ବିଳାପ କରିବ।
and your head-dresses shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet; ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and moan one to another.
24 ଏହିରୂପେ ଯିହିଜିକଲ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଚିହ୍ନସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବେ; ସେ ଯେପରି କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସର୍ବପ୍ରକାରେ ସେହିପରି କରିବ; ଏହା ଯେତେବେଳେ ଘଟିବ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟୁ, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣିବ।’
Thus Ezekiel shall be to you a sign; according to all that he hath done shall ye do, when this cometh; and ye shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.
25 ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ଦିନ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବଳ, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗୌରବଜନକ ଆନନ୍ଦ, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ନୟନର ପ୍ରୀତିପାତ୍ର ଓ ଯହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଚିତ୍ତ ଆସକ୍ତ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଓ କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ହରଣ କରିବା,
And thou, son of man, behold, in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and the longing of their souls, their sons and their daughters, in that day shall one
26 ସେ ଦିନ ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭ କର୍ଣ୍ଣଗୋଚର କରାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପଳାତକ ଲୋକ କି ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବ ନାହିଁ?
that is escaped come to thee, to cause thee to hear it with thine ears.
27 ସେ ଦିନ ପଳାତକ ଲୋକ ନିକଟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମୁଖ ଫିଟିଯିବ, ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆଉ ଘୁଙ୍ଗା ନ ହୋଇ କଥା କହିବ; ଏହିରୂପେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଚିହ୍ନସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବ; ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟୁ, ଏହା ସେମାନେ ଜାଣିବେ।”
In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him that is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb; and thou shalt be a sign to them, and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
