ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ବଂଶାବଳୀ 11
1 ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ରିହବୀୟାମ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ, ସେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରି ରିହବୀୟାମଙ୍କ ଅଧୀନକୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଫେରାଇ ଆଣିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ବିନ୍ୟାମୀନ୍ ବଂଶର ଏକ ଲକ୍ଷ ଅଶୀ ହଜାର ବଛା ଯୋଦ୍ଧା ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ର କଲେ।
Forsothe Roboam cam in to Jerusalem, and clepide togidere al the hows of Juda and of Beniamyn, `til to nyne scoore thousynde of chosen men and werriouris, for to fiyte ayens Israel, and for to turne his rewme to hym.
2 ମାତ୍ର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଲୋକ ଶମୟୀୟ ନିକଟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା।
And the word of the Lord was maad to Semeye, the man of God,
3 “ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ରିହବୀୟାମଙ୍କୁ, ପୁଣି ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ବିନ୍ୟାମୀନ୍ ନିବାସୀ ସମସ୍ତ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ କୁହ,
and seide, Speke thou to Roboam, the sone of Salomon, kyng of Juda, and to al Israel, which is in Juda and Beniamyn; The Lord seith these thingis,
4 ‘ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯାତ୍ରା କରିବ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ଆପଣା ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ବିପକ୍ଷରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଗୃହକୁ ଫେରିଯାଅ; କାରଣ ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଆମ୍ଭ ଆଡ଼ୁ ହୋଇଅଛି,’” ତେଣୁ ସେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣିଲେ ଓ ଯାରବୀୟାମ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯାତ୍ରା କରିବାରୁ ଫେରିଲେ।
Ye schulen not stie, nethir ye schulen fiyte ayens youre britheren; ech man turne ayen in to his hows, for this thing is doon bi my wille. And whanne thei hadden herd the word of the Lord, thei turneden ayen, and yeden not ayens kyng Jeroboam.
5 ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ରିହବୀୟାମ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ବାସ କରି ରକ୍ଷା ନିମିତ୍ତ ଯିହୁଦା ଦେଶରେ ନଗରମାନ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ।
Forsothe Roboam dwellide in Jerusalem, and he bildide wallid citees in Juda;
6 ସେ ବେଥଲିହିମ, ଐଟମ୍, ତକୋୟ,
and bildide Bethleem, and Ethan, and Thecue, and Bethsur;
7 ବେଥ୍-ସୁର, ସୋଖୋ, ଅଦୁଲ୍ଲମ,
and Sochot, and Odollam;
8 ଗାଥ୍, ମାରେଶା, ସୀଫ୍,
also and Jeth, and Maresa, and Ziph;
9 ଅଦୋରୟୀମ୍, ଲାଖୀଶ୍, ଅସେକା,
but also Huram, and Lachis, and Azecha;
10 ସରାୟ, ଅୟାଲୋନ୍, ହିବ୍ରୋଣ, ଯିହୁଦାର ଓ ବିନ୍ୟାମୀନ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଏହି ପ୍ରାଚୀର-ବେଷ୍ଟିତ ନଗରସବୁ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ।
and Saraa, and Hailon, and Ebron, that weren in Juda and Beniamyn, ful strong citees.
11 ଆଉ, ସେ ସକଳ ଦୁର୍ଗ ଦୃଢ଼ କରି ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେନାପତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଖାଦ୍ୟଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ, ପୁଣି ତୈଳ ଓ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ରଖିଲେ।
And whanne he hadde closid tho with wallis, he settide `in tho citees princes, and bernes of metis, that is, of oile, and of wyn.
12 ଆଉ, ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ନଗରରେ ସେ ଢାଲ ଓ ବର୍ଚ୍ଛା ରଖିଲେ, ପୁଣି ନଗରସବୁକୁ ଅତିଶୟ ଦୃଢ଼ କଲେ ଆଉ ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ବିନ୍ୟାମୀନ୍ ତାଙ୍କର ପକ୍ଷ ହେଲେ।
But also in ech citee he made placis of armuris of scheeldis, and speris, and he made tho strong with most diligence; and he regnyde on Juda and Beniamyn.
13 ଆହୁରି, ସମୁଦାୟ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ମଧ୍ୟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଯାଜକ ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସମସ୍ତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରୁ ଆସି ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ।
Sotheli the preestis and dekenes, that weren in al Israel, camen to hym fro alle her seetis,
14 କାରଣ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା (ନଗରର) ତଳିଭୂମି ଓ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଅଧିକାର ତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଆସିଲେ; ଯେହେତୁ ଯାରବୀୟାମ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଯାଜକର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବାକୁ ନ ଦେଇ ତଡ଼ି ଦେଇଥିଲେ।
and forsoken her subarbis and possessiouns, and thei passiden to Juda and to Jerusalem; for Jeroboam and hise aftir comeris hadden cast hem a wey, that thei schulden not be set in preesthod of the Lord;
15 ପୁଣି, ସେ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀସକଳର ଓ ଛାଗ ଦେବତାମାନଙ୍କର ଓ ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣନିର୍ମିତ ଗୋବତ୍ସସକଳର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆପଣାର ଯାଜକ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କଲେ।
which Jeroboam made to hym preestis of hiye places, and of feendis, and of caluys, which he hadde maad.
