ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଲିଖିତ ପଞ୍ଚମ ପୁସ୍ତକ 32
1 ହେ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳ, କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଦିଅ, ଆମ୍ଭେ କହିବା; ପୁଣି ପୃଥିବୀ ଆମ୍ଭ ମୁଖର ବାକ୍ୟ ଶ୍ରବଣ କରୁ;
Give ear, O heavens, to my voice; let the earth take note of the words of my mouth:
2 ମୋହର ଉପଦେଶ ବୃଷ୍ଟି ପରି ବର୍ଷିବ; ମୋହର କଥା ଶିଶିର ପରି କ୍ଷରିବ; ତାହା କୋମଳ ତୃଣ ଉପରେ ବୁନ୍ଦା ବୃଷ୍ଟି ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଓ ଶାକ ଉପରେ ଅସରା ବୃଷ୍ଟି ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେବ।
My teaching is dropping like rain, coming down like dew on the fields; like rain on the young grass and showers on the garden plants:
3 କାରଣ ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମ ପ୍ରଚାର କରିବି; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମହିମା ଆରୋପ କର।
For I will give honour to the name of the Lord: let our God be named great.
4 ସେ ତ ଶୈଳ, ତାହାଙ୍କ କର୍ମ ସିଦ୍ଧ; କାରଣ ତାହାଙ୍କର ସକଳ ପଥ ନ୍ୟାୟ; ସେ ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତ ଓ ଅଧର୍ମରହିତ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର; ସେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଓ ସରଳ ଅଟନ୍ତି।
He is the Rock, complete is his work; for all his ways are righteousness: a God without evil who keeps faith, true and upright is he.
5 ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟାଚରଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନ ନୁହନ୍ତି, ମାତ୍ର ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କର କଳଙ୍କ; ସେମାନେ ବିପଥଗାମୀ ଓ କୁଟିଳ ବଂଶ।
They have become false, they are not his children, the mark of sin is on them; they are an evil and hard-hearted generation.
6 ହେ ମୂଢ଼ ଓ ଅଜ୍ଞାନ ଲୋକେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଏପରି ପରିଶୋଧ କରୁଅଛ; ସେ କି ତୁମ୍ଭର କ୍ରୟକାରୀ ପିତା ନୁହନ୍ତି? ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସୃଷ୍ଟି ଓ ସ୍ଥିତିକର୍ତ୍ତା ଅଟନ୍ତି।
Is this your answer to the Lord, O foolish people and unwise? Is he not your father who has given you life? He has made you and given you your place.
7 ପୂର୍ବକାଳର ଦିନସବୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କର, ଗତ ବହୁ ପୁରୁଷର ବର୍ଷ ବିବେଚନା କର; ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାର, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜଣାଇବେ; ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଚାର, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିବେ।
Keep in mind the days of the past, give thought to the years of generations gone by: go to your father and he will make it clear to you, to the old men and they will give you the story.
8 ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅଧିକାର ଦେଲେ; ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ପୃଥକ କଲେ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ସଂଖ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ସୀମା ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ।
When the Most High gave the nations their heritage, separating into groups the children of men, he had the limits of the peoples marked out, keeping in mind the number of the children of Israel.
9 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଅଂଶ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଲୋକ ଯାକୁବ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଅଧିକାରର ବାଣ୍ଟ।
For the Lord's wealth is his people; Jacob is the land of his heritage.
10 ସେ ତାହାକୁ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ଦେଶରେ ଓ ପଶୁବୋବାଳିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଘୋର ମରୁଭୂମିରେ ପାଇଲେ; ସେ ତାହାକୁ ଚାରିଆଡ଼ୁ ଆବୋରିଲେ, ସେ ତାହା ବିଷୟରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କଲେ, ସେ ତାହାକୁ ଆପଣା ଚକ୍ଷୁର ପିତୁଳା ପରି ରଖିଲେ।
He came to him in the waste land, in the unpeopled waste of sand: putting his arms round him and caring for him, he kept him as the light of his eye.
