ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ବଂଶାବଳୀ 9
1 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଶିବା ଦେଶର ରାଣୀ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ସୁଖ୍ୟାତି ଶୁଣି ନିଗୂଢ଼ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ଓ ବିସ୍ତର ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ମଣିବାହକ ଉଷ୍ଟ୍ରଗଣ ସଙ୍ଗେ ନେଇ ମହାସମାରୋହରେ ଆସିଲା; ପୁଣି ସେ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ଆପଣା ମନରେ ଯାହା ଯାହା ଥିଲା, ସେସବୁ ବିଷୟରେ ତାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କଲା।
And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to test Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great caravan, and camels that bore spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones. And when she came to Solomon, she conversed with him of all that was in her heart.
2 ତହିଁରେ ଶଲୋମନ ତାହାର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନର ଉତ୍ତର କଲେ ଓ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ବୋଧାଗମ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ବିଷୟ ନ ଥିଲା, ଯାହା ସେ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ ନାହିଁ।
And Solomon answered to her all her questions. And there was not anything hid from Solomon that he did not answer her.
3 ପୁଣି ଶିବାର ରାଣୀ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ନିର୍ମିତ ଗୃହ
And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built,
4 ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ମେଜର ଖାଦ୍ୟଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଭୃତ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କର ଆସନ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କର ସେବା ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପାତ୍ରବାହକଗଣ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହକୁ ଉଠି ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ତାହାର ପାବଚ୍ଛ, ଏହିସବୁ ଦେଖି ହତଜ୍ଞାନ ହେଲା।
and the food of his table, and the seating of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, also his cupbearers, and their apparel, and his ascent by which he went up to the house of Jehovah, there was no more spirit in her.
5 ତହୁଁ ସେ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲା, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦେଶରେ ଥାଇ ଆପଣଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଓ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଜ୍ଞାନ ବିଷୟରେ ଯେଉଁ ସମ୍ବାଦ ପାଇଥିଲୁ, ତାହା ସତ୍ୟ।
And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in my own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom.
6 ତଥାପି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆସି ଆପଣା ଚକ୍ଷୁରେ ନ ଦେଖିବା ଯାଏ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର କଥା ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କଲୁ ନାହିଁ; ଆଉ ଦେଖନ୍ତୁ, ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଜ୍ଞାନର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧେକ ମାହାତ୍ମ୍ୟ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ କୁହାଯାଇ ନ ଥିଲା; ଆମ୍ଭ ଶୁଣିବାର ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଆପଣଙ୍କ ସୁଖ୍ୟାତି ଅଧିକ।
However I did not believe their words until I came, and my eyes had seen it. And, behold, the half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me. Thou exceed the fame that I heard.
7 ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଲୋକମାନେ ଧନ୍ୟ, ଆପଣଙ୍କର ଏହି ଦାସମାନେ ଧନ୍ୟ, ସେମାନେ ନିତ୍ୟ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଜ୍ଞାନର କଥା ଶୁଣନ୍ତି।
Happy are thy men, and happy are these thy servants, who stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.
8 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଧନ୍ୟ, ଯେ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ରାଜା ହେବାକୁ ଆପଣା ସିଂହାସନରେ ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ ବସାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି; ଯେଣୁ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରନ୍ତି; ଏହି ହେତୁରୁ ବିଚାର ଓ ନ୍ୟାୟ କରିବାକୁ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ ରାଜା କଲେ।”
Blessed be Jehovah thy God, who delighted in thee, to set thee on his throne to be king for Jehovah thy God. Because thy God loved Israel, to establish them forever, therefore he made thee king over them, to do justice and righteousness.
9 ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ଶହ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ତାଳନ୍ତ ସୁନା ଓ ଅତି ବିସ୍ତର ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ଓ ମଣି ଦେଲା; ଶିବାର ରାଣୀ ଶଲୋମନ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରକାର ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ଦେଲା, ସେପ୍ରକାର ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ଆଉ ନ ଥିଲା।
And she gave the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and spices in great abundance, and precious stones. Neither was there any such spice as the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.
10 ପୁଣି ହୂରମ୍ର ଯେଉଁ ଦାସମାନେ ଓ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ଯେଉଁ ଦାସମାନେ ଓଫୀରରୁ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଆଣିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଚନ୍ଦନ କାଷ୍ଠ ଓ ମଣି ଆଣିଲେ।
And also the servants of Huram, and the servants of Solomon, who brought gold from Ophir, brought algum trees and precious stones.
