ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ରାଜାବଳୀ 15

1 ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ଯାରବୀୟାମଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ସତାଇଶ ବର୍ଷରେ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଅମତ୍‍ସୀୟଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଅସରୀୟ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ।

In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah son of Amaziah, king of Judah, has reigned;

2 ସେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ଷୋଳ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ହୋଇଥିଲେ; ଆଉ ସେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ବାବନ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ; ତାଙ୍କ ମାତାଙ୍କର ନାମ ଯିଖଲୀୟା, ସେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ନିବାସିନୀ ଥିଲେ।

he was a son of sixteen years in his reigning, and he has reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Jecholiah of Jerusalem,

3 ପୁଣି ସେ ଆପଣା ପିତା ଅମତ୍‍ସୀୟଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟାନୁସାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଯଥାର୍ଥ କର୍ମ କଲେ।

and he does that which [is] right in the eyes of YHWH, according to all that his father Amaziah did,

4 ତଥାପି ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀମାନ ଦୂରୀକୃତ ହେଲା ନାହିଁ; ଲୋକମାନେ ସେସମୟରେ ହେଁ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀମାନରେ ବଳିଦାନ କଲେ ଓ ଧୂପ ଜ୍ୱଳାଇଲେ।

only, the high places have not been removed—the people are still sacrificing and making incense in high places.

5 ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କଲେ, ତହିଁରେ ସେ ଆପଣା ମରଣ ଦିନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ କୁଷ୍ଠୀ ହୋଇ ଏକ ପୃଥକ ଗୃହରେ ବାସ କଲେ। ଆଉ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋଥମ୍‍ ଗୃହର କର୍ତ୍ତା ହୋଇ ଦେଶସ୍ଥ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କଲେ।

And YHWH strikes the king, and he is a leper to the day of his death, and he dwells in a separate house, and Jotham son of the king [is] over the house, judging the people of the land.

6 ଏହି ଅସରୀୟଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟା କʼଣ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖା ନାହିଁ?

And the rest of the matters of Azariah and all that he did, are they not written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

7 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଅସରୀୟ ମୃତ୍ୟୁବରଣ କଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦାଉଦ-ନଗରରେ ତାଙ୍କର ପିତୃଗଣ ସହିତ କବର ଦେଲେ; ତହୁଁ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋଥମ୍‍ ତାଙ୍କର ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।

And Azariah lies with his fathers, and they bury him with his fathers in the city of David, and his son Jotham reigns in his stead.

8 ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଅସରୀୟଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ଅଠତିରିଶି ବର୍ଷରେ ଯାରବୀୟାମଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଜିଖରୀୟ ଶମରୀୟାରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ଛଅ ମାସ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।

In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah son of Jeroboam has reigned over Israel in Samaria, six months,

9 ପୁଣି ସେ ଆପଣା ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ କୁକର୍ମ କଲେ; ନବାଟର ପୁତ୍ର ଯାରବୀୟାମ ଯଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ପାପ କରାଇଥିଲେ, ତାଙ୍କର ସେହି ସମସ୍ତ ପାପରୁ ସେ ବିମୁଖ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ।

and he does evil in the eyes of YHWH as his fathers did; he has not turned aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he caused Israel to sin.

10 ଆଉ ଯାବେଶଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଶଲ୍ଲୁମ୍‍ ତାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଚକ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରି ଓ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କରି ବଧ କଲେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।

And Shallum son of Jabesh conspires against him, and strikes him before the people, and puts him to death, and reigns in his stead.

11 ଏହି ଜିଖରୀୟଙ୍କ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲିଖିତ ଅଛି।

And the rest of the matters of Zechariah, behold, they are written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

12 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେହୂଙ୍କୁ ଏହି କଥା କହିଥିଲେ, ଯଥା, “ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ଚତୁର୍ଥ ପୁରୁଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସିଂହାସନରେ ଉପବିଷ୍ଟ ହେବେ।” ଆଉ ସେହିପରି ହେଲା।

It [is] the word of YHWH that He spoke to Jehu, saying, “Sons of the fourth [generation] sit on the throne of Israel for you”; and it is so.

13 ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଉଷୀୟଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ଅଣଚାଳିଶ ବର୍ଷରେ ଯାବେଶଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଶଲ୍ଲୁମ୍‍ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ; ଆଉ ସେ ଶମରୀୟାରେ ଏକ ମାସ କାଳ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।

Shallum son of Jabesh has reigned in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah, and he reigns a month of days in Samaria;

14 ଆଉ ଗାଦିର ପୁତ୍ର ମନହେମ୍‍ ତିର୍ସାରୁ ଯାଇ ଶମରୀୟାରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ ଓ ଯାବେଶଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଶଲ୍ଲୁମ୍‍ଙ୍କୁ ଶମରୀୟାରେ ଆଘାତ କରି ବଧ କଲେ, ପୁଣି ତାଙ୍କ ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।

and Menahem son of Gadi goes up from Tirzah and comes to Samaria, and strikes Shallum son of Jabesh in Samaria, and puts him to death, and reigns in his stead.