11 ଯେପରି ଉତ୍କ୍ରୋଶ ପକ୍ଷୀ ଆପଣା ବସାକୁ ଉତ୍ତେଜିତ କରେ, ଛୁଆମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପକ୍ଷ ଧଡ଼ଧଡ଼ କରେ, (ସେପରି) ସେ ଆପଣା ପକ୍ଷ ବିସ୍ତାର କଲେ, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୋଳି ନେଲେ, ସେ ଆପଣା ଡେଣାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବୋହିଲେ;
As an eagle, teaching her young to make their flight, with her wings outstretched over them, takes them up on her strong feathers:
12 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏକାକୀ ତାହାକୁ ଗମନ କରାଇଲେ, ପୁଣି ତାହା ସହିତ କୌଣସି ବିଦେଶୀୟ ଦେବତା ନ ଥିଲା।
So the Lord only was his guide, no other god was with him.
13 ସେ ପୃଥିବୀର ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀ ଉପରେ ତାହାକୁ ବାହନ-ଆରୋହଣ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଗମନ କରାଇଲେ ଓ ସେ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରଜାତ ଫଳ ଭୋଜନ କଲା; ସେ ତାହାକୁ ପାଷାଣରୁ ମଧୁ ଓ ଚକମକି ପ୍ରସ୍ତରମୟ ଶୈଳରୁ ତୈଳ ପାନ କରାଇଲେ;
He put him on the high places of the earth, his food was the increase of the field; honey he gave him out of the rock and oil out of the hard rock;
14 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଗୋଦଧି, ଛାଗର ଦୁଗ୍ଧ ସହିତ ମେଷର ମେଦ, ବାଶନ ଦେଶୀୟ ମେଷ ଓ ଛାଗର ମାଂସ ସହିତ ଉତ୍ତମ ଗହମର ସାର (ଖାଇଲ), ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାର ରକ୍ତବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରସ ପାନ କଲ।
Butter from his cows and milk from his sheep, with fat of lambs and sheep of Bashan, and goats, and the heart of the grain; and for your drink, wine from the blood of the grape.
15 ମାତ୍ର ଯିଶୁରୁଣ ଚର୍ବିରେ ଫୁଲି ପଦାଘାତ କଲା; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଚର୍ବିରେ ଫୁଲିଅଛ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋଟା ହୋଇଅଛ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଚିକ୍କଣ ହୋଇଅଛ; ତହୁଁ ସେ ଆପଣା ସୃଷ୍ଟିକର୍ତ୍ତା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ତ୍ୟାଗ କଲା, ପୁଣି ଆପଣା ତ୍ରାଣ ରୂପ ଶୈଳଙ୍କୁ ଲଘୁ ଜ୍ଞାନ କଲା।
But Jeshurun became fat and would not be controlled: you have become fat, you are thick and full of food: then he was untrue to the God who made him, giving no honour to the Rock of his salvation.
16 ସେମାନେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେବତାମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତାହାଙ୍କର ଦ୍ୱେଷ ଜନ୍ମାଇଲେ, ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ ବସ୍ତୁ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କଲେ।
The honour which was his they gave to strange gods; by their disgusting ways he was moved to wrath.
17 ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଭୂତ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ନୁହନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁ ଦେବତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନେ ଜାଣିଲେ ନାହିଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନେ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡରିଲେ ନାହିଁ, ଏପରି ସଦ୍ୟ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ନୂତନ ଦେବତାମାନଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ସେମାନେ ବଳିଦାନ କଲେ।
They made offerings to evil spirits which were not God, to gods who were strange to them, which had newly come up, not feared by your fathers.
18 ଯେଉଁ ଶୈଳ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କଲେ, ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅମନୋଯୋଗୀ ହେଲ ଓ ଯେଉଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜନ୍ମ ଦେଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଭୁଲି ଗଲ।
You have no thought for the Rock, your father, you have no memory of the God who gave you birth.
19 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହା ଦେଖିଲେ, ପୁଣି ତାହାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଓ କନ୍ୟାମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ବିରକ୍ତି ଜନ୍ମାଇବାରୁ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କଲେ।
And the Lord saw with disgust the evil-doing of his sons and daughters.
20 ଆଉ ସେ କହିଲେ, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ଲୁଚାଇବା,” “ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଶେଷ ଦଶା କʼଣ ହେବ, ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦେଖିବା; କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ନିତାନ୍ତ ବକ୍ରଗାମୀ ବଂଶ, ଏପରି ସନ୍ତାନ, ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ କିଛି ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତତା ନାହିଁ।
And he said, My face will be veiled from them, I will see what their end will be: for they are an uncontrolled generation, children in whom is no faith.
