ପ୍ରଥମ ରାଜାବଳୀ 8

1 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଶଲୋମନ ଦାଉଦ-ନଗର ସିୟୋନରୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିୟମ-ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପ୍ରାଚୀନବର୍ଗଙ୍କୁ ଓ ବଂଶସମୂହର ପ୍ରଧାନବର୍ଗଙ୍କୁ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କର ପିତୃଗୃହାଧିପତି ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ଶଲୋମନ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଏକତ୍ର କଲେ।

Then King Salomon assembled the Elders of Israel, euen all the heads of the tribes, the chiefe fathers of the children of Israel vnto him in Ierusalem, for to bring vp the Arke of the couenant of the Lord from the citie of Dauid, which is Zion.

2 ତହିଁରେ ଏଥାନୀମ ନାମକ ସପ୍ତମ ମାସରେ ପର୍ବ ସମୟରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଲୋକ ଶଲୋମନ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଏକତ୍ର ହେଲେ।

And all the men of Israel assembled vnto King Salomon at the feast in the moneth of Ethanim, which is the seuenth moneth.

3 ପୁଣି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ସମସ୍ତେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ, ଯାଜକମାନେ ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ଉଠାଇଲେ।

And all the Elders of Israel came and the Priests tooke the Arke.

4 ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ଓ ସମାଗମ-ତମ୍ବୁ ଓ ତମ୍ବୁରେ ଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ପବିତ୍ର ପାତ୍ର ଆଣିଲେ; ଯାଜକ ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ଏହିସବୁ ଆଣିଲେ।

They bare the Arke of the Lord, and they bare the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the Tabernacle: those did the Priestes and Leuites bring vp.

5 ତହୁଁ ରାଜା ଶଲୋମନ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଏକତ୍ରିତ ସମଗ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ମେଷ ଓ ଗୋରୁ ବଳିଦାନ କଲେ, ତାହା ବାହୁଲ୍ୟ ହେତୁ ଅସଂଖ୍ୟ ଓ ଅପରିମେୟ ଥିଲା।

And King Salomon and all the Congregation of Israel, that were assembled vnto him, were with him before the Arke, offering sheepe and beeues, which could not be tolde, nor nombred for multitude.

6 ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯାଜକମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିୟମ-ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ତାହାର ସ୍ୱ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ଗୃହର ମହାପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନ ମହାପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନସ୍ଥ କିରୂବମାନଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷ ତଳକୁ ଆଣିଲେ।

So the Priestes brought the Arke of the couenant of the Lord vnto his place, into the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, euen vnder the wings of the Cherubims.

7 କାରଣ, କିରୂବମାନେ ସିନ୍ଦୁକର ସ୍ଥାନ ଉପରେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷ ବିସ୍ତାର କରିଥିଲେ, ପୁଣି, କିରୂବମାନେ ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ଓ ତହିଁ ସାଙ୍ଗୀ ଉପର ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରିଥିଲେ।

For ye Cherubims stretched out their wings ouer the place of the Arke, and the Cherubims couered the Arke, and the barres thereof aboue.

8 ଆଉ ସେହି ସାଙ୍ଗୀ ଏତେ ଦୀର୍ଘ ଥିଲା ଯେ, ତହିଁର ଅଗ୍ରଭାଗ ମହାପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନ ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥ ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଦେଖାଗଲା; ମାତ୍ର ବାହାରେ ଦେଖାଗଲା ନାହିଁ। ଆଜି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତାହା ସେଠାରେ ଅଛି।

And they drewe out the barres, that the endes of the barres might appeare out of the Sanctuarie before the oracle, but they were not seene without: and there they are vnto this day.

9 ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମିସର ଦେଶରୁ ବାହାରି ଆସିବା ବେଳେ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ନିୟମ କଲା ବେଳେ ହୋରେବ ନିକଟରେ ମୋଶା ଯେଉଁ ଦୁଇ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ଫଳକ ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ରଖିଥିଲେ, ତାହା ଛଡ଼ା ଆଉ କିଛି ତହିଁରେ ନ ଥିଲା।

Nothing was in the Arke saue the two tables of stone which Moses had put there at Horeb, where the Lord made a couenant with the children of Israel, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.

