ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଲିଖିତ ପଞ୍ଚମ ପୁସ୍ତକ 8

1 ଆଜି ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯେଉଁ ସମସ୍ତ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଉଅଛି, ତାହାସବୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କରି ପାଳନ କରିବ, ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବଞ୍ଚିବ ଓ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିଷ୍ଣୁ ହେବ, ଆଉ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ବିଷୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣ ନିକଟରେ ଶପଥ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେହି ଦେଶରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ତାହା ଅଧିକାର କରିବ।

All the commandment which I [am] commanding you this day you will take care! to observe so that you may live! and you will increase and you will go and you will take possession of the land which he swore Yahweh to ancestors your.

2 ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କରିବ କି ନାହିଁ, ଏ ବିଷୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରୀକ୍ଷା ନେବା ପାଇଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ମାନସ ଜାଣିବା ପାଇଁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନମ୍ର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଏହି ଚାଳିଶ ବର୍ଷ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯେଉଁ ସକଳ ପଥରେ ଗମନ କରାଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହା ସ୍ମରଣ କର।

And you will remember all the way which he led you Yahweh God your this forty year[s] in the wilderness so as to humble you to put to [the] test you to know [that] which [was] in heart your ¿ will you keep (commandments his *Q(K)*) or? not.

3 ଆଉ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଯେ କେବଳ ରୁଟିରେ ବଞ୍ଚେ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମୁଖରୁ ଯାହା ଯାହା ନିର୍ଗତ ହୁଏ, ତହିଁରେ ହିଁ ବଞ୍ଚେ, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜଣାଇବା ପାଇଁ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନମ୍ର ଓ କ୍ଷୁଧିତ କରି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଜ୍ଞାତ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣର ଅଜ୍ଞାତ ମାନ୍ନା ଦେଇ ପ୍ରତିପାଳନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।

And he humbled you and he caused to hunger you and he caused to eat you (*L(abh)*) the manna which not you had known and not they had known! ancestors your so as to make know you that not on the bread by only it he lives humankind for on every utterance of [the] mouth of Yahweh he lives humankind.

4 ଏହି ଚାଳିଶ ବର୍ଷସାରା ତୁମ୍ଭ ଶରୀରରେ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଜୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଲା ନାହିଁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପାଦ ଫୁଲିଲା ନାହିଁ।

Clothing your not it wore out from on you and foot your not it swelled this forty year[s].

5 ପୁଣି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଯେପରି ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ଶାସନ କରେ, ତଦ୍ରୂପ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଶାସନ କରନ୍ତି, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ମନରେ ବିବେଚନା କରିବ।

And you will know with heart your that just as he disciplines everyone child his Yahweh God your [is] disciplining you.

6 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କରି ତାହାଙ୍କ ପଥରେ ଗମନ କରିବ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରିବ।

And you will keep [the] commandments of Yahweh God your by walking in ways his and by fearing him.

7 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଏକ ଉତ୍ତମ ଦେଶକୁ ନେଇ ଯାଉଅଛନ୍ତି; ତାହା ସମସ୍ଥଳୀ ଓ ପର୍ବତରେ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ସ୍ରୋତ ଓ ନିର୍ଝର ଓ ଜଳାଶୟର ଦେଶ;

For Yahweh God your [will] bring you into a land good a land of torrents of water springs and deeps [which] go forth in the valley and on the mountain.

8 ସେହି ଦେଶ ଗହମ, ଯବ, ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷା, ଡିମ୍ବିରି ଓ ଡାଳିମ୍ବ ବୃକ୍ଷମୟ ସେହି ଦେଶ ଜୀତ ତୈଳ ଓ ମଧୁମୟ;

A land of wheat and barley and vine and fig tree and pomegranate a land of olive tree of oil and honey.

9 ସେହି ଦେଶରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅଭାବ ବିନା ଆହାର ଭୋଜନ କରିବ, ସେଠାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର କୌଣସି ବିଷୟର ଅଭାବ ହେବ ନାହିଁ; ସେହି ଦେଶର ପଥର ଲୁହା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତହିଁର ପର୍ବତରୁ ପିତ୍ତଳ ଖୋଳି ପାରିବ।

A land which not in scarcity you will eat in it food not you will lack anything in it a land which stones its [are] iron and from hills its you will dig copper.

