ଯିହିଜିକଲ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦବକ୍ତାଙ୍କ ପୁସ୍ତକ 13
1 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା ଏବଂ ପୁଣି ସେ ମୋତେ କହିଲେ,
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
2 “ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନ, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଯେଉଁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କର; ଆଉ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ନିଜ ହୃଦୟରୁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହ, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣ;’
Son of man. prophesy against the prophets of Israel, who are prophesying, —and say unto them who prophesy out of their own heart, Hear ye the word of Yahweh,
3 ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁ ମୂଢ଼ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନେ କିଛି ଦର୍ଶନ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ନ ହୋଇ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଆତ୍ମାର ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ଗମନ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ସନ୍ତାପର ପାତ୍ର।
Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, Alas for the base prophets, —who follow their own spirit and have seen, nothing.
4 ହେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନେ ଉଜଡ଼ା ସ୍ଥାନର ବିଲୁଆ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
As jackals, among ruins, thy prophets O Israel have been.
5 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରାଚୀରର ଭଗ୍ନସ୍ଥାନର ଉପରକୁ ଯାଇ ନାହଁ, କିଅବା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦିନରେ ସଂଗ୍ରାମରେ ଠିଆ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶ ପାଇଁ ବେଢ଼ା ଦୃଢ଼ କରି ନାହଁ।
Ye have not gone up into the breaches, Nor built a wall about the house of Israel, - to stand in the battle in the day of Yahweh.
6 ‘ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି’ ବୋଲି ଯେଉଁମାନେ କହନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଅସାର ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ମିଥ୍ୟା ମନ୍ତ୍ର ପଢ଼ିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆଉ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇ ନାହାନ୍ତି; ପୁଣି, ବାକ୍ୟ ସିଦ୍ଧ ହେବ ବୋଲି ସେମାନେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଶା ଜନ୍ମାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି।
They have had Visions of falsehood, and Divinations of lies, Who say. Declareth Yahweh, when, Yahweh, hath not sent them, — Yet have they waited for a fulfilling of the word.
7 ଆମ୍ଭେ କଥା ନ କହିଲେ ହେଁ, ‘ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି’ ବୋଲି କହୁଅଛ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କି ଅସାର ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇ ନାହଁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କି ମିଥ୍ୟା ମନ୍ତ୍ର ଉଚ୍ଚାରଣ କରି ନାହଁ?”
Is it not a Vision of falsehood, ye have seen, and a Divination of lies, ye have spoken, Since ye are saying. Declareth Yahweh! when I have not spoken?
8 ଏହେତୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅସାର ବାକ୍ୟ କହିଅଛ ଓ ମିଥ୍ୟା ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇଅଛ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳ ଅଟୁ, ଏହା ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।
Therefore Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Because ye have spoken falsehood, And have had visions of lies, Therefore behold me! against you, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
9 ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନେ ଅସାର ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଆନ୍ତି ଓ ମିଥ୍ୟା ମନ୍ତ୍ର ପଢ଼ନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭର ହସ୍ତ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳ ହେବ; ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସଭାରେ ରହିବେ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶର ବଂଶାବଳୀ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେମାନେ ଲିଖିତ ହେବେ ନାହିଁ, ଅଥବା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଦେଶରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ; ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟୁ, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣିବ।
So then my hand shall be against the prophets who have Visions of falsehood and who divine Divinations of lies— In the council of my people, shall they not be found. And in the register of the house of Israel, shall they not be written, And Upon the so of Israel, shall they not enter, — So shall ye know that, I, am The Lord Yahweh,
10 ଶାନ୍ତି ନ ଥିଲେ ହେଁ ସେମାନେ ‘ଶାନ୍ତି’ ଅଛି ବୋଲି କହି ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୁଲାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି; ଆଉ, କେହି କାନ୍ଥ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ ଦେଖ, ସେମାନେ ଅମିଶ୍ରିତ ମସଲାରେ ତାହା ଲେପନ କରନ୍ତି,
Because, yea, even because, they have led astray my people saying. Prosperity! when there was no prosperity, —and one man, was building a partition wall, when there they were! eating it with whitewash
11 ଏଥିପାଇଁ, ବିଶେଷ ରୂପେ ଅମିଶ୍ରିତ ମସଲାରେ କାନ୍ଥ ଲେପନକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହ ଯେ, ତାହା ପଡ଼ିଯିବ; ପ୍ଲାବନକାରୀ ବୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବ; ହେ ବୃହତ ଶିଳାସକଳ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବ ଓ ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡ ବାୟୁ ତାହା ବିଦାରଣ କରିବ।
Say thou unto them who are coating with whitewash It shall fall, - There hath come an overflowing rain And I will make hail-stones fall, And a tempestuous wind shall break it down.
12 ଦେଖ, କାନ୍ଥ ଯେତେବେଳେ ପଡ଼ିଯିବ, ସେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କି କୁହା ନ ଯିବ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯାହା ଦେଇ ଲେପନ କରିଥିଲ, ସେହି ପ୍ରଲେପ କାହିଁ?
Lo! when the wall hath fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the coating, wherewith ye coated it?
