ଯିହିଜିକଲ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦବକ୍ତାଙ୍କ ପୁସ୍ତକ 16

1 ପୁନର୍ବାର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା,

Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 “ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ତାହାର ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ କ୍ରିୟାସକଳ ଜଣାଅ,

Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,

3 ଆଉ କୁହ, ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି: ତୁମ୍ଭର ଉତ୍ପତ୍ତି ଓ ଜନ୍ମସ୍ଥାନ କିଣାନୀୟ ଦେଶ ଅଟେ; ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭର ପିତା ଇମୋରୀୟ ଓ ମାତା ଜଣେ ହିତ୍ତୀୟା ଥିଲା।

and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem: Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of the Canaanite; the Amorite was thy father, and thy mother was an Hittite.

4 ତୁମ୍ଭ ଜନ୍ମର ବିବରଣ ଏହି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜନ୍ମ ହେବା ଦିନ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନାଭି କଟା ହୋଇ ନ ଥିଲା, କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପରିଷ୍କାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଜଳରେ ସ୍ନାନ କରାଯାଇ ନ ଥିଲା; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲବଣରେ ମଖାଯାଇ ନ ଥିଲ, କିଅବା ପଟୀରେ ଗୁଡ଼ା ଯାଇ ନ ଥିଲ।

And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to cleanse thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.

5 ଏହିସବୁ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କୌଣସି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବା ପାଇଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଦୟା ବହିବା ପାଇଁ କେହି ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ସ୍ନେହ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ନ କଲା; ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜନ୍ମ ହେବା ଦିନ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଅବସ୍ଥା ସକାଶୁ ଖୋଲା ପଡ଼ିଆରେ ଫୋପଡ଼ା ଯାଇଥିଲ।

None eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, for that thy person was abhorred, in the day that thou wast born.

6 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟ ଦେଇ ଗଲୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ରକ୍ତରେ ଛଟପଟ ହେବାର ଦେଖିଲୁ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିଲୁ, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଜ ରକ୍ତରେ (ଲିପ୍ତ) ଥିଲେ ହେଁ ଜୀବିତ ହୁଅ; ହଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଜ ରକ୍ତରେ (ଲିପ୍ତ) ଥିଲେ ହେଁ ଜୀବିତ ହୁଅ;’ ଏହି କଥା ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିଲୁ।

And when I passed by thee, and saw thee weltering in thy blood, I said unto thee, [Though thou art] in thy blood, live; yea, I said unto thee, [Though thou art] in thy blood, live.

7 ଆମ୍ଭେ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଉଦ୍ଭିଦ ପରି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ କରାଇଲୁ, ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇ ଅତି ବଡ଼ ହୋଇ ଉଠିଲ ଓ ମହାଶୋଭାରୂପ ଅଳଙ୍କାର ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେଲ; ତୁମ୍ଭର ସ୍ତନଯୁଗଳ ସୁଡୌଲ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର କେଶ ଦୀର୍ଘ ହେଲା; ତଥାପି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବିବସନା ଓ ଉଲଙ୍ଗିନୀ ଥିଲ।

I caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou didst increase and wax great, and thou attainedst to excellent ornament; thy breasts were fashioned, and thine hair was grown; yet thou wast naked and bare.

8 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନିକଟ ଦେଇ ଗମନ କଲୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଅନାଇଲୁ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସେ ସମୟ ତ ପ୍ରେମର ସମୟ; ତହୁଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ଆପଣା ବସ୍ତ୍ରାଞ୍ଚଳ ପ୍ରସାରିଲୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଉଲଙ୍ଗତା ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କଲୁ; ହଁ, ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶପଥ କରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗେ ନିୟମ ସ୍ଥିର କଲୁ, ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭର ହେଲ।

Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.

9 ତହୁଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜଳରେ ସ୍ନାନ କରାଇଲୁ, ହଁ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରୂପେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦେହରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ରକ୍ତ ଧୋଇ ଦେଲୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୈଳରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମର୍ଦ୍ଦନ କଲୁ।

Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.

