ଯିହିଜିକଲ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦବକ୍ତାଙ୍କ ପୁସ୍ତକ 14

1 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପ୍ରାଚୀନବର୍ଗଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କେତେକ ଜଣ ମୋʼ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ମୋʼ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ବସିଲେ।

And men of the eldris of Israel camen to me, and saten bifor me.

2 ସେତେବେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା,

And the word of the Lord was maad to me, and he seide, Sone of man,

3 “ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନ, ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଦେବତାକୁ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ହୃଦୟକୁ ନେଇଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ଅଧର୍ମଜନକ ବିଘ୍ନ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ରଖିଅଛନ୍ତି; ଆମ୍ଭେ କି କୌଣସିମତେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରିବାକୁ ଦେବା?

these men han set her vnclennesses in her hertis, and han set stidfastli the sclaundre of her wickidnesse ayens her face. Whether Y `that am axid, schal answere to hem?

4 ଏହେତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହ, ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶର ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକ ଆପଣା ଦେବତାକୁ ଆପଣା ହୃଦୟକୁ ନିଏ ଓ ଆପଣାର ଅଧର୍ମଜନକ ବିଘ୍ନ ଆପଣା ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ରଖେ, ଆଉ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍‍ବକ୍ତା ନିକଟକୁ ଆସେ; ସେହି ଲୋକକୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାର ଦେବତାଗଣର ବାହୁଲ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ତଦ୍‍ବିଷୟରେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବା;

For this thing speke thou to hem, and thou schalt seie to hem, These thingis seith the Lord God, A man, a man of the hous of Israel, that settith hise vnclennessis in his herte, and settith stidfastli the sclaundre of his wickidnesse ayens his face, and cometh to the profete, and axith me bi hym, Y the Lord schal answere to hym in the multitude of hise vnclennessis;

5 ଏହିରୂପେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ହୃଦୟରୂପ ଫାନ୍ଦରେ ଧରିବା, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଦେବଗଣ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ବିମୁଖ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି।

that the hous of Israel be takun in her herte, bi which thei yeden awei fro me in alle her idols.

6 ଏହେତୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶକୁ କୁହ, ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଫେର, ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଦେବଗଣଠାରୁ ବିମୁଖ ହୁଅ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ କ୍ରିୟାରୁ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ଫେରାଅ।

Therfor seie thou to the hous of Israel, The Lord God seith these thingis, Be ye conuertid, and go ye awei fro youre idols, and turne awei youre faces fro alle youre filthis.

7 କାରଣ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶର ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରବାସକାରୀଗଣର ଯେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକ ଆମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଆପଣାକୁ ପୃଥକ କରେ ଓ ଆପଣା ଦେବଗଣକୁ ଆପଣା ହୃଦୟକୁ ନିଏ ଓ ଆପଣାର ଅଧର୍ମଜନକ ବିଘ୍ନ ଆପଣା ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ରଖେ, ଆଉ ଆପଣା ବିଷୟ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍‍ବକ୍ତା ନିକଟକୁ ଆସେ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପେ ତାହାକୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବା।

For whi a man, a man of the hous of Israel, and of conuersis, who euer is a comelyng in Israel, if he is alienyd fro me, and settith hise idols in his herte, and settith stidfastli the sclaundir of his wickidnesse ayens his face, and he cometh to the profete, to axe me bi hym, Y the Lord schal answere hym bi my silf.

8 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେ ଲୋକର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ରଖିବା ଓ ତାହାକୁ ଚିହ୍ନ ଓ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତର ନିମନ୍ତେ ବିସ୍ମୟାସ୍ପଦ କରିବା, ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ତାହାକୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିବା; ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟୁ, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣିବ।

And Y schal sette my face on that man, and Y schal make hym in to ensaumple, and in to a prouerbe, and Y schal leese hym fro the myddis of my puple; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.

