ପ୍ରେରିତ 20

1 ସେହି ଗଣ୍ଡଗୋଳ ବନ୍ଦ ହେବା ପରେ ପାଉଲ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡକାଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ସାହ ଦେଲେ, ଆଉ ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ବିଦାୟ ନେଇ ମାକିଦନିଆକୁ ଯିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ କଲେ।

After the rage was ceased Paul called the disciples vnto him and toke his leave of them and departed for to goo into Macedonia.

2 ସେହି ସମସ୍ତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ଦେଇ ଯାତ୍ରା କରି ସେ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ବହୁତ ଉତ୍ସାହ ଦେବା ପରେ ଗ୍ରୀସ୍‍କୁ ଆସିଲେ।

And when he had gone over those parties and geven them large exhortacions he came into Grece

3 ସେ ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ତିନି ମାସ ରହି ଯେତେବେଳେ ଜାହାଜରେ ଚଢ଼ି ସିରିୟାକୁ ଯିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କଲେ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଯିହୁଦୀମାନେ ପାଉଲଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ ଷଡ଼ଯନ୍ତ୍ର କରିବାରୁ ସେ ମାକିଦନିଆ ଦେଇ ବାହୁଡ଼ି ଯିବାକୁ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି କଲେ।

and there abode. iii. monethes. And when the Iewes layde wayte for him as he was about to sayle into Syria he purposed to returne thorowe Macedonia.

4 ଆଉ, ବେରିୟା ନଗରନିବାସୀ ପୁରଙ୍କ ପୁଅ ସୋପାତ୍ର, ଥେସଲନୀକୀ ସହରରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଆରିସ୍ତାର୍ଖ ଓ ସେକୁନ୍ଦ, ଦର୍ବୀର ଗାୟ, ତୀମଥି, ଆଉ ଏସିଆ ପ୍ରଦେଶର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ତୁଖିକ ଓ ତ୍ରଫିମ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଯାତ୍ରା କଲେ।

Ther acompanied him into Asia Sopater of Berrea and of Thessalonia Aristarcus and Secundus and Gayus of Derba and Timotheus: and out of Asia Tychicus and Trophimos.

5 ଏମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ପ୍ରଥମରେ ଯାଇ ତ୍ରୋୟା ସହରରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରୁଥିଲେ।

These went before and taryed vs at Troas.

6 ଆଉ, ଖମୀରଶୂନ୍ୟ ରୁଟିର ପର୍ବ ପରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାହାଜରେ ଚଢ଼ି ଫିଲିପ୍ପୀ ସହରରୁ ଯାତ୍ରା କଲୁ, ପୁଣି, ପାଞ୍ଚ ଦିନରେ ତ୍ରୋୟାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଲୁ; ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ସାତ ଦିନ ରହିଲୁ।

And we sayled awaye fro Philippos after the ester holydayes and came vnto them to Troas in five dayes where we abode seven dayes.

7 ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସପ୍ତାହର ପ୍ରଥମ ଦିନରେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ରୁଟି ଭାଙ୍ଗିବାକୁ ଏକତ୍ରିତ ହୋଇଥିଲୁ, ପାଉଲ ସେତେବେଳେ ଆରଦିନ ଯିବେ ବୋଲି ଉଦ୍ୟତ ହେଉଥିବାରୁ, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉପଦେଶ ଦେବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ ଓ ମଧ୍ୟରାତ୍ର ଯାଏ ଦୀର୍ଘ ଭାଷଣ ଦେଲେ।

And on the morowe after the saboth daye the disciples came to geder for to breake breed and Paul preached vnto them (redy to departe on the morowe) and cotinued the preachynge vnto mydnyght.

