ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ବଂଶାବଳୀ 32
1 ଏହି ସକଳ ଘଟଣା ଓ ଏହି ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତତାର କର୍ମ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ସନ୍ହେରୀବ ଆସି ଯିହୁଦାରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲା ଓ ପ୍ରାଚୀର-ବେଷ୍ଟିତ ନଗର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଛାଉଣି ସ୍ଥାପନ କରି ତାହାସବୁ ଆପଣା ପାଇଁ ଲାଭ କରିବାକୁ ବିଚାର କଲା।

2 ପୁଣି, ସନ୍ହେରୀବ ଆସିଅଛି ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ମନସ୍ଥ କରିଅଛି, ହିଜକୀୟ ଏହା ଦେଖନ୍ତେ,
and to see: see Hezekiah for to come (in): come Sennacherib and face his to/for battle upon Jerusalem
3 ସେ ନଗରର ବହିଃସ୍ଥିତ ନିର୍ଝରସବୁ ବନ୍ଦ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆପଣାର ଅଧିପତି ଓ ବଳବାନ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସହିତ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କଲେ; ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ତାଙ୍କର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କଲେ।
and to advise with ruler his and mighty man his to/for to close [obj] water [the] spring which from outside to/for city and to help him
4 “ଏଣୁ ଅଶୂର-ରାଜାଗଣ ଆସି କାହିଁକି ଅନେକ ଜଳ ପାଇବେ?” ଏହା କହି ଅସଂଖ୍ୟ ଲୋକ ଏକତ୍ରିତ ହୋଇ ସମସ୍ତ ଝର ଓ ଦେଶମଧ୍ୟବାହୀ ସ୍ରୋତ ବନ୍ଦ କଲେ।
and to gather people many and to close [obj] all [the] spring and [obj] [the] torrent: river [the] to overflow in/on/with midst [the] land: country/planet to/for to say to/for what? to come (in): come king Assyria and to find water many
5 ପୁଣି, ସେ ସାହସ ବାନ୍ଧି ସମସ୍ତ ଭଗ୍ନ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ନିର୍ମାଣ କରି ଦୁର୍ଗ ସମାନ ଓ ବହିଃସ୍ଥିତ ଅନ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ସମାନ ଉଚ୍ଚ କଲେ ଓ ଦାଉଦ-ନଗରସ୍ଥ ମିଲ୍ଲୋ ଦୃଢ଼ କଲେ, ଆଉ ପ୍ରଚୁର ଅସ୍ତ୍ର ଓ ଢାଲ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ।
and to strengthen: persevere and to build [obj] all [the] wall [the] to break through and to ascend: establish upon [the] tower and to/for outside [to] [the] wall another and to strengthen: persevere [obj] [the] Millo city David and to make missile to/for abundance and shield
6 ଆଉ, ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ସେନାପତି ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କଲେ ଓ ନଗର-ଦ୍ୱାର ଛକରେ ଆପଣା ନିକଟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ର କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚିତ୍ତ ପ୍ରବୋଧକ ବାକ୍ୟ କହିଲେ,
and to give: put ruler battle upon [the] people and to gather them to(wards) him to(wards) street/plaza gate [the] city and to speak: speak upon heart their to/for to say
7 “ବଳବାନ ଓ ସାହସିକ ହୁଅ, ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ଓ ତାହାର ସଙ୍ଗୀ ସମସ୍ତ ଜନତା ସକାଶୁ ଭୀତ କି ନିରାଶ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ତାହାର ସହାୟ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହାୟ ମହାନ;
to strengthen: strengthen and to strengthen not to fear and not to to be dismayed from face: before king Assyria and from to/for face: before all [the] crowd which with him for with us many from from with him
8 ମାଂସର ବାହୁ ତାହାର ସହାୟ; ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରିବାକୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହାୟ ଅଛନ୍ତି।” ଏଥିରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଯିହୁଦା-ରାଜା ହିଜକୀୟଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟରେ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖିଲେ।

9 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ସନ୍ହେରୀବ ଓ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ତାହାର ସୈନ୍ୟସାମନ୍ତ ଲାଖୀଶ୍ ନଗର ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଥିବା ବେଳେ ସେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ହିଜକୀୟଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ସମଗ୍ର ଯିହୁଦା ନିକଟକୁ ଆପଣା ଦାସଗଣ ପଠାଇ କହିଲା,

10 “ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ସନ୍ହେରୀବ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କାହିଁରେ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖି ଅବରୋଧ କାଳରେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ରହୁଅଛ?
thus to say Sennacherib king Assyria upon what? you(m. p.) to trust and to dwell in/on/with siege in/on/with Jerusalem
11 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଶୂର ରାଜାର ହସ୍ତରୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବେ ବୋଲି ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷରେ ଓ ତୃଷାରେ ମରିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମର୍ପି ଦେବାକୁ କʼଣ ହିଜକୀୟ ମଣାଉ ନାହାନ୍ତି?