10 ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭୋଜନ କରି ତୃପ୍ତ ହେବ, ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯେଉଁ ଉତ୍ତମ ଦେଶ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ତହିଁ ସକାଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ କରିବ।

And you will eat and you will be satisfied and you will bless Yahweh God your on the land good which he has given to you.

11 ସାବଧାନ, ମୁଁ ଆଜି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ଆଜ୍ଞା, ବିଧି ଓ ଶାସନ ଆଜ୍ଞା କରୁଅଛି, ତାହା ପାଳନ ନ କରି ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ପାସୋରି ନ ଯାଅ।

Take heed to yourself lest you should forget Yahweh God your to not to keep commandments his and judgments his and statutes his which I [am] commanding you this day.

12 ନୋହିଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭୋଜନ କରି ତୃପ୍ତ ହେଲେ ଓ ଉତ୍ତମ ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରି ତହିଁରେ ବାସ କଲେ,

Lest you should eat and you will be satisfied and houses good you will build and you will dwell.

13 ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗୋମେଷାଦି ପଲ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ରୂପା ଓ ସୁନା ପ୍ରଚୁର ହେଲେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଯାହା ଅଛି, ତାହାସବୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଲେ,

And herd your and flock your they will increase! and silver and gold it will increase of you and all that [belongs] to you it will increase.

14 ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଅହଙ୍କାରୀ ହେବ, ପୁଣି ଯେ ମିସର ଦେଶରୁ, ଦାସ୍ୟଗୃହରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲେ,

And it will be lifted up heart your and you will forget Yahweh God your who brought out you from [the] land of Egypt from a house of slaves.

15 ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନମ୍ର କରିବାକୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରୀକ୍ଷା ନେବାକୁ ଜ୍ୱାଳାଦାୟୀ ସର୍ପ ଓ ବିଚ୍ଛା, ପୁଣି ନିର୍ଜଳ ଶୁଷ୍କ ଭୂମି ଥିବା ଏହି ବିସ୍ତୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ଭୟାନକ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ଦେଇ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଗମନ କରାଇଲେ; ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଚକ୍‍ମକି-ପ୍ରସ୍ତରମୟ ଶୈଳରୁ ଜଳ ବାହାର କଲେ;

Who led you in the wilderness - great and awesome snake - fiery and scorpion and thirsty ground where there not [was] water who brought forth for you water from [the] rock of flint.

16 ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ଅଜ୍ଞାତ ମାନ୍ନା ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରତିପାଳନ କଲେ, ଏପରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପାସୋରି ଯିବ।

Who caused to eat you manna in the wilderness which not they had known! ancestors your so as to humble you and so as to put to [the] test you to do good to you in end your.

17 ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ମନେ ମନେ କହିବ, “ଆମ୍ଭର ପରାକ୍ରମ ଓ ବାହୁ ବଳ ଏହିସବୁ ଐଶ୍ୱର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଲାଭ କରିଅଛି।”

And you will say in heart your strength my and [the] might of hand my it has acquired for me the wealth this.

18 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବ, କାରଣ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଆପଣାର ଯେଉଁ ନିୟମ ବିଷୟରେ ଶପଥ କରିଥିଲେ, ତାହା ସେ ଆଜି ଦିନ ପରି ସ୍ଥିର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଐଶ୍ୱର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପାଇବାର ସାମର୍ଥ୍ୟ ଦେଲେ।

And you will remember Yahweh God your that he [is] the [one who] gives to you strength to acquire wealth so as to carry out covenant his which he swore to ancestors your as the day this.

19 ଆଉ ଯେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ପାସୋରିବ, ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେବତାଗଣର ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍‍ଗାମୀ ହୋଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସେବା କରିବ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରିବ, ତେବେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆଜି ଏହି ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେଉଅଛି ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନିତାନ୍ତ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହେବ।

And it will be certainly [if] you will forget Yahweh God your and you will walk after gods other and you will serve them and you will bow down to them I testify against you this day that certainly you will perish!

20 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେଉଁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିନାଶ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହେବ; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ରବରେ ଅବଧାନ ନ କଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହା ଘଟିବ।

Like the nations which Yahweh [is] about to destroy from before you so you will perish! consequence not you will listen! to [the] voice of Yahweh God your.