21 ଯେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ନୁହନ୍ତି, ତାହା ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଅନ୍ତର୍ଜ୍ୱାଳା ଜନ୍ମାଇଲେ; ସେମାନେ ଅସାର ବସ୍ତୁ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କଲେ; ଏଣୁ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଲୋକରେ ଗଣା ନୁହନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ତର୍ଜ୍ୱାଳା ଜନ୍ମାଇବା; ଆମ୍ଭେ ମୂଢ଼ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କରିବା।
They have given my honour to that which is not God, moving me to wrath with their false worship: I will give their honour to those who are not a people, moving them to wrath by a foolish nation,
22 କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭ କ୍ରୋଧରେ ଅଗ୍ନି ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ହେଲା, ତାହା ନୀଚତମ ପାତାଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଜ୍ୱଳୁଅଛି ଓ ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ତଦୁତ୍ପନ୍ନ ବସ୍ତୁ ସହିତ ଗ୍ରାସ କରେ, ଆଉ ପର୍ବତମାନର ମୂଳଦୁଆ ଜ୍ୱଳାଏ। (Sheol h7585)
For my wrath is a flaming fire, burning to the deep parts of the underworld, burning up the earth with her increase, and firing the deep roots of the mountains. (Sheol h7585)
23 ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଅନେକ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଗଦା କରି ଥୋଇବା, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଆପଣା ବାଣସବୁ ବ୍ୟୟ କରିବା।
I will send a rain of troubles on them, my arrows will be showered on them.
24 ସେମାନେ କ୍ଷୁଧାରେ କ୍ଷୀଣ ହେବେ, ସେମାନେ ବ୍ୟାଧିର ଜ୍ୱାଳାରେ ଓ ବିଷାକ୍ତ ମହାମାରୀରେ ଗ୍ରାସିତ ହେବେ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ଧୂଳିର ଉରୋଗାମୀର ବିଷ ସହିତ ଜନ୍ତୁଗଣର ଦନ୍ତ ପଠାଇବା।
They will be wasted from need of food, and overcome by burning heat and bitter destruction; and the teeth of beasts I will send on them, with the poison of the worms of the dust.
25 ବାହାରେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଶୂନ୍ୟ କରିବ ଓ ଗୃହ ଭିତରେ ଭୟ; ତାହା ଯୁବା ଓ ଯୁବତୀ ଦୁହିଁଙ୍କୁ, ପୁଣି ଦୁଗ୍ଧପୋଷ୍ୟ ଶିଶୁ ସହିତ ପକ୍ୱକେଶ ବୃଦ୍ଧକୁ (ବିନାଶ କରିବ)।
Outside they will be cut off by the sword, and in the inner rooms by fear; death will take the young man and the virgin, the baby at the breast and the grey-haired man.
26 ଆମ୍ଭେ କହିଲୁ, ଶତ୍ରୁର ବିରକ୍ତିକି, କେଜାଣି ବିପକ୍ଷମାନେ ବିପରୀତ ବିଚାର କରିବେ, କେଜାଣି ସେମାନେ କହିବେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ଉନ୍ନତ ହୋଇଅଛି, ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହିସବୁ କରି ନାହାନ୍ତି, ଏ କଥା ଯେବେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଚିନ୍ତା ନ କରନ୍ତୁ;
I said I would send them wandering far away, I would make all memory of them go from the minds of men:
27 ତେବେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୂରରେ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କରନ୍ତୁ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ମରଣ ଲୋପ କରନ୍ତୁ।
But for the fear that their haters, uplifted in their pride, might say, Our hand is strong, the Lord has not done all this.
28 ଯେହେତୁ ସେମାନେ ଯୁକ୍ତିହୀନ-ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବିବେଚନା ନାହିଁ।
For they are a nation without wisdom; there is no sense in them.
29 ଆହା, ସେମାନେ ଯେବେ ଜ୍ଞାନବାନ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ, ସେମାନେ ଏ କଥା ବୁଝନ୍ତେ, ସେମାନେ ଯେବେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଶେଷାବସ୍ଥା ବିବେଚନା କରନ୍ତେ।
If only they were wise, if only this was clear to them, and they would give thought to their future!
