ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଲିଖିତ ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ପୁସ୍ତକ 34
1 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପୂର୍ବ ପରି ଦୁଇ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ପଟା ଖୋଳ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ପଟା ଭାଙ୍ଗିଅଛ, ତହିଁ ଉପରେ ଯାହା ଯାହା ଲେଖାଥିଲା, ସେହି ସବୁ କଥା ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ଦୁଇ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରରେ ଲେଖିବା।
And YHWH says to Moses, “Hew for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and I have written on the tablets the words which were on the first tablets which you have broken;
2 ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରାତଃକାଳରେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହୁଅ ଓ ପ୍ରାତଃକାଳରେ ସୀନୟ ପର୍ବତ ଆରୋହଣ କରି ସେଠାରେ ପର୍ବତ ଶୃଙ୍ଗରେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୁଅ।
and be prepared at morning, and you have come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and have stood before Me there, on the top of the mountain,
3 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଆଉ କେହି ଉପରକୁ ଆସିବେ ନାହିଁ, ପୁଣି, ଏହି ସମୁଦାୟ ପର୍ବତରେ କେହି ଦେଖା ନ ଯିବେ ଓ ଗୋମେଷାଦି ପଲ ମଧ୍ୟ ଏହି ପର୍ବତ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଚରିବେ ନାହିଁ।”
and no man comes up with you, and also no man is seen in all the mountain, also the flock and the herd do not feed toward the front of that mountain.”
4 ତହୁଁ ମୋଶା ପ୍ରଥମ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ପରି ଦୁଇ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ପଟା ଖୋଳିଲେ; ପୁଣି, ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ପ୍ରଭାତରେ ଉଠି ସୀନୟ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରକୁ ଗଲେ ଓ ସେହି ଦୁଇ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ପଟା ହସ୍ତରେ ନେଲେ।
And he hews two tablets of stone like the first, and Moses rises early in the morning, and goes up to Mount Sinai as YHWH commanded him, and takes [the] two tablets of stone in his hand.
5 ତେବେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମେଘରେ ଅବରୋହଣ କରି ସେ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ” ନାମ ଘୋଷଣା କଲେ।
And YHWH comes down in a cloud, and stations Himself with him there, and calls in the Name of YHWH,
6 ଆଉ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ଦେଇ ଗମନ କରି ଏହା ଘୋଷଣା କଲେ, “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସ୍ନେହଶୀଳ ଓ କୃପାମୟ, କ୍ରୋଧରେ ଧୀର, ଦୟା ଓ ସତ୍ୟତାରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ;
and YHWH passes over before his face, and calls: “YHWH, YHWH God, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in kindness and truth,
7 ସହସ୍ର ସହସ୍ର ପୁରୁଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦୟାରକ୍ଷାକାରୀ, ଅପରାଧ ଓ ଆଜ୍ଞାଲଙ୍ଘନ ଓ ପାପ କ୍ଷମାକାରୀ, ତଥାପି ନିତାନ୍ତ ତହିଁର ଦଣ୍ଡଦାତା, ତୃତୀୟ ଓ ଚତୁର୍ଥ ପୁରୁଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପୁତ୍ରପୌତ୍ରାଦି ଉପରେ ପିତୃଗଣର ଅପରାଧର ପ୍ରତିଫଳଦାତା।”
keeping kindness for thousands, taking away iniquity, and transgression, and sin, and not entirely acquitting, charging iniquity of fathers on sons and on sons’ sons, on a third and on a fourth [generation].”
8 ତହୁଁ ମୋଶା ଶୀଘ୍ର ଭୂମିରେ ନତ ମସ୍ତକ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରି କହିଲେ,
And Moses hurries, and bows to the earth, and pays respect,
9 “ପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୁଁ ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ପାଇଅଛି, ତେବେ ବିନୟ କରୁଅଛି, ପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହୋଇ ଗମନ କରନ୍ତୁ; କାରଣ ଏମାନେ ଶକ୍ତଗ୍ରୀବ ଲୋକ, ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଅପରାଧ ଓ ପାପ ମୋଚନ କରି ଆପଣା ଅଧିକାରାର୍ଥେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରନ୍ତୁ।”
and says, “Now if I have found grace in Your eyes, O my Lord, please let my Lord go in our midst (for it [is] a stiff-necked people), and you have forgiven our iniquity and our sin, and have inherited us.”
