ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଲିଖିତ ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ପୁସ୍ତକ 7
1 ତହୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଫାରୋ ନିକଟରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁଲ୍ୟ କରି ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କଲୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭ୍ରାତା ହାରୋଣ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ହେବ।
Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Behold, I have made you as God to Pharaoh; and Aaron [Light-bringer] your brother shall be your prophet.
2 ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯାହା ଯାହା ଆଜ୍ଞା କରିବା, ତାହାସବୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହିବ; ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭ୍ରାତା ହାରୋଣ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଆପଣା ଦେଶରୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ଯିବାକୁ ଫାରୋଙ୍କୁ କହିବ।
You shall speak all that I enjoin you; and Aaron [Light-bringer] your brother shall speak to Pharaoh, that he let the children of Israel [God prevails] go out of his land.
3 ଆଉ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଫାରୋର ହୃଦୟ କଠିନ କରିବା, ପୁଣି, ମିସର ଦେଶରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଚିହ୍ନ ଓ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟକର୍ମ ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ କରିବା।
I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery].
4 ତଥାପି ଫାରୋ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କଥାରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; ଏହେତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ମିସର ଦେଶ ଉପରେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ଥୋଇ ମହାଦଣ୍ଡ ଦ୍ୱାରା ମିସରଠାରୁ ଆପଣା ସୈନ୍ୟସାମନ୍ତ, ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିବା।
But Pharaoh will not sh'ma ·hear obey· you, and I will lay my hand on Egypt [Abode of slavery], and bring out my armies, my people the children of Israel [God prevails], out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery] by great judgments.
5 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ମିସର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିବା ବେଳେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତାହା ସେମାନେ ଜାଣିବେ।”
The Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] shall know that I am Adonai, when I stretch out my hand on Egypt [Abode of slavery], and bring out the children of Israel [God prevails] from among them.”
6 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୋଶା ଓ ହାରୋଣ ସେହିରୂପ କଲେ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ସେମାନେ କର୍ମ କଲେ।
Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer] did so. As Adonai enjoined them, so they did.
7 ଫାରୋଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗରେ କଥୋପକଥନ କରିବା ବେଳେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ ଅଶୀ ଓ ହାରୋଣଙ୍କୁ ତେୟାଅଶୀ ବର୍ଷ ହୋଇଥିଲା।
Moses [Drawn out] was eighty years old, and Aaron [Light-bringer] eighty-three years old, when they spoke to Pharaoh.
8 ଆଉ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶା ଓ ହାରୋଣଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out] and to Aaron [Light-bringer], saying,
9 “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ‘କୌଣସି ଚିହ୍ନ ଦେଖାଅ’ ବୋଲି ଯଦି ଫାରୋ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବ, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ହାରୋଣକୁ କହିବ, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭର ଯଷ୍ଟି ନେଇ ଫାରୋ ଅଗ୍ରତେ ତଳେ ପକାଅ; ତହିଁରେ ସେହି ଯଷ୍ଟି ସର୍ପ ହେବ।’”
“When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, ‘Perform a miracle!’ then you shall tell Aaron [Light-bringer], ‘Take your rod, and cast it down before Pharaoh, that it become a serpent.’”
10 ତହୁଁ ମୋଶା ଓ ହାରୋଣ ଫାରୋଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଇ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ପ୍ରମାଣେ କର୍ମ କଲେ; ପୁଣି, ହାରୋଣ, ଫାରୋ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଦାସମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଆପଣା ଯଷ୍ଟି ତଳେ ପକାନ୍ତେ, ତାହା ସର୍ପ ହେଲା।
Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer] went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, as Adonai had enjoined: and Aaron [Light-bringer] cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.
11 ତେବେ ଫାରୋ ଆପଣା ପଣ୍ଡିତ ଓ ଗୁଣିଆମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡାକିଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ମିସରୀୟ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଜ୍ଞମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ମାୟାରେ ସେହିପରି କଲେ।
Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers. They also, the magicians of Egypt [Abode of slavery], did the same thing with their enchantments.
12 ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଯଷ୍ଟି ପକାନ୍ତେ, ସେଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସର୍ପ ହେଲା; ମାତ୍ର ହାରୋଣଙ୍କ ଯଷ୍ଟି ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ଯଷ୍ଟିକୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କଲା।
For they each cast down their rods, and they became serpents: but Aaron [Light-bringer]’s rod swallowed up their rods.
13 ତହିଁରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ହୃଦୟ କଠିନ ହେଲା ଓ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ କଥାରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କଲେ ନାହିଁ।
Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he didn’t sh'ma ·hear obey· them; as Adonai had spoken.
14 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଫାରୋର ହୃଦୟ କଠିନ ହୋଇଅଛି, ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯିବାକୁ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ମନା କରୁଅଛି।
Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Pharaoh’s heart is stubborn. He refuses to let the people go.
