ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ବଂଶାବଳୀ 13

1 ଯାରବୀୟାମ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ଅଠର ବର୍ଷରେ ଅବୀୟ ଯିହୁଦା ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ।

In year eight-teen of the king Jeroboam and he became king Abijah over Judah.

2 ସେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ତିନି ବର୍ଷ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ; ତାଙ୍କର ମାତାଙ୍କ ନାମ ମୀଖାୟ, ସେ ଗିବୀୟା ନିବାସୀ ଊରୀୟେଲର କନ୍ୟା ଥିଲେ। ପୁଣି ଅବୀୟ ଓ ଯାରବୀୟାମ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ଚାଲିଲା।

Three years he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Micaiah [the] daughter of Uriel from Gibeah and war it was between Abijah and between Jeroboam.

3 ଅବୀୟ ଚାରି ଲକ୍ଷ ବଛା ବିକ୍ରମଶାଳୀ ସୈନ୍ୟ ସଙ୍ଗେ ମିଶି ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କଲେ ଓ ଯାରବୀୟାମ ଆଠ ଲକ୍ଷ ବଛା ମହାବିକ୍ରମଶାଳୀ ଲୋକ ନେଇ ତାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ସଜାଇଲା।

And he bound Abijah the battle with an army of mighty [men] of war four hundred thousand man chosen. And Jeroboam he drew up in formation with him battle with eight hundred thousand man chosen mighty of strength.

4 ତହିଁରେ ଅବୀୟ ଇଫ୍ରୟିମର ପର୍ବତମୟ ଦେଶସ୍ଥ ସୀମାରୟମ୍‍ ପର୍ବତରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ କହିଲେ, “ହେ ଯାରବୀୟାମ ଓ ସମଗ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଲୋକ, ମୋʼ କଥା ଶୁଣ;

And he stood Abijah on [the] mountain of Zemaraim which [is] in [the] hill country of Ephraim and he said listen to me O Jeroboam and all Israel.

5 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯେ ଲବଣର ନିୟମ ଦ୍ୱାର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜତ୍ୱ ଚିରକାଳ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ତାଙ୍କୁ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ଏହା କʼଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଜାଣିବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ?

¿ Not [belong] to you [does] to know that Yahweh - [the] God of Israel he has given kingship to David over Israel for ever to him and to descendants his a covenant of salt.

6 ତଥାପି ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ଦାସ ଯେ ନବାଟର ପୁତ୍ର ଯାରବୀୟାମ, ସେ ଉଠି ଆପଣା ପ୍ରଭୁର ବିଦ୍ରୋହୀ ହୋଇଅଛି।

And he arose Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat [the] servant of Solomon [the] son of David and he rebelled on master his.

7 ପୁଣି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଓ ଅସାର ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହା ପକ୍ଷରେ ଏକତ୍ର ହୋଇ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର, ରିହବୀୟାମଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଳିଷ୍ଠ କଲେ; ସେହି ସମୟରେ ରିହବୀୟାମ ଯୁବା ଓ କୋମଳାନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଥିଲେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିବାଧା କରି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ।

And they gathered to him men empty sons of worthlessness and they proved themselves strong over Rehoboam [the] son of Solomon and Rehoboam he was a young man and weak of heart and not he showed himself strong before them.

8 ଆଉ, ଏବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଦାଉଦ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ହସ୍ତାଧୀନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟର ପ୍ରତିବାଧା କରିବାକୁ ମାନସ କରୁଅଛ; ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଲୋକସମୂହ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଦେବତା ହେବା ପାଇଁ ଯାରବୀୟାମ ନିର୍ମିତ ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣମୟ ଗୋବତ୍ସ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଅଛି।

And now - you [are] saying to show yourselves strong before [the] kingdom of Yahweh in [the] hand of [the] descendants of David and you [are] a multitude great and [are] with you calves of gold which he made for you Jeroboam to gods.

9 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଯାଜକ ହାରୋଣଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ତଡ଼ିଦେଇ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶସ୍ଥ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀମାନଙ୍କ ରୀତି ଅନୁସାରେ ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଯାଜକ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରି ନାହଁ? ଏଣୁ ଯେକେହି ଆପଣାର ପଦନିଯୋଗାର୍ଥେ ଏକ ଗୋବତ୍ସ ଓ ସାତ ମେଷ ନେଇ ଆସେ, ସେ ଏହି ଅନୀଶ୍ୱରମାନଙ୍କର ଯାଜକ ହୋଇପାରେ।

¿ Not have you driven out [the] priests of Yahweh [the] descendants of Aaron and the Levites and you have appointed for yourselves priests like [the] peoples of the lands every [one who] comes to fill own hand his with a young bull a young one of cattle and rams seven and he will become a priest to not gods.

10 ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଟନ୍ତି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ନାହୁଁ; ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପରିଚର୍ଯ୍ୟାକାରୀ ହାରୋଣ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଯାଜକ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ ଅଛନ୍ତି;

And we Yahweh [is] God our and not we have forsaken him and [we are] priests serving Yahweh [the] descendants of Aaron and the Levites [are] in the work.

