ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଲିଖିତ ପଞ୍ଚମ ପୁସ୍ତକ 3
1 ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଫେରି ବାଶନର ପଥ ଦେଇ ଗମନ କଲୁ; ତହିଁରେ ବାଶନର ରାଜା ଓଗ୍ ଅାସି ଅାକ୍ରମଣ କଲେ, ପୁଣି ସେ ଓ ତାହାର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରଜା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ବାହାରି ଇଦ୍ରିୟୀକୁ ଆସିଲେ।
And we turned and we went up [the] way of Bashan and he came forth Og [the] king of Bashan to meet us he and all people his for battle Edrei.
2 ସେତେବେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋତେ କହିଲେ, “ତାହାକୁ ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ଓ ତାହାର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରଜାଙ୍କୁ ଓ ତାହାର ଦେଶକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିଅଛୁ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେପରି ହିଷ୍ବୋନ ନିବାସୀ ଇମୋରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ରାଜା ସୀହୋନ ପ୍ରତି କରିଅଛ, ସେପରି ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ମଧ୍ୟ କରିବ।”
And he said Yahweh to me may not you fear him for in hand your I give him and all people his and land his and you will do to him just as you did to Sihon [the] king of the Amorite[s] who [was] dwelling in Heshbon.
3 ଏହିରୂପେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମଧ୍ୟ ବାଶନ-ରାଜା ଓଗ୍କୁ ଓ ତାହାର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରଜାଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାକୁ ଏପରି ପରାଜୟ କଲୁ ଯେ, ତାହାର କେହି ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ରହିଲା ନାହିଁ।
And he gave Yahweh God our in hand our also Og [the] king of Bashan and all people his and we struck down him until not he had left to him a survivor.
4 ସେସମୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାର ସମସ୍ତ ନଗର ହସ୍ତଗତ କଲୁ, ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଯାହା ହସ୍ତଗତ ନ କଲୁ, ଏପରି ଗୋଟିଏ ନଗର ରହିଲା ନାହିଁ; ଷାଠିଏ ନଗର, ଅର୍ଗୋବର ସମସ୍ତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ବାଶନସ୍ଥ ଓଗ୍ର ରାଜ୍ୟ (ହସ୍ତଗତ କଲୁ)।
And we captured all cities his at the time that not it was a town which not we took from with them sixty citi[es] all [the] region of Argob [the] kingdom of Og in Bashan.
5 ସେହି ସବୁ ନଗର ଉଚ୍ଚ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଓ ଦ୍ୱାର ଓ ଅର୍ଗଳରେ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ଥିଲା; ତାହା ଛଡ଼ା ଅନେକ ପ୍ରାଚୀରହୀନ ନଗର ଥିଲା।
All these [were] cities fortified wall high gates and bar[s] apart from [the] cities of the hamlet-dweller[s] many very.
6 ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ହିଷ୍ବୋନ-ରାଜା ସୀହୋନ ପ୍ରତି ଯେରୂପ କରିଥିଲୁ, ସେରୂପ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରୂପେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ କଲୁ, ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ବାଳକ ସମେତ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ବସତି-ନଗର ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରୂପେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ କଲୁ।
And we totally destroyed them just as we had done to Sihon [the] king of Heshbon we totally destroyed every city of men the women and the little one[s].
7 ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତ ପଶୁ ଓ ନଗରର ଲୁଟିତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟାଦି ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଲୁଟ ସ୍ୱରୂପେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲୁ।
And all the livestock and [the] booty of the cities we plundered for ourselves.
8 ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯର୍ଦ୍ଦନର ପୂର୍ବପାରିସ୍ଥ ଇମୋରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଦୁଇ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତରୁ ଅର୍ଣ୍ଣୋନ-ଉପତ୍ୟକାଠାରୁ ହର୍ମୋଣ ପର୍ବତ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସମସ୍ତ ଦେଶ ହସ୍ତଗତ କଲୁ।
And we took at the time that the land from [the] hand of [the] two [the] kings of the Amorite[s] who [were] on [the] other side of the Jordan from [the] wadi of Arnon to [the] mountain of Hermon.
9 (ସୀଦୋନୀୟମାନେ ସେହି ହର୍ମୋଣ ପର୍ବତକୁ ସିରିୟୋନ କହନ୍ତି ଓ ଇମୋରୀୟମାନେ ତାହାକୁ ସନୀର୍ କହନ୍ତି)।
[the] Sidonians They call Hermon Sirion and the Amorite[s] they call it Senir.
10 ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସମଭୂମିର ସମସ୍ତ ନଗର ଓ ସଲଖା ଓ ଇଦ୍ରିୟୀ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସମସ୍ତ ଗିଲୀୟଦ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ବାଶନ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ବାଶନସ୍ଥିତ ଓଗ୍ ରାଜ୍ୟର ସମସ୍ତ ନଗର ହସ୍ତଗତ କଲୁ।
All - [the] cities of the plain and all Gilead and all Bashan to Salecah and Edrei [the] cities of [the] kingdom of Og in Bashan.
