ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ରାଜାବଳୀ 21
1 ମନଃଶି ରାଜ୍ୟ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ବାର ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ଥିଲେ ଓ ସେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ପଞ୍ଚାବନ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ ଆଉ ତାଙ୍କର ମାତାଙ୍କ ନାମ ହୀଫ୍ସୀବା ଥିଲା।
Manasseh [was] twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name [was] Hephzi-bah.
2 ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେଉଁ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ଦୂର କରି ଦେଇଥିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ କ୍ରିୟାନୁସାରେ ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ କୁକର୍ମ କଲେ।
And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
3 କାରଣ ତାଙ୍କର ପିତା ହିଜକୀୟ ଯେଉଁ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀମାନ ବିନାଶ କରିଥିଲେ, ସେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ତାହାସବୁ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ଆହାବ ଯେପରି କରିଥିଲେ, ସେପରି ସେ ବାଲ୍ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦିମାନ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ, ଓ ଆଶେରା ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ, ଓ ଆକାଶସ୍ଥ ବାହିନୀ ସକଳକୁ ପୂଜା କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସେବା କଲେ।
For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
4 “ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ଆପଣା ନାମ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା” ବୋଲି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେଉଁ ଗୃହ ବିଷୟରେ କହିଥିଲେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସେହି ଗୃହରେ ସେ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦିମାନ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ।
And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
5 ଆହୁରି ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହର ଦୁଇ ପ୍ରାଙ୍ଗଣରେ ଆକାଶସ୍ଥ ବାହିନୀ ସକଳ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦିମାନ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ।
And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
6 ପୁଣି ସେ ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ଅଗ୍ନି ମଧ୍ୟଦେଇ ଗମନ କରାଇଲେ ଓ ଶୁଭାଶୁଭ କହିବାର ବିଦ୍ୟା, ଓ ଗଣକତା ବ୍ୟବହାର କଲେ, ଆଉ ଭୂତୁଡ଼ିଆ ଓ ଗୁଣିଆମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସମ୍ପର୍କ ରଖିଲେ। ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ବହୁତ କୁକର୍ମ କଲେ।
And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke [him] to anger.
7 ଆହୁରି ସେ ମନ୍ଦିରରେ ଆପଣା ନିର୍ମିତ ଆଶେରାର ଖୋଦିତ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ। ସେହି ମନ୍ଦିର ବିଷୟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କୁ କହିଥିଲେ, “ଏହି ଗୃହରେ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସମୁଦାୟ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଆମ୍ଭର ମନୋନୀତ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ନାମ ଚିରକାଳ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା।
And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
8 ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ସମସ୍ତ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇଅଛୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ସେବକ ମୋଶା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେସମସ୍ତ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଆଜ୍ଞା କରିଅଛି, କେବଳ ତଦନୁସାରେ ଆଚରଣ କରିବାକୁ ଯଦି ସେମାନେ ମନୋଯୋଗୀ ହେବେ, ତେବେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଦେଇଅଛୁ, ତହିଁରୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପାଦକୁ ଆଉ ଭ୍ରମଣ କରାଇବା ନାହିଁ।”
Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
9 ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ଶୁଣିଲେ ନାହିଁ; ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିନାଶ କରିଥିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକ କୁକର୍ମ କରିବାକୁ ମନଃଶି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୁଲାଇଲେ।
But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
10 ଏଥିରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ସେବକ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଗଣ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଏହି କଥା କହିଲେ,
And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying,
11 “ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ମନଃଶି ଏହି ସକଳ ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ କର୍ମ କରିଅଛି ଓ ତାହାର ପୂର୍ବେ ଯେଉଁ ଇମୋରୀୟମାନେ ଥିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକ ଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମ କରିଅଛି ଓ ଯିହୁଦାକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପାପ କରାଇଅଛି।
Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, [and] hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which [were] before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
12 ଏହେତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ଓ ଯିହୁଦା ଉପରେ ଏପରି ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଆଣିବା ଯେ, କେହି ତାହା ଶୁଣିଲେ ତାହାର ଦୁଇ କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଝାଁ ଝାଁ ହେବ।
Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I [am] bringing [such] evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
13 ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ଉପରେ ଶମରୀୟାର ରଜ୍ଜୁ ଓ ଆହାବ-ବଂଶର ଓଳମ ଟାଣିବା ଓ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଯେପରି ଥାଳୀ ପୋଛେ, ଆଉ ପୋଛୁ ପୋଛୁ ତାହା ଓଲଟପାଲଟ କରେ, ସେପରି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ପୋଛି ପକାଇବା।
And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as [a man] wipeth a dish, wiping [it], and turning [it] upside down.