10 ତେବେ ସେ କହିଲେ, “ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ଗୋଟିଏ ନିୟମ କରିବି; ସମସ୍ତ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଅବା କୌଣସି ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯାହା କେବେ କରାଯାଇ ନାହିଁ, ଏପରି ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟକର୍ମ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ କରିବା; ତହିଁରେ ଯେଉଁସବୁ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅଛ, ସେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସେହି କର୍ମ ଦେଖିବେ, କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଯାହା କରିବା, ତାହା ଭୟଙ୍କର ଅଟେ।
And He says, “Behold, I am making a covenant. I do wonders before all your people, which have not been done in all the earth, or in any nation, and all the people in whose midst you [are in] have seen the work of YHWH, for it [is] fearful—that which I am doing with you.
11 ଆଜି ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯାହା ଆଜ୍ଞା କରୁ, ତହିଁରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କର; ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇମୋରୀୟ, କିଣାନୀୟ, ହିତ୍ତୀୟ, ପରିଷୀୟ, ହିବ୍ବୀୟ ଓ ଯିବୂଷୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଆଗରୁ ତଡ଼ିଦେବା।
Observe for yourself that which I am commanding you today. Behold, I am casting out from before you the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite;
12 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ବିଷୟରେ ସାବଧାନ ହୁଅ, ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାଉଅଛ, ସେହି ଦେଶର ନିବାସୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ନିୟମ କର ନାହିଁ; କାଳେ ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଫାନ୍ଦ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବ।
take heed to yourself lest you make a covenant with the inhabitant of the land into which you are going, lest it become a snare in your midst;
13 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବେଦିସବୁ ଭଗ୍ନ କରିବ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ତମ୍ଭସବୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇବ ଓ ଆଶେରାର ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି କାଟି ପକାଇବ।
for you break down their altars, and you shatter their standing pillars, and you cut down its Asherim;
14 ଯେହେତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅନ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ଦେବତାକୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରିବ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମ (ସ୍ୱଗୌରବ ରକ୍ଷଣରେ) ଉଦ୍ଯୋଗୀ, ସେ (ସ୍ୱଗୌରବ ରକ୍ଷଣରେ) ଉଦ୍ଯୋଗୀ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଟନ୍ତି।
for you do not bow yourselves to another god—for YHWH, whose Name [is] Zealous, is a zealous God.
15 କେଜାଣି ଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେହି ଦେଶ ନିବାସୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ନିୟମ କରିବ; କଲେ ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ସେମାନେ ନିଜେ ଦେବଗଣର ଅନୁଗାମୀ ହୋଇ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କରନ୍ତି ଓ ନିଜ ଦେବଗଣ ନିକଟରେ ବଳିଦାନ କରନ୍ତି, ସେସମୟରେ କେହି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଡାକିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ବଳିଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ଖାଇବ;
Lest you make a covenant with the inhabitant of the land, and they have gone whoring after their gods, and have sacrificed to their gods, and [one] has called to you, and you have eaten of his sacrifice,
16 କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ କନ୍ୟାଗଣକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ନିଜ ଦେବଗଣର ଅନୁଗାମିନୀ ହୋଇ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୁତ୍ରଗଣକୁ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଦେବଗଣର ଅନୁଗାମୀ କରି ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କରାଇବେ।
and you have taken of their daughters for your sons, and their daughters have gone whoring after their gods, and have caused your sons to go whoring after their gods;
17 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଛାଞ୍ଚରେ ଢଳା କୌଣସି ଦେବତା କର ନାହିଁ।
you do not make a molten god for yourself.