10 ଆଉ, ଯାଜକମାନେ ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ବାହାରି ଆସିଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହ ମେଘରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଲା;

And when the Priestes were come out of the Sanctuarie, the cloude filled the house of the Lord,

11 ତହିଁରେ ସେହି ମେଘ ସକାଶୁ ଯାଜକମାନେ ପରିଚର୍ଯ୍ୟା କରିବାକୁ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତାପରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଲା।

So that the Priestes could not stande to minister, because of the cloude: for the glorie of the Lord had filled the house of the Lord.

12 ତହୁଁ ଶଲୋମନ କହିଲେ, “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ନିବିଡ଼ ମେଘରେ ବାସ କରିବେ ବୋଲି କହିଅଛନ୍ତି।

Then spake Salomon, The Lord said, that he woulde dwell in the darke cloude.

13 ମୁଁ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ବସତି-ଗୃହ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ବାସ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ସ୍ଥାନ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଅଛି।”

I haue built thee an house to dwell in, an habitation for thee to abide in for euer.

14 ତହୁଁ ରାଜା ମୁଖ ଫେରାଇ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସମଗ୍ର ସମାଜକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କଲେ; ପୁଣି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସମଗ୍ର ସମାଜ ଠିଆ ହେଲେ।

And the King turned his face, and blessed all the Congregation of Israel: for all the Congregation of Israel stoode there.

15 ଆଉ ସେ କହିଲେ, “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଧନ୍ୟ, ଯେ ଆପଣା ମୁଖରେ ଆମ୍ଭ ପିତା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ଏହି କଥା କହିଥିଲେ ଓ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତରେ ତାହା ସଫଳ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଯଥା,

And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, who spake with his mouth vnto Dauid my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying,

16 ‘ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ମିସରରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିବା ଦିନାବଧି ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମ ସ୍ଥାପନାର୍ଥେ ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସମୁଦାୟ ବଂଶ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କୌଣସି ନଗର ମନୋନୀତ କରି ନାହୁଁ; ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ମନୋନୀତ କଲୁ।’

Since the day that I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no citie of all the tribes of Israel, to builde an house that my name might be there: but I haue chosen Dauid to be ouer my people Israel.

17 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନାମ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବାକୁ ମୋହର ପିତା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ସଂକଳ୍ପ ଥିଲା।

And it was in ye heart of Dauid my father to builde an house to the Name of the Lord God of Israel.

18 ମାତ୍ର, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋʼ ପିତା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ‘ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଏକ ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସଂକଳ୍ପ ଅଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଏହି ସଂକଳ୍ପ କରିବା ଉତ୍ତମ;

And the Lord said vnto Dauid my father, Where as it was in thine heart to build an house vnto my Name, thou diddest well, that thou wast so minded:

19 ତଥାପି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେହି ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଔରସଜାତ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୁତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବ।’

Neuerthelesse thou shalt not builde the house, but thy sonne that shall come out of thy loynes, he shall builde the house vnto my Name.

20 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣାର ଉକ୍ତ ଏହି କଥା ସଫଳ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; କାରଣ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ପିତା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ପଦରେ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସିଂହାସନରେ ଉପବିଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ସେହି ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲି।

And the Lord hath made good his worde that he spake: and I am risen vp in the roume of Dauid my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the Lord promised, and haue built the house for the Name of the Lord God of Israel.

21 ପୁଣି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିସର ଦେଶରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିବା ସମୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଯେଉଁ ନିୟମ କରିଥିଲେ, ତାହାଙ୍କ ସେହି ନିୟମର ଆଧାର-ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଁ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏକ ସ୍ଥାନ ନିରୂପଣ କରିଅଛି।”

And I haue prepared therein a place for the Arke, wherein is the couenant of the Lord which he made with our fathers, whe he brought them out of the lande of Egypt.

22 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଶଲୋମନ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସମଗ୍ର ସମାଜ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦି ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଠିଆ ହେଲେ ଓ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ଆଡ଼େ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କରି କହିଲେ;

Then Salomon stoode before the altar of the Lord in the sight of all the Congregation of Israel, and stretched out his handes towarde heauen,

23 “ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ଉପରିସ୍ଥ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ କିଅବା ନୀଚସ୍ଥ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କେହି ନାହିଁ; ତୁମ୍ଭର ଯେଉଁ ଦାସମାନେ ସର୍ବାନ୍ତଃକରଣ ସହିତ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଗମନାଗମନ କରନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ନିୟମ ଓ ଦୟା ପାଳନ କରିଥାଅ;

