ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଲିଖିତ ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ପୁସ୍ତକ 4

1 ଏଥିରେ ମୋଶା ଉତ୍ତର କଲେ, “ଦେଖନ୍ତୁ, ସେମାନେ ମୋତେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ ଓ ମୋʼ ରବରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ କହିବେ, ‘ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦର୍ଶନ ଦେଇ ନାହାନ୍ତି?’”

Moyses answeride, and seide, The comyns schulen not bileue to me, nether thei schulen here my vois; but thei schulen seie, The Lord apperide not to thee.

2 ତେବେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତରେ କʼଣ ଅଛି?” ସେ କହିଲେ, “ଯଷ୍ଟି।”

Therfor the Lord seide to hym, What is this that thou holdist in thin hond? Moises answeride, A yerde.

3 ତହୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, “ତାକୁ ଭୂମିରେ ପକାଅ।” ତେଣୁ ସେ ତାକୁ ଭୂମିରେ ପକାନ୍ତେ, ତାହା ସର୍ପ ହେଲା; ତହିଁରେ ମୋଶା ତାହା ଆଗରୁ ପଳାଇଗଲେ।

And the Lord seide, Caste it forth into erthe; and he castide forth, and it was turned in to a serpent, so that Moises fledde.

4 ସେତେବେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ଅବ୍ରହାମର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ଇସ୍‌ହାକର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଓ ଯାକୁବର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦର୍ଶନ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି,” ଏହା ଯେପରି ସେମାନେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିବେ,

And the Lord seide, Holde forth thin hond, and take the tail therof; he stretchide forth, and helde, and it was turned in to a yerde.

5 “ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବଢ଼ାଇ ତାହାର ଲାଞ୍ଜ ଧର,” ତହିଁରେ ସେ ହସ୍ତ ବଢ଼ାଇ ତାକୁ ଧରନ୍ତେ, ତାଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ସେ ଯଷ୍ଟି ହେଲା।

And the Lord seide, That thei bileue, that the Lord God of thi fadris apperide to thee, God of Abraham, and God of Isaac, and God of Jacob.

6 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଆହୁରି କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବକ୍ଷସ୍ଥଳରେ ଦିଅ।” ତହିଁରେ ସେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବକ୍ଷସ୍ଥଳରେ ଦେଇ ପୁନର୍ବାର ହସ୍ତ ବାହାର କଲେ, ଦେଖ, ତାଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତ ହିମବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ତୁଲ୍ୟ କୁଷ୍ଠଯୁକ୍ତ ହେଲା।

And the Lord seide eft, Putte thin hond in to thi bosum; and whanne he hadde put it in to the bosum, he brouyte forth it leprouse, at the licnesse of snow.

7 ଏଥିରେ ସେ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବକ୍ଷସ୍ଥଳରେ ଦିଅ;” ସେମାନେ ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ନ କରିବେ

The Lord seide, Withdrawe thin hond in to thi bosum; he withdrow, and brouyte forth eft, and it was lijc the tother fleisch.

8 ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସେହି ପ୍ରଥମ ଚିହ୍ନରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ ନ କରିବେ, ତେବେ ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ଚିହ୍ନରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିବେ। ତହିଁରେ ସେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବକ୍ଷସ୍ଥଳରେ ଦେଇ ବାହାର କଲେ, ଦେଖ, ତାହା ପ୍ରକୃତ ମାଂସ ହେଲା।

The Lord seide, If thei schulen not bileue to thee, nether schulen here the word of the formere signe, thei schulen bileue to the word of the signe suynge;

9 ଏହି ଦୁଇ ଚିହ୍ନରେ ଯଦି ସେମାନେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ନ କରିବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ରବରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ ନ କରିବେ, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନୀଳ ନଦୀରୁ ଜଳ କିଛି ନେଇ ଶୁଷ୍କ ଭୂମିରେ ଢାଳ; ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନଦୀରୁ ଯେଉଁ ଜଳ ଆଣିବ, ତାହା ଶୁଷ୍କ ଭୂମିରେ ରକ୍ତ ହେବ।

that if thei bileuen not sotheli to these twei signes, nether heren thi vois, take thou watir of the flood, and schedde out it on the drie lond, and what euer thing thou schalt drawe vp of the flood, it schal be turned in to blood.

10 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୋଶା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ, ଏ ସମୟ ପୂର୍ବରେ, ଅବା ଆପଣ ନିଜ ଦାସ ସହିତ ଆଳାପ କଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ହେଁ ମୁଁ ବାକ୍ୟପତି ନୁହେଁ। ମୁଁ ବାକ୍ୟରେ ଧୀର ଓ ଜଡ଼ଜିହ୍ୱ ଅଟେ।”

Moises seide, Lord, Y biseche, Y am `not eloquent fro yistirdai and the thridde dai ago; and sithen thou hast spokun to thi seruaunt, Y am of more lettid and slowere tunge.

