ପ୍ରଥମ ରାଜାବଳୀ 15

1 ନବାଟର ପୁତ୍ର ଯାରବୀୟାମ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ରାଜତ୍ଵର ଅଠର ବର୍ଷରେ ଅବୀୟାମ ଯିହୁଦା ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ।

And in the eighteenth yeere of King Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, reigned Abiiam ouer Iudah.

2 ସେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ତିନି ବର୍ଷ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କଲେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ମାତାର ନାମ ମାଖା, ସେ ଅବଶାଲୋମର କନ୍ୟା ଥିଲା।

Three yeere reigned hee in Ierusalem, and his mothers name was Maachah the daughter of Abishalom.

3 ତାଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବରେ ତାଙ୍କର ପିତା ଯେସବୁ ପାପ-ପଥରେ ଚାଲିଥିଲେ, ସେ ସେହିପରି ଚାଲିଲେ; ଆଉ ତାଙ୍କର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଯେପରି ଥିଲା, ତାଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସେପରି ସିଦ୍ଧ ନ ଥିଲା।

And hee walked in all the sinnes of his father, which hee had done before him: and his heart was not perfit with the Lord his God as the heart of Dauid his father.

4 ତଥାପି ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ସକାଶୁ ତାଙ୍କ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ସୁସ୍ଥିର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ପ୍ରଦୀପ ଦେଲେ।

But for Dauids sake did the Lord his God giue him a light in Ierusalem, and set vp his sonne after him, and established Ierusalem,

5 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଯାହା ଯଥାର୍ଥ, ତାହା ଦାଉଦ କରିଥିଲେ ଓ କେବଳ ହିତ୍ତୀୟ ଊରୀୟର କଥା ଛଡ଼ା ଆଉ କୌଣସି ବିଷୟରେ ସେ ଆପଣାର ଯାବଜ୍ଜୀବନ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଦତ୍ତ ଆଜ୍ଞାରୁ ବିମୁଖ ହୋଇ ନ ଥିଲେ।

Because Dauid did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and turned from nothing that he commanded him, all the dayes of his life, saue onely in the matter of Vriah the Hittite.

6 ଆଉ ଯାରବୀୟାମଙ୍କର ଯାବଜ୍ଜୀବନ ତାଙ୍କର ଓ ରିହବୀୟାମଙ୍କର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ଚାଲିଲା।

And there was warre betweene Rehoboam and Ieroboam as long as he liued.

7 ପୁଣି, ଅବୀୟାମଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟା କି ଯିହୁଦା-ରାଜାଗଣର ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖା ନାହିଁ? ଆଉ ଅବୀୟାମ ଓ ଯାରବୀୟାମ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ଥିଲା।

The rest also of the actes of Abiiam, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah? there was also warre betweene Abiiam, and Ieroboam.

8 ପୁଣି, ଅବୀୟାମଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ପରେ, ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଦାଉଦ-ନଗରରେ କବର ଦେଲେ; ତହୁଁ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଆସା ତାହାଙ୍କ ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।

And Abiiam slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the citie of Dauid: and Asa his sonne reigned in his steade.

9 ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ଯାରବୀୟାମଙ୍କର ରାଜତ୍ଵର କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରେ ଆସା ଯିହୁଦା ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ।

And in the twentie yeere of Ieroboam King of Israel reigned Asa ouer Iudah.

10 ସେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ଏକଚାଳିଶ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କଲେ, ଆଉ ତାଙ୍କର ମାତାମହୀର ନାମ ମାଖା, ସେ ଅବଶାଲୋମର କନ୍ୟା ଥିଲା।

He reigned in Ierusalem one and fourtie yeere, and his mothers name was Maachah the daughter of Abishalom.

11 ପୁଣି, ଆସା ଆପଣା ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ନ୍ୟାୟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଯାହା ଯଥାର୍ଥ, ତାହା କଲେ।

And Asa did right in the eyes of the Lord, as did Dauid his father.

12 ଆଉ ସେ ଦେଶରୁ ସଦୋମୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ତଡ଼ିଦେଲେ ଓ ଆପଣା ପିତୃଗଣ ନିର୍ମିତ ଦେବତା ସମସ୍ତ ଦୂର କରିଦେଲେ।

And he tooke away the Sodomites out of the lande, and put away all the idoles that his fathers had made.

13 ମଧ୍ୟ ଆପଣା ମାତାମହୀ ମାଖା ଆଶେରା ଦେବୀ ରୂପେ ଏକ ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତିମା ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଥିବାରୁ ସେ ତାହାକୁ ରାଣୀପଦରୁ ଚ୍ୟୁତ କଲେ ଓ ଆସା ତାହାର ସେହି ପ୍ରତିମା ଛେଦନ କରି କିଦ୍ରୋଣ ନଦୀ ନିକଟରେ ତାହା ପୋଡ଼ି ଦେଲେ।

And he put downe Maachah his mother also from her estate, because shee had made an idole in a groue: and Asa destroyed her idoles, and burnt them by the brooke Kidron.

