ପ୍ରଥମ ବଂଶାବଳୀ 5
1 ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ରୁବେନ୍ର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର କଥା, ରୁବେନ୍ ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ଥିଲା; ମାତ୍ର ସେ ଆପଣା ପିତୃଶଯ୍ୟା ଅଶୁଚି କରିବାରୁ ତାହାର ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠାଧିକାର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋଷେଫର ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା; ତଥାପି ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠାଧିକାରାନୁସାରେ ବଂଶାବଳୀ ଲେଖା ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ।
The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel (for he was the firstborn, but because he defiled his father’s couch, his birthright was given to the sons of Joseph the son of Israel; and the genealogy is not to be listed according to the birthright.
2 କାରଣ ଯିହୁଦା ଆପଣା ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ପରାକ୍ରମୀ ହେଲା ଓ ତାହାଠାରୁ ଅଧିପତି ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହେଲେ; ମାତ୍ର ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠାଧିକାର ଯୋଷେଫର ହେଲା;
For Judah prevailed above his brothers, and from him came the prince; but the birthright was Joseph’s)—
3 ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠ ପୁତ୍ର ରୁବେନ୍ର ସନ୍ତାନ ହନୋକ ଓ ପଲ୍ଲୁ, ହିଷ୍ରୋଣ ଓ କର୍ମି।
the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel: Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.
4 ଯୋୟେଲର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ; ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ର ଶମୟୀୟ, ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ର ଗୋଗ୍, ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ର ଶିମୀୟି;
The sons of Joel: Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,
5 ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ର ମୀଖା, ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ର ରାୟା, ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ର ବାଲ୍;
Micah his son, Reaiah his son, Baal his son,
6 ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ର ବେରା, ଯାହାକୁ ଅଶୂର-ରାଜା ତିଗ୍ଲତ୍-ପିଲ୍ନେଷର ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ନେଇଗଲା; ସେ ରୁବେନୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ଅଧିପତି ଥିଲା।
and Beerah his son, whom Tilgath Pilneser king of Assyria carried away captive. He was prince of the Reubenites.
7 ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବଂଶାବଳୀ ଲେଖାଗଲା, ସେତେବେଳେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ଅନୁସାରେ ଏହାର ଏହି ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ଥିଲେ; ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯିୟୀୟେଲ୍ ଓ ଜିଖରୀୟ
His brothers by their families, when the genealogy of their generations was listed: the chief, Jeiel, and Zechariah,
8 ଓ ଯୋୟେଲର ପ୍ରପୌତ୍ର ଶେମାର ପୌତ୍ର ଆସସ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର ବେଲା, ସେ ଅରୋୟେର ଓ ନବୋ ଓ ବାଲ୍-ମୀୟୋନ୍ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବାସ କଲା।
and Bela the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel, who lived in Aroer, even to Nebo and Baal Meon;
9 ପୁଣି, ପୂର୍ବ ଦିଗରେ ସେ ଫରାତ୍ ନଦୀଠାରୁ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର-ପ୍ରବେଶ-ସ୍ଥାନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବାସ କଲା; କାରଣ ଗିଲୀୟଦ ଦେଶରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଶୁଗଣ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଥିଲେ।
and he lived eastward even to the entrance of the wilderness from the river Euphrates, because their livestock were multiplied in the land of Gilead.
10 ପୁଣି, ଶାଉଲଙ୍କର ସମୟରେ ସେମାନେ ହାଗରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରନ୍ତେ, ହାଗରୀୟମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ପତିତ ହେଲେ; ତହୁଁ ଏମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ତମ୍ବୁରେ ଗିଲୀୟଦ ଦେଶର ପୂର୍ବ ଦିଗରେ ସର୍ବତ୍ର ବାସ କଲେ।
In the days of Saul, they made war with the Hagrites, who fell by their hand; and they lived in their tents throughout all the land east of Gilead.
11 ପୁଣି, ଗାଦ୍ର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ସଲଖା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବାଶନ ଦେଶରେ ବାସ କଲେ।
The sons of Gad lived beside them in the land of Bashan to Salecah:
12 ଯୋୟେଲ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଓ ଶାଫମ୍ ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ, ଆଉ ଯାନୟ ଓ ଶାଫଟ୍ ବାଶନରେ ରହିଲେ;
Joel the chief, Shapham the second, Janai, and Shaphat in Bashan.