And sayd, O Lord God of Israel, there is no God like thee in heauen aboue, or in the earth beneath, thou that keepest couenant and mercie with thy seruants that walke before thee with all their heart,

24 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦାସ ମୋʼ ପିତା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ଯାହା ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲ, ତାହା ପାଳନ କରିଅଛ; ହଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ମୁଖରେ କହିଥିଲ, ପୁଣି, ଆଜି ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତରେ ତାହା ସଫଳ କରିଅଛ।

Thou that hast kept with thy seruant Dauid my father, that thou hast promised him: for thou spakest with thy mouth and hast fulfilled it with thine hande, as appeareth this day.

25 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ପିତା ଆପଣା ଦାସ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ କହିଥିଲ, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଯେପରି ଗମନାଗମନ କରିଅଛ, ସେହିପରି ତୁମ୍ଭର ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ଯେବେ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଗମନାଗମନ କରିବାକୁ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପଥରେ କେବଳ ସାବଧାନ ହେବେ, ତେବେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସିଂହାସନରେ ଉପବିଷ୍ଟ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବଂଶରେ ଲୋକର ଅଭାବ ନୋହିବ; ଏହେତୁ ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାର ଏହି ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ଏବେ ସଫଳ କର।’

Therefore now, Lord God of Israel, keepe with thy seruant Dauid my father that thou hast promised him, saying, Thou shalt not want a man in my sight to sit vpon ye throne of Israel: so that thy childre take heed to their way, that they walke before me; as thou hast walked in my sight

26 ଏହେତୁ ହେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୁଁ ବିନୟ କରୁଅଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦାସ ମୋʼ ପିତା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଯେଉଁ ବାକ୍ୟ କହିଅଛ, ତାହା ଦୃଢ଼ ହେଉ।

And nowe, O God of Israel, I pray thee, let thy worde be verified, which thou spakest vnto thy seruant Dauid my father.

27 ମାତ୍ର, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କʼଣ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ନିତାନ୍ତ ବାସ କରିବେ? ଦେଖ, ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ଓ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗର (ଉପରିସ୍ଥ) ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଧାରଣ କରି ନ ପାରେ; ତେବେ ମୋʼ ନିର୍ମିତ ଏହି ଗୃହ କʼଣ ପାରିବ?

Is it true in deede that God will dwell on the earth? beholde, the heauens, and the heauens of heauens are not able to conteine thee: howe much more vnable is this house that I haue built?

28 ତଥାପି, ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋʼ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦାସ ଆଜି ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଯେଉଁ କାକୂକ୍ତି ଓ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ନିବେଦନ କରୁଅଛି, ତାହା ଶୁଣିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦାସର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଓ ବିନତିରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କର;

But haue thou respect vnto the prayer of thy seruant, and to his supplication, O Lord, my God, to heare the cry and prayer which thy seruant prayeth before thee this day:

29 ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନ ବିଷୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହିଅଛ, ‘ଏହିଠାରେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମ ରହିବ,’ ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ଏହି ଗୃହ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଦିବାରାତ୍ର ମୁକ୍ତ ଥାଉ; ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନ ଅଭିମୁଖରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦାସ ଯାହା ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବ, ତାହା ଶୁଣ।

That thine eyes may be open toward this house, night and day, euen towarde the place whereof thou hast said, My Name shalbe there: that thou mayest hearken vnto the prayer which thy seruant prayeth in this place.

30 ପୁଣି, ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନ ଅଭିମୁଖରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦାସ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିନତିରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କର; ହଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ନିବାସ ସ୍ଥାନ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଥାଇ ତାହା ଶୁଣ ଓ ଶୁଣି କ୍ଷମା କର।

Heare thou therefore the supplication of thy seruant, and of thy people Israel, which pray in this place, and heare thou in the place of thine habitation, euen in heauen, and when thou hearest, haue mercie.