14 ମାତ୍ର ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀସକଳ ଦୂରୀକୃତ ନୋହିଲା; ତଥାପି ଆସାଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଯାବଜ୍ଜୀବନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସିଦ୍ଧ ଥିଲା।

But they put not downe the hie places. Neuertheles Asas heart was vpright with the Lord all his dayes.

15 ପୁଣି, ସେ ଆପଣା ପିତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠିତ, ଆପଣାର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠିତ ରୂପା, ସୁନା ଓ ପାତ୍ରସବୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହକୁ ଆଣିଲେ।

Also he brought in the holy vessels of his father, and the things that he had dedicated vnto ye house of the Lord, siluer, and golde, and vessels.

16 ପୁଣି, ଆସା ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ବାଶାଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଯାବଜ୍ଜୀବନ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ଚାଲିଲା।

And there was warre betweene Asa and Baasha King of Israel all their dayes.

17 ଆଉ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଆସାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ କାହାରିକୁ ଯିବା ଆସିବାକୁ ନ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ବାଶା ଯିହୁଦା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯାତ୍ରା କରି ରାମା ନଗର ଦୃଢ଼ କଲେ।

Then Baasha king of Israel went vp against Iudah, and buylt Ramah, so that he woulde let none go out or in to Asa King of Iudah.

18 ତହିଁରେ ଆସା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହର ଭଣ୍ଡାରରୁ, ରାଜଗୃହର ଭଣ୍ଡାରରୁ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ସବୁ ରୂପା ଓ ସୁନା ନେଇ ଆପଣା ଦାସମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲେ ଓ ଆସା ରାଜା ହିଷୀୟୋଣର ପୌତ୍ର ଟବ୍ରିମ୍ମୋଣର ପୁତ୍ର ବିନ୍‍ହଦଦ୍‍ ନାମକ ଦମ୍ମେଶକ ନିବାସୀ ଅରାମୀୟ ରାଜା ନିକଟକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇ ଏହି କଥା କହିଲେ,

Then Asa tooke all the siluer and the gold that was left in the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the kings house, and deliuered them into the handes of his seruantes, and King Asa sent them to Ben-hadad the sonne of Tabrimon, the sonne of Hezion king of Aram that dwelt at Damascus, saying,

19 “ମୋର ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମଧ୍ୟରେ, ମୋʼ ପିତା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତାଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ନିୟମ ଅଛି; ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ରୂପା ଓ ସୁନାର ଭେଟି ପଠାଇଲି; ଯାଅ, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ବାଶା ସଙ୍ଗେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଯେଉଁ ନିୟମ ଅଛି, ତାହା ଭାଙ୍ଗିଦିଅ, ତହିଁରେ ସେ ମୋʼ ନିକଟରୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ କରିବ।”

There is a couenant betweene me and thee, and betweene my father and thy father: behold, I haue sent vnto thee a present of siluer and golde: come, breake thy couenant with Baasha King of Israel, that he may depart from me.

20 ଏଥିରେ ବିନ୍‍ହଦଦ୍‍ ଆସା ରାଜାଙ୍କର କଥାରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କରି ଆପଣା ସେନାପତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ନାନା ନଗର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପଠାଇ ଇୟୋନ୍‍, ଦାନ୍, ଆବେଲ୍‍-ବେଥ୍-ମାଖା, ସମୁଦାୟ କିନ୍ନେରତ୍‍ ଓ ନପ୍ତାଲିର ସମସ୍ତ ଦେଶ ପରାସ୍ତ କଲା।

So Ben-hadad hearkened vnto King Asa, and sent the captaines of the hosts, which he had, against the cities of Israel, and smote lion, and Dan, and Abel-beth-maachah, and all Cinneroth, with all the land of Naphtali.

21 ତହୁଁ ବାଶା ଏହି କଥା ଶୁଣି ରାମା ଦୃଢ଼କରଣରୁ କ୍ଷାନ୍ତ ହୋଇ ତିର୍ସାରେ ବାସ କଲେ।

And when Baasha heard thereof, hee left buylding of Ramah, and dwelt in Tirzah.

22 ତେବେ ଆସା ରାଜା ସମୁଦାୟ ଯିହୁଦା ନିକଟରେ ଘୋଷଣା କଲେ; କାହାକୁ ହିଁ ଛାଡ଼ିଲେ ନାହିଁ; ତହୁଁ ବାଶା ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ଓ କାଷ୍ଠ ନେଇ ରାମା ନଗର ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଥିଲେ, ତାହାସବୁ ସେମାନେ ବହି ନେଇଗଲେ। ତହିଁରେ ଆସା ରାଜା ବିନ୍ୟାମୀନ୍‍ର ଗେବା ଓ ମିସ୍ପା ନଗର ଦୃଢ଼ କଲେ।

Then king Asa assembled al Iudah, none excepted. and they tooke the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha had buylt, and King Asa built with them Geba of Beniamin and Mizpah.

