ଯିହିଜିକଲ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦବକ୍ତାଙ୍କ ପୁସ୍ତକ 23
1 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ପୁନର୍ବାର ମୋʼ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା ଏବଂ ସେ କହିଲେ,
Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 “ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନ, ଦୁଇ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଥିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ଏକ ମାତାର କନ୍ୟା;
“Son of man, there were two women, daughters of the same mother,
3 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ମିସରରେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କଲେ; ସେମାନେ ଯୌବନ କାଳରେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କଲେ; ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସ୍ତନ ମର୍ଦ୍ଦିତ ହେଲା, ଆଉ ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର କୌମାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାଳୀନ କୁଚାଗ୍ର ଟିପିଲେ।
and they played in Egypt, prostituting themselves from their youth. Their breasts were fondled there, and their virgin bosoms caressed.
4 ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠାର ନାମ ଅହଲା (ତାହାର ତମ୍ବୁ) ଓ ତାହାର ଭଗିନୀର ନାମ ଅହଲୀବା (ତାହାର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ତମ୍ବୁ); ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ହେଲେ ଓ ପୁତ୍ରକନ୍ୟା ପ୍ରସବ କଲେ। ପୁଣି, ନାମାନୁସାରେ ଶମରୀୟା ଅହଲା ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ଅହଲୀବା ଅଟେ।
The older was named Oholah, and her sister was named Oholibah. They became Mine and gave birth to sons and daughters. As for their identities, Oholah is Samaria, and Oholibah is Jerusalem.
5 ଆଉ, ଅହଲା ଆମ୍ଭର ହୋଇଥିବା ସମୟରେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କଲା ଓ ଆପଣାର ପ୍ରତିବାସୀ ଅଶୂରୀୟ ପ୍ରେମିକଗଣଠାରେ ଆସକ୍ତା ହେଲା,
Oholah prostituted herself while she was still Mine. She lusted after her lovers, the Assyrians—warriors
6 ସେମାନେ ନୀଳାମ୍ବର ପରିହିତ, ଦେଶାଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ, ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତୃଗଣ ଓ ସମସ୍ତେ ମନୋହର ଯୁବା ଲୋକ ଓ ଅଶ୍ୱାରୋହୀ ଥିଲେ।
clothed in blue, governors and commanders, all desirable young men, horsemen mounted on steeds.
7 ପୁଣି, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଅଶୂରର ମନୋନୀତ ସକଳ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କଲା ଓ ସେ ଯେକୌଣସି ଲୋକ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରେମରେ ଆସକ୍ତ ଥିଲା, ତାହାର ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆପଣାକୁ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟା କଲା।
She offered sexual favors to all the elite of Assyria. She defiled herself with all the idols of those for whom she lusted.
8 ଆଉ, ସେ ମିସର ଦେଶର ସମୟଠାରୁ ଆପଣା ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର ବୃତ୍ତି ତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ତାହାର ଯୌବନାବସ୍ଥାରେ ସେମାନେ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ଶୟନ କଲେ ଓ ତାହାର କୌମାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାଳୀନ କୁଚାଗ୍ର ଟିପିଲେ; ଆଉ, ତାହା ସହିତ ଅତିଶୟ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କଲେ।
She did not give up the prostitution she began in Egypt, when men slept with her in her youth, caressed her virgin bosom, and poured out their lust upon her.
9 ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ପ୍ରେମିକଗଣର ହସ୍ତରେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସେ ପ୍ରେମରେ ଆସକ୍ତା ହୋଇଥିଲା, ସେହି ଅଶୂରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ତାହାକୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲୁ।
Therefore I delivered her into the hands of her lovers, the Assyrians for whom she lusted.
10 ସେମାନେ ତାହାର ଉଲଙ୍ଗତା ଅନାବୃତ କଲେ; ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ର ଓ କନ୍ୟାଗଣକୁ ନେଲେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନେ ଖଡ୍ଗରେ ବଧ କଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ସେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଉପହାସର ବିଷୟ ହେଲା; କାରଣ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହା ଉପରେ ଦଣ୍ଡାଜ୍ଞା ସଫଳ କଲେ।
They exposed her nakedness, seized her sons and daughters, and put her to the sword. Thus she became a byword among women, and they executed judgment against her.