11 ଆଉ ରାଜା ସେହି ଚନ୍ଦନ କାଷ୍ଠ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହ ଓ ରାଜଗୃହ ପାଇଁ ସୋପାନ ଓ ଗାୟକମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ବୀଣା ଓ ନେବଲ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ; ଏପରି ଚନ୍ଦନ କାଷ୍ଠ ପୂର୍ବରେ ଯିହୁଦା ଦେଶରେ ଦେଖାଯାଇ ନ ଥିଲା।
And the king made of the algum trees terraces for the house of Jehovah, and for the king's house, and harps and psalteries for the singers. And there were none such seen before in the land of Judah.
12 ପୁଣି ଶିବାର ରାଣୀ ଯାହା ଯାହା ମାଗିଲା, ତାହାର ମନୋବାଞ୍ଛାନୁସାରେ ଶଲୋମନ ରାଜା ତାହାସବୁ ତାହାକୁ ଦେଲେ, (ତାହା ଛଡ଼ା ରାଜାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ତାହାର ଆନୀତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟର ପ୍ରତିଦାନ କଲେ) ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ରାଣୀ ଓ ତାହାର ଦାସମାନେ ଫେରି ଆପଣା ଦେଶକୁ ଗଲେ।
And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatever she asked, besides that which she had brought to the king. So she turned, and went to her own land, she and her servants.
13 ବର୍ଷକ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଛଅ ଶହ ଛଷଠି ତାଳନ୍ତ ପରିମିତ ସୁନା ଆସେ;
Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold,
14 ତାହା ଛଡ଼ା ପାଇକର ଓ ବଣିକମାନେ ସୁନା ଆଣିଲେ; ପୁଣି ଆରବୀୟ ସମସ୍ତ ରାଜା ଓ ଦେଶାଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷମାନେ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ସୁନା ଓ ରୂପା ଆଣିଲେ।
besides that which the traders and merchants brought. And all the kings of Arabia and the governors of the country brought gold and silver to Solomon.
15 ତହିଁରେ ଶଲୋମନ ରାଜା ପିଟାସୁନାରେ ଦୁଇ ଶହ ବଡ଼ ଢ଼ାଲ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ; ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଢାଳରେ ଛଅ ଶହ ଶେକଲ ସୁନା ଲାଗିଲା।
And king Solomon made two hundred bucklers of beaten gold; six hundred shekels of beaten gold went to one buckler.
16 ପୁଣି, ସେ ପିଟାସୁନାରେ ତିନି ଶହ ଢାଲ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ; ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଢାଲରେ ତିନି ମିନାସ୍ ସୁନା ଲାଗିଲା; ଆଉ, ରାଜା ଲିବାନୋନ-ଅରଣ୍ୟ ଗୃହରେ ତାହାସବୁ ରଖିଲେ।
And he made three hundred shields of beaten gold; three hundred shekels of gold went to one shield. And the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.
17 ଆହୁରି, ରାଜା ହସ୍ତୀଦନ୍ତର ଗୋଟିଏ ବୃହତ ସିଂହାସନ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରି ନିର୍ମଳ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣରେ ମଡ଼ାଇଲେ।
Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold.
18 ସେହି ସିଂହାସନରେ ଏକ ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣମୟ ପାଦପୀଠ ସହିତ ଛଅ ପାହାଚ ସିଂହାସନ ସଂଯୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇଥିଲା, ଆଉ ଆସନର ଦୁଇ ପାର୍ଶ୍ଵରେ ଦୁଇ ହସ୍ତାବଲମ୍ବନ ଥିଲା ଓ ସେହି ହସ୍ତାବଲମ୍ବନ ନିକଟରେ ଦୁଇ ସିଂହମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ଛିଡ଼ା ହୋଇଥିଲେ।
And there were six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, which were fastened to the throne, and supports on either side by the place of the seat, and two lions standing beside the supports.
19 ସେହି ଛଅ ପାହାଚ ଉପରେ ଦୁଇପାଖେ ବାର ସିଂହମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ଛିଡ଼ା ହୋଇଥିଲେ; ଏରୂପ ସିଂହାସନ କୌଣସି ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ନୋହିଲା।
And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps. There was not the like made in any kingdom.
