ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଲିଖିତ ପଞ୍ଚମ ପୁସ୍ତକ 20

1 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ବାହାରିଲେ, ଯେବେ ଆପଣା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକ ଅଶ୍ୱ, ରଥ ଓ ଲୋକ ଦେଖିବ, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଭୀତ ହେବ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମିସର ଦେଶରୁ ଆଣିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେହି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି।

for to come out: come to/for battle upon enemy your and to see: see horse and chariot people: soldiers many from you not to fear from them for LORD God your with you [the] to ascend: rise you from land: country/planet Egypt

2 ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧର ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହେଲେ, ଯାଜକ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବ,

and to be like/as to present: come you to(wards) [the] battle and to approach: approach [the] priest and to speak: speak to(wards) [the] people

3 ହେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ, “ଶୁଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆଜି ଆପଣା ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ଯାଉଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ହୃଦୟ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ନ ହେଉ; ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା କମ୍ପମାନ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଭୟଯୁକ୍ତ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ।

and to say to(wards) them to hear: hear Israel you(m. p.) approaching [the] day to/for battle upon enemy your not be tender heart your not to fear and not to hurry and not to tremble from face of their

4 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସପକ୍ଷ ହୋଇ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରି ରକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯାଉଅଛନ୍ତି।”

for LORD God your [the] to go: went with you to/for to fight to/for you with enemy your to/for to save [obj] you

5 ପୁଣି ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷଗଣ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବେ, “କେଉଁ ଲୋକ ନୂତନ ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରି ତାହା ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କରି ନାହିଁ? ସେ ଫେରି ଆପଣା ଗୃହକୁ ଯାଉ, କେଜାଣି ସେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ମଲେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକ ତହିଁର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କରିବ।

and to speak: speak [the] official to(wards) [the] people to/for to say who? [the] man which to build house: home new and not to dedicate him to go: went and to return: return to/for house: home his lest to die in/on/with battle and man another to dedicate him

6 ଆଉ କେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାକ୍ଷେତ୍ର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରି ତହିଁର ଫଳ ଭୋଗ କରି ନାହିଁ? ସେ ଫେରି ଆପଣା ଗୃହକୁ ଯାଉ, କେଜାଣି ସେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ମଲେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକ ତହିଁର ଫଳ ଭୋଗ କରିବ।

and who? [the] man which to plant vineyard and not to profane/begin: fruit him to go: went and to return: return to/for house: home his lest to die in/on/with battle and man another to profane/begin: fruit him

7 ଆଉ କେଉଁ ଲୋକ କୌଣସି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀକୁ ବାଗ୍‍ଦାନ କରି ତାହାକୁ ବିବାହ କରି ନାହିଁ? ସେ ଫେରି ଆପଣା ଗୃହକୁ ଯାଉ, କେଜାଣି ସେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ମଲେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକ ତାହାକୁ ବିବାହ କରିବ।”

and who? [the] man which to betroth woman: wife and not to take: marry her to go: went and to return: return to/for house: home his lest to die in/on/with battle and man another to take: marry her

8 ଆହୁରି ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷଗଣ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବେ, “ଭୟାଳୁ ଓ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ହୃଦୟ ଲୋକ କିଏ ଅଛି? ସେ ଫେରି ଆପଣା ଗୃହକୁ ଯାଉ, କେଜାଣି ତାହାର ହୃଦୟ ପରି ତାହାର ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣର ହୃଦୟ ତରଳି ଯିବ।”

and to add: again [the] official to/for to speak: speak to(wards) [the] people and to say who? [the] man [the] afraid and tender [the] heart to go: went and to return: return to/for house: home his and not to melt [obj] heart brother: compatriot his like/as heart his

9 ପୁଣି ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷଗଣ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥା ସମାପ୍ତ କଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେମାନେ ସୈନ୍ୟ ଉପରେ ସେନାପତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିବେ।

and to be like/as to end: finish [the] official to/for to speak: speak to(wards) [the] people and to reckon: overseer ruler army in/on/with head: leader [the] people

10 ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ପାଇଁ କୌଣସି ନଗରର ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହେବ, ସେତେବେଳେ ତହିଁ ପ୍ରତି ସନ୍ଧିର କଥା ଘୋଷଣା କରିବ।

for to present: come to(wards) city to/for to fight upon her and to call: call to to(wards) her to/for peace