15 ଏହି ଶଲ୍ଲୁମ୍‍ଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର କୃତ ଚକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲିଖିତ ଅଛି।

And the rest of the matters of Shallum and his conspiracy that he made, behold, they are written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

16 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମନହେମ୍‍ ତିର୍ସାଠାରୁ, ତିପ୍ସହ ଓ ତନ୍ମଧ୍ୟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ, ପୁଣି ତିପ୍ସହର ସମସ୍ତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳକୁ ଆଘାତ କଲେ। ଲୋକମାନେ ତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ନଗର ମୁକ୍ତ ନ କରିବାରୁ ସେ ତାହା ଆଘାତ କଲେ; ପୁଣି ତନ୍ମଧ୍ୟବର୍ତ୍ତିନୀ ଗର୍ଭବତୀ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ଉଦର ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲେ।

Then Menahem strikes Tiphsah, and all who [are] in it, and its borders from Tirzah, for it did not open [to him], and he strikes [it], [and] he has ripped up all its pregnant women.

17 ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଅସରୀୟଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ଅଣଚାଳିଶ ବର୍ଷରେ ଗାଦିର ପୁତ୍ର ମନହେମ୍‍ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ଶମରୀୟାରେ ଦଶ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।

In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem son of Gadi has reigned over Israel in Samaria, ten years.

18 ପୁଣି ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ କୁକର୍ମ କଲେ; ନବାଟର ପୁତ୍ର ଯାରବୀୟାମ ଯଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ପାପ କରାଇଥିଲେ, ତାଙ୍କର ସେହି ସମସ୍ତ ପାପରୁ ସେ ଆପଣାର ଯାବଜ୍ଜୀବନ ବିମୁଖ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ।

And he does evil in the eyes of YHWH; he has not turned aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he caused Israel to sin, all his days.

19 ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ପୂଲ୍‍ ଦେଶର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆସନ୍ତେ, ମନହେମ୍‍ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଦୃଢ଼ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଯେପରି ପୂଲ୍‍ର ହସ୍ତ ତାଙ୍କର ସହାୟ ହେବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସେ ତାହାକୁ ଏକ ସହସ୍ର ତାଳନ୍ତ ରୂପା ଦେଲେ।

Pul king of Asshur has come against the land, and Menahem gives one thousand talents of silver to Pul, for his hand being with him to strengthen the kingdom in his hand.

20 ପୁଣି ମନହେମ୍‍ ଏହି ମୁଦ୍ରା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଆଦାୟ କଲେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ଅଶୂରର ରାଜାକୁ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ସମଗ୍ର ଧନଶାଳୀ ଲୋକଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିଜଣଠାରୁ ପଚାଶ ଶେକଲ ଲେଖାଏଁ ରୂପା ନେଲେ, ତହିଁରେ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ଫେରିଗଲା ଓ ଦେଶର ସେସ୍ଥାନରେ ରହିଲା ନାହିଁ।

And Menahem brings out the silver [from] Israel, [from] all the mighty men of wealth, to give to the king of Asshur, fifty shekels of silver for each one, and the king of Asshur turns back and has not stayed there in the land.

21 ଏହି ମନହେମ୍‍ଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟା କʼଣ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖା ନାହିଁ?

And the rest of the matters of Menahem and all that he did, are they not written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?

22 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମନହେମ୍‍ ମୃତ୍ୟୁବରଣ କଲେ; ତହୁଁ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ପକହୀୟ ତାଙ୍କ ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।

And Menahem lies with his fathers, and his son Pekahiah reigns in his stead.

23 ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଅସରୀୟଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ପଚାଶ ବର୍ଷରେ ମନହେମ୍‍ଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ପକହୀୟ ଶମରୀୟାରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ଦୁଇ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।

In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekahiah son of Menahem has reigned over Israel in Samaria, two years,

24 ପୁଣି ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ କୁକର୍ମ କଲେ; ନବାଟର ପୁତ୍ର ଯାରବୀୟାମ ଯଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ପାପ କରାଇଥିଲେ, ତାଙ୍କର ସେହି ସମସ୍ତ ପାପରୁ ସେ ବିମୁଖ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ।

and he does evil in the eyes of YHWH; he has not turned aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he caused Israel to sin.

25 ଆଉ ରମଲୀୟଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ପେକହ ନାମକ ତାଙ୍କର ସେନାପତି ତାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଚକ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରି ତାଙ୍କୁ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଅର୍ଗୋବ ଓ ଅରୀୟିକୁ ଶମରୀୟାସ୍ଥ ରାଜଗୃହର ଦୁର୍ଗରେ ଆଘାତ କଲେ। ପୁଣି ତାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ପଚାଶ ଜଣ ଗିଲୀୟଦୀୟ ଲୋକ ଥିଲେ; ଆଉ ସେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରି ତାଙ୍କ ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।

And Pekah son of Remaliah, his captain, conspires against him, and strikes him in Samaria, in the high place of the house of the king with Argob and Arieh; and fifty men of the sons of the Gileadites [were] with him, and he puts him to death, and reigns in his stead.