9 ଆଉ, ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍‍ବକ୍ତା ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହୋଇ ଯଦି କୌଣସି କଥା କହେ, ତେବେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍‍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରାଇଅଛୁ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କରିବା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ତାହାକୁ ବିନଷ୍ଟ କରିବା।

And whanne a profete errith, and spekith a word, Y the Lord schal disseyue that profete; and Y schal stretche forth myn hond on hym, and Y schal do hym awei fro the myddis of my puple Israel.

10 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଅଧର୍ମର ଭାର ବୋହିବେ; ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍‍ବକ୍ତାର ଅଧର୍ମ ଓ ତାହାର ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣକାରୀର ଅଧର୍ମ ଏକ ସମାନ ହେବ;

And thei schulen bere her wickidnesse; bi the wickidnesse of the axere, so the wickidnesse of the profete schal be;

11 ତହିଁରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶ ଆମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଆଉ ବିପଥଗାମୀ ହେବେ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ସକଳ ଆଜ୍ଞାଲଙ୍ଘନ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନେ ଆଉ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଶୁଚି କରିବେ ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକ ହେବେ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ହେବା, ଏହା ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।”

that the hous of Israel erre no more fro me, nether be defoulid in alle her trespassyngis; but that it be in to a puple to me, and Y be in to a God to hem, seith the Lord of oostis.

12 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା,

And the word of the Lord was maad to me, and he seide,

13 “ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନ, କୌଣସି ଦେଶ ସତ୍ୟ-ଲଙ୍ଘନ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପାପ କଲେ, ଯେତେବେଳେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କରୁ, ତାହାର ଅନ୍ନରୂପ ଯଷ୍ଟି ଭାଙ୍ଗୁ ଓ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟକୁ ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ପଠାଉ, ପୁଣି ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଓ ପଶୁକୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରୁ;

Sone of man, whanne the lond synneth ayens me, that it trespassynge do trespas, Y schal stretche forth myn hond on it, and Y schal al to-breke the yerde of breed therof; and Y schal sende hungur in to it, and Y schal sle of it man and beeste.

14 ସେତେବେଳେ ନୋହ, ଦାନିୟେଲ ଓ ଆୟୁବ, ଏହି ତିନି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଯଦି ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଥାʼନ୍ତେ, ତେବେ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଧାର୍ମିକତା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାଣ ମାତ୍ର ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତେ, ଏହା ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।

And if these thre men Noe, Danyel, and Job, ben in the myddis therof, thei bi her riytfulnesse schulen delyuere her soulis, seith the Lord of oostis.

15 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ଦେଶ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ହିଂସ୍ରକ ପଶୁଗଣକୁ ଗତାୟାତ କରାଉ, ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ତାହା ଏରୂପ ବିନଷ୍ଟ କରନ୍ତି ଯେ, ଦେଶ ଧ୍ୱଂସର ସ୍ଥାନ ହୁଏ ଓ ପଶୁମାନଙ୍କ ଭୟରେ କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗତାୟାତ ନ କରେ;

That if also Y brynge in worste beestis on the lond, that Y distrie it, and if it is with out weie, for that no passer is for the beestis,

16 ତେବେ ଏହି ତିନି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଥିଲେ ହେଁ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ପ୍ରମାଣେ ସେମାନେ ପୁତ୍ର କି କନ୍ୟାଗଣକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରି ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ; କେବଳ ସେମାନେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ପାଇବେ, ମାତ୍ର ଦେଶ ଧ୍ୱଂସସ୍ଥାନ ହେବ।

and these thre men, that `ben bifore seid, ben therynne, Y lyue, seith the Lord God, for thei schulen nethir delyuere sones, nether douytris, but thei aloone schulen be deliuered; forsothe the lond schal be maad desolat.