12 ଏହି ହିଜକୀୟ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀ ଓ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦିସବୁ ଦୂର କରି ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା କରି କି କହି ନାହାନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏକ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦି ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରିବ ଓ ତହିଁ ଉପରେ ଧୂପ ଜ୍ୱଳାଇବ?

13 ମୁଁ ଓ ମୋʼ ପିତୃଲୋକମାନେ ଏହିସବୁ ଦେଶର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଯାହା କରିଅଛୁ, ତାହା କି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣ ନାହିଁ? ସେହି ସବୁ ଦେଶସ୍ଥ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀମାନଙ୍କ ଦେବଗଣ କି କୌଣସି ରୂପେ ଆମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଦେଶ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରି ପାରିଲେ?

14 ମୋʼ ପିତୃଲୋକମାନେ ଯେଉଁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଃଶେଷରେ ବିନାଶ କଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦେବଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କିଏ ଆପଣା ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରି ପାରିଅଛି ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରି ପାରିବେ?

15 ଏହେତୁ ହିଜକୀୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ନ ଭୁଲାଉ, କି ଏରୂପ ନ ମଣାଉ, କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାକୁ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କର ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ କୌଣସି ଦେଶର କି ରାଜ୍ୟର ଦେବତା ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଓ ମୋʼ ପିତୃଲୋକଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିପାରି ନାହିଁ; ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରି ପାରିବେ?”

16 ପୁଣି, ତାହାର ଦାସମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦାସ ହିଜକୀୟଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆହୁରି ଅନେକ କଥା କହିଲେ।

17 ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ନିନ୍ଦା କରିବାକୁ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କଥା କହିବାକୁ ଏହିପରି ପତ୍ରମାନ ଲେଖିଲା, ଯଥା, “ନାନା ଦେଶୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଦେବଗଣ ଯେପରି ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରି ନାହାନ୍ତି, ସେପରି ହିଜକୀୟର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।”

18 ଆଉ, ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଉପରେ ଥିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୟାର୍ତ୍ତ ଓ ବ୍ୟାକୁଳ କରି ନଗର ହସ୍ତଗତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସେମାନେ ଯିହୁଦୀୟ ଭାଷାରେ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ୱରରେ ଡାକି କହିଲେ।

19 ଆଉ, ପୃଥିବୀସ୍ଥ ନାନା ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ହସ୍ତକୃତ ଦେବଗଣ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କଥା କହିବା ତୁଲ୍ୟ ସେମାନେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କଥା କହିଲେ।

20 ଏଥିରେ ହିଜକୀୟ ରାଜା ଓ ଆମୋସର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିଶାଇୟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ଏସକାଶୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରି ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ଆଡ଼େ ଡାକ ପକାଇଲେ।

21 ତହିଁରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏକ ଦୂତ ପ୍ରେରଣ କରି ଅଶୂର ରାଜାର ଛାଉଣି ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମହାବିକ୍ରମଶାଳୀ ଲୋକ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ, ଆଉ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଓ ସେନାପତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କଲେ। ତହିଁରେ ସେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତମୁଖ ହୋଇ ଆପଣା ଦେଶକୁ ଫେରିଗଲା। ତହିଁ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେ ଆପଣା ଦେବ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଆସନ୍ତେ, ତାହାର କେତେକ ଔରସଜାତ ସେଠାରେ ତାହାକୁ ଖଡ୍ଗରେ ବଧ କଲେ।
and to send: depart LORD messenger: angel and to hide all mighty man strength and leader and ruler in/on/with camp king Assyria and to return: return in/on/with shame face to/for land: country/planet his and to come (in): come house: temple God his (and from offspring *Q(K)*) belly his there to fall: kill him in/on/with sword
22 ଏହିରୂପେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ହିଜକୀୟଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ନିବାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ସନ୍ହେରୀବ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କଲେ, ପୁଣି ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଥ ଦେଖାଇଲେ।
and to save LORD [obj] Hezekiah and [obj] to dwell Jerusalem from hand: power Sennacherib king Assyria and from hand: power all and to guide them from around: side
23 ତହିଁରେ ଅନେକେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଉପହାର ଆଣିଲେ ଓ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ହିଜକୀୟଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ବହୁମୂଲ୍ୟ ପଦାର୍ଥ ଆଣିଲେ; ତହୁଁ ସେ ସେହି ସମୟଠାରୁ ସମଗ୍ର ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଉନ୍ନତ ହେଲେ।

