ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ଶାମୁୟେଲ 22
1 ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମସ୍ତ ଶତ୍ରୁ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଓ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତରୁ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କଲେ, ସେହି ସମୟରେ ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଏହି ଗୀତ ଗାନ କଲେ;
And David spake unto Yahweh, the words of this song, in the day when Yahweh had rescued him, out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul;
2 ସେ କହିଲେ, “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋହର ଶୈଳ ଓ ମୋହର ଗଡ଼ ଓ ମୋହର ରକ୍ଷାକର୍ତ୍ତା,
and he said, —Yahweh, was my mountain crag and my stronghold, and my deliverer—mine;
3 ମୋହର ଶୈଳ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ଆଶ୍ରୟ ନେବି। ମୋହର ଢାଲ ଓ ମୋହର ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଶୃଙ୍ଗ, ମୋହର ଉଚ୍ଚ ଦୁର୍ଗ ଓ ମୋହର ଆଶ୍ରୟ; ମୋହର ତ୍ରାଣକର୍ତ୍ତା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଦୌରାତ୍ମ୍ୟରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଥାଅ।
My God, was my rock, I sought refuge in him, —My shield, and my horn of salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, My Saviour! from violence, thou didst save me.
4 ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଆହ୍ୱାନ କରିବି, ସେ ପ୍ରଶଂସିତ ହେବା ଯୋଗ୍ୟ; ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣଠାରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ପାଇବି।
As one worthy to be praised, called I on Yahweh, —And, from my foes, was I saved.
5 କାରଣ ମୃତ୍ୟୁୁରୂପ ଲହରୀ ମୋତେ ବେଷ୍ଟନ କଲା, ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ଲାବନ(ଜୁଆର) ମୋତେ ଭୀତ କଲା।
When the breakers of death had encompassed me, —the torrents of perdition, made me afraid, —
the meshes of hades, had surrounded me, —the snares of death had confronted me, (Sheol h7585)
7 ମୋହର ସଙ୍କଟ ବେଳେ ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଡାକିଲି, ହଁ, ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ଡାକିଲି; ତହୁଁ ସେ ଆପଣା ମନ୍ଦିରରେ ଥାଇ ମୋହର ରବ ଶୁଣିଲେ ଓ ମୋହର ଆର୍ତ୍ତନାଦ ତାହାଙ୍କ କର୍ଣ୍ଣରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା।
In my distress, called I on Yahweh, Yea, unto my God, did I call, —and he hearkened, out of his temple, unto my voice, and, my cry for help, was in his ears!
8 ସେତେବେଳେ ପୃଥିବୀ ଟଳମଳ ଓ କମ୍ପିତ ହେଲା, ଗଗନମଣ୍ଡଳର ମୂଳସକଳ ଉଦ୍ବିଗ୍ନ ଓ ଟଳମଳ ହେଲା, କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ହୋଇ ଉଠିଲେ।
Then did the earth shake and quake, the foundations of the heavens, were deeply moved, —yea they did shake, because he was angry,
9 ତାହାଙ୍କ ନାସାରନ୍ଧ୍ରରୁ ଧୂମ ନିର୍ଗତ ହେଲା ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ମୁଖରୁ ନିର୍ଗତ ଅଗ୍ନି ଗ୍ରାସ କଲା; ତଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଅଙ୍ଗାର ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ହେଲା।
There went up a smoke in his nostrils, and, a fire out of his mouth, devoured, —live coals, were kindled from it:
10 ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳକୁ ମେଲା କରି ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆସିଲେ ଓ ନିବିଡ଼ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଦ ତଳେ ଥିଲା।
Then he stretched out the heavens, and came down, —and, thick gloom, was under his feet;
11 ପୁଣି ସେ କିରୂବ ଉପରେ ଆରୋହଣ କରି ଉଡ୍ଡୀୟମାନ ହେଲେ; ହଁ, ସେ ବାୟୁର ପକ୍ଷ ଉପରେ ଦେଖାଗଲେ।
Then he rode on a cherub, and flew, —and was seen on the wings of the wind;
12 ସେ ଅନ୍ଧକାରକୁ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଜଳରାଶି ଓ ଆକାଶର ନିବିଡ଼ ମେଘକୁ ଆପଣା ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗସ୍ଥ କୁଟୀର ସ୍ୱରୂପ କଲେ।
And made of the darkness around him, pavilions, —gathering of waters, clouds of vapours.