17 ଅଥବା ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ସେହି ଦେଶ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଆଣୁ, ଆଉ ଆଜ୍ଞା କରୁ, ‘ହେ ଖଡ୍ଗ, ଦେଶ ମଧ୍ୟଦେଇ ଗମନ କର’ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଓ ପଶୁକୁ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରୁ,

Ethir if Y brynge in swerd on that lond, and Y seie to the swerd, Passe thou thorouy the lond, and Y sle of it man and beeste,

18 ତେବେ ଏହି ତିନି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଥିଲେ ହେଁ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ପ୍ରମାଣେ ସେମାନେ ପୁତ୍ର କିମ୍ବା କନ୍ୟାଗଣକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରି ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର କେବଳ ନିଜେ ନିଜେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେବେ।

and these thre men ben in the myddis therof, Y lyue, seith the Lord God, that thei schulen not delyuere sones nether douytris, but thei aloone schulen be delyuered.

19 ଅଥବା ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ସେହି ଦେଶକୁ ମହାମାରୀ ପଠାଉ, ଆଉ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଓ ପଶୁକୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତହିଁ ଉପରେ ଆମ୍ଭର କୋପ ଢାଳି ରକ୍ତ ବହାଉ;

Forsothe if Y brynge in also pestilence on that lond, and Y schede out myn indignacioun on it in blood, that Y do awei fro it man and beeste,

20 ତେବେ ନୋହ, ଦାନିୟେଲ ଓ ଆୟୁବ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଥିଲେ ହେଁ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ପ୍ରମାଣେ ସେମାନେ ପୁତ୍ର କିମ୍ବା କନ୍ୟାକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରି ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ; ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଧାର୍ମିକତା ଦ୍ୱାରା କେବଳ ନିଜ ନିଜ ପ୍ରାଣ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବେ।

and Noe, and Danyel, and Joob, ben in the myddis therof, Y lyue, seith the Lord God, for thei schulen not delyuere a sone and a douyter, but thei bi her riytfulnesse schulen delyuere her soulis.

21 କାରଣ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ଆମ୍ଭେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଓ ପଶୁଗଣକୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଖଡ୍ଗ, ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ, ହିଂସ୍ରକ ପଶୁ ଓ ମହାମାରୀ, ଆମ୍ଭର ଏହି ଚାରି ମହାଦଣ୍ଡ ପଠାଇବା, ସେତେବେଳେ ଆଉ କେତେ ଅଧିକ ନ ଘଟିବ?

For the Lord God seith these thingis, That thouy Y sende in my foure worste domes, swerd, and hungur, and yuele beestis, and pestilence, in to Jerusalem, that Y sle of it man and beeste,

22 ତଥାପି ଦେଖ, ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପୁତ୍ର ଓ କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ଉଭୟର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶ ରହି ବାହାରେ ଅଣାଯିବେ; ଦେଖ, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଆଚାର ବ୍ୟବହାର ଓ କ୍ରିୟାସକଳ ଦେଖିବ; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ଉପରେ ଯେଉଁ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଘଟାଇଅଛୁ, ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ଯେସକଳ ବର୍ତ୍ତାଇଅଛୁ, ତହିଁ ବିଷୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନା ପାଇବ।

netheles saluacioun of hem that leden out sones and douytris, schal be left ther ynne. Lo! thei schulen go out to you, and ye schulen se the weie of hem, and the fyndyngis of hem; and ye schulen be coumfortid on the yuel, which Y brouyte in on Jerusalem, in alle thingis whiche Y bar in on it.

23 ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନା କରିବେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଆଚାର ବ୍ୟବହାର ଓ କ୍ରିୟା ଦେଖିଲେ ଜାଣିବ ଯେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯାହା ଯାହା କରିଅଛୁ, ସେହି ସବୁ ଅକାରଣରେ କରି ନାହୁଁ, ଏହା ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।”

And thei schulen coumforte you, whanne ye schulen se the weie of hem and the fyndyngis of hem; and ye schulen knowe, that not in veyn Y dide alle thingis, what euer thingis Y dide there ynne, seith the Lord almyyti.