8 ଯେଉଁ ଉପର କୋଠରୀରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏକତ୍ର ହୋଇଥିଲୁ, ସେ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଅନେକ ଦୀପ ଥିଲା।

And there were many lyghtes in the chamber where thy were gaddered to geder

9 ଆଉ, ଝରକା ଉପରେ ଇଉତୁଖ ନାମକ ଜଣେ ଯୁବା ଲୋକ ବସିଥିଲା, ତାହାକୁ ଭାରୀ ନିଦ ଲାଗୁଥିଲା; ପୁଣି, ପାଉଲ ଆପଣା ଉପଦେଶ ଆହୁରି ଦୀର୍ଘ କରିବାରୁ ସେ ନିଦ୍ରା ମଗ୍ନ ହୋଇ ତୃତୀୟ ମହଲାରୁ ତଳେ ପଡ଼ିଗଲା, ଆଉ ତାହାକୁ ଉଠାଇଲା ବେଳକୁ, ସେ ମୃତ ବୋଲି ଜଣାଗଲା।

and there sate in a wyndowe a certayne yonge man named Eutichos fallen into a depe slepe. And as Paul declared he was the moare overcome with slepe and fell doune from the thyrde lofte and was taken vp deed.

10 ପାଉଲ ସେଥିରେ ତଳକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆସି ତାହା ଉପରେ ପଡ଼ି ତାହାକୁ ଆଲିଙ୍ଗନ କରି କହିଲେ, କୋଳାହଳ କର ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ଏହାଠାରେ ଜୀବନ ଅଛି।

Paul went doune and fell on him and embrased him and sayde: make nothinge ado for his lyfe is in him.

11 ସେ ପରେ ଉପରକୁ ଯାଇ ରୁଟି ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଭୋଜନ କଲେ, ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ପ୍ରଭାତ ହେବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବହୁତ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କରି ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ କଲେ।

When he was come vp agayne he brake breed and tasted and comened a longe whyle even tyll the mornynge and so departed.

12 ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ସେହି ଯୁବାକୁ ଜୀବିତ ପାଇ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆଶ୍ୱାସନା ପାଇଲେ।

And they brought the youge man a lyve and were not alytell comforted.

13 କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆଗେ ଜାହାଜରେ ଚଢ଼ି ଆସସ୍‌ ସହରକୁ ଯାତ୍ରା କଲୁ, ସେଠାରୁ ପାଉଲଙ୍କୁ ନେଇଯିବା ପାଇଁ ମନେ କରିଥିଲୁ, କାରଣ ସ୍ଥଳ ପଥରେ ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ସେ ନିଜେ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରି ସେପ୍ରକାର ସ୍ଥିର କରିଥିଲେ।

And we went a fore to shippe and lowsed vnto Asson there to receave Paul. For so had he apoynted and wolde him selfe goo a fote.

14 ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆସସ୍‌ରେ ଭେଟିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଘେନି ମିତୁଲୀନୀ ସହରକୁ ଆସିଲୁ,

When he was come to vs vnto Asson we toke him in and came to Mytelenes.

15 ଆଉ ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଜାହାଜ ଫିଟାଇ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପରଦିନ ଖୀୟସ୍ ଦ୍ୱୀପ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲୁ, ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ଦିନରେ ଜାହାଜ ସାମ ଦ୍ୱୀପରେ ଲଗାଇଲୁ ଓ ଆରଦିନ ମୀଲୀତ ସହରରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଲୁ।

And we sayled thence and came the nexte daye over agaynst Chios. And the nexte daye we aryved at Samos and taryed at Trogilion. The nexte daye we came to Myleton:

16 କାରଣ ପାଉଲଙ୍କ ଏସିଆରେ ଯେପରି ସମୟ କ୍ଷେପଣ କରିବାକୁ ନ ପଡ଼େ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସେ ଏଫିସ ଛାଡ଼ି ଯାତ୍ରା କରିବାକୁ ସ୍ଥିର କରିଥିଲେ, ଯେଣୁ ସମ୍ଭବ ହେଲେ ପେଣ୍ଟିକଷ୍ଟ ଦିନରେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ସହରରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ସେ ଚଞ୍ଚଳ ହେଉଥିଲେ।

for Paul had determined to leave Ephesus as they sayled because he wolde not spende ye tyme in Asia. For he hasted to be (yf he coulde possible) at Ierusalem at the daye of pentecoste.

17 ମୀଲୀତରୁ ସେ ଏଫିସ ସହରକୁ ଲୋକ ପଠାଇ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀର ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ନିକଟକୁ ଡକାଇ ଆଣିଲେ।

Wherfore from Myleton he sent to Ephesus and called the elders of the cogregacion.

