ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଲିଖିତ ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ପୁସ୍ତକ 18
1 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଓ ଆପଣା ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ କର୍ମ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ବିଶେଷରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶକୁ ମିସରଠାରୁ କିପରି ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଏହିସବୁ କଥା ମୋଶାଙ୍କର ଶ୍ୱଶୁର ମିଦୀୟନୀୟ ଯାଜକ ଯିଥ୍ରୋ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଲେ।

2 ତହିଁରେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କର ଶ୍ୱଶୁର ସେହି ଯିଥ୍ରୋ ଆପଣା ଗୃହକୁ ପ୍ରେରିତା ମୋଶାଙ୍କର ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା ସିପ୍ପୋରାକୁ ଓ ତାହାର ଦୁଇ ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ନେଲେ।
and to take: take Jethro relative Moses [obj] Zipporah woman: wife Moses after parting gift her
3 ସେହି ଦୁଇ ପୁତ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଜଣକର ନାମ ଗେର୍ଶୋମ, କାରଣ ସେ କହିଥିଲେ, “ମୁଁ ପରଦେଶରେ ପ୍ରବାସୀ ହେଲି।”
and [obj] two son: child her which name [the] one Gershom for to say sojourner to be in/on/with land: country/planet foreign
4 ପୁଣି, ଅନ୍ୟର ନାମ ଇଲୀୟେଜର, କାରଣ ସେ କହିଥିଲେ, “ମୋʼ ପିତାଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମୋହର ଉପକାରୀ ହୋଇ ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ଖଡ୍ଗରୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କଲେ।”
and name [the] one Eliezer for God father my in/on/with helper my and to rescue me from sword Pharaoh
5 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କର ଶ୍ୱଶୁର ଯିଥ୍ରୋ, ମୋଶାଙ୍କର ସେହି ଦୁଇ ପୁତ୍ର ଓ ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟାକୁ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଘେନି ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପର୍ବତର ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ସେ ଛାଉଣି ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଥିଲେ, ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଆସିଲେ।
and to come (in): come Jethro relative Moses and son: child his and woman: wife his to(wards) Moses to(wards) [the] wilderness which he/she/it to camp there mountain: mount [the] God
6 ପୁଣି, ସେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶ୍ୱଶୁର ଯିଥ୍ରୋ, ମୁଁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା, ତାହା ସହିତ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୁଇ ପୁତ୍ର, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଅଛୁ।”
and to say to(wards) Moses I relative your Jethro to come (in): come to(wards) you and woman: wife your and two son: child her with her
7 ସେତେବେଳେ ମୋଶା ଆପଣା ଶ୍ୱଶୁର ସହିତ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବାକୁ ବାହାରକୁ ଯାଇ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ ଓ ଚୁମ୍ବନ କଲେ; ପୁଣି, ପରସ୍ପର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ପଚାରିଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେମାନେ ତମ୍ବୁରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲେ।
and to come out: come Moses to/for to encounter: meet relative his and to bow and to kiss to/for him and to ask man: anyone to/for neighbor his to/for peace: well-being and to come (in): come [the] tent [to]
8 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଫାରୋଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଓ ମିସରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଯାହା ଯାହା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ପଥରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଯେସବୁ କ୍ଳେଶ ଘଟିଅଛି ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେପ୍ରକାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଏହିସବୁ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ମୋଶା ଆପଣା ଶ୍ୱଶୁରଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇଲେ।
and to recount Moses to/for relative his [obj] all which to make: do LORD to/for Pharaoh and to/for Egypt upon because Israel [obj] all [the] hardship which to find them in/on/with way: journey and to rescue them LORD
9 ତହିଁରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମିସରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରି ଯେସବୁ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତହିଁ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯିଥ୍ରୋ ଅତି ଆହ୍ଲାଦିତ ହେଲେ।
and to rejoice Jethro upon all [the] welfare which to make: do LORD to/for Israel which to rescue him from hand: power Egypt
10 ପୁଣି, ଯିଥ୍ରୋ କହିଲେ, “ଯେଉଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମିସରୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ଓ ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ମିସରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଅଧୀନତାରୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ।
and to say Jethro to bless LORD which to rescue [obj] you from hand: owner Egypt and from hand: owner Pharaoh which to rescue [obj] [the] people from underneath: owning hand: owner Egypt