11 ତହିଁରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ମୁଖ କିଏ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି? ପୁଣି, ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ ମୂକ ବା ବଧିର ଅବା ଦୃଷ୍ଟିବିଶିଷ୍ଟ କିଅବା ଦୃଷ୍ଟିହୀନ କିଏ କରନ୍ତି? ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କି ତାହା ନ କରୁ?

The Lord seide to hym, Who made the mouth of man, ether who made a doumb man and `deef, seynge and blynd? whether not Y?

12 ଏଣୁ ଏବେ ଯାଅ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମୁଖର ସହବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହୋଇ ବକ୍ତବ୍ୟ କଥା ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଶିଖାଇବା।”

Therfor go thou, and Y schal be in thi mouth, and Y schal teche thee what thou schalt speke.

13 ତହିଁରେ ସେ କହିଲେ, “ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୁଁ ବିନୟ କରୁଅଛି, ଯାହା ଦ୍ୱାରା ପଠାଇବାର ହୁଏ, ତାହା ଦ୍ୱାରା ପଠାନ୍ତୁ।”

And he seide, Lord, Y biseche, sende thou whom thou schalt sende.

14 ତହିଁରେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର କ୍ରୋଧ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ହେଲା; ତେଣୁ ସେ କହିଲେ, “ଲେବୀୟ ହାରୋଣ କି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭାଇ ନୁହେଁ? ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣୁ, ସେ ସୁବକ୍ତା। ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବାକୁ ଆସୁଅଛି; ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେଖି ହୃଷ୍ଟଚିତ୍ତ ହେବ।

And the Lord was wrooth ayens Moises, and seide, Y woot, that Aaron, thi brother, of the lynage of Leuy, is eloquent; lo! he schal go out in to thi comyng, and he schal se thee, and schal be glad in herte.

15 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ କହିବ ଓ ତାହାର ମୁଖରେ ବାକ୍ୟ ଦେବ; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମୁଖର ଓ ତାହା ମୁଖର ସହବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହୋଇ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟ କର୍ମର ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେବା।

Speke thou to hym, and putte thou my wordis in his mouth, and Y schal be in thi mouth, and in the mouth of hym; and Y schal schewe to you what ye owen to do.

16 ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରତିନିଧି-ବକ୍ତା ହେବ; ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମୁଖ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେବ।

He schal speke for thee to the puple, and he schal be thi mouth; forsothe thou schalt be to him in these thingis, that perteynen to God.

17 ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତରେ ଏହି ଯଷ୍ଟି ଘେନ, ଯେଣୁ ଏହା ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଚିହ୍ନ ଦେଖାଇବ।”

Also take thou this yerde in thin hond, in which thou schalt do myraclis.

18 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୋଶା ଆପଣା ଶ୍ୱଶୁର ଯିଥ୍ରୋ ନିକଟକୁ ବାହୁଡ଼ି ଯାଇ କହିଲେ, “ମୁଁ ବିନୟ କରୁଅଛି, ମିସରସ୍ଥିତ ମୋହର ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ନିକଟକୁ ଏବେ ଫେରିଯିବା ପାଇଁ ଓ ସେମାନେ ଆଜିଯାଏ ବଞ୍ଚିଅଛନ୍ତି କି ନାହିଁ, ତାହା ଦେଖିବା ପାଇଁ ମୋତେ ଯିବାକୁ ଦିଅ।” ତହିଁରେ ଯିଥ୍ରୋ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “କୁଶଳରେ ଯାଅ।”

Moises yede, and turnede ayen to Jetro, his wyues fadir, and seide to hym, Y schal go, and turne ayen to my britheren in to Egipt, that Y se, whether thei lyuen yit. To whom Jetro seide, Go thou in pees.

19 ଆଉ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମିଦୀୟନରେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଥିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମିସରକୁ ଫେରିଯାଅ; ଯେହେତୁ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରାଣ ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କରୁଥିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ମରିଅଛନ୍ତି।”

Therfor the Lord seide to Moyses in Madian, Go thou, and turne ayen into Egipt; for alle thei ben deed that souyten thi lijf.

20 ତହୁଁ ମୋଶା ଆପଣା ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା ଓ ପୁତ୍ରଗଣକୁ ଗଧ ଉପରେ ଚଢ଼ାଇ ମିସର ଦେଶକୁ ଫେରିଗଲେ; ପୁଣି, ସେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ସେହି ଯଷ୍ଟି ନେଲେ।

Moises took his wijf, and hise sones, and puttide hem on an asse, and he turnede ayen in to Egipt, and bar the yerde of God in his hond.

