ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଲିଖିତ ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ପୁସ୍ତକ 6
1 ସେତେବେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ଫାରୋ ପ୍ରତି ଯାହା କରିବା, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏବେ ଦେଖିବ; କାରଣ ବାହୁ ବଳ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେଲେ, ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯିବାକୁ ଦେବ ଓ ବାହୁ ବଳ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେଲେ, ଆପଣା ଦେଶରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ତଡ଼ି ଦେବ।”
But the Lord told Moses, “Now you'll see what I'm going to do to Pharaoh. Using my great strength I will force him to let them go; because of my power he will send them out from his country.”
2 ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଆଳାପ କରି ଆହୁରି କହିଲେ, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯିହୋବାଃ (ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ);
God spoke to Moses and told him, “I am Yahweh!
3 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅବ୍ରହାମ, ଇସ୍ହାକ ଓ ଯାକୁବଙ୍କୁ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ବୋଲି ଦର୍ଶନ ଦେଇଥିଲୁ, ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଯିହୋବାଃ ନାମରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିଚୟ ଦେଇ ନ ଥିଲୁ।
I revealed myself as God Almighty to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, but they didn't know my name, ‘Yahweh.’
4 ପୁଣି, କିଣାନ ଦେଶ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଯହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରବାସ କଲେ, ସେହି ପ୍ରବାସ-ଦେଶ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେବା ବୋଲି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ନିୟମ ସ୍ଥିର କରିଥିଲୁ।
I also confirmed my solemn agreement with them to give them the land of Canaan, the country where they were living as foreigners.
5 ଏବେ ମିସରୀୟମାନେ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦାସତ୍ୱରେ ରଖିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେହି ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଆର୍ତ୍ତନାଦ ଶୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାର ସେହି ନିୟମ ସ୍ମରଣ କରିଅଛୁ।
In addition I've heard the groans of the Israelites that the Egyptians are treating as slaves, and I haven't forgotten the agreement I promised them.
6 ଏନିମନ୍ତେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ କୁହ, ‘ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିସରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଭାରବହନରୁ ନିସ୍ତାର କରିବା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦାସତ୍ୱରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବା, ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ବିସ୍ତୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବାହୁ ଓ ମହା ମହା ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା।
So tell the Israelites, ‘I am the Lord and I will save you from the forced labor the Egyptians are making you do; I will set you free from being their slaves. I will rescue you using my power and imposing heavy punishments.
7 ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ଲୋକ ରୂପେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ହେବା; ତହିଁରେ ମିସରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଭାରବହନରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ନିସ୍ତାରକାରୀ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟୁ, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣିବ।
I will make you my own people. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from slavery in Egypt.
8 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅବ୍ରହାମ, ଇସ୍ହାକ ଓ ଯାକୁବଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଦେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ଉଠାଇଅଛୁ, ସେହି ଦେଶକୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘେନିଯିବା; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅଧିକାରାର୍ଥେ ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେବା; ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟୁ।’”
I will take you to the land that I solemnly promised to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I will give it to you to own. I am the Lord!’”
9 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୋଶା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ତଦନୁସାରେ କହିଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ମନୋଦୁଃଖ ଓ କଠିନ ଦାସତ୍ୱ ସକାଶୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କଲେ ନାହିଁ।
Moses explained this to the Israelites but they did not listen to him, because they were so discouraged and because of the hard labor they were forced to do.
10 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
Then the Lord said to Moses,
11 “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାଇ ମିସରର ରାଜା ଫାରୋକୁ କୁହ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦେଶରୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଯିବାକୁ ଦିଅ।”
“Go and speak to Pharaoh, king of Egypt. Tell him to let the Israelites leave his country.”
12 ତହିଁରେ ମୋଶା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଛାମୁରେ କହିଲେ, “ଦେଖନ୍ତୁ, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମୋʼ କଥାରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କରି ନାହାନ୍ତି; ତେବେ ଉତ୍ତମ ବକ୍ତା ଯେ ମୁଁ ନୁହେଁ, ମୋʼ କଥା ଫାରୋ କିପରି ଶୁଣିବେ?”
But Moses replied, “Even my own people don't listen to me. Why would Pharaoh listen to me, especially since I'm such a poor speaker?”
13 ଏହିରୂପେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶା ଓ ହାରୋଣଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଆଳାପ କଲେ, ପୁଣି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ମିସର ଦେଶରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମିସର ରାଜା ଫାରୋଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ନିକଟରେ ବକ୍ତବ୍ୟ କଥା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା କଲେ।
But the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, and told them what to do regarding the people of Israel and Pharaoh, king of Egypt, in order to bring the Israelites out of Egypt.
14 ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପିତୃବଂଶ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଥିଲେ। ଇସ୍ରାଏଲଙ୍କର ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠ ପୁତ୍ର ରୁବେନ୍ର ସନ୍ତାନ ହନୋକ, ପଲ୍ଲୁ, ହିଷ୍ରୋଣ ଓ କର୍ମି; ଏମାନେ ରୁବେନ୍ର ବଂଶ।
These were the Israelite family heads. The sons of Reuben, the firstborn son of Israel, were Hanok and Pallu, Hezron and Karmi. These were the families of Reuben.
15 ପୁଣି, ଶିମୀୟୋନର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିମୂୟେଲ, ଯାମୀନ୍, ଓହଦ୍, ଯାଖୀନ୍, ସୋହର ଓ କିଣାନୀୟା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀର ପୁତ୍ର ଶୌଲ; ଏମାନେ ଶିମୀୟୋନର ବଂଶ ଅଟନ୍ତି।
The sons of Simeon were Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul, (the son of a Canaanite woman). These were the families of Simeon.