10 ଆହୁରି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିଚିତ୍ର ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପିନ୍ଧାଇଲୁ, ଶିଶୁକ ଚର୍ମର ପାଦୁକା ପିନ୍ଧାଇଲୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଭ୍ର କ୍ଷୌମବସ୍ତ୍ରରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର କଟିବନ୍ଧନ କରାଇଲୁ, ପୁଣି, ପଟ୍ଟବସ୍ତ୍ରରେ ବିଭୂଷିତା କଲୁ।

I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with sealskin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and covered thee with silk.

11 ଆହୁରି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅଳଙ୍କାରରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଭୂଷିତା କଲୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତରେ କଙ୍କଣ ଓ ଗଳଦେଶରେ ହାର ଦେଲୁ।

I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.

12 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାସିକାରେ ନଥ, କର୍ଣ୍ଣରେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣଭୂଷଣ ଓ ମସ୍ତକରେ ସୁନ୍ଦର ମୁକୁଟ ଦେଲୁ।

And I put a ring upon thy nose, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.

13 ଏରୂପେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସୁନା, ରୂପାରେ ବିଭୂଷିତା ହେଲ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଶୁଭ୍ର କ୍ଷୌମସୂତ୍ର, ପଟ୍ଟ ଦ୍ୱାରା ନିର୍ମିତ ଓ ଶିଳ୍ପକର୍ମରେ ବିଚିତ୍ର ହେଲା; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସରୁ ମଇଦା ଓ ମଧୁ ଓ ତୈଳ ଭୋଜନ କଲ। ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପରମାସୁନ୍ଦରୀ ହୋଇ ଅବଶେଷରେ ରାଣୀପଦ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲ।

Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper unto royal estate.

14 ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ସୌନ୍ଦର୍ଯ୍ୟର ସୁଖ୍ୟାତି ନାନା ଦେଶରେ ବ୍ୟାପିଲା; କାରଣ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଐଶ୍ୱର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯେଉଁ ସୌନ୍ଦର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଦେଇଥିଲୁ, ତାହା ସିଦ୍ଧ ଥିଲା।

And thy renown went forth among the nations for thy beauty; for it was perfect through my majesty which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.

15 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ସୌନ୍ଦର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରି ନିଜ ସୁଖ୍ୟାତି ସକାଶୁ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାରିଣୀ ହେଲ, ପୁଣି, ଯେକେହି ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟ ଦେଇ ଗଲା; ତାହା ଉପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବ୍ୟଭିଚାରରୂପ ଜଳ ଢାଳିଲ; ତାହା ତାହାର ଭୋଗ ହେଲା।

But thou didst trust in thy beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy whoredoms on every one that passed by; his it was.

16 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ବସ୍ତ୍ରର କିଛି କିଛି ନେଇ ଆପଣା ପାଇଁ ନାନା ରଙ୍ଗରେ ଭୂଷିତ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲ ଓ ତହିଁ ଉପରେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କ୍ରିୟା କଲ; ଏପରି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହେବ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ହେବାର ହିଁ ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ।

And thou didst take of thy garments, and madest for thee high places decked with divers colours, and playedst the harlot upon them: [the like things] shall not come, neither shall it be so.

17 ଆହୁରି, ଆମ୍ଭର ସୁନା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ରୂପାରେ ନିର୍ମିତ ଯେସକଳ ସୁନ୍ଦର ଆଭରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେଇଥିଲୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ନେଇ ପୁରୁଷାକୃତି ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କଲ;

Thou didst also take thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest for thee images of men, and didst play the harlot with them;

18 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ବିଚିତ୍ର ବସ୍ତ୍ରସବୁ ନେଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପିନ୍ଧାଇଲ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ତୈଳ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଧୂପ ରଖିଲ।

and thou tookest thy broidered garments, and coveredst them, and didst set mine oil and mine incense before them.

19 ମଧ୍ୟ ସରୁ ମଇଦା, ତୈଳ ଓ ମଧୁ, ଆଦି ଆମ୍ଭର ଯେଉଁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରତିପାଳନ କଲୁ, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସୌରଭାର୍ଥେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ରଖିଲ, ଆଉ ଏପ୍ରକାର ହୋଇଥିଲା, ଏହା ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।

My bread also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou didst even set it before them for a sweet savour, and [thus] it was; saith the Lord GOD.

