ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଲିଖିତ ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ପୁସ୍ତକ 24
1 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ, ହାରୋଣ, ନାଦବ୍, ଅବୀହୂ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପ୍ରାଚୀନବର୍ଗର ସତୁରି ଜଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆରୋହଣ କରି ଆସି ଦୂରରେ ରହି ତାହାଙ୍କର ଭଜନା କର।
He said to Moses [Drawn out], “Come up to Adonai, you, and Aaron [Light-bringer], Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel [God prevails]; and worship from a distance.
2 କେବଳ ମୋଶା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବ, ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବେ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ଆରୋହଣ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।”
Moses [Drawn out] alone shall come near to Adonai, but they shall not come near. The people shall not go up with him.”
3 ତେବେ ମୋଶା ଆସି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସେହି ସବୁ ବାକ୍ୟ ଓ ନିୟମ ବିଷୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହନ୍ତେ, ସମସ୍ତେ ଏକସ୍ୱରରେ ଉତ୍ତର କଲେ, “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେଉଁସବୁ କଥା କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହାସବୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପାଳନ କରିବା।”
Moses [Drawn out] came and told the people all Adonai’s words, and all the judgments; and all the people answered with one voice, and said, “All the words which Adonai has spoken will we do.”
4 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୋଶା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ବାକ୍ୟ ଲେଖିଲେ, ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରଭାତରେ ଉଠି ପର୍ବତ ତଳେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦି ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଦ୍ୱାଦଶ ବଂଶାନୁସାରେ ଦ୍ୱାଦଶ ସ୍ତମ୍ଭ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ।
Moses [Drawn out] wrote all Adonai’s words, and rose up early in the morning, and built an altar under the mountain, and twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel [God prevails].
5 ଆଉ, ସେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଯୁବାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାନ୍ତେ, ସେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ହୋମାର୍ଥେ ଓ ମଙ୍ଗଳାର୍ଥେ ବୃଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଳିଦାନ କଲେ।
He sent young men of the children of Israel [God prevails], who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of cattle to Adonai.
6 ତହୁଁ ମୋଶା ରକ୍ତ ଘେନି ତହିଁର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧେକ ପାତ୍ରରେ ରଖିଲେ, ଆଉ ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧେକ ରକ୍ତ ବେଦି ଉପରେ ସେଚନ କଲେ।
Moses [Drawn out] took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
7 ପୁଣି, ନିୟମ-ପୁସ୍ତକ ନେଇ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ କର୍ଣ୍ଣଗୋଚରରେ ପାଠ କଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ କହିଲେ, “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯାହା ଯାହା କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହାସବୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପାଳନ କରିବା ଓ ଆଜ୍ଞାବହ ହେବା।”
He took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people, and they said, “All that Adonai has spoken will we do, and be sh'ma ·hear obey·.”
8 ତହୁଁ ମୋଶା ସେହି ରକ୍ତ ଘେନି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ସେଚନ କରି କହିଲେ, “ଦେଖ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ବାକ୍ୟ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ଯେଉଁ ନିୟମ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେହି ନିୟମର ରକ୍ତ ଏହି।”
Moses [Drawn out] took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, “Look, this is the blood of the covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties·, which Adonai has made with you concerning all these words.”
9 ତେବେ ମୋଶା, ହାରୋଣ, ନାଦବ୍, ଅବୀହୂ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପ୍ରାଚୀନବର୍ଗର ସତୁରି ଜଣ ଆରୋହଣ କଲେ; ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ଦର୍ଶନ କଲେ।
Then Moses [Drawn out], Aaron [Light-bringer], Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel [God prevails] went up.
10 ପୁଣି, ତାହାଙ୍କ ଚରଣତଳ ସ୍ଥାନ ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ୱଳ ନୀଳକାନ୍ତମଣି ନିର୍ମିତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଓ ନିର୍ମଳତାରେ ଠିକ୍ ଆକାଶ ପରି ଥିଲା।
They saw the God of Israel [God prevails]. Under his feet was like a paved work of sapphire stone, like the skies for clearness.
11 ଆଉ ସେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କଲେ ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ଦର୍ଶନ କଲେ, ପୁଣି, ଭୋଜନ ଓ ପାନ କଲେ।
He didn’t lay his hand on the nobles of the children of Israel [God prevails]. They saw God, and ate and drank.
12 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପର୍ବତ ଆରୋହଣ କରି ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଥାଅ; ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯାହା ଲେଖିଅଛୁ, ତାହା, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଓ ଆଜ୍ଞା ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ଦୁଇ ଖଣ୍ଡ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ଫଳକ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେବା।”
Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Come up to me on the mountain, and stay here, and I will give you the stone tablets (of sapphire) with the Torah ·Teaching· and the mitzvot ·instructions· that I have written, that you may teach them.”
13 ତହିଁରେ ମୋଶା ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପରିଚାରକ ଯିହୋଶୂୟ ଉଠିଲେ; ପୁଣି, ମୋଶା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପର୍ବତରେ ଆରୋହଣ କଲେ।
Moses [Drawn out] rose up with Joshua [Yah Salvation], his servant, and Moses [Drawn out] went up onto God’s Mountain.
14 ଆଉ ସେ ପ୍ରାଚୀନବର୍ଗଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ବାହୁଡ଼ି ନ ଆସୁ, ସେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷାରେ ଏହିଠାରେ ଥାଅ; ଦେଖ, ହାରୋଣ ଓ ହୂର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି, କାହାରି କୌଣସି ବିବାଦର କଥା ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଉ।”
He said to the elders, “Wait here for us, until we come again to you. Behold, Aaron [Light-bringer] and Hur are with you. Whoever is involved in a dispute can go to them.”
15 ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୋଶା ପର୍ବତରେ ଚଢ଼ିଲେ, ପୁଣି, ମେଘ ପର୍ବତକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କଲା।
Moses [Drawn out] went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.
16 ତହିଁରେ ସୀନୟ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତାପ ଅବସ୍ଥିତି କଲା; ଆଉ ତାହା ଛଅ ଦିନ ମେଘାଚ୍ଛନ୍ନ ହୋଇ ରହିଲା; ତହିଁ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେ ସପ୍ତମ ଦିନ ମେଘ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ ଡାକିଲେ।
Adonai’s shekhinah [manifest weighty glory and presence of God] settled on Mount Sinai [Thorn], and the cloud covered it six days. The seventh day he called to Moses [Drawn out] out of the middle of the cloud.
17 ତହିଁରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ପର୍ବତ ଶୃଙ୍ଗରେ ଗ୍ରାସକାରୀ ଅଗ୍ନି ତୁଲ୍ୟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତାପ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେଲା।
The appearance of the kavod Yahweh ·weighty glory of He sustains breathing· was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel [God prevails].
18 ପୁଣି, ମୋଶା ମେଘ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ଉଠି ଚାଳିଶ ଦିବାରାତ୍ର ସେହି ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ରହିଲେ।
Moses [Drawn out] entered into the middle of the cloud, and went up on the mountain; and Moses [Drawn out] was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