11 ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରଭାତରେ ଓ ପ୍ରତି ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ହୋମବଳି ଓ ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ଧୂପ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ପବିତ୍ର ମେଜ ଉପରେ ଦର୍ଶନୀୟ ରୁଟି ଓ ପ୍ରତି ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାରେ ଜ୍ୱଳାଇବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଦୀପ ସହିତ ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣମୟ ଦୀପବୃକ୍ଷ ସଜାନ୍ତି; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ରକ୍ଷଣୀୟ ରକ୍ଷା କରୁଅଛୁ; ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିଅଛ।

And [are] making smoke to Yahweh burnt offerings in the morning in the morning and in the evening in the evening and incense of perfume and [the] row of bread on the table clean and [the] lampstand of gold and lamps its to burn in the evening in the evening for [are] keeping we [the] duty of Yahweh God our and you you have forsaken him.

12 ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମସ୍ତକ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଯାଜକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ରଣତୂରୀ ବଜାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ହେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପିତୃଗଣର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ନ କର; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କୃତକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହେବ ନାହିଁ।”

And here! [is] with us at the head God - and priests his and [the] trumpets of the alarm to sound [the] battle signal on you O people of Israel may not you do battle with Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your for not you will succeed.

13 ତଥାପି ଯାରବୀୟାମ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଆକ୍ରମଣାର୍ଥେ ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଗୋପନରେ ସୈନ୍ୟ ରଖିଲେ; ଏଣୁ ଲୋକମାନେ ଯିହୁଦାର ଆଗରେ ଓ ସେହି ଗୁପ୍ତ ଦଳ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଛରେ ରହିଲେ।

And Jeroboam he had caused to go round the ambush to come from behind them and they were to front of Judah and the ambush [was] from behind them.

14 ତହିଁରେ ଯିହୁଦା ପଛକୁ ଅନାନ୍ତେ, ଦେଖ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଆଗରେ ଓ ପଛରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ; ତହୁଁ ସେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଡାକ ପକାଇଲେ ଓ ଯାଜକମାନେ ତୂରୀଧ୍ୱନି କଲେ।

And they turned Judah and there! [was] to them the battle before and behind and they cried out to Yahweh and the priests ([were] blowing a trumpet *Q(k)*) on trumpets.

15 ସେତେବେଳେ ଯିହୁଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ ସିଂହନାଦ କଲେ; ଆଉ ଯିହୁଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ ସିଂହନାଦ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅବୀୟ ଓ ଯିହୁଦାର ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଯାରବୀୟାମଙ୍କୁ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ଆଘାତ କଲେ।

And they sounded [the] battle signal [the] man of Judah and it was when sounded [the] battle signal [the] man of Judah and God he defeated Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.

16 ତହିଁରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଯିହୁଦା ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ପଳାଇଲେ ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲେ।

And they fled [the] people of Israel from before Judah and he gave them God in hand their.

17 ତହୁଁ ଅବୀୟ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଲୋକମାନେ ମହାସଂହାରରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କଲେ; ଏଥିରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପାଞ୍ଚ ଲକ୍ଷ ବଛା ଲୋକ ହତ ହୋଇ ପଡ଼ିଲେ।

And they struck down among them Abijah and people his a striking great and they fell slain of Israel five hundred thousand man chosen.

18 ଏହିରୂପେ ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ଅବନତ ହେଲେ ଓ ଯିହୁଦାର ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପିତୃଗଣର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖିବାରୁ ଜୟଯୁକ୍ତ ହେଲେ।

And they were humbled [the] people of Israel at the time that and they were strong [the] people of Judah for they depended on Yahweh [the] God of ancestors their.

19 ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ଅବୀୟ ଯାରବୀୟାମଙ୍କର ପଛେ ପଛେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇ ତାଙ୍କର କେତେକ ନଗର, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ବେଥେଲ୍‍ ଓ ତହିଁର ଉପନଗର, ଯିଶାନା ଓ ତହିଁର ଉପନଗର, ପୁଣି ଇଫ୍ରୋଣ ଓ ତହିଁର ଉପନଗରସକଳ ହସ୍ତଗତ କରି ନେଲେ।

And he pursued Abijah after Jeroboam and he captured from him cities Beth-el and daughters its and Jeshanah and daughters its and (Ephrayin *Q(K)*) and daughters its.

20 ପୁଣି ଅବୀୟଙ୍କର ଜୀବନ କାଳ ଯାଏ ଯାରବୀୟାମ ଆଉ ବଳ ପାଇ ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ; ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କରନ୍ତେ, ସେ ମଲେ।

And not he retained [the] strength of Jeroboam again in [the] days of Abijah and he struck him Yahweh and he died.

21 ମାତ୍ର ଅବୀୟ ବେଳକୁ ବେଳ ବଳବାନ ହୋଇ ଉଠିଲେ, ପୁଣି ଚଉଦ ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା ବିବାହ କରି ବାଇଶ ପୁତ୍ର ଓ ଷୋହଳ କନ୍ୟା ଜାତ କଲେ।

And he strengthened himself Abijah and he took for himself wives four-teen and he fathered twenty and two sons and six-teen daughters.

22 ଏହି ଅବୀୟଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟା ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଉକ୍ତି ଇଦ୍ଦୋ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍‍ବକ୍ତାର ଟୀକାଗ୍ରନ୍ଥରେ ଲିଖିତ ଅଛି।

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Abijah and ways his and words his [are] written in [the] record of the prophet Iddo.