20 ଆହୁରି, ଆମ୍ଭ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜନ୍ମ କରିଥିଲ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାର ସେହି ପୁତ୍ର ଓ କନ୍ୟାଗଣକୁ ନେଇ ଗ୍ରାସିତ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିଅଛ।

Moreover thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Were thy whoredoms a small matter,

21 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ବଧ କରିଅଛ ଓ ଅଗ୍ନିରେ ଗମନ କରାଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିଅଛ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଏହି ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କି କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ବିଷୟ?

that thou hast slain my children, and delivered them up, in causing them to pass through [the fire] unto them?

22 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାର ସକଳ ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଓ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କ୍ରିୟା କରିବା ବେଳେ ଆପଣା ଯୌବନାବସ୍ଥାର ସମୟ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବିବସନା, ଉଲଙ୍ଗିନୀ ଥିଲ ଓ ନିଜ ରକ୍ତରେ ଛଟପଟ ହେଉଥିଲ, ସେହି ସମୟକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରି ନାହଁ।

And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast weltering in thy blood.

23 ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଧିକ୍‍ ଧିକ୍‍! ତୁମ୍ଭର ଏହିସବୁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟାଚରଣ ଉତ୍ତାରେ,

And it is come to pass after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe unto thee! saith the Lord GOD, )

24 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରତିମା ପୂଜା କରିବାକୁ ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମନ୍ଦିର ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଅଛ ଓ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଛକରେ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଅଛ।

that thou hast built unto thee an eminent place, and hast made thee a lofty place in every street.

25 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ପଥ ମୁଣ୍ଡରେ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିଅଛ ଓ ଆପଣାର ସୌନ୍ଦର୍ଯ୍ୟକୁ ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ କରିଅଛ ଓ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ପଥିକ ପାଇଁ ଆପଣାର ପାଦଦ୍ୱୟ ଅନାବୃତ କରିଅଛ, ଆଉ ଆପଣାର ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କ୍ରିୟା ବଢ଼ାଇଅଛ।

Thou hast built thy lofty place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty an abomination, and hast opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredom.

26 ଆହୁରି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାର କାମୁକତା ପ୍ରତିବାସୀ, ମିସରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କରିଅଛ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆପଣା ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କ୍ରିୟା ବଢ଼ାଇଅଛ।

Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians, thy neighbours, great of flesh; and hast multiplied thy whoredom, to provoke me to anger.

27 ଏହେତୁ ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କରି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୈନିକ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଊଣା କରିଅଛୁ ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟାଚରଣରେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ଅଟନ୍ତି, ସେହି ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ କନ୍ୟାମାନଙ୍କ ଇଚ୍ଛାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲୁ।

Behold therefore, I have stretched out my hand over thee, and have diminished thine ordinary [food], and delivered thee unto the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, which are ashamed of thy lewd way.

28 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅତୃପ୍ତ ହେବାରୁ ଅଶୂରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କରିଅଛ; ହଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କଲେ ହେଁ ତୃପ୍ତା ହୋଇ ନାହଁ।

Thou hast played the harlot also with the Assyrians, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet thou wast not satisfied.

29 ଆହୁରି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କିଣାନ ଦେଶରେ କଲ୍‍ଦୀୟ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆପଣା ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କ୍ରିୟା ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରିଅଛ; ପୁଣି, ତହିଁରେ ହେଁ ତୃପ୍ତା ହୋଇ ନାହଁ।

Thou hast moreover multiplied thy whoredom in the land of Canaan, unto Chaldea; and yet thou wast not satisfied herewith.

30 ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭର ହୃଦୟ କିପରି ଦୁର୍ବଳ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ଵେଚ୍ଛାଚାରିଣୀ ବେଶ୍ୟା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପରି ଏହିସବୁ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିଅଛ।

How weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing thou doest all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman;

31 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ପଥ ମୁଣ୍ଡରେ ଆପଣା ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥାନ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରୁଅଛ ଓ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଛକରେ ମଞ୍ଚ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରୁଅଛ; ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବେଶ୍ୟା ପରି ନ ହୋଇ ଭଡ଼ା ତୁଚ୍ଛ କରିଅଛ।

in that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest thy lofty place in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire.