11 ତହିଁରେ ସେ ଯେବେ ସନ୍ଧିରେ ସମ୍ମତ ହୋଇ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦ୍ୱାର ଫିଟାଇ ଦିଏ, ତେବେ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯେତେ ଲୋକ ଦେଖାଯିବେ, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦାସ ହେବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସେବା କରିବେ।

and to be if peace to answer you and to open to/for you and to be all [the] people [the] to find in/on/with her to be to/for you to/for taskworker and to serve you

12 ମାତ୍ର ଯଦି ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ସନ୍ଧି ନ କରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରେ, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେହି ନଗର ଅବରୋଧ କରିବ।

and if not to ally with you and to make with you battle and to confine upon her

13 ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯେତେବେଳେ ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବେ, ସେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତହିଁର ସମସ୍ତ ପୁରୁଷଙ୍କୁ ଖଡ୍ଗଧାରରେ ବଧ କରିବ।

and to give: give her LORD God your in/on/with hand: power your and to smite [obj] all male her to/for lip: edge sword

14 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ, ବାଳକମାନଙ୍କୁ, ପଶୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ନଗରର ସର୍ବସ୍ୱ ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଲୁଟ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କର ଯେଉଁ ଲୁଟ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ତାହା ଭୋଜନ କରିବ।

except [the] woman and [the] child and [the] animal and all which to be in/on/with city all spoil her to plunder to/for you and to eat [obj] spoil enemy your which to give: give LORD God your to/for you

15 ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ନଗର ଏହି ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ନୁହେଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଅତି ଦୂରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଏପରି ସମସ୍ତ ନଗର ପ୍ରତି ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର କରିବ।

so to make: do to/for all [the] city [the] distant from you much which not from city [the] nation [the] these they(fem.)

16 ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଏହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ନଗର ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଧିକାର ପାଇଁ ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ନିଃଶ୍ୱାସଧାରୀ କାହାରିକୁ ଜୀବିତ ରଖିବ ନାହିଁ।

except from city [the] people [the] these which LORD God your to give: give to/for you inheritance not to live all breath

17 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ହିତ୍ତୀୟ, ଇମୋରୀୟ, କିଣାନୀୟ, ପରିଷୀୟ, ହିବ୍ବୀୟ ଓ ଯିବୂଷୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରୂପେ ବିନାଶ କରିବ।

for to devote/destroy to devote/destroy them [the] Hittite and [the] Amorite [the] Canaanite and [the] Perizzite [the] Hivite and [the] Jebusite like/as as which to command you LORD God your

18 ନୋହିଲେ କେଜାଣି, ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଦେବତାମାନଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଯେଉଁସବୁ ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ କର୍ମ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତଦନୁସାରେ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିଖାଇବେ; ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପାପ କରିବ।

because which not to learn: teach [obj] you to/for to make: do like/as all abomination their which to make: do to/for God their and to sin to/for LORD God your

19 ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କୌଣସି ନଗର ହସ୍ତଗତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରି ବହୁ କାଳ ତାହା ଅବରୋଧ କରିବ, ସେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କୁହ୍ରାଡ଼ି ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେଠାରେ ଥିବା ବୃକ୍ଷଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ହାଣିବ ନାହିଁ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତହିଁରୁ ଭୋଜନ କରି ପାରିବ, ଏଣୁ ତାହା କାଟିବ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରର ବୃକ୍ଷ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଜୀବନର ଆଧାର ହୋଇଥିବାରୁ ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ଅବରୁଦ୍ଧ ହେବ ନାହିଁ।

for to confine to(wards) city day many to/for to fight upon her to/for to capture her not to ruin [obj] tree her to/for to banish upon him axe for from him to eat and [obj] him not to cut: cut for man tree [the] land: country to/for to come (in): besiege from face: before your in/on/with siege

20 କେବଳ ଯେଉଁ ବୃକ୍ଷ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନୁହେଁ ବୋଲି ଜାଣ, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନଷ୍ଟ କରିବ ଓ କାଟିବ; ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକାରୀ ନଗର ପରାଜିତ ହେବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତହିଁ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଅବରୋଧକ ଉପାୟ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବ।

except tree which to know for not tree food he/she/it [obj] him to ruin and to cut: cut and to build siege upon [the] city which he/she/it to make with you battle till to go down she