18 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାଡ଼ିଶୂନ୍ୟ ରୁଟିର ଉତ୍ସବ ପାଳନ କରିବ, ପୁଣି, ଆବୀବ୍ ମାସର ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ଯେରୂପ କରିବାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇଅଛୁ, ସେହିରୂପେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସାତ ଦିନ ତାଡ଼ିଶୂନ୍ୟ ରୁଟି ଖାଇବ; କାରଣ ସେହି ଆବୀବ୍ ମାସରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମିସର ଦେଶରୁ ବାହାର ହୋଇ ଆସିଥିଲ।
You keep the Celebration of Unleavened Things; [for] seven days you eat unleavened things, as I have commanded you, at an appointed time, [in] the month of Abib: for in the month of Abib you came out from Egypt.
19 ଆଉ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ଗର୍ଭଫଳ ଓ ଗୋମେଷାଦି ପଲ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ପୁଂପଶୁ ସକଳ ଆମ୍ଭର।
All opening a womb [are] Mine, and every firstling of your livestock born a male, [whether] ox or sheep;
20 ମାତ୍ର ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମେଷଶାବକ ଦେଇ ତାକୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବ; ଯଦି ମୁକ୍ତ ନ କରିବ, ତେବେ ତାʼର ବେକ ଭାଙ୍ଗିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ପୁତ୍ର ସକଳକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବ। ଆଉ, କେହି ଶୂନ୍ୟ ହସ୍ତରେ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେବ ନାହିଁ।
and you ransom the firstling of a donkey with a lamb; and if you do not ransom, then you have beheaded it; you ransom every firstborn of your sons, and they do not appear before Me empty.
21 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଛଅ ଦିନ କର୍ମ କରିବ, ମାତ୍ର ସପ୍ତମ ଦିନରେ ବିଶ୍ରାମ କରିବ; କୃଷି ଓ ଶସ୍ୟଚ୍ଛେଦନ ସମୟରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବିଶ୍ରାମ କରିବ।
[For] six days you work, and on the seventh day you rest; in plowing-time and in harvest you rest.
22 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସପ୍ତାହର ଉତ୍ସବ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, କଟା ଗହମର ପ୍ରଥମ ଫଳର ଉତ୍ସବ ଓ ବର୍ଷର ଶେଷ ଭାଗରେ ଫଳ ସଂଗ୍ରହର ଉତ୍ସବ କରିବ।
And you observe [the] Celebration of Weeks for yourself, of [the] first-fruits of wheat-harvest; and the Celebration of Ingathering at the revolution of the year.
23 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ପୁରୁଷ ବର୍ଷ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତିନି ଥର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଛାମୁରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେବେ।
Three times in a year all your males appear before the Lord YHWH, God of Israel;
24 କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୂର କରିବା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସୀମା ବିସ୍ତାର କରିବା, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବର୍ଷ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତିନି ଥର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଛାମୁରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଗମନ କଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭୂମି ପ୍ରତି କେହି ଲୋଭ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
for I dispossess nations from before you, and have enlarged your border, and no man desires your land in your going up to appear before your God YHWH three times in a year.
25 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭ ବଳିର ରକ୍ତ ତାଡ଼ିଯୁକ୍ତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ସହିତ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବ ନାହିଁ ଓ ନିସ୍ତାରପର୍ବୀୟ ଉତ୍ସବର ବଳିଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାତଃକାଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରଖିବ ନାହିଁ।
You do not slaughter the blood of My sacrifice with a fermented thing; and the sacrifice of the Celebration of the Passover does not remain until morning.
26 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଭୂମିର ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ଫଳର ଅଗ୍ରିମାଂଶ ଆପଣା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଗୃହକୁ ଆଣିବ। ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଛାଗର ଶାବକକୁ ତାହାର ମାତାର ଦୁଗ୍ଧରେ ପାକ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।”
You bring the first of the first-fruits of the land into the house of your God YHWH. You do not boil a kid in its mother’s milk.”