32 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାରିଣୀ ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା! ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତ ଆପଣା ସ୍ୱାମୀ ବଦଳରେ ଅଜଣା ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରୁଅଛ।

A wife that committeth adultery! that taketh strangers instead of her husband!

33 ଲୋକେ ବେଶ୍ୟାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭଡ଼ା ଦିଅନ୍ତି; ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରେମିକ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଭଡ଼ା ଦେଉଅଛ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବେଶ୍ୟାବୃତ୍ତି କ୍ରମେ ସେମାନେ ଯେପରି ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସନ୍ତି, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଲାଞ୍ଚ ଦେଉଅଛ।

They give gifts to all harlots: but thou gavest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and bribest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredoms.

34 ପୁଣି, ଅନ୍ୟ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ତୁମ୍ଭ ବେଶ୍ୟାବୃତ୍ତିର ପ୍ରଭେଦ ଏହି ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ କେହି ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍‍ଗାମୀ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ; ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭଡ଼ା ଦେଲେ ହେଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କିଛି ଭଡ଼ା ଦିଆଯାଏ ନାହିଁ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର କ୍ରିୟା ବିପରୀତ ଅଟେ।

And the contrary is in thee from [other] women in thy whoredoms, in that none followeth thee to commit whoredom: and whereas thou givest hire, and no hire is given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary.

35 ଏହେତୁ ହେ ବେଶ୍ୟା, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣ;

Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD:

36 ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଶୁଚିତା ଢଳା ଯାଇଅଛି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରେମିକଗଣର ସଙ୍ଗେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର ହେତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଉଲଙ୍ଗତା ଅନାବୃତ ହୋଇଅଛି, ଏଥିପାଇଁ, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ ସକଳ ଦେବତାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଯେଉଁ ରକ୍ତ ଦେଇଅଛ; ତହିଁ ସକାଶୁ;

Thus saith the Lord GOD, Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers; and because of all the idols of thy abominations, and for the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them;

37 ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ସନ୍ତୋଷ ପାଇଅଛ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସେହି ପ୍ରେମିକ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ, ଆଉ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରେମ କରିଅଛ ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଘୃଣା କରିଅଛ, ସେହି ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏକତ୍ର କରିବା; ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ର କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଆଗରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଉଲଙ୍ଗତା ଅନାବୃତ କରିବା, ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ ଉଲଙ୍ଗତା ଦେଖିବେ।

therefore behold, I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them against thee on every side, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.

38 ବିବାହ ନିୟମ ଲଙ୍ଘନକାରିଣୀ ଓ ରକ୍ତପାତକାରିଣୀ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଯେରୂପ ବିଚାରିତା ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ସେରୂପ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଚାର କରିବା ଏବଂ କୋପ ଓ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଜ୍ୱାଳାର ରକ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ କରିବା।

And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will bring upon thee the blood of fury and jealousy.

39 ଆମ୍ଭେ, ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବା, ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମନ୍ଦିର ସ୍ଥାନସବୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇବେ ଓ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀସବୁ ଉତ୍ପାଟନ କରିବେ; ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିବସନା କରି ତୁମ୍ଭର ସୁନ୍ଦର ଅଳଙ୍କାରସବୁ ହରଣ କରି ନେବେ; ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିବସନା ଓ ଉଲଙ୍ଗିନୀ କରି ଛାଡ଼ି ଦେବେ।

I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and break down thy lofty places; and they shall strip thee of thy clothes, and take thy fair jewels: and they shall leave thee naked and bare.

40 ଆହୁରି, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଏକ ସମାଜ ଆଣି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରାଘାତ କରିବେ ଓ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଖଡ୍ଗରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିନ୍ଧିବେ।

They shall also bring up an assembly against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords.

41 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗୃହସବୁ ଅଗ୍ନିରେ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରିବେ ଓ ଅନେକ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ଦଣ୍ଡାଜ୍ଞା ସଫଳ କରିବେ; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କ୍ରିୟାରୁ ନିବୃତ୍ତ କରାଇବା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆଉ ଭଡ଼ା ଦେବ ନାହିଁ।

And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women; and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou shalt also give no hire any more.