31 କେହି ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବାସୀ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପାପ କଲେ ଯେବେ ତାହାକୁ ଶପଥ କରାଇବା ପାଇଁ କୌଣସି ଶପଥ; ନିରୂପିତ ହୁଏ ଓ ସେ ଆସି ଏହି ଗୃହସ୍ଥିତ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦି ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଶପଥ କରେ,

When a man shall trespasse against his neighbour, and he lay vpon him an othe to cause him to sweare, and the swearer shall come before thine altar in this house,

32 ତେବେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଥାଇ ତାହା ଶୁଣି ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି କର ଓ ଆପଣା ଦାସମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କରି ଦୋଷୀର କର୍ମର ଫଳ ତାହାର ନିଜ ମସ୍ତକରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତାଇବା ପାଇଁ ତାହାକୁ ଦୋଷୀ କର; ପୁଣି, ଧାର୍ମିକକୁ ତାହାର ଧାର୍ମିକତା ପ୍ରମାଣେ ଫଳ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ଧାର୍ମିକ କର।

Then heare thou in heauen, and doe and iudge thy seruants, that thou condemne the wicked to bring his way vpon his head, and iustifie the righteous, to giue him according to his righteousnesse.

33 ତୁମ୍ଭ ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପାପ କରିବା ସକାଶୁ ଶତ୍ରୁ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ପରାସ୍ତ ହେଲେ ଯେବେ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ପୁନର୍ବାର ଫେରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମ ସ୍ୱୀକାର କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଏହି ଗୃହରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଓ ବିନତି କରନ୍ତି,

When thy people Israel shall be ouerthrowen before the enemie, because they haue sinned against thee, and turne againe to thee, and confesse thy Name, and pray and make supplication vnto thee in this house,

34 ତେବେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଥାଇ ତାହା ଶୁଣ ଓ ଆପଣା ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପାପ କ୍ଷମା କର ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଦେଇଅଛ, ସେଠାକୁ ପୁନର୍ବାର ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଣ।

Then heare thou in heauen, and be mercifull vnto the sinne of thy people Israel, and bring them againe vnto the lande, which thou gauest vnto their fathers.

35 ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପାପ କରିବା ସକାଶୁ ଯେବେ ଆକାଶ ରୁଦ୍ଧ ହୋଇ ବୃଷ୍ଟି ନ ହୁଏ, ତେବେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଳେଶ ଦେବା ବେଳେ ଯେବେ ସେମାନେ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନ ଅଭିମୁଖରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରନ୍ତି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମ ସ୍ୱୀକାର କରି ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପାପରୁ ଫେରନ୍ତି,

When heauen shalbe shut vp, and there shalbe no raine because they haue sinned against thee, and shall pray in this place, and confesse thy Name, and turne from their sinne, when thou doest afflict them,

36 ତେବେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଥାଇ ତାହା ଶୁଣ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଗନ୍ତବ୍ୟ ସତ୍‍ପଥ ବିଷୟରେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେଇ ଆପଣା ଦାସମାନଙ୍କର ଓ ଆପଣା ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପାପ କ୍ଷମା କର; ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଅଧିକାରାର୍ଥେ ଦତ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦେଶ ଉପରେ ବୃଷ୍ଟି କର।

Then heare thou in heauen, and pardon the sinne of thy seruants and of thy people Israel (when thou hast taught the the good way wherein they may walke) and giue raine vpon the land that thou hast giuen to thy people to inherite.

37 ଯେବେ ଦେଶରେ ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ହୁଏ, ଯେବେ ମହାମାରୀ ହୁଏ, ଯେବେ ଶସ୍ୟର କ୍ଷୟ କି ମ୍ଳାନି, ପଙ୍ଗପାଳ ବା କୀଟ ହୁଏ; ଯେବେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଶତ୍ରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶସ୍ଥ ନଗରସମୂହରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅବରୋଧ କରେ; କୌଣସି ମାରୀ ହୁଏ; କୌଣସି ରୋଗ ଘଟେ;

When there shalbe famine in the land, when there shalbe pestilence, when there shall be blasting, mildewe, grashopper or caterpiller, when their enemie shall besiege them in the cities of their lande, or any plague, or any sickenesse,

38 ତେବେ, ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମନଃପୀଡ଼ା ଜାଣି କୌଣସି ଲୋକ କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମଗ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଲୋକ ଏହି ଗୃହ ଆଡ଼େ ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କରି କୌଣସି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କି ବିନତି କଲେ;

Then what prayer, and supplication so euer shalbe made of any man or of all thy people Israel, when euery one shall knowe the plague in his owne heart, and stretch foorth his handes in this house,