11 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମସ୍ତ ଦେବଗଣଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ମହାନ, ଏହା ମୁଁ ଏବେ ଜାଣିଲି। ହଁ, ସେମାନେ ଯେଉଁ ବିଷୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଗର୍ବ କରିଥିଲେ, (ସେହି ବିଷୟରେ ସେ ମହାନ।”)
now to know for great: large LORD from all [the] God for in/on/with word: because which to boil upon them
12 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଶ୍ୱଶୁର ଯିଥ୍ରୋ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ହୋମ ଓ ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ; ପୁଣି, ହାରୋଣ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଚୀନବର୍ଗ ଆସି ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଶ୍ୱଶୁର ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଭୋଜନ କଲେ।
and to take: bring Jethro relative Moses burnt offering and sacrifice to/for God and to come (in): come Aaron and all old: elder Israel to/for to eat food: bread with relative Moses to/for face: before [the] God
13 ତହିଁ ଆରଦିନ ମୋଶା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କରିବାକୁ ବସନ୍ତେ, ଲୋକମାନେ ପ୍ରଭାତଠାରୁ ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ ରହିଲେ।
and to be from morrow and to dwell Moses to/for to judge [obj] [the] people and to stand: stand [the] people upon Moses from [the] morning till [the] evening
14 ସେତେବେଳେ ମୋଶା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଯାହା ଯାହା କଲେ, ତାଙ୍କର ଶ୍ୱଶୁର ତାହା ଦେଖି କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଏ କିରୂପ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରୁଅଛ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ଏକାକୀ ବସ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରଭାତଠାରୁ ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ କାହିଁକି ଠିଆ ହୋଇ ରହନ୍ତି?”
and to see: see relative Moses [obj] all which he/she/it to make: do to/for people and to say what? [the] word: thing [the] this which you(m. s.) to make: do to/for people why? you(m. s.) to dwell to/for alone you and all [the] people to stand upon you from morning till evening
15 ତହିଁରେ ମୋଶା ଆପଣା ଶ୍ୱଶୁରଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଲୋକମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବିଚାର ବୁଝିବା ପାଇଁ ମୋʼ ପାଖକୁ ଆସନ୍ତି
and to say Moses to/for relative his for to come (in): come to(wards) me [the] people to/for to seek God
16 ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର କୌଣସି ବିବାଦ ହେଲେ, ମୋʼ ପାଖକୁ ଆସନ୍ତି; ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ବାଦୀ ଓ ପ୍ରତିବାଦୀ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବିଚାର କରେ, ପୁଣି, ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବିଧି ଓ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାସବୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜ୍ଞାତ କରାଏ।”
for to be to/for them word: case to come (in): come to(wards) me and to judge between man: anyone and between neighbor his and to know [obj] statute: decree [the] God and [obj] instruction his
17 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କର ଶ୍ୱଶୁର କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭର ଏହି କର୍ମ ଭଲ ନୁହେଁ।
and to say relative Moses to(wards) him not pleasant [the] word: thing which you(m. s.) to make: do
18 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗୀ ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ ଦୁହେଁ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ କ୍ଷୀଣ ହୋଇଯିବ; କାରଣ ଏ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅତି ଭାରୀ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏକାକୀ ଏହା ସାଧନ କରି ନ ପାର।
to wither to wither also you(m. s.) also [the] people [the] this which with you for heavy from you [the] word: thing not be able to make: do him to/for alone you
19 ଏହେତୁ ମୋʼ କଥାରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କର, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଦେବି, ପୁଣି, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭର ସହବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ; ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଛାମୁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷ ହୋଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କ କଥା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଜଣାଅ।
now to hear: obey in/on/with voice my to advise you and to be God with you to be you(m. s.) to/for people opposite [the] God and to come (in): bring you(m. s.) [obj] [the] word: case to(wards) [the] God
20 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଧି ଓ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାର ଉପଦେଶ ଦିଅ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗନ୍ତବ୍ୟ ପଥ ଓ କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟ କର୍ମ ଦେଖାଅ।
and to warn [obj] them [obj] [the] statute: decree and [obj] [the] instruction and to know to/for them [obj] [the] way: conduct to go: walk in/on/with her and [obj] [the] deed: work which to make: do [emph?]