18 ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଏସିଆରେ ପଦାର୍ପଣ କରିବାର ପ୍ରଥମ ଦିନଠାରୁ ମୁଁ ସମସ୍ତ ସମୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କିପରି ଆଚରଣ କଲି,

And when they were come to him he sayde vnto the: Ye knowe fro the fyrst daye yt I came vnto Asia after what maner I have bene wt you at all ceasons

19 ଅଶ୍ରୁପାତ ସହିତ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନମ୍ର ମନରେ ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କର ନାନା ଷଡ଼ଯନ୍ତ୍ର ହେତୁ, ମୋତେ ଯେ ଯେ ପରୀକ୍ଷା ଘଟୁଥିଲା, ସେହିସବୁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କିପରି ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସେବା କରୁଥିଲି,

servynge the lorde with all humblenes of mynde and with many teares and temptacions which happened vnto me by the layinges awayte of the Ieues

20 କିପରି କୌଣସି ହିତକର ବିଷୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖରେ ଜଣାଇବାକୁ ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରକାଶରେ ଓ ଘରେ ଘରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେବାକୁ ସଙ୍କୁଚିତ ନ ହୋଇ,

and how I kept backe no thinge that was profitable: but that I have shewed you and taught you openly and at home in youre houses

21 ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମନ-ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ବିଷୟରେ ଯିହୁଦୀ ଓ ଗ୍ରୀକ୍‍ମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେଉଥିଲି, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣ।

witnessinge bothe to the Iewes and also to the Grekes the repentaunce toward God and faith towarde oure Lorde Iesu.

22 ଏବେ ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ଆତ୍ମାରେ ପ୍ରେରଣା ପାଇ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ସହରକୁ ଯାଉଅଛି, ସେ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ମୋ ପ୍ରତି କଅଣ ସବୁ ଘଟିବ, ତାହା ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ନାହିଁ;

And now beholde I goo bounde in the sprete vnto Ierusalem and knowe not what shall come on me there

23 ମୋ ପାଇଁ ଯେ ବନ୍ଧନ ଓ କ୍ଲେଶ ରହିଅଛି, କେବଳ ଏତିକି ଜାଣେ, ଏହା ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ନଗରେ ନଗରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେଉଅଛନ୍ତି।

but that the holy goost witnesseth in every cite sayinge: yt bondes and trouble abyde me.

24 କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ଯେପରି ମୋହର ନିରୂପିତ ପଥର ଶେଷ ଯାଏ ଦୌଡ଼ି ପାରେ, ଆଉ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହର ସୁସମାଚାର ପକ୍ଷରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଯେଉଁ ସେବାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପାଇଅଛି, ତାହା ଯେପରି ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିପାରେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ପ୍ରିୟ ଜ୍ଞାନ ନ କରି ତାହା ଛୋଟ ମନେ କରୁଅଛି।

But none of tho thinges move me: nether is my lyfe dere vnto my selfe that I myght fulfill my course wt ioye and the ministracio which I have receaved of ye Lorde Iesu to testify the gospell of ye grace of god.

25 ପୁଣି, ଏବେ ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମୁଁ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଘୋଷଣା କରୁ କରୁ ଭ୍ରମଣ କଲି, ଏପରି ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ, ଆଉ ମୋହର ମୁଖ ଦେଖିବ ନାହିଁ ବୋଲି ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ।

And now beholde I am sure yt hence forth ye all (thorow who I have gone preachinge ye kyngdome of God) shall se my face no moore.

26 ଏହେତୁରୁ ମୁଁ ଯେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକଙ୍କ ରକ୍ତର ଦାୟିତ୍ୱରୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷ, ମୁଁ ଆଜି ଏହି ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଉଅଛି।

Wherfore I take you to recorde this same daye that I am pure fro the bloude of all me.

27 ମୁଁ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସଙ୍କଳ୍ପ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇବାକୁ ସଙ୍କୁଚିତ ହୋଇ ନ ଥିଲି।

For I have kepte nothinge backe: but have shewed you all the counsell of God.