13 ତାହାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ତେଜରେ ଆଗ୍ନେୟ-ଅଙ୍ଗାର ପତିତ ହେଲା।
Out of the brightness before him, were kindled live coals of fire;
14 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆକାଶରୁ ଗର୍ଜ୍ଜନ କଲେ ଓ ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥ ଯେ, ସେ ଆପଣା ରବ ଉଚ୍ଚାରଣ କଲେ।
Thunder from the heavens, did Yahweh give forth, —yea, the Highest, uttered his voice;
15 ପୁଣି ସେ ବାଣ ନିକ୍ଷେପ କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କଲେ; ବିଜୁଳି ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କଲେ।
And he sent forth arrows, and scattered them, —lightning, and confused them;
16 ସେତେବେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ତର୍ଜ୍ଜନରେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନାସିକାର ପ୍ରଶ୍ୱାସ ବାୟୁରେ ସମୁଦ୍ରର ଗର୍ଭ ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇଲା ଓ ଭୂମଣ୍ଡଳର ମୂଳସକଳ ଦେଖାଗଲା।
Then appeared the channels of the sea, were uncovered the foundations of the world, —at the rebuke of Yahweh, the blast of the breath of his nostrils;
17 ସେ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ବରୁ (ହାତ) ବଢ଼ାଇଲେ, ସେ ମୋତେ ଧରିଲେ; ସେ ଅପାର ଜଳ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ମୋତେ ଟାଣି ନେଲେ।
He sent from on high, he took me, —he drew me out of many waters;
18 ସେ ମୋହର ବଳବାନ ଶତ୍ରୁଠାରୁ ଓ ମୋହର ଘୃଣାକାରୀମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମୋତେ ରକ୍ଷା କଲେ; କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ଠାରୁ ଅତି ବଳବାନ ଥିଲେ।
He rescued me from my foe, in his might, —from them who hated me, because they were too strong for me:
19 ସେମାନେ ମୋହର ବିପଦ ଦିନରେ ମୋର ସମ୍ମୁଖବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହେଲେ; ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋର ସହାୟ ହେଲେ।
They confronted me, in the day of my necessity, —then became Yahweh my stay:
20 ସେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋତେ ବାହାର କରି ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ପହଞ୍ଚାଇଲେ; ସେ ମୋତେ ରକ୍ଷା କଲେ, କାରଣ ସେ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ହେଲେ।
And brought out, into a large place, even me, —he delivered me, because he delighted in me:
21 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋର ଧାର୍ମିକତାନୁସାରେ ମୋତେ ପୁରସ୍କାର ଦେଲେ; ମୋର ହସ୍ତର ପବିତ୍ରତାନୁସାରେ ମୋତେ ଫଳ ଦେଲେ।
Yahweh rewarded me, according to my righteousness—according to the cleanness of my hands, he repaid me:
22 କାରଣ ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପଥ ଧରିଲି ଓ ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାପୂର୍ବକ ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ତ୍ୟାଗ କଲି ନାହିଁ।
For I had kept the ways of Yahweh, —and not broken away from my God;
23 ଯେହେତୁ ତାହାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ଶାସନ ମୋହର ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଥିଲା ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କର ବିଧିସକଳ ମୁଁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କଲି ନାହିଁ।
For, all his regulations, were before me, —and, as for his statutes, I turned not from them.
24 ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସିଦ୍ଧ ଥିଲି ଓ ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଅଧର୍ମରୁ ଆପଣାକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କଲି।
So became I blameless towards him, —and kept myself from mine iniquity:
25 ଏହେତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋର ଧାର୍ମିକତାନୁସାରେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ମୋହର ପବିତ୍ରତାନୁସାରେ ମୋତେ ଫଳ ଦେଲେ।
Yahweh therefore repaid me, according to my righteousness, —according to my pureness before his eyes.