20 ଶଲୋମନ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ପାନପାତ୍ରସବୁ ସୁନାର ଥିଲା ଓ ଲିବାନୋନ-ଅରଣ୍ୟ ଗୃହର ସମସ୍ତ ପାତ୍ର ଶୁଦ୍ଧ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣର ଥିଲା; ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ରୂପା କିଛି ବୋଲି ଗଣା ନୋହିଲା।
And all king Solomon's drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold; silver was accounted of nothing in the days of Solomon.
21 କାରଣ ହୂରମ୍ର ଦାସମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ତର୍ଶୀଶଗାମୀ ଜାହାଜମାନ ଥିଲେ; ସେହି ତର୍ଶୀଶର ଜାହାଜମାନ ତିନି ବର୍ଷରେ ଥରେ ସୁନା ଓ ରୂପା ଓ ହସ୍ତୀଦନ୍ତ, ପୁଣି ବାନର ଓ ମୟୂର ନେଇ ଆସନ୍ତି।
For the king had ships that went to Tarshish with the servants of Huram. Once every three years the ships of Tarshish came, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.
22 ଏହିରୂପେ ଶଲୋମନ ରାଜା ଐଶ୍ୱର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ଓ ଜ୍ଞାନରେ ପୃଥିବୀସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ମହାନ ହେଲେ।
So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.
23 ଆଉ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ହୃଦୟରେ ଯେଉଁ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଦେଇଥିଲେ, ତହିଁର କଥା ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପୃଥିବୀସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତ ରାଜା ତାଙ୍କର ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହିଁଲେ।
And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.
24 ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକ ନିରୂପଣାନୁସାରେ ବର୍ଷକୁ ବର୍ଷ ଆପଣା ଆପଣାର ଭେଟି ରୂପେ ରୂପାପାତ୍ର ଓ ସୁନାପାତ୍ର ଓ ବସ୍ତ୍ର, ଅସ୍ତ୍ରଶସ୍ତ୍ର ଓ ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ, ଅଶ୍ୱ ଓ ଖଚର ଆଣିଲେ।
And they brought every man his tribute, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and raiment, armor, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.
25 ଆଉ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ଅଶ୍ୱ ଓ ରଥ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଚାରି ହଜାର ଶାଳା ଥିଲା ଓ ବାର ହଜାର ଅଶ୍ୱାରୂଢ଼ ଥିଲେ, ଏସବୁକୁ ସେ ରଥ-ନଗରମାନରେ ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ରଖିଲେ।
And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, that he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.
26 ଆଉ, ସେ (ଫରାତ୍) ନଦୀଠାରୁ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ଦେଶ ଓ ମିସରର ସୀମା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସମସ୍ତ ରାଜା ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କଲେ।
And he ruled over all the kings from the River even to the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt.
27 ପୁଣି ରାଜା ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ରୂପାକୁ ପଥର ପରି ଓ ବାହୁଲ୍ୟ ହେତୁରୁ ଏରସ କାଷ୍ଠକୁ ତଳଭୂମିସ୍ଥ ଡିମ୍ବିରିବୃକ୍ଷ ପରି କଲେ।
And the king made silver to be in Jerusalem as stones, and he made cedars to be as the sycamore trees that are in the lowland, for abundance.
28 ଆଉ ଲୋକମାନେ ମିସରରୁ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଦେଶରୁ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଅଶ୍ୱ ଆଣିଲେ।
And they brought horses for Solomon out of Egypt, and out of all lands.
29 ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ, ଆରମ୍ଭରୁ ଶେଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ, ନାଥନ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କର ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଓ ଶୀଲୋନୀୟ ଅହୀୟର ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟରେ ଓ ନବାଟର ପୁତ୍ର ଯାରବୀୟାମଙ୍କ ବିଷୟକ ଇଦ୍ଦୋ ଦର୍ଶକର ଦର୍ଶନ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କʼଣ ଲେଖା ନାହିଁ?
Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the history of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer concerning Jeroboam the son of Nebat?
30 ଶଲୋମନ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ଚାଳିଶ ବର୍ଷ କାଳ ସମଗ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କଲେ।
And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.
31 ପୁଣି ଶଲୋମନ ଆପଣା ପିତୃଲୋକଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଶୟନ କରି ଆପଣା ପିତା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ନଗରରେ କବରପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲେ; ତହୁଁ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ରିହବୀୟାମ ତାଙ୍କର ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
And Solomon slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of David his father. And Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.