16 ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସମୁଦାୟ ବଂଶ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମନ ନିବିଷ୍ଟ କଲେ, ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ବଳିଦାନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଆସିଲେ।
But also of alle the linagis of Israel, whiche euer yauen her herte to seke the Lord God of Israel, thei camen to Jerusalem for to offre her sacrifices bifor the Lord God of her fadris.
17 ଏହିରୂପେ ସେମାନେ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜ୍ୟ ଦୃଢ଼ କଲେ, ପୁଣି ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ରିହବୀୟାମଙ୍କୁ ତିନି ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବଳବାନ କଲେ; କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ତିନି ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଓ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ପଥରେ ଚାଲିଲେ।
And thei strengthiden the rewme of Juda, and strengthiden Roboam, the sone of Salomon, bi thre yeer; for thei yeden in the weies of Dauid, and of Salomon, oneli bi thre yeer.
18 ପୁଣି, ରିହବୀୟାମ ମହଲତ୍ ନାମ୍ନୀ ଏକ ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ, ସେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିରେମୋତ୍ର ଓ ଯିଶୀର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲୀୟାବ୍ର କନ୍ୟା ଅବୀହୟିଲର କନ୍ୟା ଥିଲା;
Forsothe Roboam weddide a wijf Malaoth, the douytir of Jerymuth, sone of Dauid, and Abiail, the douytir of Heliab, sone of Ysaye;
19 ସେ ତାଙ୍କ ଔରସରେ ଯିୟୂଶ୍ ଓ ଶେମରୀୟ ଓ ସହମ ନାମକ ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜାତ କଲା
and sche childide to hym sones, Yeus, and Somorie, and Zerei.
20 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ରିହବୀୟାମ ଅବଶାଲୋମର କନ୍ୟା ମାଖାକୁ ବିବାହ କଲେ; ସେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ତାଙ୍କ ଔରସରେ ଅବୀୟ ଓ ଅତ୍ତୟ ଓ ସୀଷ ଓ ଶଲୋମୀତ୍କୁ ଜାତ କଲା।
Also after this wijf he took Maacha, the douyter of Abissalon, and sche childide to hym Abia, and Thai, and Ziza, and Salomyth.
21 ରିହବୀୟାମ ଆପଣାର ସବୁ ପତ୍ନୀ ଓ ଉପପତ୍ନୀ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅବଶାଲୋମର କନ୍ୟା ମାଖାକୁ ଅଧିକ ପ୍ରେମ କଲେ; ସେ ଅଠର ପତ୍ନୀ ଓ ଷାଠିଏ ଉପପତ୍ନୀ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ ଓ ଅଠାଇଶ ପୁତ୍ର ଓ ଷାଠିଏ କନ୍ୟା ଜାତ କଲେ।
Forsothe Roboam louyde Maacha, the douytir of Abissalon, aboue alle hise wyues and secundarie wyues. Forsothe he hadde weddid eiytene wyues, sotheli sixti secundarie wyues; and he gendride eiyte and twenti sones, and sixti douytris.
22 ପୁଣି ରିହବୀୟାମ ମାଖାର ପୁତ୍ର ଅବୀୟଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଓ ତାହାର ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅଧିପତି କଲେ; କାରଣ ତାହାକୁ ରାଜା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତାଙ୍କର ମନ ଥିଲା।
Sotheli he ordeynede Abia, the sone of Maacha, in the heed, duyk ouer alle hise britheren; for he thouyte to make Abia kyng,
23 ଆଉ, ସେ ବୁଦ୍ଧିର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରି ଆପଣାର ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ବିନ୍ୟାମୀନ୍ ଦେଶର ସର୍ବତ୍ର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ପ୍ରାଚୀର-ବେଷ୍ଟିତ ନଗରରେ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କରି ରଖିଲେ; ଆଉ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଚୁର ଖାଦ୍ୟଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ଦେଲେ ପୁଣି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅନେକ ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା ଖୋଜିଲେ।
for he was wisere and myytiere ouer alle hise sones, and in alle the coostis of Juda and of Beniamyn, and in alle wallid citees; and he yaf to hem ful many metis, and he had many wyues.