42 ଏହିରୂପେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଆମ୍ଭର କୋପ ଶାନ୍ତ ହେବ, ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭର ଅନ୍ତର୍ଜ୍ୱାଳା ଯିବ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ କ୍ଷାନ୍ତ ହୋଇ ଆଉ କ୍ରୋଧ କରିବା ନାହିଁ।

So will I satisfy my fury upon thee, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.

43 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଯୌବନାବସ୍ଥା ସ୍ମରଣ କରି ନାହଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଏହିସବୁ ବିଷୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କରିଅଛ, ଏହେତୁ ଦେଖ, ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ହିଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟର ଫଳ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମସ୍ତକରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତାଇବା, ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାର ସକଳ ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ କ୍ରିୟା ଉପରେ ଏପ୍ରକାର ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟାଚରଣ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।

Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all these things; therefore behold, I also will bring thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit [this] lewdness above all thine abominations.

44 ଦେଖ, ଯେକେହି ପ୍ରବାଦ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରେ, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଏହି ପ୍ରବାଦ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରିବ ଯଥା; ‘ମାତା ଯେସନ, କନ୍ୟା ତେସନ।’

Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use [this] proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.

45 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ମାତାର କନ୍ୟା, ସେ ଆପଣା ସ୍ୱାମୀକୁ ଓ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରେ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଜ ଭଗିନୀଗଣର ଭଗିନୀ, ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସ୍ୱାମୀକୁ ଓ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଘୃଣା କଲେ; ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମାତା ଜଣେ ହିତ୍ତୀୟା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପିତା ଜଣେ ଇମୋରୀୟ ଥିଲା।

Thou art thy mother’s daughter, that loatheth her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, which loathed their husbands and their children: your mother was an Hittite, and your father an Amorite.

46 ପୁଣି, ଶମରୀୟା ତୁମ୍ଭର ବଡ଼ ଭଗିନୀ, ସେ ଆପଣା କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ସହିତ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଗରେ ବାସ କରେ; ଆଉ, ସଦୋମ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସାନ ଭଗିନୀ, ସେ ଓ ତାହାର କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦିଗରେ ବାସ କରନ୍ତି।

And thine elder sister is Samaria, that dwelleth at thy left hand, she and her daughters: and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.

47 ତଥାପି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଥରେ ଗମନ କରି ନାହଁ, କିଅବା ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ କ୍ରିୟାନୁସାରେ କର୍ମ କରି ନାହଁ; ମାତ୍ର ତାହା ଅତି କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ଥିଲା ପରି ମନେ କରି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାର ସମସ୍ତ ଆଚାରବ୍ୟବହାରରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟା ହୋଇଅଛ।

Yet hast thou not walked in their ways, nor done after their abominations; but, as [if that were] a very little [thing], thou wast more corrupt than they in all thy ways.

48 ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ପ୍ରମାଣେ କହୁଅଛୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭଗିନୀ ସଦୋମ, ତାହାର କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ପରି କର୍ମ କରି ନାହାନ୍ତି।

As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.

49 ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭଗିନୀ ସଦୋମର ଏହି ଅଧର୍ମ ଥିଲା; ତାହାର ଓ ତାହାର କନ୍ୟାଗଣର ଅହଙ୍କାର, ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟର ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣତା ଓ ସମୃଦ୍ଧି ଜନିତ ଶାନ୍ତି ଥିଲା, ସେ ଦରିଦ୍ର ଓ ଦୀନହୀନଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତ ସବଳ କଲା ନାହିଁ।

Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom; pride, fulness of bread, and prosperous ease was in her and in her daughters; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

50 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଅହଙ୍କାରିଣୀ ଥିଲେ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ କ୍ରିୟା କଲେ; ଏହେତୁ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଯେପରି ଭଲ ଦିଶିଲା, ସେହିପରି ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୂର କଲୁ।

And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw [good].

51 ପୁଣି, ଶମରୀୟା ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାପର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧେକ ପାପ କରି ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଆପଣା ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ କ୍ରିୟା ଅଧିକ ବଢ଼ାଇଅଛ ଓ ଆପଣାର କୃତ ସକଳ ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ କ୍ରିୟା ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଭଗିନୀଗଣକୁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ପରି କରିଅଛ।

Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters by all thine abominations which thou hast done.