26 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୟାଳୁ ପ୍ରତି ଆପଣାକୁ ଦୟାଳୁ ଓ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାକୁ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଦେଖାଇବ।
With the loving, thou didst show thyself loving, —with the blameless hero, thou didst show thyself blameless;
27 ଶୁଚି ଲୋକ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାକୁ ଶୁଚି ଦେଖାଇବ ଓ କୁଟିଳ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାକୁ ଚତୁର ଦେଖାଇବ।
With the pure, thou didst show thyself pure, —but, with the perverse, thou didst shew thyself ready to contend:
28 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୁଃଖୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର; ମାତ୍ର ଉଦ୍ଧତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନତ କରିବାକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ଥାଏ।
And, a patient people, thou didst save, —but, thine eyes, were on the lofty—thou layedst them low;
29 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରଦୀପ; ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋହର ଅନ୍ଧକାର ଆଲୋକମୟ କରିବେ।
For, thou, wast my lamp, O Yahweh, —and, Yahweh, enlightened my darkness;
30 କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସୈନ୍ୟ ଉପରେ ଦୌଡ଼େ; ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପାଚେରୀ ଡିଏଁ।
For, by thee, I ran through a troop, —by my God, I leapt over a wall.
31 ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତାହାଙ୍କ ପଥ ଯଥାର୍ଥ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ପରୀକ୍ଷାସିଦ୍ଧ; ସେ ଆପଣା ଆଶ୍ରିତ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ଢାଲ।
As for God, blameless is his way, —the speech of Yahweh, hath been proved, a shield, he is to all who seek refuge in him.
32 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବିନା ଆଉ କିଏ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର? ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଛଡ଼ା ଆଉ କିଏ ଶୈଳ?
For who is a GOD, save Yahweh? and who a Rock, save our God?
33 ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମୋହର ଦୃଢ଼ ଆଶ୍ରୟ; ସେ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ପଥରେ କଢ଼ାଇ ନିଅନ୍ତି।
GOD, is my fortress of strength, —and shewed to the blameless his way;
34 ସେ ମୋʼ ର ପାଦକୁ ହରିଣୀର ପାଦ ତୁଲ୍ୟ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ସେ ମୋତେ ମୋʼ ର ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀରେ ବସାନ୍ତି।
Planting my feet like the hinds’, —yea, on my high places, he caused me to stand;
35 ସେ ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତକୁ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଶିଖାନ୍ତି; ତହିଁରେ ମୋହର ବାହୁ ପିତ୍ତଳ ଧନୁ ବଙ୍କା କରେ।
Teaching my hands, to war, —so that a bow of bronze was bent by mine arms;
36 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋତେ ନିଜ ପରିତ୍ରାଣରୂପ ଢାଲ ଦେଇଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭର ନମ୍ରତା (ଦୟା) ମୋତେ ବୃଦ୍ଧିପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କରିଅଛି।
Thus didst thou grant me, as a shield, thy salvation, —and, thy condescension, made me great.