16 ବଂଶାବଳୀ ଅନୁସାରେ ଲେବୀର ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ନାମ ଗେର୍ଶୋନ, କହାତ ଓ ମରାରି; ଲେବୀର ବୟସ ଶହେ ସଇଁତିରିଶ ବର୍ଷ ଥିଲା।
These were the names of the sons of Levi according to their genealogical records: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. Levi lived for 137 years.
17 ପୁଣି, ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବଂଶାନୁସାରେ ଗେର୍ଶୋନର ସନ୍ତାନ ଲିବ୍ନି ଓ ଶିମୀୟି।
The sons of Gershon, by families, were Libni and Shimei.
18 ପୁଣି, କହାତର ସନ୍ତାନ ଅମ୍ରାମ୍, ଯିଷ୍ହର, ହିବ୍ରୋଣ ଓ ଉଷୀୟେଲ; ସେହି କହାତର ଶହେ ତେତିଶ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ ହୋଇଥିଲା।
The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. Kohath lived for 133 years.
19 ମରାରିର ସନ୍ତାନ ମହଲି ଓ ମୂଶି; ଏମାନେ ବଂଶାବଳୀ ଅନୁସାରେ ଲେବୀର ବଂଶ ଅଟନ୍ତି।
The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. These were the families of the Levites according to their genealogical records.
20 ପୁଣି, ଅମ୍ରାମ୍ ଆପଣା ପିଉସୀ ଯୋକେବଦକୁ ବିବାହ କରନ୍ତେ, ସେ ତାହାର ଔରସରେ ହାରୋଣଙ୍କୁ ଓ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରସବ କଲା; ସେହି ଅମ୍ରାମ୍ର ଆୟୁ ଶହେ ସଇଁତିରିଶ ବର୍ଷ ଥିଲା।
Amram married his father's sister Jochebed, and she had their sons Aaron and Moses. Amram lived for 137 years.
21 ଯିଷ୍ହରର ସନ୍ତାନ କୋରହ, ନେଫଗ୍ ଓ ସିଖ୍ରି।
The sons of Izhar were Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri.
22 ପୁଣି, ଉଷୀୟେଲର ସନ୍ତାନ ମୀଶାୟେଲ ଓ ଇଲୀଷାଫନ୍ ଓ ସିଥ୍ରି।
The sons of Uzziel were Mishael, Elzaphan, and Sithri.
23 ପୁଣି, ହାରୋଣ ଅମ୍ମୀନାଦବର କନ୍ୟା ନହଶୋନର ଭଗିନୀ ଇଲୀଶେବାକୁ ବିବାହ କଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ଔରସରେ ନାଦବ୍, ଅବୀହୂ, ଇଲୀୟାସର ଓ ଈଥାମରକୁ ପ୍ରସବ କଲା।
Aaron married Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab and sister of Nahshon. She had their sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
24 ପୁଣି, କୋରହର ସନ୍ତାନ ଅସୀର ଓ ଇଲ୍କାନା ଓ ଅବୀୟାସଫ; ଏମାନେ କୋରହର ବଂଶ ଅଟନ୍ତି।
The sons of Korah were Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph. These were the Korahite families.
25 ପୁଣି, ହାରୋଣଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲୀୟାସର ଫୂଟୀୟେଲର ଏକ କନ୍ୟାକୁ ବିବାହ କରନ୍ତେ, ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ଔରସରେ ପୀନହସ୍କୁ ପ୍ରସବ କଲା, ଏମାନେ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ବଂଶଭେଦାନୁସାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପିତୃବଂଶ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଥିଲେ।
Eleazar, son of Aaron, married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she had their son Phinehas. These are the ancestors of the Levite families, listed according to their clans. Eleazar son of Aaron married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she gave birth to his son, Phinehas. These are the heads of the Levite families, listed by family.
26 ଏହି ଯେ ହାରୋଣ ଓ ମୋଶା, ଏମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସୈନ୍ୟଶ୍ରେଣୀବଦ୍ଧ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ମିସର ଦେଶରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣ।”
Aaron and Moses mentioned here are the ones the Lord told, “Lead the Israelites out of Egypt, divided up in their respective tribes.”
27 ଏମାନେ ମିସରରୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ ମିସରର ରାଜା ଫାରୋଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କରିଥିଲେ। ଏମାନେ ସେହି ମୋଶା ଓ ହାରୋଣ।
Moses and Aaron were also the ones who went to speak with Pharaoh, king of Egypt, about the Israelites leaving Egypt.
28 ଯେଉଁ ଦିନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମିସର ଦେଶରେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଆଳାପ କଲେ,
When the Lord spoke to Moses in Egypt,
29 ସେହି ଦିନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ ଏହି କଥା କହିଲେ, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯାହା ଯାହା କହୁ; ତାହାସବୁ ମିସରୀୟ ରାଜା ଫାରୋକୁ କୁହ।”
he said to him, “I am the Lord. Tell Pharaoh, king of Egypt, all that I tell you.”
30 ତହିଁରେ ମୋଶା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ କହିଥିଲେ, “ମନ୍ଦ ବକ୍ତା ଯେ ମୁଁ, ମୋʼ କଥା ଫାରୋ କିପ୍ରକାରେ ଶୁଣିବେ?”
But Moses replied, “I'm not a good speaker—why would Pharaoh listen to me?”