26 ଏହି ପକହୀୟଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲିଖିତ ଅଛି।

And the rest of the matters of Pekahiah and all that he did, behold, they are written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

27 ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଅସରୀୟଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ବାବନ ବର୍ଷରେ ରମଲୀୟଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ପେକହ ଶମରୀୟାରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।

In the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekah son of Remaliah has reigned over Israel in Samaria, twenty years,

28 ପୁଣି ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ କୁକର୍ମ କଲେ; ନବାଟର ପୁତ୍ର ଯାରବୀୟାମ ଯଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ପାପ କରାଇଥିଲେ, ତାଙ୍କର ସେହି ସବୁ ପାପରୁ ସେ ବିମୁଖ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ।

and he does evil in the eyes of YHWH, he has not turned aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he caused Israel to sin.

29 ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ପେକହଙ୍କର ସମୟରେ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ତିଗ୍ଲାତ୍‍-ପିଲେସର୍ ଆସି ଇୟୋନ୍‍ ଓ ଆବେଲ୍‍-ବେଥ୍-ମାଖା ଓ ଯାନୋହ ଓ କେଦଶ ଓ ହାସୋର ଓ ଗିଲୀୟଦ ଓ ଗାଲିଲୀ ଓ ସମୁଦାୟ ନପ୍ତାଲି ଦେଶ ହସ୍ତଗତ କଲା; ଆଉ ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ଅଶୂରକୁ ନେଇଗଲା।

In the days of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath-Pileser king of Asshur has come, and takes Ijon, and Abel-Beth-Maachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and removes them to Asshur.

30 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଏଲାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ହୋଶେୟ ରମଲୀୟଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ପେକହଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଚକ୍ରାନ୍ତ କଲେ ଓ ସେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କରି ବଧ କଲେ, ପୁଣି ଉଷୀୟଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋଥମ୍‍ଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରେ ସେ ପେକହଙ୍କ ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।

And Hoshea son of Elah makes a conspiracy against Pekah son of Remaliah, and strikes him, and puts him to death, and reigns in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham son of Uzziah.

31 ଏହି ପେକହଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କର ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲିଖିତ ଅଛି।

And the rest of the matters of Pekah and all that he did, behold, they are written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

32 ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ରମଲୀୟଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ପେକହଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ବର୍ଷରେ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଉଷୀୟଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋଥମ୍‍ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ।

In the second year of Pekah son of Remaliah, king of Israel, Jotham son of Uzziah, king of Judah, has reigned.

33 ସେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ପଚିଶ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ହୋଇଥିଲେ ଓ ସେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ଷୋଳ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ। ଆଉ ତାଙ୍କ ମାତାଙ୍କର ନାମ ଯିରୁଶା, ସେ ସାଦୋକର କନ୍ୟା ଥିଲେ।

He was a son of twenty-five years in his reigning, and he has reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Jerusha daughter of Zadok,

34 ଯୋଥମ୍‍ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଯଥାର୍ଥ କର୍ମ କଲେ; ସେ ଆପଣା ପିତା ଉଷୀୟଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟାନୁସାରେ କର୍ମ କଲେ।

and he does that which [is] right in the eyes of YHWH; he has done according to all that his father Uzziah did.

35 ତଥାପି ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀମାନ ଦୂରୀକୃତ ହେଲା ନାହିଁ; ଲୋକମାନେ ସେସମୟରେ ହେଁ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀମାନରେ ବଳିଦାନ କଲେ ଓ ଧୂପ ଜ୍ୱଳାଇଲେ। ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହର ଉପର ଦ୍ୱାର ଦୃଢ଼ କଲେ।

Only, the high places have not been removed—the people are still sacrificing and making incense in high places; he has built the high gate of the house of YHWH.

36 ଏହି ଯୋଥମ୍‍ଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟା କʼଣ ଯିହୁଦା ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖା ନାହିଁ?

And the rest of the matters of Jotham and all that he did, are they not written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

37 ସେସମୟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅରାମର ରାଜା ରତ୍ସୀନକୁ ଓ ରମଲୀୟଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ପେକହଙ୍କୁ ଯିହୁଦା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପଠାଇବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ।

In those days YHWH has begun to send Rezin king of Amram and Pekah son of Remaliah against Judah.

38 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯୋଥମ୍‍ ମୃତ୍ୟୁବରଣ କଲେ ଓ ଆପଣା ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ନଗରରେ ଆପଣା ପିତୃଗଣ ସହିତ କବରପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲେ; ତହୁଁ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଆହସ୍‌ ତାଙ୍କର ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