11 ଆଉ, ତାହାର ଭଗିନୀ ଅହଲୀବା ଏହା ଦେଖିଲା; ତଥାପି ଆପଣା ପ୍ରେମାସକ୍ତିରେ ଓ ବେଶ୍ୟା କ୍ରିୟାରେ ତାହା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟା ହେଲା, ତାହାର ଭଗିନୀର ବେଶ୍ୟା କ୍ରିୟା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ତାହାର ବେଶ୍ୟା କ୍ରିୟା ଅଧିକ ଥିଲା।
Her sister Oholibah saw this, yet in her lust and prostitution she was more depraved than her sister.
12 ସେ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବାସୀ ଅଶୂରୀୟ ଦେଶାଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଓ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତୃଗଣ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରେମରେ ଆସକ୍ତା ହେଲା, ସେମାନେ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସୁନ୍ଦର ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରିହିତ, ଅଶ୍ୱାରୋହୀ ଓ ସମସ୍ତେ ମନୋହର ଯୁବା ଲୋକ ଥିଲେ।
She too lusted after the Assyrians—governors and commanders, warriors dressed in splendor, horsemen riding on steeds, all desirable young men.
13 ଆଉ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦେଖିଲୁ, ସେ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟା ହେଲା; ସେ ଦୁହେଁ ଏକ ପଥଗାମିନୀ ହେଲେ।
And I saw that she too had defiled herself; both of them had taken the same path.
14 ପୁଣି, ସେ ଆପଣା ବେଶ୍ୟା କ୍ରିୟା ବଢ଼ାଇଲା; କାରଣ ସେ କାନ୍ଥରେ ଚିତ୍ରିତ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, କଲ୍ଦୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ସିନ୍ଦୂରଚିତ୍ରିତ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ଦେଖିଲା,
But Oholibah carried her prostitution even further. She saw the men portrayed on the wall, images of the Chaldeans, engraved in vermilion,
15 ସେମାନଙ୍କ କଟିରେ ପଟୁକା ବନ୍ଧା, ମସ୍ତକରେ ରଙ୍ଗ ଚିତ୍ରିତ ଭୂଷଣ ଥିଲା, ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଦେଖିବାକୁ କଲ୍ଦୀୟ ଦେଶଜାତ ବାବିଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ରୂପବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଅଧିପତିଗଣର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଥିଲେ।
wearing belts on their waists and flowing turbans on their heads; all of them looked like officers of the Babylonians in Chaldea, the land of their birth.
16 ପୁଣି, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିବାମାତ୍ର ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରେମରେ ଆସକ୍ତା ହେଲା ଓ କଲ୍ଦୀୟ ଦେଶକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ବାର୍ତ୍ତାବାହକ ପଠାଇଲା।
At the sight of them, she lusted for them and sent messengers to them in Chaldea.
17 ତହିଁରେ ବାବିଲୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହାର ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ପ୍ରେମ ଶଯ୍ୟାରେ ଶୟନ କଲେ ଓ ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କର ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କ୍ରିୟା ଦ୍ୱାରା ତାହାକୁ ଅଶୁଚି କଲେ, ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟା ହେଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ତାହାର ପ୍ରାଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ବିମୁଖ ହେଲା।
Then the Babylonians came to her, to the bed of love, and in their lust they defiled her. But after she had been defiled by them, she turned away in disgust.
18 ଏହିରୂପେ ସେ ଆପଣା ବେଶ୍ୟା କ୍ରିୟା ପ୍ରକାଶ କଲା ଓ ଆପଣା ଉଲଙ୍ଗତା ଅନାବୃତ କଲା; ତହୁଁ ଆମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରାଣ ଯେପରି ତାହାର ଭଗିନୀଠାରୁ ବିମୁଖ ହୋଇଥିଲା, ସେହିପରି ତାହାଠାରୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ବିମୁଖ ହେଲା।
When Oholibah openly prostituted herself and exposed her nakedness, I turned away from her in disgust, just as I had turned away from her sister.