37 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ତଳେ ମୋର ପାଦ ରଖିବା ସ୍ଥାନ ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ କରିଅଛ ଓ ମୋହର ଗୋଇଠି ଖସି ଯାଇ ନାହିଁ।
Thou didst widen my stepping-places, under me, —so that mine ankles faltered not:
38 ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିନାଶ କରିଅଛି ଓ ସେମାନେ ସଂହାରିତ ହେବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ମୁଁ ଫେରିଲି ନାହିଁ।
I pursued my foes, and destroyed them, —and returned not, till they were consumed;
39 ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏପରି ସଂହାର ଓ ଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିଅଛି ଯେ, ସେମାନେ ଆଉ ଉଠି ନ ପାରନ୍ତି; ହଁ, ସେମାନେ ମୋର ପାଦ ତଳେ ପତିତ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
So I consumed them, and crushed them, and they rose not again, —thus fell they under my feet:
40 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ନିମନ୍ତେ ବଳରୂପ ବନ୍ଧନୀରେ କଟି ପରି ବଳ ଦେଇଅଛ; ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଉତ୍ଥିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋହର ବଶୀଭୂତ କରିଅଛ।
Thus didst thou gird me with strength, for the battle, —thou subduedst mine assailants under me:
41 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋହର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ପିଠି ମୋʼ ଆଡ଼େ ଫେରାଇଲ, ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଘୃଣାକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କଲି।
And, as for my foes, thou didst give me their neck, —yea, them who hated me, that I might destroy them:
42 ସେମାନେ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ଉଦ୍ଧାରକର୍ତ୍ତା କେହି ନ ଥିଲା; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମଧ୍ୟ (ଅନାଇଲେ), ମାତ୍ର ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ ନାହିଁ।
They cried out, but there was none to save, —unto Yahweh, but he answered them not.
43 ତହୁଁ ମୁଁ ପୃଥିବୀର ଧୂଳି ପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲି, ମୁଁ ସଡ଼କର କାଦୁଅ ପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଳିଲି ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କଲି।
Then did I beat them in pieces, like the dust of the earth, —like the clay of the lanes, did I crush them, stamp them down.
44 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିବାଦରୁ ମୋତେ ରକ୍ଷା କରିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ମସ୍ତକ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ରଖିଅଛ; ମୋହର ଅପରିଚିତ ଲୋକମାନେ ମୋହର ସେବା କରିବେ।
Thus didst thou rescue me from the contentions of my people, didst keep me to be the head of nations: —a people whom I had not known, served me;
45 ବିଦେଶୀୟମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋହର ବଶୀଭୂତ କଲେ; ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ବିଷୟ ଶୁଣିବାମାତ୍ରେ ମୋହର ଆଜ୍ଞାବହ ହେଲେ।
The sons of the foreigner, came cringing unto me, —at the hearing of the ear, they submitted to me, —
46 ବିଦେଶୀୟମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଗୁପ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଥରହର ହୋଇ ବାହାରି ଆସିଲେ।
The sons of the foreigner, were disheartened, and came quaking, out of their fortresses.
47 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ନିତ୍ୟଜୀବୀ; ମୋହର ଶୈଳ ଧନ୍ୟ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ ଓ ମୋʼ ପରିତ୍ରାଣର ଶୈଳ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଉନ୍ନତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ।
Yahweh liveth, and blessed be my rock, —and exalted be the God (of the rock) of my salvation: —
48 ସେହି ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମୋʼ ପକ୍ଷରେ ପରିଶୋଧ ନିଅନ୍ତି ଓ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋʼ ତଳେ ନତ କରନ୍ତି।
The GOD who hath avenged me, and brought down peoples under me;
49 ପୁଣି ସେ ମୋʼ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣଠାରୁ ମୋତେ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣନ୍ତି; ହଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଉତ୍ଥିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ମୋତେ ଉଚ୍ଚୀକୃତ କରୁଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଉପଦ୍ରବୀ ଲୋକଠାରୁ ମୋତେ ରକ୍ଷା କରୁଅଛ।
And brought me forth from among my foes, —yea, from mine assailants, hast thou set me on high, from the man of violence, hast thou delivered me.
50 ଏହେତୁ ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୁଁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ କରିବି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମର ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଗାନ କରିବି।
For this cause, will I praise thee, O Yahweh, among the nations, —and, to thy name, will I touch the strings: —
51 ସେ ଆପଣା ରାଜାକୁ ମହାପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରନ୍ତି; ସେ ଆପଣା ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତ ପ୍ରତି, ଦାଉଦ ଓ ତାହାର ବଂଶ ପ୍ରତି ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ଦୟା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରନ୍ତି।”
Who hath made great the victories of his King, —and shown lovingkindness to his Anointed One, to David and to his Seed, unto times age-abiding.