15 ଏହେତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରଭାତରେ ଫାରୋ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଅ; ଦେଖ, ସେ ଜଳ ଆଡ଼େ ଗଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ସହିତ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବାକୁ ନୀଳ ନଦୀ ତୀରରେ ଠିଆ ହୁଅ; ଯେଉଁ ଯଷ୍ଟି ସର୍ପ ହୋଇଥିଲା, ତାହା ମଧ୍ୟ ହସ୍ତରେ ନିଅ।
Go to Pharaoh in the morning. Behold, he goes out to the water; and you shall stand by the river’s bank to meet him; and the rod which was turned to a serpent you shall take in your hand.
16 ପୁଣି, ଫାରୋକୁ କୁହ, ‘ଏବ୍ରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମୋତେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ପଠାଇ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରେ ସେବା କରିବାକୁ ଛାଡ଼ିଦିଅ; ମାତ୍ର ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଏହି କଥାରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କରି ନାହଁ।
You shall tell him, ‘Adonai, the God of the Hebrews [Immigrants], has sent me to you, saying, “Let my people go, that they may abad ·serve· me in the wilderness:” and behold, until now you haven’t sh'ma ·heard obeyed·.
17 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି ପ୍ରକାରେ କହୁଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏତଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଜ୍ଞାତ ହେବ; ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତସ୍ଥିତ ଏହି ଯଷ୍ଟି ଦ୍ୱାରା ନଦୀର ଜଳ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରହାର କରିବା, ତହିଁରେ ତାହା ରକ୍ତ ହୋଇଯିବ।
Adonai says, “In this you shall know that I am Adonai. Behold, I will strike with the rod that is in my hand on the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.
18 ପୁଣି, ନଦୀରେ ଥିବା ମତ୍ସ୍ୟସକଳ ମରିଯିବେ ଓ ନଦୀ ଦୁର୍ଗନ୍ଧ ହେବ; ତହିଁରେ ମିସରୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ନଦୀର ଜଳ ପାନ କରିବାକୁ ଘୃଣା କରିବେ।’”
The fish that are in the river shall die, and the river shall become foul; and the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] shall loathe to drink water from the river.”’”
19 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ହାରୋଣକୁ ଏହି କଥା କୁହ, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଯଷ୍ଟି ଘେନି ମିସର ଦେଶୀୟ ଜଳ ଉପରେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ତହିଁର ନଦୀ, ନାଳ, ପୁଷ୍କରିଣୀ ଓ ଜଳାଶୟ, ଏସମସ୍ତ ଉପରେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କର, ତହିଁରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଜଳ ରକ୍ତ ହେବ; ପୁଣି, ମିସର ଦେଶର ସର୍ବତ୍ର କାଷ୍ଠ ପାତ୍ର ଓ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ପାତ୍ରରେ ହେଁ ରକ୍ତ ହେବ।’”
Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Tell Aaron [Light-bringer], ‘Take your rod, and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt [Abode of slavery], over their rivers, over their streams, and over their pools, and over all their ponds of water, that they may become blood; and there shall be blood throughout all the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery], both in wood buckets and in stone jars.’”
20 ତହୁଁ ମୋଶା ଓ ହାରୋଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ସେହି ପ୍ରକାର କଲେ; ସେ ଯଷ୍ଟି ଘେନି ଫାରୋ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଦାସମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ନଦୀର ଜଳ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରହାର କଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ସମୁଦାୟ ନଦୀର ଜଳ ରକ୍ତ ହୋଇଗଲା।
Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer] did so, as Adonai enjoined; and he lifted up the rod, and struck the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.
21 ପୁଣି, ନଦୀର ସମସ୍ତ ମତ୍ସ୍ୟ ମଲେ ଓ ନଦୀ ଦୁର୍ଗନ୍ଧ ହେଲା, ତହିଁରେ ମିସରୀୟମାନେ ନଦୀର ଜଳ ପାନ କରି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ; ମିସର ଦେଶର ସର୍ବତ୍ର ରକ୍ତ ହେଲା।
The fish that were in the river died; and the river became foul, and the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] couldn’t drink water from the river; and the blood was throughout all the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery].
22 ସେତେବେଳେ ମିସରୀୟ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଜ୍ଞମାନେ ହେଁ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ମାୟାରେ ସେହିପରି କଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ହୃଦୟ କଠିନ ହେଲା ଓ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ କଥାରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କଲେ ନାହିଁ।
The magicians of Egypt [Abode of slavery] did the same thing with their enchantments; and Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he didn’t sh'ma ·hear obey· them; as Adonai had spoken.
23 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଫାରୋ ମୁଖ ଫେରାଇ ଆପଣା ଗୃହକୁ ଗଲେ, ଏଥିରେ ଆପଣା ମନ ଦେଲେ ନାହିଁ।
Pharaoh turned and went into his house, and he didn’t even take this to heart.
24 ପୁଣି, ସମସ୍ତ ମିସରୀୟ ଲୋକେ ନଦୀର ଜଳ ପାନ କରି ନ ପାରିବାରୁ ପିଇବା ଜଳ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନଦୀର ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ଖୋଳିଲେ।
All the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] dug around the river for water to drink; for they couldn’t drink the river water.
25 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ନଦୀକୁ ଆଘାତ କଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସାତ ଦିନ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଲା।
Seven days were fulfilled, after Adonai had struck the river.