21 ଆହୁରି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କର୍ମକ୍ଷମ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଭୟକାରୀ, ସତ୍ୟବାଦୀ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ଲାଭ ଘୃଣାକାରୀ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ମନୋନୀତ କର; ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ସହସ୍ରପତି, ଶତପତି, ପଚାଶପତି ଓ ଦଶପତି ରୂପେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କର।
and you(m. s.) to see from all [the] people human strength afraid God human truth: faithful to hate unjust-gain and to set: put upon them ruler thousand ruler hundred ruler fifty and ruler ten
22 ସେମାନେ ସର୍ବଦା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କରନ୍ତୁ, ପୁଣି, କୌଣସି ବଡ଼ କଥା ହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆଣିବେ, ମାତ୍ର କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର କଥାସବୁ ସେମାନେ ଆପେ ବିଚାର କରିବେ, ତାହାହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିଜ କର୍ମ ଉଶ୍ୱାସ ହେବ, ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଭାର ବହିବେ।
and to judge [obj] [the] people in/on/with all time and to be all [the] word: thing [the] great: large to come (in): bring to(wards) you and all [the] word: thing [the] small to judge they(masc.) and to lighten from upon you and to lift: bear with you
23 ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହିପରି କରିବ, ପୁଣି, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଏପରି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେବେ, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସହ୍ୟ କରି ପାରିବ? ଆଉ ଏହିସବୁ ଲୋକମାନେ କୁଶଳରେ ସ୍ୱ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଯିବେ।”
if [obj] [the] word: thing [the] this to make: do and to command you God and be able to stand: stand and also all [the] people [the] this upon place his to come (in): come in/on/with peace
24 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୋଶା ଆପଣା ଶ୍ୱଶୁରଙ୍କ କଥାରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କରି ତାଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ସବୁ କର୍ମ କଲେ।
and to hear: hear Moses to/for voice relative his and to make: do all which to say
25 ପୁଣି, ମୋଶା ସମଗ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କର୍ମକ୍ଷମ ଲୋକ ମନୋନୀତ କରି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରଧାନ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ସହସ୍ରପତି, ଶତପତି, ପଚାଶପତି ଓ ଦଶପତି ରୂପେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କଲେ।
and to choose Moses human strength from all Israel and to give: make [obj] them head: leader upon [the] people ruler thousand ruler hundred ruler fifty and ruler ten
26 ତହୁଁ ସେମାନେ ସବୁ ସମୟରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କଲେ; କଠିନ ବିଚାରସବୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଆଣିଲେ; ମାତ୍ର କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର କଥାସବୁ ଆପେ ଆପେ ବିଚାର କଲେ।
and to judge [obj] [the] people in/on/with all time [obj] [the] word: case [the] severe to come (in): bring [emph?] to(wards) Moses and all [the] word: case [the] small to judge they(masc.)
27 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୋଶା ଆପଣା ଶ୍ୱଶୁରଙ୍କୁ ବିଦାୟ କରନ୍ତେ, ସେ ସ୍ୱଦେଶକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ କଲେ।
and to send: depart Moses [obj] relative his and to go: went to/for him to(wards) land: country/planet his
