କରିନ୍ଥୀୟଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ପତ୍ର 9

1 ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ସାଧୁମାନଙ୍କ ସେବା ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଲେଖିବା ମୋʼ ପକ୍ଷରେ ବାହୁଲ୍ୟମାତ୍ର;

For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:

2 କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଆଗ୍ରହ ଜାଣେ, ଆଉ ସେ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧରେ ମାକିଦନିଆ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ମୁଁ ଦର୍ପ କରେ ଯେ, ଆଖାୟାର ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନେ ଗତ ବର୍ଷରୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହେଲେଣି, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍‌ଯୋଗ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଅଧିକାଂଶ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ସାହିତ କରିଅଛି।

For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.

3 ତଥାପି ମୁଁ ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଉଅଛି, ଯେପରି ଏ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଦର୍ପ ବ୍ୟର୍ଥ ନ ହୁଏ, ପୁଣି, ମୋହର କଥାନୁସାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହୁଅ,

Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:

4 କାଳେ ମାକିଦନିଆର କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଯେବେ ମୋʼ ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ଆସି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଦେଖନ୍ତି, ତେବେ (ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କଥା ତେଣେ ଥାଉ) ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏହି ଦୃଢ଼ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ବିଷୟରେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେବା।

Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.

5 ଏଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପୂର୍ବରୁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିବା ଦାନ ଯେପରି କୃପଣତାର ବିଷୟ ନ ହୋଇ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛନ୍ଦତାର ବିଷୟ ହୁଏ, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ସେହି ଦାନସଂଗ୍ରହର ଆୟୋଜନ କରିବାକୁ ଆଗେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରିବାକୁ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ମନେ କଲି।

Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as [a matter of] bounty, and not as [of] covetousness.

6 କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହା ସତ୍ୟ, ଯେ ଅଳ୍ପ ବୁଣେ, ସେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅଳ୍ପ କାଟିବ; ଆଉ ଯେ ପ୍ରଚୁର ବୁଣେ, ସେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚୁର କାଟିବ।

But this [I say], He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

7 ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଜଣ ଆପଣା ହୃଦୟରେ ଯେପରି ସଂକଳ୍ପ କରିଅଛି, ସେହିପରି କରୁ, କୁଣ୍ଠିତ ଭାବରେ ନୁହେଁ ଅବା ବାଧ୍ୟବାଧକତା ହେତୁରୁ ନୁହେଁ; କାରଣ ଈଶ୍ବର ହୃଷ୍ଟଚିତ୍ତଦାତାକୁ ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି।

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, [so let him give]; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

8 ଆଉ, ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟ ସର୍ବଦା ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ ରୂପେ ପାଇ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପରି ସମସ୍ତ ଉତ୍ତମ କର୍ମ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅଧିକରୁ ଅଧିକତର ଦାନ କରିପାର, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ଈଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସର୍ବ ପ୍ରକାର ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ପ୍ରଚୁର ଭାବରେ ଦେବାକୁ ସମର୍ଥ ଅଟନ୍ତି,

And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all [things], may abound to every good work:

9 ଯେପରି ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରରେ ଲେଖାଅଛି, “ସେ ମୁକ୍ତ ହସ୍ତରେ ବିତରଣ କରିଅଛି, ସେ ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦାନ ଦେଇଅଛି, ତାହାର ଧାର୍ମିକତା ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ।” (aiōn g165)

(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. (aiōn g165)

10 ଆଉ, ଯେ ବୀଜବପନକାରୀକୁ ବୀଜ ଓ ଭୋଜନ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆହାର ଯୋଗାନ୍ତି, ସେ ବୁଣିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବୀଜ ଯୋଗାଇବେ ଓ ତାହା ବଢ଼ାଇବେ, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଧାର୍ମିକତାର ଫଳ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରିବେ;

Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for [your] food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness; )

11 ଏହିପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସବୁ ବିଷୟରେ ଧନୀ ହୋଇ ସର୍ବ ପ୍ରକାର ବଦାନ୍ୟତା ଦେଖାଇପାରିବ, ଆଉ ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦର କାରଣ ହେବ।

Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

12 କାରଣ ଏହି ଦାନରୂପ ସେବା ଯେ କେବଳ ସାଧୁମାନଙ୍କର ଅଭାବ ପୂରଣ କରୁଅଛି, ତାହା ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ତଦ୍ୱାରା ମଧ୍ୟ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ବହୁ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଉଛୁଳି ଉଠୁଅଛି,

For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;

13 ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍ ଏହି ସେବା କର୍ମର ପ୍ରମାଣ ପାଇ ଲୋକେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱୀକାର କରୁଥିବା ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ସୁସମାଚାର ପ୍ରତି ବାଧ୍ୟତା, ପୁଣି, ସାଧୁମାନଙ୍କ ଓ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହଭାଗିତାର ସରଳତା ସକାଶେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମହିମା କୀର୍ତ୍ତନ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି,

Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for [your] liberal distribution unto them, and unto all [men];

14 ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଅତ୍ୟଧିକ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ହେତୁ ସେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରୁ କରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଅନୁରକ୍ତ ଅଟନ୍ତି।

And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.

15 ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଅକଥନୀୟ ଦାନ ଯାହା ତାହାଙ୍କ ଏକମାତ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ହେଉ।

Thanks [be] unto God for his unspeakable gift.