19 ତଥାପି ସେ ଆପଣା ଯୌବନ କାଳରେ ମିସର ଦେଶରେ ଯେଉଁ ବେଶ୍ୟା କର୍ମ କରିଥିଲା, ତାହା ସ୍ମରଣ କରି ଆପଣାର ବେଶ୍ୟା କ୍ରିୟା ବଢ଼ାଇଲା।
Yet she multiplied her promiscuity, remembering the days of her youth, when she had prostituted herself in the land of Egypt
20 ଆଉ, ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭଗଣର ପରି ମାଂସବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଓ ଅଶ୍ୱଗଣର ପରି ରେତଃବିଶିଷ୍ଟ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପପତିମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ସେ ଆସକ୍ତା ହେଲା।
and lusted after their lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of stallions.
21 ଏହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ମିସରୀୟମାନେ ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ଯୌବନକାଳୀନ ସ୍ତନ ବୋଲି ତୁମ୍ଭର କୁଚାଗ୍ର ଟିପିଥିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଯୌବନ କାଳର ସେହି ଲମ୍ପଟାଚରଣ ସ୍ମରଣ କରୁଅଛ।”
So you revisited the indecency of your youth, when the Egyptians caressed your bosom and pressed your young breasts.
22 ଏନିମନ୍ତେ ହେ ଅହଲୀବା, ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, “ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରାଣ ବିମୁଖ ହୋଇଅଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସେହି ପ୍ରେମିକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଉଠାଇବା ଓ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆଣିବା;
Therefore, Oholibah, this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will incite your lovers against you, those from whom you turned away in disgust. And I will bring them against you from every side—
23 ବାବିଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ସମୁଦାୟ କଲ୍ଦୀୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ, ପକୋଦ, ଶୋୟା, କୋୟା ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସମୁଦାୟ ଅଶୂରୀୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଆଣିବା; ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ମନୋହର ଯୁବା ଲୋକ। ଦେଶାଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଓ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା, ଅଧିପତିଗଣ ଓ ବିଖ୍ୟାତ ଲୋକ, ସମସ୍ତେ ଅଶ୍ୱାରୋହୀ।
the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, the men of Pekod, Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them—all desirable young men, governors and commanders, officers and men of renown, mounted on horses.
24 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଅସ୍ତ୍ରଶସ୍ତ୍ର, ରଥ, ଶକଟ ଓ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଗଣର ସମାଜ ନେଇ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆସିବେ; ସେମାନେ ସାନ ଓ ବଡ଼ ଢାଲ ଓ ଟୋପର ଧରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଜାଇବେ; ଆଉ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ବିଚାରର ଭାର ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବା ଓ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାରାନୁସାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଚାର କରିବେ।
They will come against you with a host of peoples, with weapons, chariots, and wagons. They will array themselves against you on every side with buckler and shield and helmet. I will delegate judgment to them, and they will punish you according to their own standards.
25 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଅନ୍ତର୍ଜ୍ୱାଳା ରଖିବା, ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ କୋପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ବ୍ୟବହାର କରିବେ; ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନାସିକା ଓ କର୍ଣ୍ଣ କାଟି ପକାଇବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଖଡ୍ଗରେ ପତିତ ହେବେ; ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପୁତ୍ରକନ୍ୟାଗଣକୁ ନେଇଯିବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଅଗ୍ନି ଦ୍ୱାରା ଗ୍ରାସିତ ହେବେ।
And I will set My jealous rage against you, and they will deal with you in fury. They will cut off your noses and ears, and your survivors will fall by the sword. They will seize your sons and daughters, and your remnant will be consumed by fire.
26 ସେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିବସ୍ତ୍ରା କରିବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସୁନ୍ଦର ଅଳଙ୍କାରସବୁ ନେଇଯିବେ।
They will strip off your clothes and take your fine jewelry.
27 ଏହିରୂପେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲମ୍ପଟାଚରଣ ଓ ମିସର ଦେଶରୁ ଶିକ୍ଷିତ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କ୍ରିୟା ନିବୃତ୍ତ କରାଇବା; ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଆଉ ଅନାଇବ ନାହିଁ, କି ମିସରକୁ ଆଉ ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
So I will put an end to your indecency and prostitution, which began in the land of Egypt, and you will not lift your eyes to them or remember Egypt anymore.’
28 କାରଣ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଘୃଣା କରୁଅଛ ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରାଣ ବିମୁଖ ହୋଇଅଛି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବା;
For this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Surely I will deliver you into the hands of those you hate, from whom you turned away in disgust.