11 (ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ରଫାୟୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କେବଳ ବାଶନ-ରାଜା ଓଗ୍ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ରହିଲା, ଦେଖ, ତାହାର ଖଟ ଲୌହମୟ ଖଟ; ତାହା କି ଅମ୍ମୋନ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ରବ୍ବାରେ ନାହିଁ? ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ହସ୍ତର ପରିମାଣାନୁସାରେ ତାହା ଲମ୍ବାରେ ନଅ ହାତ ଓ ଓସାରରେ ଚାରି ହାତ)।
For only Og [the] king of Bashan he survived from [the] remnant of the Rephaites there! sarcophagus his [was] a sarcophagus of iron ¿ not [is] it in Rabbah of [the] people of Ammon [was] nine cubits length its and [was] four cubits breadth its by a cubit of a human.
12 ଏହି ସମୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅର୍ଣ୍ଣୋନ-ଉପତ୍ୟକା ନିକଟସ୍ଥ ଅରୋୟେରଠାରୁ ସେହି ସମସ୍ତ ଦେଶ ଅଧିକାର କଲୁ; ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ଗିଲୀୟଦର ପର୍ବତମୟ ଦେଶର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧେକ ଓ ତହିଁର ନଗରସବୁ ରୁବେନୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଗାଦୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଲି।
And the land this we took possession of at the time that from Aroer which [was] at [the] wadi of Arnon and [the] half of [the] hill country of Gilead and cities its I gave to the Reubenite[s] and to the Gadite[s].
13 ପୁଣି ମୁଁ ଗିଲୀୟଦର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଅଂଶ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ବାଶନ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଓଗ୍ର ରାଜ୍ୟ, ବିଶେଷରେ ସମୁଦାୟ ବାଶନ ସହିତ ଅର୍ଗୋବର ସମସ୍ତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ମନଃଶିର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧ ବଂଶକୁ ଦେଲି (ତାହା ରଫାୟୀୟ ଦେଶ ବୋଲି ବିଖ୍ୟାତ।
And [the] remainder of Gilead and all Bashan [the] kingdom of Og I gave to [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh all [the] region of Argob to all Bashan it it was called [the] land of [the] Rephaites.
14 ମନଃଶିର ପୁତ୍ର ଯାୟୀର, ଗଶୂରୀୟ ଓ ମାଖାଥୀୟ ସୀମା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଅର୍ଗୋବର ସମସ୍ତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ହସ୍ତଗତ କରି ଆପଣା ନାମାନୁସାରେ ଆଜି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବାଶନ ଦେଶର ସେହି ସମସ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନର ନାମ ହବୋତ୍-ଯାୟୀର ରଖିଲା)।
Jair [the] son of Manasseh he took all [the] region of Argob to [the] border of the Geshurite[s] and the Maacathite[s] and he called them on own name his Bashan [the] villages of Jair until the day this.
15 ପୁଣି ମୁଁ ମାଖୀରକୁ ଗିଲୀୟଦ ଦେଲି।
And to Makir I gave Gilead.
16 ଆଉ ଗିଲୀୟଦଠାରୁ ଅର୍ଣ୍ଣୋନ-ଉପତ୍ୟକା, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଉପତ୍ୟକାର ମଧ୍ୟସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ତହିଁର ସୀମା ସମେତ, ପୁଣି ସେହିଠାରୁ ଅମ୍ମୋନ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ସୀମା ଯବ୍ବୋକ୍ ନଦୀ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ;
And to the Reubenite[s] and to the Gadite[s] I gave from Gilead and to [the] wadi of Arnon [the] middle of the wadi and a border and to Jabbok the wadi [is] [the] border of [the] people of Ammon.
17 ଆଉ କିନ୍ନେରତ୍ଠାରୁ ପାଦଭୂମିସ୍ଥ ସମୁଦ୍ର, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ପିସ୍ଗାର ଅଧଃସ୍ଥିତ ଲବଣ ସମୁଦ୍ର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପୂର୍ବ ଦିଗବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ପଦାଭୂମି ଓ ଯର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ଓ ତହିଁର ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ରୁବେନୀୟ ଓ ଗାଦୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଲି।
And the Arabah and the Jordan and a border from Kinnereth and to [the] sea of the Arabah [the] Sea of Salt under [the] slopes of Pisgah east-ward.
18 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୁଁ ସେହି ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇ କହିଲି, “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଧିକାରାର୍ଥେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଦେଶ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ସମସ୍ତ ବୀରପୁରୁଷ ସସଜ୍ଜ ହୋଇ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ପାର ହୋଇଯିବେ।
And I commanded you at the time that saying Yahweh God your he has given to you the land this to take possession of it equipped you will pass over before countrymen your [the] people of Israel O all [the] sons of strength.