27 ଆଉ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହିସବୁ ବାକ୍ୟ ଲେଖ, କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସହିତ ନିୟମ ସ୍ଥିର କରିଅଛୁ।”
And YHWH says to Moses, “Write these words for yourself, for I have made a covenant with you and with Israel according to the tenor of these words.”
28 ସେହି ସମୟରେ ମୋଶା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଚାଳିଶ ଦିବାରାତ୍ର ଅବସ୍ଥାନ କଲେ; ସେ ଅନ୍ନ ଭୋଜନ କି ଜଳ ପାନ କଲେ ନାହିଁ। ସେ ସେହି ଦୁଇ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରରେ ନିୟମ-ବାକ୍ୟ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଦଶ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଲେଖିଲେ।
And he is there with YHWH forty days and forty nights; he has not eaten bread, and he has not drunk water; and he writes on the tablets the matters of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.
29 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୋଶା ସୀନୟ ପର୍ବତରୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇବା ସମୟରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟରୂପ ଦୁଇ ଖଣ୍ଡ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ହସ୍ତରେ ଘେନି ପର୍ବତରୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଆଳାପ କରିବା ସକାଶୁ ଆପଣା ମୁଖର ଚର୍ମ ଯେ ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ୱଳ ହୋଇଥିଲା, ତାହା ମୋଶା ଜାଣି ନ ଥିଲେ।
And it comes to pass, when Moses is coming down from Mount Sinai (and the two tablets of the Testimony [are] in the hand of Moses in his coming down from the mountain), that Moses has not known that the skin of his face has shone in His speaking with him,
30 ପୁଣି, ଯେତେବେଳେ ହାରୋଣ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିଲେ, ସେତେବେଳେ ତାଙ୍କର ମୁଖର ଚର୍ମ ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ୱଳ ଥିଲା; ଏଣୁ ସେମାନେ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ଭୀତ ହେଲେ।
and Aaron sees—all the sons of Israel also—Moses, and behold, the skin of his face has shone, and they are afraid of coming near to him.
31 ମାତ୍ର ମୋଶା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡାକନ୍ତେ, ହାରୋଣ ଓ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷଗଣ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଫେରିଗଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ମୋଶା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଆଳାପ କଲେ।
And Moses calls to them, and Aaron and all the princes in the congregation return to him, and Moses speaks to them;
32 ତହିଁ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଗଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସୀନୟ ପର୍ବତରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ କଥା କହିଥିଲେ, ତାହାସବୁ ସେ ଆଜ୍ଞା ରୂପେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇଲେ।
and afterward all the sons of Israel have come near, and he charges them with all that YHWH has spoken with him in Mount Sinai.
33 ଆଉ, ମୋଶା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥୋପକଥନ ସମାପନ କଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆପଣା ମୁଖରେ ଘୁମୁଟା ଦେଲେ।
And Moses finishes speaking with them, and puts a veil on his face;
34 ମାତ୍ର ମୋଶା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥା କହିବା ପାଇଁ ଭିତରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତକୁ ଯାଇ ବାହାରକୁ ନ ଆସିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସେହି ଘୁମୁଟା କାଢ଼ି ରଖିଲେ; ଆଉ ଯେଉଁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଇଲେ, ବାହାରେ ଆସି ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ତାହା କହିଲେ।
and in the going in of Moses before YHWH to speak with Him, he turns aside the veil until his coming out; and he has come out and has spoken to the sons of Israel that which he is commanded;
35 ତହିଁରେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କର ମୁଖର ଚର୍ମ ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ୱଳ ଅଟେ, ଏହା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ତାଙ୍କର ମୁଖ ପ୍ରତି ଅନାଇ ଦେଖିଲେ; ମୋଶା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥା କହିବାକୁ ଯେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଭିତରକୁ ନ ଗଲେ; ସେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆପଣା ମୁଖରେ ଘୁମୁଟା ଦେଲେ।
and the sons of Israel have seen the face of Moses, that the skin of the face of Moses has shone, and Moses has put back the veil on his face until his going in to speak with Him.