21 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ସାବଧାନ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମିସରକୁ ଫେରିଗଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତରେ ଯେସବୁ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟକର୍ମ କରିବାକୁ ଦେଇଅଛୁ, ତାହା ଫାରୋ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ କରିବ; ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ମନ କଠିନ କରିବା; ତହିଁରେ ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯିବାକୁ ଦେବ ନାହିଁ।”

And the Lord seide to hym turnynge ayen in to Egipt, Se, that thou do alle wondris, whiche Y haue put in thin hond, bifore Farao; Y schal make hard his herte, and he schal not delyuere the puple; and thou schalt seie to hym,

22 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଫାରୋକୁ କହିବ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, “ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଆମ୍ଭର ପୁତ୍ର; ଆମ୍ଭର ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠ ପୁତ୍ର;

The Lord seith these thingis, My firste gendrid sone is Israel;

23 ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିଅଛୁ, ‘ଆମ୍ଭର ସେବା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭ ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ଛାଡ଼ିଦିଅ; ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ଛାଡ଼ିବାକୁ ନାସ୍ତି କରିଅଛ; ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୁତ୍ରକୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠ ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ବଧ କରିବା।’”

Y seide to thee, delyuere thou my sone, that he serue me, and thou noldist delyuere hym; lo! Y schal sle thi firste gendrid sone.

24 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ପଥ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଉତ୍ତରଣୀୟ ଗୃହରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପାଇ ବଧ କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କଲେ।

And whanne Moises was in the weie, in an yn, the Lord cam to him, and wolde sle hym.

25 ସେତେବେଳେ ସିପ୍ପୋରା ଏକ ତୀକ୍ଷ୍ଣ ଅସ୍ତ୍ର ଘେନି ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ସୁନ୍ନତ କରି ତାହା ତାଙ୍କ ଚରଣ ତଳେ ପକାଇ କହିଲା, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିତାନ୍ତ ମୋହର ରକ୍ତପ୍ରିୟ ବର।”

Sefora took anoon a moost scharp stoon, and circumcidide the yerde of hir sone; and sche towchide `the feet of Moises, and seide, Thou art an hosebonde of bloodis to me.

26 ଏହିରୂପେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାଙ୍କୁ ଛାଡ଼ିଦେଲେ। ତହିଁରେ ସେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଲା, “ସୁନ୍ନତପ୍ରଯୁକ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ରକ୍ତପ୍ରିୟ ବର ଅଟ।”

And he lefte hym, aftir that sche hadde seid, Thou art an hosebonde of bloodis to me for circumcisioun.

27 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ହାରୋଣଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋଶା ସହିତ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରକୁ ଯାଅ।” ତହୁଁ ସେ ଯାଇ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପର୍ବତରେ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରି ତାଙ୍କୁ ଚୁମ୍ବନ କଲେ।

Forsothe the Lord seide to Aaron, Go thou in to the comyng of Moises in to deseert; which yede ayens Moises in to the hil of God, and kisside him.

28 ସେତେବେଳେ ମୋଶା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରେରିତ ସମସ୍ତ ବାକ୍ୟ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାର୍ପିତ ସମସ୍ତ ଚିହ୍ନ ହାରୋଣଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇଲେ।

And Moises telde to Aaron alle the wordis of the Lord, for whiche he hadde sent Moises; and `he telde the myraclis, whiche the Lord hadde comaundid.

29 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୋଶା ଓ ହାରୋଣ ଯାଇ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାଚୀନବର୍ଗକୁ ଏକତ୍ର କଲେ।

And thei camen togidere, and gaderiden alle the eldere men of the sones of Israel.

30 ପୁଣି, ହାରୋଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କଥିତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମସ୍ତ ବାକ୍ୟ କହିଲେ, ପୁଣି, ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ସେହି ସମସ୍ତ ଚିହ୍ନ ପ୍ରକାଶ କଲେ।

And Aaron spak alle the wordis, whiche the Lord hadde seid to Moises, and he dide the signes bifore the puple;

31 ତହିଁରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କଲେ, ପୁଣି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ତତ୍ତ୍ୱାବଧାନ କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦୁଃଖ ଦେଖିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଏହା ଶୁଣି ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ମସ୍ତକ ନତ କରି ଉପାସନା କଲେ।

and the puple bileuede; and thei herden, that the Lord hadde visitid the sones of Israel, and that he hadde biholde the turment of hem; and thei worschipiden lowe.