14 ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଅଧିକାରର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶକୁ ଦୂର କରିବା ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବା। ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଶତ୍ରୁ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ମୃଗୟା ଓ ଲୁଟ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବେ।
And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
15 କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ କୁକର୍ମ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ପିତୃଗଣ ମିସରରୁ ବାହାରି ଆସିବାର ଦିନଠାରୁ ଆଜି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।”
Because they have done [that which was] evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.
16 ଆହୁରି ମନଃଶି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ କୁକର୍ମ କରି ଆପଣାର ସେହି ପାପ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଯିହୁଦାକୁ ପାପ କରାଇବା ଛଡ଼ା ସେ ବହୁତ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷ ରକ୍ତପାତ କରି ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଏକ ସୀମାରୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ସୀମା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରକ୍ତରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲେ।
Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD.
17 ଏହି ମନଃଶିଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟା ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପାପ କʼଣ ଯିହୁଦା ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖା ନାହିଁ?
Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
18 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମନଃଶି ମୃତ୍ୟୁବରଣ କଲେ ଓ ଆପଣା ଗୃହର ଉଦ୍ୟାନରେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଉଷର ଉଦ୍ୟାନରେ କବରପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲେ। ତହୁଁ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଆମୋନ୍ ତାଙ୍କର ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
19 ଆମୋନ୍ ରାଜ୍ୟ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ବାଇଶ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ଥିଲେ ଓ ସେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ଦୁଇ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ ତାଙ୍କର ମାତାର ନାମ ମଶୁଲ୍ଲେମତ୍, ସେ ଯଟ୍ବା ନିବାସୀ ହାରୁଷଙ୍କର କନ୍ୟା ଥିଲେ।
Amon [was] twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name [was] Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
20 ପୁଣି ଆମୋନ୍ ଆପଣା ପିତା ମନଃଶିଙ୍କ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ କୁକର୍ମ କଲେ।
And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.
21 ତାଙ୍କର ପିତା ଯେଉଁ ପଥରେ ଚାଲିଥିଲେ, ସେ ସେହି ସମସ୍ତ ପଥରେ ଚାଲିଲେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପିତା ଯେଉଁ ଦେବତାମାନଙ୍କର ସେବା କରିଥିଲେ, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସେବା କଲେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପୂଜା କଲେ।
And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:
22 ଆହୁରି ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କର ପିତୃଗଣର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ତ୍ୟାଗ କଲେ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପଥରେ ଚାଲିଲେ ନାହିଁ।
And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.
23 ଆମୋନ୍ଙ୍କର ଦାସମାନେ ତାଙ୍କର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଚକ୍ରାନ୍ତ କଲେ ଓ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କର ନିଜ ଗୃହରେ ବଧ କଲେ।
And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.
24 ମାତ୍ର ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମୋନ୍ ରାଜା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଚକ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରିଥିଲେ, ସେସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଦେଶର ଲୋକମାନେ ବଧ କଲେ, ଆଉ ଦେଶର ଲୋକମାନେ ତାଙ୍କର ପଦରେ ତାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋଶୀୟଙ୍କୁ ରାଜା କଲେ।
And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
25 ଏହି ଆମୋନ୍ଙ୍କର କୃତ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ କ୍ରିୟାର ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ କʼଣ ଯିହୁଦା ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖା ନାହିଁ?
Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
26 ପୁଣି ସେ ଉଷର ଉଦ୍ୟାନସ୍ଥିତ ଆପଣା କବରରେ କବର ପାଇଲେ, ଆଉ ତାଙ୍କର ପଦରେ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋଶୀୟ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.