29 ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ ଘୃଣା ଭାବରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ବ୍ୟବହାର କରିବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସକଳ ପରିଶ୍ରମର ଫଳ ହରଣ କରିବେ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉଲଙ୍ଗିନୀ ଓ ବିବସ୍ତ୍ର କରି ଛାଡ଼ି ଦେବେ; ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର ଘଟିତ ଉଲଙ୍ଗତା, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲମ୍ପଟାଚରଣ ଓ ବେଶ୍ୟା କ୍ରିୟା ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେବ।
They will treat you with hatred, take all for which you have worked, and leave you naked and bare, so that the shame of your prostitution will be exposed. Your indecency and promiscuity
30 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବେଶ୍ୟାର ନ୍ୟାୟ ଅନ୍ୟଦେଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ଅନୁଗାମିନୀ ହୋଇଅଛ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଅଶୁଚୀକୃତ ହୋଇଅଛ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଏହିସବୁ କରାଯିବ।
have brought these things upon you, because you have prostituted yourself with the nations and defiled yourself with their idols.
31 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାର ଭଗିନୀର ପଥରେ ଗମନ କରିଅଛ; ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ପାନପାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତରେ ଦେବା।
Because you have followed the path of your sister, I will put her cup into your hand.’
32 ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଭଗିନୀର ପାତ୍ରରେ ପାନ କରିବ, ତାହା ଗଭୀର ଓ ବଡ଼; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ହାସ୍ୟ ଓ ଉପହାସର ବିଷୟ ହେବ; ସେହି ପାତ୍ର ବହୁତ ଧାରଣ କରେ।
This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘You will drink your sister’s cup, a cup deep and wide. It will bring scorn and derision, for it holds so much.
33 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମତ୍ତତା ଓ ଶୋକରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେବ, ବିସ୍ମୟ ଓ ଧ୍ୱଂସରୂପ ପାତ୍ରରେ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭଗିନୀ ଶମରୀୟାର ପାତ୍ରରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେବ।
You will be filled with drunkenness and grief, with a cup of devastation and desolation, the cup of your sister Samaria.
34 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ନିଗାଡ଼ି ପାନ କରିବ ଓ ତହିଁର ଭଗ୍ନଖଣ୍ଡ ଚୋବାଇ ଆପଣା ସ୍ତନ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିବ; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହା କହିଅଛୁ, ଏହା ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି;
You will drink it and drain it; you will dash it to pieces, and tear your breasts. For I have spoken,’
35 ଏହେତୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ପାସୋରିଅଛ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପଛଆଡ଼େ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ପକାଇଅଛ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆପଣା ଲମ୍ପଟାଚରଣ ଓ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କ୍ରିୟାର ଭାର ବହନ କର।”
Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because you have forgotten Me and have cast Me behind your back, you must bear the consequences of your indecency and prostitution.’”
36 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆହୁରି ମୋତେ କହିଲେ, “ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ଅହଲାର ଓ ଅହଲୀବାର ବିଚାର କରିବ? ତେବେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ କ୍ରିୟାସବୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜ୍ଞାତ କରାଅ;
Then the LORD said to me: “Son of man, will you pass judgment against Oholah and Oholibah? Then declare to them their abominations.
37 କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ରକ୍ତ ଅଛି ଓ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣ ସହିତ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଜାତ ଆପଣା ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଗ୍ରାସିତ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଅଗ୍ନି ମଧ୍ୟଦେଇ ଗମନ କରାଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
For they have committed adultery, and blood is on their hands. They have committed adultery with their idols. They have even sacrificed their children, whom they bore to Me, in the fire as food for their idols.
38 ଆହୁରି, ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ଏକ ଦିନରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଧର୍ମଧାମ ଅଶୁଚି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଦିନସବୁ ଅପବିତ୍ର କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
They have also done this to Me: On that very same day, they defiled My sanctuary and profaned My Sabbaths.
39 କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ବଧ କଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେହି ଦିନ ଆମ୍ଭର ଧର୍ମଧାମ ଅପବିତ୍ର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟକୁ ଆସିଲେ; ଆଉ, ଦେଖ, ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଗୃହ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
On the very day they slaughtered their children for their idols, they entered My sanctuary to profane it. Yes, they did this inside My house.