52 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଭଗିନୀଗଣର ପକ୍ଷରେ ବିଚାର ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି କରିବାରୁ ଆପଣା ଅପମାନ ଆପେ ଭୋଗ କର; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ତୁମ୍ଭର କୃତ ଅଧିକ ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ ପାପସମୂହ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଧାର୍ମିକ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ହଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଭଗିନୀଗଣକୁ ଧାର୍ମିକ କରିଅଛ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହୁଅ ଓ ଆପଣା ଅପମାନ ଭୋଗ କର।

Thou also, bear thine own shame, in that thou hast given judgment for thy sisters; through thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they, they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou also confounded, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters.

53 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବନ୍ଦୀତ୍ୱାବସ୍ଥା, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ସଦୋମ ଓ ତାହାର କନ୍ୟାଗଣର ବନ୍ଦୀତ୍ୱାବସ୍ଥା, ଶମରୀୟା ଓ ତାହାର କନ୍ୟାଗଣର ବନ୍ଦୀତ୍ୱାବସ୍ଥା, ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବନ୍ଦୀଗଣର ବନ୍ଦୀତ୍ୱାବସ୍ଥା ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିବା;

And I will turn again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, and the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them:

54 ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଅପମାନ ଭୋଗ କରିବ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନା ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହୋଇ ଯାହା ଯାହା କରିଅଛ, ସେହି ସବୁ ସକାଶୁ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେବ।

that thou mayest bear thine own shame, and mayest be ashamed because of all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort unto them.

55 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭଗିନୀଗଣ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ସଦୋମ ଓ ତାହାର କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପୂର୍ବ ଦଶା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେବେ, ଶମରୀୟା ଓ ତାହାର କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପୂର୍ବ ଦଶା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେବେ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପୂର୍ବ ଦଶା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେବ।

And thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, and thou and thy daughters shall return to your former estate.

56 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆତ୍ମପ୍ରଶଂସାର ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଭଗିନୀ ସଦୋମର ନାମ ମୁଖରେ ଆଣି ନ ଥିଲ।

For thy sister Sodom was not mentioned by thy mouth in the day of thy pride;

57 ସେହି ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୁଷ୍ଟତା ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇ ନ ଥିଲା, ପାଇଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ତୁଚ୍ଛକାରିଣୀ ଅରାମର କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ଓ ତାହାର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗ ନିବାସିନୀ ସମସ୍ତେ, ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କର କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ଚାରି ଦିଗରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅପମାନ କଲେ।

before thy wickedness was discovered, as at the time of the reproach of the daughters of Syria, and of all that are round about her, the daughters of the Philistines, which do despite unto thee round about.

58 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର ଓ ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ କ୍ରିୟାର ଭାର ବହନ କରିଅଛ।

Thou hast borne thy lewdness and thine abominations, saith the LORD.

59 କାରଣ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶପଥ ଅବଜ୍ଞା କରି ନିୟମ ଯେପରି ଭଗ୍ନ କରିଅଛ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ସେହିରୂପ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରିବା।

For thus saith the Lord GOD: I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.

60 ତଥାପି ତୁମ୍ଭ ଯୌବନାବସ୍ଥାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଆମ୍ଭ କୃତ ନିୟମ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଏକ ନିୟମ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା।

Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.

61 ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଭଗିନୀଗଣକୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ବଡ଼ ଓ ସାନ ଭଗିନୀଗଣକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବ, ସେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଆଚାର ବ୍ୟବହାର ସ୍ମରଣ କରି ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେବ; ଆଉ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କନ୍ୟା ରୂପେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେବା, ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭର ନିୟମାନୁକ୍ରମେ ନୁହେଁ।

Then shalt thou remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder [sisters] and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.

62 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଆପଣା ନିୟମ ସ୍ଥିର କରିବା; ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟୁ, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣିବ।

And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD:

63 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାହା ଯାହା କରିଅଛ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସେହି ସବୁ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଆମ୍ଭେ କ୍ଷମା କରିବା, ସେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ମରଣ କରି ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେବ ଓ ନିଜ ଅପମାନ ହେତୁ ଆଉ କେବେ ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ଫିଟାଇବ ନାହିଁ।” ଏହା ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।

that thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more, because of thy shame; when I have forgiven thee all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD.