19 ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ନଗର ଦେଇଅଛି, ସେହି ସବୁ ନଗରରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା ଓ ବାଳକଗଣ ଓ ପଶୁମାନେ ବାସ କରିବେ; କାରଣ ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଅନେକ ପଶୁ ଅଛି।
Only wives your and little one[s] your and livestock your I know that livestock much [belongs] to you they will remain in cities your which I have given to you.
20 ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଦେଲେ ଓ ଯର୍ଦ୍ଦନର ସେପାରିରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେବେ, ସେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେହି ଦେଶ ଅଧିକାର କଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ମୋହର ଦତ୍ତ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଅଧିକାରକୁ ଫେରିଯିବ।”
Until that he will give rest Yahweh - to countrymen your like you and they will take possession of also they the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to them on [the] other side of the Jordan and you will return everyone to possession his which I have given to you.
21 ଆଉ ମୁଁ ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଯିହୋଶୂୟଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇ କହିଲି, “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଏହି ଦୁଇ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଯାହା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ସ୍ୱଚକ୍ଷୁରେ ଦେଖିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପାର ହୋଇ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯାଉଅଛ, ସେସବୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତଦ୍ରୂପ କରିବେ।
And Joshua I commanded at the time that saying eyes your [are] the [ones which] have seen all that he did Yahweh God your to [the] two the kings these thus he will do Yahweh to all the kingdoms where you [are] about to pass over there.
22 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସପକ୍ଷରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରନ୍ତି, ସେହି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଟନ୍ତି।”
Not you must fear them for Yahweh God your he [is] the [one who] will fight for you.
23 ସେହି ସମୟରେ ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ବିନତି କରି କହିଲି,
And I sought favor to Yahweh at the time that saying.
24 “ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦାସ ନିକଟରେ ଆପଣା ମହିମା ଓ ବଳବାନ ହସ୍ତ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭର କ୍ରିୟା ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରାକ୍ରାନ୍ତ କର୍ମ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଯେ କରିପାରେ, ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ କି ମର୍ତ୍ତ୍ୟରେ ଏପରି ଆଉ କିଏ ଅଛି?
O Lord Yahweh you you have begun to show servant your greatness your and hand your strong that who? [is] God in the heavens and on the earth who he will do like works your and like mighty deeds your.
25 ମୁଁ ବିନୟ କରୁଅଛି, ମୋତେ ସେପାରିକି ଯିବାକୁ ଓ ଯର୍ଦ୍ଦନର ସେପାରିସ୍ଥିତ ସେହି ଉତ୍ତମ ଦେଶ, ସେହି ରମଣୀୟ ପର୍ବତ ଓ ଲିବାନୋନ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ଦିଅ।”
Let me pass over please so I may see the land good which [is] on [the] other side of the Jordan the hill country good this and Lebanon.
26 ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସକାଶୁ ମୋʼ ଉପରେ କ୍ରୋଧ କଲେ ଓ ମୋʼ କଥା ଶୁଣିଲେ ନାହିଁ; ଆଉ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋତେ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭର ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ ହେଲାଣି ଏ ବିଷୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଉ କୁହ ନାହିଁ।
And he was furious Yahweh with me on account of you and not he listened to me and he said Yahweh to me enough for you may not you repeat to speak to me again in the matter this.
27 ପିସ୍ଗାର ଶୃଙ୍ଗକୁ ଚଢ଼ି ଯାଅ, ଆଉ ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଓ ଉତ୍ତର ଓ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଓ ପୂର୍ବ ଆଡ଼େ ଅନାଇ ଦେଖ ଓ ଆପଣା ଚକ୍ଷୁରେ ତାହା ନିରୀକ୍ଷଣ କର; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ଯର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ପାର ହେବ ନାହିଁ।
Go up - [the] top of Pisgah and lift up eyes your west-ward and north-ward and south-ward and east-ward and see with own eyes your that not you will pass over the Jordan this.
28 ମାତ୍ର ଯିହୋଶୂୟକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦିଅ ଓ ତାହାକୁ ସାହସ ଦିଅ ଓ ତାହାକୁ ବଳବାନ କରାଅ; କାରଣ ସେ ଏହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଆଗେ ଆଗେ ପାର ହୋଇଯିବ; ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଦେଖିବ, ତାହା ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଧିକାର କରାଇବ।”
And commission Joshua and encourage him and strengthen him for he he will pass over before the people this and he he will give as an inheritance them the land which you will see.
29 ଏହିରୂପେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବେଥ୍-ପିୟୋର ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥିତ ଉପତ୍ୟକାରେ ବାସ କଲୁ।
And we remained in the valley opposite to Beth Peor.