30 ଯେବେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଶୈଳ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିକ୍ରୟ କରିଦେଇ ନ ଥାʼନ୍ତେ ଓ ଯେବେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିଦେଇ ନ ଥାʼନ୍ତେ, ତେବେ ସହସ୍ର ଜଣଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ଜଣ କିପରି ତଡ଼ି ଦିଅନ୍ତା, ପୁଣି ଦଶ ସହସ୍ର ଜଣଙ୍କୁ ଦୁଇ ଜଣ କିପରି ବିମୁଖ କରନ୍ତେ?
How would it be possible for one to overcome a thousand, and two to send ten thousand in flight, if their rock had not let them go, if the Lord had not given them up?
31 କାରଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଶୈଳ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଶୈଳ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ ବୋଲି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ଆପେ ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତା ହେଲେ ହେଁ (ଜାଣନ୍ତି)।
For their rock is not like our Rock, even our haters themselves being judges.
32 କାରଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତା ସଦୋମର ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତାରୁ ଓ ହମୋରାର କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରୁ ଜାତ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଫଳ ବିଷମୟ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଫଳ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପେଣ୍ଡା ତିକ୍ତ;
For their vine is the vine of Sodom, from the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are the grapes of evil, and the berries are bitter:
33 ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ନାଗସର୍ପର ଗରଳ ଓ କାଳସର୍ପର କ୍ରୂର ବିଷ।
Their wine is the poison of dragons, the cruel poison of snakes.
34 ଏହା କି ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ସଞ୍ଚିତ ହୋଇ ନାହିଁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ଭଣ୍ଡାରରେ ମୁଦ୍ରାଙ୍କିତ ହୋଇ ରହି ନାହିଁ?
Is not this among my secrets, kept safe in my store-house?
35 ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଦ ଖସି ପଡ଼ିବା ବେଳେ ସମୁଚିତ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଓ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦେବା ଆମ୍ଭର କର୍ମ; କାରଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିପଦର ଦିନ ସନ୍ନିକଟ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଯାହା ନିରୂପିତ, ତାହା ଶୀଘ୍ର ଆସୁଅଛି।”
Punishment is mine and reward, at the time of the slipping of their feet: for the day of their downfall is near, sudden will be their fate.
36 ଯେହେତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶକ୍ତିହୀନ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବଦ୍ଧ କି ମୁକ୍ତ କେହି ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ନ ଥିବାର ଦେଖିଲେ, ସେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କରିବେ ଓ ଆପଣା ଦାସମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସଦୟ ହେବେ।
For the Lord will be judge of his people, he will have pity for his servants; when he sees that their power is gone, there is no one, shut up or free.
37 ପୁଣି ସେ କହିବେ, “ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦେବତାମାନେ କାହାନ୍ତି? ଯେଉଁ ଶୈଳରେ ସେମାନେ ଶରଣ ନେଲେ, ସେ କାହିଁ?
And he will say, Where are their gods, the rock in which they put their faith?
38 ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବଳିର ମେଦ ଭୋଜନ କଲେ ଓ ପେୟ-ନୈବେଦ୍ୟର ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପାନ କଲେ, ସେମାନେ କାହାନ୍ତି? ସେମାନେ ଉଠି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଉପକାର କରନ୍ତୁ, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଆଶ୍ରୟ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ।
Who took the fat of their offerings, and the wine of their drink offering? Let them now come to your help, let them be your salvation.
39 ଏବେ ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ହିଁ ସେ ଅଟୁ; ଆମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଆଉ କୌଣସି ଦେବତା ନାହିଁ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ବଧ କରୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜୀବନ ଦାନ କରୁ; ଆମ୍ଭେ କ୍ଷତ କରିଅଛୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରୁ; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଯେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିପାରେ, ଏପରି କେହି ନାହିଁ।
See now, I myself am he; there is no other god but me: giver of death and life, wounding and making well: and no one has power to make you free from my hand.
40 କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆକାଶ ଆଡ଼େ ହସ୍ତ ଉଠାଇ କହୁ, ‘ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେବେ ଅନନ୍ତଜୀବୀ ଅଟୁ,
For lifting up my hand to heaven I say, By my unending life,
41 ତେବେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ବଜ୍ର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଖଡ୍ଗରେ ଶାଣ ଦେଲେ ଓ ବିଚାର ସାଧନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ହସ୍ତକ୍ଷେପ କଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ବିପକ୍ଷଗଣଠାରୁ ପରିଶୋଧ ନେବା, ପୁଣି ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦେବା।
If I make sharp my shining sword, and my hand is outstretched for judging, I will give punishment to those who are against me, and their right reward to my haters.