24 ସେହି ସମୟରେ ହିଜକୀୟଙ୍କୁ ସାଂଘାତିକ ପୀଡ଼ା ହୋଇଥିଲା; ପୁଣି ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରନ୍ତେ, ସେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଓ ଏକ ଚିହ୍ନ ଦେଲେ।

25 ମାତ୍ର ହିଜକୀୟ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତି କୃତ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ଅନୁସାରେ ପ୍ରତିଦାନ କଲେ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ତାଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଗର୍ବିତ ହେଲା; ଏହେତୁ ତାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ, ପୁଣି ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ଉପରେ କୋପ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା।

26 ତଥାପି ଆପଣା ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣର ଗର୍ବ ସକାଶୁ ହିଜକୀୟ ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ନିବାସୀମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ନମ୍ର କଲେ, ତେଣୁ ହିଜକୀୟଙ୍କର ସମୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ କୋପ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା ନାହିଁ।

27 ଆଉ, ହିଜକୀୟଙ୍କର ଅତି ପ୍ରଚୁର ସମ୍ପଦ ଓ ସମ୍ଭ୍ରମ ଥିଲା ପୁଣି, ସେ ରୂପା, ସୁନା, ବହୁମୂଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର, ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ, ଢାଲ ଓ ସର୍ବପ୍ରକାର ମନୋହର ପାତ୍ର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଭଣ୍ଡାର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ;
and to be to/for Hezekiah riches and glory to multiply much and treasure to make to/for him to/for silver: money and to/for gold and to/for stone precious and to/for spice and to/for shield and to/for all article/utensil desire
28 ମଧ୍ୟ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ଶସ୍ୟ ଓ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ଓ ତୈଳ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଭଣ୍ଡାର, ପୁଣି ସର୍ବପ୍ରକାର ପଶୁ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଶାଳା ଓ ମେଷପଲ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଖୁଆଡ଼ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ।
and storage to/for produce grain and new wine and oil and stall to/for all animal and animal and flock to/for stall
29 ଆହୁରି, ସେ ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ନାନା ନଗର ଓ ଗୋମେଷାଦି ପ୍ରଚୁର ପଶୁଧନ ଆୟୋଜନ କଲେ; କାରଣ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାଙ୍କୁ ବହୁତ ବହୁତ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଦେଇଥିଲେ।
and city to make to/for him and livestock flock and cattle to/for abundance for to give: give to/for him God property many much
30 ଏହି ହିଜକୀୟ ମଧ୍ୟ ଗୀହୋନସ୍ଥିତ ଉଚ୍ଚତର ଜଳଝର ବନ୍ଦ କରି ତାହା ସଳଖ ପଥରେ ଦାଉଦ-ନଗରର ପଶ୍ଚିମ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱକୁ ଆଣିଲେ। ପୁଣି, ହିଜକୀୟ ଆପଣାର ସମସ୍ତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ କୃତକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହେଲେ।

31 ତଥାପି ଦେଶରେ ଯେଉଁ ଅଦ୍ଭୁତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହୋଇଥିଲା, ତହିଁର ବିବରଣ ପଚାରିବା ନିମିତ୍ତ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ବାବିଲୀୟ ଅଧିପତିମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରେରିତ ଦୂତମାନଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧରେ ଯେପରି ସେ ଆପଣା ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣର ସମସ୍ତ ଭାବ ଜାଣି ପାରିବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାଙ୍କର ପରୀକ୍ଷା ନେବା ସକାଶେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଛାଡ଼ିଦେଲେ।

32 ଏହି ହିଜକୀୟଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସୁକ୍ରିୟା, ଯିହୁଦାର ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ-ପୁସ୍ତକ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଆମୋସର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିଶାଇୟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାର ଦର୍ଶନ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖାଅଛି।

33 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ହିଜକୀୟ ମୃତ୍ୟୁବରଣ କଲେ, ତହିଁରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଦାଉଦ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର କବର ସ୍ଥାନର ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱଗାମୀ ପଥ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ କବର ଦେଲେ; ପୁଣି, ତାଙ୍କର ମରଣ ସମୟରେ ସମଗ୍ର ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ନିବାସୀମାନେ ତାଙ୍କର ସମ୍ମାନ କଲେ। ତହୁଁ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ମନଃଶି ତାଙ୍କର ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