39 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ନିବାସ ସ୍ଥାନ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଥାଇ ଶ୍ରବଣ କରି କ୍ଷମା କର ଓ ସିଦ୍ଧ କର, ଆଉ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଜାଣି ତାହାର ସକଳ ଗତି ଅନୁସାରେ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦିଅ; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ, କେବଳ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ହିଁ ସମୁଦାୟ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଜାଣୁଅଛ;

Heare thou then in heauen, in thy dwelling place, and be mercifull, and doe, and giue euery man according to all his wayes, as thou knowest his heart, (for thou only knowest the heartes of all the children of men)

40 ତାହାହେଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଦେଇଅଛ, ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବସତିର ସମସ୍ତ ଦିନ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରିବେ।

That they may feare thee as long as they liue in ye lad, which thou gauest vnto our fathers.

41 ଆହୁରି ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଲୋକଙ୍କର ମଧ୍ୟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ନୁହେଁ, ଏପରି କୌଣସି ବିଦେଶୀ ଯେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମ ସକାଶୁ ଦୂର ଦେଶରୁ ଆସେ;

Moreouer as touching the stranger that is not of thy people Israel, who shall come out of a farre countrey for thy Names sake,

42 କାରଣ, ବିଦେଶୀମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମହାନାମ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବଳବାନ ହସ୍ତ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିସ୍ତୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବାହୁର କଥା ଅବଶ୍ୟ ଶୁଣିବେ; ଏପରି ଲୋକ ଆସି ଯେବେ ଏହି ଗୃହ ଆଡ଼େ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରେ,

(When they shall heare of thy great name, and of thy mightie hande, and of thy stretched out arme) and shall come and pray in this house,

43 ତେବେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ନିବାସ ସ୍ଥାନ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଥାଇ ଶୁଣ ଓ ସେ ବିଦେଶୀ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଯାହା ଯାହା ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରେ, ତଦନୁସାରେ ତାହା ପ୍ରତି କର; ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଲୋକ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଭୟ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପୃଥିବୀସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମ ଜ୍ଞାତ ହେବେ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିର୍ମିତ ଏହି ଗୃହ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମରେ ଖ୍ୟାତ ବୋଲି ଜାଣିବେ।

Heare thou in heauen thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth for vnto thee: that all the people of the earth may know thy Name, and feare thee, as do thy people Israel: and that they may know, that thy Name is called vpon in this house which I haue built.

44 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେକୌଣସି ଆଡ଼େ ପଠାଇଲେ ଯେବେ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଶତ୍ରୁ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ବାହାରେ ଯାଇ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମନୋନୀତ ଏହି ନଗର ଆଡ଼େ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୋ ନିର୍ମିତ ଏହି ଗୃହ ଆଡ଼େ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବେ,

When thy people shall go out to battell against their enemie by the way that thou shalt sende them, and shall pray vnto the Lord towarde the way of the citie which thou hast chosen, and toward the house that I haue built for thy Name,

45 ତେବେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଥାଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଓ ବିନତି ଶୁଣି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିଚାର ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି କର।

Heare thou then in heauen their prayer and their supplication, and iudge their cause.

46 ଯେବେ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପାପ କରନ୍ତି, କାରଣ ଯେ ପାପ ନ କରେ, ଏପରି କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ନାହିଁ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କ୍ରୁଦ୍ଧ ହୋଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶତ୍ରୁ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲେ ଯେବେ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ଦୂରସ୍ଥ ଅବା ନିକଟସ୍ଥ ଶତ୍ରୁ ଦେଶକୁ ନେଇଯାʼନ୍ତି;

If they sinne against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not) and thou be angry with them, and deliuer them vnto the enemies, so that they cary them away prisoners vnto the land of the enemies, either farre or neere,

47 ତେବେ ସେମାନେ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶକୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ ରୂପେ ନୀତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଯେବେ ସେମାନେ ମନେ ମନେ ବିବେଚନା କରି ଅନୁତାପ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ନେଇଗଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ବିନତି କରି କହନ୍ତି, ‘ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପାପ କଲୁ ଓ ବିପଥଗାମୀ ହେଲୁ ଓ ଦୁଷ୍ଟପଣ କଲୁ;’

Yet if they turne againe vnto their heart in the lande (to the which they be caryed away captiues) and returne and pray vnto thee in the lande of them that caryed them away captiues, saying, We haue sinned, we haue transgressed, and done wickedly,