42 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ବାଣମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ତରେ, ହତ ଓ ବନ୍ଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ରକ୍ତରେ ମତ୍ତ କରିବା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ରାଜଗଣର ମସ୍ତକରୁ ମାଂସ ଭୋଜନ କରିବ।’”
I will make my arrows red with blood, my sword will be feasting on flesh, with the blood of the dead and the prisoners, of the long-haired heads of my haters.
43 ହେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କର; କାରଣ ସେ ଆପଣା ଦାସମାନଙ୍କ ରକ୍ତପାତର ପ୍ରତିକାର କରିବେ ଓ ଆପଣା ବିପକ୍ଷଗଣଠାରୁ ପରିଶୋଧ ନେବେ, ପୁଣି ସେ ଆପଣା ଦେଶ ନିମନ୍ତେ, ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାୟଶ୍ଚିତ୍ତ କରିବେ।
Be glad, O you his people, over the nations; for he will take payment for the blood of his servants, and will give punishment to his haters, and take away the sin of his land, for his people.
44 ଏହିରୂପେ ମୋଶା ଓ ନୂନର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିହୋଶୂୟ ଆସି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ କର୍ଣ୍ଣଗୋଚରରେ ଏହି ଗୀତର ସମସ୍ତ କଥା କହିଲେ।
So Moses said all the words of this song in the hearing of the people, he and Hoshea, the son of Nun.
45 ପୁଣି, ମୋଶା ସମସ୍ତ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ କଥା ସମାପ୍ତ କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ;
And after saying all this to the people,
46 “ମୁଁ ଆଜି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେଇ ଯେଉଁସବୁ କଥା କହିଲି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତହିଁରେ ମନ ଦିଅ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ଯେପରି ଏହି ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାର ସମସ୍ତ କଥା ପାଳିବାକୁ ମନୋଯୋଗ କରିବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହା ଆଦେଶ କରିବ।”
Moses said to them, Let the words which I have said to you today go deep into your hearts, and give orders to your children to do every word of this law.
47 ଯେଣୁ ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ବ୍ୟର୍ଥ କଥା ନୁହେଁ; ମାତ୍ର ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଜୀବନ ଅଟେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଅଧିକାର କରିବାକୁ ଯର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ପାର ହୋଇ ଯାଉଅଛ, ସେଠାରେ ଏହି କଥା ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଦିନ ବଢ଼ାଇବ।
And this is no small thing for you, but it is your life, and through this you may make your days long in the land which you are going over Jordan to take for your heritage.
48 ଆହୁରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେହି ଦିନ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
That same day the Lord said to Moses,
49 “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ଅବାରୀମ୍ ପର୍ବତ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଯିରୀହୋ ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥିତ ମୋୟାବ ଦେଶୀୟ ନବୋ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରକୁ ଯାଅ, ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଅଧିକାରାର୍ଥେ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଦେଉଅଛୁ, ସେହି କିଣାନ ଦେଶ ଦେଖ।
Go up into this mountain of Abarim, to Mount Nebo in the land of Moab opposite Jericho; there you may see the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel for their heritage:
50 ଆଉ ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭାଇ ହାରୋଣ ହୋର ପର୍ବତରେ ମରି ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସଂଗୃହୀତ ହୋଇଥିଲା, ସେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ପର୍ବତକୁ ଯାଉଅଛ, ସେଠାରେ ମରି ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସଂଗୃହୀତ ହୁଅ।
And let death come to you on the mountain where you are going, and be put to rest with your people; as death came to Aaron, your brother, on Mount Hor, where he was put to rest with his people:
51 ଯେହେତୁ ସୀନ୍ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରେ କାଦେଶସ୍ଥ ମିରୀବାଃ ଝରଣା ନିକଟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସତ୍ୟ-ଲଙ୍ଘନ କଲ; ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ପବିତ୍ର ବୋଲି ମାନ୍ୟ କଲ ନାହିଁ।
Because of your sin against me before the children of Israel at the waters of Meribath Kadesh in the waste land of Zin; because you did not keep my name holy among the children of Israel.
52 ତଥାପି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ସେହି ଦେଶ ଦେଖିବ; ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଦେବା, ସେଠାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାଇ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।”
So you will see the land before you, but you will not go into the land which I am giving to the children of Israel.