13 ଏହେତୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା କୋପରେ ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡ ବାୟୁ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତାହା ବିଦାରଣ କରିବା; ଆମ୍ଭ କ୍ରୋଧରେ ପ୍ଲାବନକାରୀ ବୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବ ଓ କୋପରେ ବୃହତ ବୃହତ ଶିଳାବୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇ ତାହା ବିନଷ୍ଟ କରିବ।
Therefore Thus saith my Lord, Yahweh, So will I break down with a tempestuous wind. in mine indignation, — And an overflowing rain in mine anger, shall there be, With hailstones in wrath to make an end;
14 ଏହିରୂପେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅମିଶ୍ରିତ ମସଲାରେ ଯେଉଁ କାନ୍ଥ ଲେପନ କରିଅଛ, ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭେ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇବା ଓ ତାହା ଭୂମିସାତ୍ କରିବା, ତହିଁରେ ତାହାର ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଳ ଅନାବୃତ ହେବ; ଆଉ, ତାହା ପଡ଼ିଯିବ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହେବ; ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟୁ, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣିବ।
And I will pull down the wall which ye have coated with whitewash And will bring it unto the ground So shall be discovered its foundation, Yea it shall fall And ye shall come to an end in the midst thereof, So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh.
15 ଏହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେହି କାନ୍ଥ ଉପରେ ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅମିଶ୍ରିତ ମସଲାରେ ତାହା ଲେପନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଆପଣା କୋପ ସଫଳ କରିବା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବା, ସେହି କାନ୍ଥ ଆଉ ନାହିଁ ଓ ତାହା ଲେପନକାରୀମାନେ,
Thus will I bring to an end mine indignation against the wall, and against them who were coating it with whitewash, And will say to you No more is the wall, And no more are they who were coating it:
16 ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ବିଷୟରେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଶାନ୍ତି ନ ଥିଲେ ହେଁ ତାହା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଶାନ୍ତିର ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଆନ୍ତି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସେହି ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନେ ଆଉ ନାହାନ୍ତି, ଏହା ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।
to wit the prophets of Israel who are prophesying unto Jerusalem, and are seeing, on her behalf, visions of prosperity, — when there is no prosperity, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
17 ଆଉ ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଲୋକଙ୍କର ଯେଉଁ କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ହୃଦୟରୁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ରଖ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କରି କୁହ,
And thou, Son of man Set thy face against the daughters of thy people, Those who are prophesying out of their own heart, — And prophesy thou against them;
18 ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ ପ୍ରାଣ ମୃଗୟାର୍ଥେ ସବୁ କହୁଣୀ ଉପରେ ମୁଚୁଳା ସିଲାଇ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ସର୍ବଆକୃତିର ଲୋକଙ୍କ ମସ୍ତକ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆବରଣୀ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ସନ୍ତାପର ପାତ୍ରୀ! ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କି ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ମୃଗୟା କରି ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାଣ ଜୀଅନ୍ତା ରଖିବ?
and say, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Alas! for the women Who sew oracle, cases on all elbows And prepare wraps upon the head of every stature to hunt souls, — the souls ye hunt, are those of my people, Whereas your own souls: , ye keep alive.
19 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭର ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ମିଥ୍ୟା କଥା ଶୁଣନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିଥ୍ୟା କଥା କହି, ବଧର ଅଯୋଗ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ବଧ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଓ ବଞ୍ଚିବାର ଅଯୋଗ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ଜୀବିତ ରଖିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୁଠିଏ ମୁଠିଏ ଯବ ଓ ଖଣ୍ଡିଏ ଖଣ୍ଡିଏ ରୁଟି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଅଶୁଚି କରିଅଛ।
Thus have ye profaned me unto my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, Putting to death the souls that should not die, and Keeping alive the souls that should not live, — By your lying to my people, who hearken to lies
20 ଏହେତୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ଯେଉଁ ମୁଚୁଳା ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରାଣୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଡ଼ାଇ ଶିକାର କରୁଅଛ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତହିଁର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳ ଅଟୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଭୁଜରୁ ସେହି ସବୁ ମୁଚୁଳା ଚିରି ପକାଇବା; ଆଉ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରାଣୀମାନଙ୍କୁ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରାଣୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଡ଼ାଇ ମୃଗୟା କରୁଅଛ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିଦେବା।
Therefore, Thus saith my Lord Yahweh, Behold me! against your oracle-cases wherewith ye are hunting the souls to make them fly, And I will tear them off your arms, And let go the souls of them whose souls ye are hunting as birds;
21 ମଧ୍ୟ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଆବରଣୀ ଚିରି ପକାଇବା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା, ସେମାନେ ମୃଗୟାକୃତ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତଗତ ହେବେ ନାହିଁ; ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟୁ, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣିବ।
And will tear off your wraps, And deliver my people out of your hand, And they shall be no longer in your hand to be hunted; - So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh.
22 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକକୁ ବିଷଣ୍ଣ କରି ନାହୁଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମିଥ୍ୟା କଥା ଦ୍ୱାରା ତାହାର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣକୁ ଦୁଃଖାର୍ତ୍ତ କରିଅଛ, ପୁଣି, ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକ ବଞ୍ଚିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେପରି ଆପଣା କୁପଥରୁ ଫେରିବ ନାହିଁ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତାହାର ହସ୍ତ ସବଳ କରିଅଛ;
Because of the paining of the heart of the righteous man with falsehood, whom, I, have not pained, — And strengthening the hands of the lawless man, that he should not turn from his wicked way. by letting him live
23 ଏସକାଶୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅସାର ଦର୍ଶନ ଆଉ ଦେଖିବ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ମନ୍ତ୍ର ପଢ଼ିବ ନାହିଁ; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା; ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟୁ, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣିବ।”
Therefore—of falsehood: , shall ye have no vision, And a divination: , shall ye not divine any more, — So will I deliver my people out of your hand, And ye shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