40 ଆହୁରି, ଦୂରରୁ ଆସିବା ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଲୋକ ପଠାଇଅଛ; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଦୂତ ପ୍ରେରିତ ହେଲା, ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ସେମାନେ ଆସିଲେ; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ନାନ କଲ, ଚକ୍ଷୁରେ ଅଞ୍ଜନ ଦେଲ ଓ ଅଳଙ୍କାରରେ ଆପଣାକୁ ବିଭୂଷିତା କଲ;
Furthermore, you sisters sent messengers for men who came from afar; and behold, when they arrived, you bathed for them, painted your eyes, and adorned yourself with jewelry.
41 ପୁଣି, ରାଜକୀୟ ଶଯ୍ୟାରେ ବସି ତହିଁର ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ମେଜ ସଜାଇ ତାହା ଉପରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଧୂପ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ତୈଳ ରଖିଲ।
You sat on a couch of luxury with a table spread before it, on which you had set My incense and My oil,
42 ଆଉ, ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ନିଶ୍ଚିନ୍ତ ଲୋକସମୂହର କଳରବ ଥିଲା ଓ ସାଧାରଣ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସହିତ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରୁ ମଦ୍ୟପାୟୀମାନେ ଅଣାଗଲେ; ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ କଙ୍କଣ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମସ୍ତକରେ ସୁନ୍ଦର ମୁକୁଟ ପିନ୍ଧାଇଲେ।
accompanied by the sound of a carefree crowd. Drunkards were brought in from the desert along with men from the rabble, who put bracelets on your wrists and beautiful crowns on your head.
43 ତେବେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କ୍ରିୟାରେ ଜୀର୍ଣ୍ଣା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ବିଷୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ କହିଲୁ, ଏବେ ସେମାନେ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବେ ଓ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ କରିବ।
Then I said of her who had grown old in adulteries: ‘Now let them use her as a prostitute, for that is all she is!’
44 ପୁଣି, ଲୋକେ ଯେପରି ବେଶ୍ୟା ସହ ଶୟନ କରନ୍ତି, ସେହିପରି ସେମାନେ ତାହା ସହ ଶୟନ କଲେ; ଏହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ସେମାନେ ଅହଲା ଓ ଅହଲୀବା, ଏହି ଲମ୍ପଟା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହ ଶୟନ କଲେ।
And they slept with her as with a prostitute; they slept with Oholah and Oholibah, those lewd women.
45 ମାତ୍ର ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାରିଣୀ ଓ ରକ୍ତପାତକାରିଣୀ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାରାନୁସାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କରିବେ; ଯେହେତୁ ସେମାନେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାରିଣୀ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ରକ୍ତ ଅଛି।”
But righteous men will sentence them to the punishment of those who commit adultery and bloodshed, because they are adulteresses with blood on their hands.
46 କାରଣ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; “ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଜନସମାଜ ଆଣିବା, ପୁଣି, ଏଣେତେଣେ ଟଳଟଳ ଓ ଲୁଟିତ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବା।
This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Bring a mob against them and consign them to terror and plunder.
47 ପୁଣି, ସେହି ସମାଜ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରାଘାତ କରିବେ ଓ ଖଡ୍ଗରେ ବଧ କରିବେ; ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରକନ୍ୟାଗଣକୁ ବଧ କରିବେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗୃହସବୁ ଅଗ୍ନିରେ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରିବେ।
The mob will stone them and cut them down with their swords. They will kill their sons and daughters and burn down their houses.
48 ଏହିରୂପେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦେଶରୁ ଲମ୍ପଟାଚରଣ ନିବୃତ୍ତ କରାଇବା, ତହିଁରେ ସମୁଦାୟ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଲମ୍ପଟପଣ ଅନୁସାରେ ଆଚରଣ ନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ପାଇବେ।
So I will put an end to indecency in the land, and all the women will be admonished not to imitate your behavior.
49 ପୁଣି, ଲୋକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଲମ୍ପଟାଚରଣର ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତାଇବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ପାପସକଳର ଭାର ବୋହିବ; ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟୁ, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣିବ।”
They will repay you for your indecency, and you will bear the consequences of your sins of idolatry. Then you will know that I am the Lord GOD.’”