48 ଆଉ, ଯେଉଁ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ନେଇଗଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶରେ ଥାଇ ଯେବେ ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଣ ସହିତ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଫେରନ୍ତି, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣକୁ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଦେଇଅଛ, ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ସେହି ଦେଶ ଆଡ଼େ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମନୋନୀତ ନଗର ଆଡ଼େ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୋʼ ନିର୍ମିତ ଗୃହ ଆଡ଼େ ମୁଖ କରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରନ୍ତି,

If they turne againe vnto thee with all their heart, and with all their soule in the lande of their enemies, which led them away captiues, and pray vnto thee toward the way of their land, which thou gauest vnto their fathers, and toward the citie which thou hast chosen, and the house, which I haue built for thy Name,

49 ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ନିବାସ ସ୍ଥାନ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଥାଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଓ ବିନତି ଶୁଣ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିଚାର ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି କର;

Then heare thou their prayer and their supplication in heauen thy dwelling place, and iudge their cause,

50 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପାପକାରୀ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କୃତ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ଅଧର୍ମ କ୍ଷମା କର; ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ନେଇଗଲେ, ସେମାନେ ଯେପରି ଦୟା କରିବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୟାପାତ୍ର କର।

And be mercifull vnto thy people that haue sinned against thee, and vnto all their iniquities (wherein they haue transgressed against thee) and cause that they, which led them away captiues, may haue pitie and compassion on them:

51 କାରଣ, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲୋକ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଧିକାର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିସରରୁ, ଲୌହ-ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ଡ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଆଣିଅଛ;

For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest out of Egypt from the middes of the yron fornace.

52 ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦାସର ବିନତି ପ୍ରତି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ବିନତି ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ ଥାଉ ଓ ସେମାନେ ଯେକୌଣସି ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଡାକି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରନ୍ତି, ସେସମୟରେ ତାହା ଶୁଣ।

Let thine eyes be open vnto the prayer of thy seruant, and vnto the prayer of thy people Israel, to hearken vnto them, in all that they call for vnto thee.

53 କାରଣ, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିସରରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିବା ସମୟରେ ଆପଣା ଦାସ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ଯେପରି କହିଥିଲ, ତଦନୁସାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ଅଧିକାର ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ପୃଥିବୀସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ପୃଥକ କରିଅଛ।”

For thou diddest separate them to thee from among all people of the earth for an inheritance, as thou saidest by the hand of Moses thy seruant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord God.

54 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଶଲୋମନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଏହିସବୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଓ ବିନତି-ନିବେଦନ କରିବାର ସମାପ୍ତ କରନ୍ତେ, ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦି ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଜାନୁପାତରୁ ଓ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ଆଡ଼େ ହସ୍ତ-ବିସ୍ତାରକରଣରୁ ଉଠିଲେ।

And when Salomon had made an ende of praying all this prayer and supplication vnto the Lord, he arose from before the altar of the Lord, from kneeling on his knees, and stretching of his handes to heauen,

55 ପୁଣି, ସେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ୱରରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସମଗ୍ର ସମାଜକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରି କହିଲେ,

And stoode and blessed all the Congregation of Israel with a loud voyce, saying,

56 “ଯେଉଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣାର ସକଳ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ନିଜ ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ; ସେ ଆପଣା ଦାସ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ଯେ ଯେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ, ସେହି ସକଳ ଉତ୍ତମ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞାର ଏକ କଥା ହିଁ ବିଫଳ ହୋଇ ନାହିଁ।

Blessed be the Lord that hath giuen rest vnto his people Israel, according to all that hee promised: there hath not fayled one word of all his good promise which he promised by the hand of Moses his seruant.

57 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପିତୃଲୋକଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯେପରି ଥିଲେ, ସେହିପରି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଥାଉନ୍ତୁ; ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତ୍ୟାଗ ନ କରନ୍ତୁ, କିଅବା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଦୂରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ନ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ।

The Lord our God be with vs, as he was with our fathers, that he forsake vs not, neither leaue vs,

58 ତାହାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ପଥରେ ଚାଲିବା ପାଇଁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦତ୍ତ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସମସ୍ତ ଆଜ୍ଞା, ବିଧି ଓ ଶାସନ ପାଳନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣକୁ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତି ଆକର୍ଷଣ କରନ୍ତୁ।

That he may bow our heartes vnto him, that we may walke in all his waies, and keepe his commandements, and his statutes, and his lawes, which he commanded our fathers.