28 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ବିଷୟରେ, ଆଉ ଯେଉଁ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀକୁ ଈଶ୍ବର ଆପଣା ନିଜ ରକ୍ତରେ କ୍ରୟ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହାଙ୍କର ସେହି ମଣ୍ଡଳୀକୁ ପ୍ରତିପାଳନ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ, ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମସ୍ତ ପଲ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ସାବଧାନ ହୋଇଥାଅ।

Take hede therfore vnto youre selves and to all the flocke wherof the holy goost hath made you oversears to rule the congregacion of God which he hath purchased with his bloud.

29 ମୋହର ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ ପରେ ନିଷ୍ଠୁର ବାଘଗୁଡ଼ାକ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ପଲ ପ୍ରତି ଦୟାହୀନ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରିବେ,

For I am sure of this that after my departynge shall greveous wolves entre in amonge you which will not spare the flocke.

30 ପୁଣି, ଲୋକେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଉଠି ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପଛରେ ଟାଣିନେବା ପାଇଁ ବିପରୀତ କଥାଗୁଡ଼ାକ କହିବେ, ଏହା ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ।

Moreover of youre awne selves shall men aryse speakinge perverse thinges to drawe disciples after the.

31 ଅତଏବ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଗି ରୁହ, ଆଉ ମୁଁ ତିନି ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦିବାରାତ୍ର ଲୋତକ ସହିତ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଜଣକୁ ଚେତନା ଦେବାକୁ ଯେ ବନ୍ଦ କରି ନ ଥିଲି, ଏହା ମନେ ପକାଅ।

Therfore awake and remember that by the space of. iii. yeares I ceased not to warne every one of you both nyght and daye with teares.

32 ମୁଁ ଏବେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହର ବାକ୍ୟ ନିକଟରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରୁଅଛି, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଷ୍ଠାବାନ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଓ ପବିତ୍ରୀକୃତ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅଧିକାର ଦେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସମର୍ଥ ଅଟନ୍ତି।

And now brethren I comende you to God and to the worde of his grace which is able to bylde further and to geve you an inheritaunce amoge all them which are sanctified.

33 ମୁଁ କାହାରି ରୂପା କି ସୁନା କି ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଲୋଭ କରି ନ ଥିଲି।

I have desyred no mas silver golde or vesture.

34 ମୋହର ଏହି ହାତ ଦୁଇଟି ଯେ ମୋହର ଓ ମୋ ସଙ୍ଗୀମାନଙ୍କର ଅଭାବ ପୂରଣ ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେବା କରିଆସୁଅଛି, ନିଜେ ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣ।

Ye knowe well yt these hondes have ministred vnto my necessities and to them that were wt me.

35 ଏହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରି ଦୁର୍ବଳମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରିବା, ପୁଣି, “ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଦାନ କରିବା ଅତି ଉତ୍ତମ,” ଏହି ଯେଉଁ କଥା ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁ ସ୍ୱୟଂ କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହା ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଯେ ଉଚିତ, ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଦର୍ଶ ଦେଖାଇଅଛି।

I have shewed you all thinges how that so laborynge ye ought to receave the weake and to remember the wordes of the Lorde Iesu howe that he sayde: It is more blessed to geve then to receave.

36 ଏହିସବୁ କଥା କହିଲା ପରେ, ସେ ଆଣ୍ଠୁପାତି ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ସହିତ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ।

When he had thus spoken he kneled doune and prayed with them all.

37 ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରୋଦନ କରି ପାଉଲଙ୍କ ଗଳା ଧରି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଚୁମ୍ବନ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ,

And they wept all aboundantly and fell on Pauls necke and kissed him

38 ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ମୁଖ ପୁଣି, ଆଉ ଥରେ ଦେଖିବେ ନାହିଁ ବୋଲି ପାଉଲ ଯେ କଥା କହିଥିଲେ, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ବିଶେଷ ରୂପେ ଦୁଃଖ କଲେ। ପରେ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଜାହାଜ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଘେନିଗଲେ।

sorowinge most of all for the wordes which he spake that they shuld se his face no moore. And they acompanyed him vnto the shyppe.