23 ଏହି ଆସାଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ସମସ୍ତ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ପରାକ୍ରମ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟା, ପୁଣି, ଯେ ଯେ ନଗର ସେ ଦୃଢ଼ କରିଥିଲେ, ସେହି ସବୁ କଥା କି ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖା ନାହିଁ? ମାତ୍ର ବୃଦ୍ଧାବସ୍ଥାରେ ତାଙ୍କର ପାଦରେ ରୋଗ ହୋଇଥିଲା।

And the rest of all the actes of Asa, and all his might, and all that he did, and the cities which he buylt, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah? but in his olde age he was diseased in his feete.

24 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆସାଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ପରେ, ସେ ଆପଣା ପିତା ଦାଉଦ-ନଗରରେ ଆପଣା ପିତୃଲୋକଙ୍କ ସହିତ କବର ପାଇଲେ, ପୁଣି, ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିହୋଶାଫଟ୍‍ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।

And Asa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the citie of Dauid his father. And Iehoshaphat his sonne reigned in his steade.

25 ଯିହୁଦାର ଆସା ରାଜାଙ୍କର ରାଜତ୍ଵର ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ବର୍ଷରେ ଯାରବୀୟାମଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ନାଦବ୍‍ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ ଓ ସେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ଦୁଇ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।

And Nadab the sonne of Ieroboam began to reigne ouer Israel the second yere of Asa King of Iudah, and reigned ouer Israel two yeere.

26 ଆଉ ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ କୁକର୍ମ କଲେ ଓ ଆପଣା ପିତାଙ୍କର ପଥରେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପିତା ଯଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ପାପ କରାଇଥିଲେ, ସେହି ପାପରେ ଚାଲିଲେ।

And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, walking in the way of his father, and in his sinne wherewith he made Israel to sinne.

27 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଇଷାଖର ବଂଶୀୟ ଅହୀୟର ପୁତ୍ର ବାଶା ତାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଚକ୍ରାନ୍ତ କଲେ; ପୁଣି, ବାଶା ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଗିବ୍ବଥୋନ ନଗର ନିକଟରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କଲେ; କାରଣ ନାଦବ୍‍ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସେସମୟରେ ଗିବ୍ବଥୋନ ଅବରୋଧ କରୁଥିଲେ।

And Baasha the sonne of Ahijah of ye house of Issachar conspired against him, and Baasha slue him at Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistims: for Nadab and all Israel layde siege to Gibbethon.

28 ଯିହୁଦାର ଆସା ରାଜାଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ତୃତୀୟ ବର୍ଷରେ ବାଶା ନାଦବ୍‍କୁ ବଧ କରି ତାଙ୍କ ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।

Euen in the third yeere of Asa King of Iudah did Baasha slay him, and reigned in his steade.

29 ପୁଣି, ସେ ରାଜା ହେବାକ୍ଷଣେ ଯାରବୀୟାମଙ୍କର ସମୁଦାୟ ବଂଶକୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କଲେ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ଦାସ ଶୀଲୋନୀୟ ଅହୀୟ ହସ୍ତରେ ଯେଉଁ କଥା କହିଥିଲେ, ତଦନୁସାରେ ବାଶା ଯାରବୀୟାମଙ୍କର ଏକ ପ୍ରାଣୀକୁ ହିଁ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ରଖିଲେ ନାହିଁ, ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ସଂହାର କଲେ।

And when he was King, he smote all the house of Ieroboam, he left none aliue to Ieroboam, vntill hee had destroyed him, according to the word of the Lord which he spake by his seruant Ahijah the Shilonite,

30 କାରଣ ଯାରବୀୟାମ ନିଜେ ପାପ କରି ତଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ପାପ କରାଇଲେ ଓ ବିରକ୍ତିଜନକ କର୍ମ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କଲେ।

Because of the sinnes of Ieroboam which he committed, and wherewith he made Israel to sinne, by his prouocation, wherewith he prouoked the Lord God of Israel.

31 ଏହି ନାଦବ୍‍ଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ସକଳ କ୍ରିୟା କି ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖା ନାହିଁ?

And the residue of the actes of Nadab, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?

32 ପୁଣି, ଆସା ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ବାଶାଙ୍କର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଯାବଜ୍ଜୀବନ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ଚାଲିଲା।

And there was warre betweene Asa and Baasha King of Israel, all their dayes.

33 ଯିହୁଦାର ଆସା ରାଜାଙ୍କର ରାଜତ୍ଵର ତୃତୀୟ ବର୍ଷରେ ଅହୀୟର ପୁତ୍ର ବାଶା ତିର୍ସାରେ ସମୁଦାୟ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ଚବିଶ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କଲେ।

In the thirde yeere of Asa King of Iudah, began Baasha the sonne of Ahijah to reigne ouer all Israel in Tirzah, and reigned foure and twentie yeeres.

34 ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ କୁକର୍ମ କଲେ ଓ ଯାରବୀୟାମଙ୍କର ପଥରେ ଓ ଯଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଯାରବୀୟାମ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ପାପ କରାଇଥିଲେ, ତାଙ୍କର ସେହି ପାପରେ ଚାଲିଲେ।

And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, walking in the way of Ieroboam, and in his sinne, wherewith he made Israel to sinne.