59 ଆଉ, ମୁଁ ଏହି ଯେସବୁ କଥାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ନିବେଦନ କଲି, ତାହା ଦିବାରାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଗୋଚରରେ ଥାଉ, ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରତିଦିନର ପ୍ରୟୋଜନାନୁସାରେ ସେ ଆପଣା ଦାସର ବିଚାର ଓ ଆପଣା ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ବିଚାର ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି କରନ୍ତୁ;

And these my wordes, which I haue prayed before the Lord, be neere vnto the Lord our God day and night, that he defende the cause of his seruant, and the cause of his people Israel alway as the matter requireth,

60 ତହିଁରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତାହାଙ୍କ ଛଡ଼ା ଅନ୍ୟ ନାହିଁ, ଏହା ପୃଥିବୀସ୍ଥ ସମୁଦାୟ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ଜ୍ଞାତ ହେବେ।

That all the people of ye earth may knowe, that the Lord is God, and none other.

61 ଏହେତୁ ଆଜିର ନ୍ୟାୟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବିଧିରୂପ ପଥରେ ଚାଲିବା ପାଇଁ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଥାଉ।”

Let your heart therefore be perfit with the Lord our God to walke in his statutes, and to keepe his commandements, as this day.

62 ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ରାଜା ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସମଗ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ।

Then the King and all Israel with him offred sacrifice before the Lord.

63 ପୁଣି, ଶଲୋମନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ବାଇଶ ହଜାର ଗୋରୁ ଓ ଏକ ଲକ୍ଷ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ହଜାର ମେଷ ମଙ୍ଗଳାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ। ଏହିରୂପେ ରାଜା ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସମସ୍ତ ସନ୍ତାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କଲେ।

And Salomon offered a sacrifice of peace offrings which he offered vnto the Lord, to wit, two and twentie thousande beeues, and an hundreth and twentie thousande sheepe: so the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the Lord.

64 ସେହି ଦିନ ରାଜା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହ ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥ ପ୍ରାଙ୍ଗଣର ମଧ୍ୟଦେଶ ପବିତ୍ର କଲେ; କାରଣ, ସେଠାରେ ସେ ହୋମବଳି, ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ଓ ମଙ୍ଗଳାର୍ଥକ ବଳିର ମେଦ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ; ଯେହେତୁ ହୋମବଳି, ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ଓ ମଙ୍ଗଳାର୍ଥକ ବଳିର ମେଦ ଧରିବା ପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥ ପିତ୍ତଳମୟ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦି ସାନ ଥିଲା।

The same day did the King halowe the middle of the court, that was before the house of the Lord: for there he made burnt offerings, and the meate offrings, and the fat of the peace offeringes, because the brasen altar that was before the Lord, was too litle to receiue the burnt offerings, and the meate offerings, and the fat of the peace offrings.

65 ସେସମୟରେ ଶଲୋମନ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ହମାତ୍‍ର ପ୍ରବେଶ ସ୍ଥାନଠାରୁ ମିସରର ନଦୀ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସମଗ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ମହାସମାଜ ସାତ ଦିନ ଆଉ ସାତ ଦିନ, ଏପରି ଚଉଦ ଦିନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଉତ୍ସବ କଲେ।

And Salomon made at that time a feast and all Israel with him, a very great Congregation, euen from the entring in of Hamath vnto the riuer of Egypt, before the Lord our God, seuen dayes and seuen dayes, euen fourteene dayes.

66 ଅଷ୍ଟମ ଦିନରେ ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଦାୟ କରନ୍ତେ, ସେମାନେ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ କଲେ, ପୁଣି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ଦାସ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଓ ଆପଣା ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ପ୍ରତି ଯେସବୁ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ଦେଖାଇଥିଲେ, ତହିଁ ସକାଶୁ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ଓ ହୃଷ୍ଟଚିତ୍ତ ହୋଇ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ତମ୍ବୁକୁ ଗଲେ।

And the eight day he sent the people away: and they thanked the King and went vnto their tentes ioyous and with glad heart, because of al the goodnesse that the Lord had done for Dauid his seruant, and for Israel his people.