13 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପିତୃବଂଶଜ ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ମୀଖାୟେଲ, ମଶୁଲ୍ଲମ୍, ଶେବଃ, ଯୋରୟ, ଯାକନ୍, ସୀୟ ଓ ଏବର, ସାତ ଜଣ।
Their brothers of their fathers’ houses: Michael, Meshullam, Sheba, Jorai, Jacan, Zia, and Eber, seven.
14 ବୂଷ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର ଯହଦୋ, ଯହଦୋର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିହିଶୟ, ଯିହିଶୟର ପୁତ୍ର ମୀଖାୟେଲ, ମୀଖାୟେଲର ପୁତ୍ର ଗିଲୀୟଦ, ଗିଲୀୟଦର ପୁତ୍ର ଯାରୋହ, ଯାରୋହର ପୁତ୍ର ହୁରି; ହୁରିର ପୁତ୍ର ଅବୀହୟିଲ, ସେମାନେ ସେହି ଅବୀହୟିଲର ସନ୍ତାନ ଥିଲେ।
These were the sons of Abihail, the son of Huri, the son of Jaroah, the son of Gilead, the son of Michael, the son of Jeshishai, the son of Jahdo, the son of Buz;
15 ଗୂନିର ପୌତ୍ର ଅବ୍ଦୀୟେଲର ପୁତ୍ର ଅହି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପିତୃବଂଶର ପ୍ରଧାନ ଥିଲା।
Ahi the son of Abdiel, the son of Guni, chief of their fathers’ houses.
16 ସେମାନେ ଗିଲୀୟଦରେ, ବାଶନରେ ତହିଁର ସମସ୍ତ ଉପନଗରରେ ଓ ସେସବୁର ସୀମା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଶାରୋଣର ସମସ୍ତ ତଳିଭୂମିରେ ବାସ କଲେ।
They lived in Gilead in Bashan and in its towns, and in all the pasture lands of Sharon as far as their borders.
17 ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଯୋଥମ୍ଙ୍କର ସମୟରେ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ଯାରବୀୟାମଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ଏସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ବଂଶାବଳୀ ଲିଖିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା।
All these were listed by genealogies in the days of Jotham king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.
18 ରୁବେନ୍ର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ପୁଣି, ଗାଦୀୟ, ମନଃଶିର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧ ବଂଶ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଢାଲ, ଖଡ୍ଗ ଧରିବାକୁ, ଧନୁ ମାରିବାକୁ ସମର୍ଥ ଓ ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ନିପୁଣ ଚୌରାଳିଶ ହଜାର ସାତ ଶହ ଷାଠିଏ ଜଣ ବିକ୍ରମୀ ପୁରୁଷ ଯୁଦ୍ଧଯାତ୍ରା କରିବାକୁ ସମର୍ଥ ଥିଲେ।
The sons of Reuben, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, of valiant men, men able to bear buckler and sword, able to shoot with bow, and skilful in war, were forty-four thousand and seven hundred and sixty that were able to go out to war.
19 ସେମାନେ ହାଗରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ, ଯିଟୁର, ନାଫୀଶ୍ ଓ ନୋଦବ୍ ସହିତ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କଲେ।
They made war with the Hagrites, with Jetur, and Naphish, and Nodab.
20 ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ପାଇଲେ, ତହିଁରେ ହାଗରୀୟମାନେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗୀ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପିତ ହେଲେ; କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କରନ୍ତେ, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣିଲେ; ଯେହେତୁ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କଲେ।
They were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all who were with them; for they cried to God in the battle, and he answered them because they put their trust in him.
21 ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଶୁ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉଷ୍ଟ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ପଚାଶ ହଜାର, ମେଷ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଅଢ଼ାଇ ଲକ୍ଷ, ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଦୁଇ ହଜାର ଓ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଏକ ଲକ୍ଷ ନେଇଗଲେ।
They took away their livestock: of their camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred and fifty thousand, and of donkeys two thousand, and of men one hundred thousand.
22 କାରଣ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆଡ଼ୁ ହେବାରୁ ଅନେକ ହତ ହୋଇ ପଡ଼ିଲେ। ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ବନ୍ଦୀତ୍ୱ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ବାସ କଲେ।
For many fell slain, because the war was of God. They lived in their place until the captivity.
23 ଆଉ ମନଃଶିର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧ ବଂଶର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ସେହି ଦେଶରେ ବାସ କଲେ; ସେମାନେ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇ ବାଶନଠାରୁ ବାଲ୍-ହର୍ମୋନ୍, ସନୀର୍ ଓ ହର୍ମୋଣ ପର୍ବତ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବ୍ୟାପିଗଲେ।
The children of the half-tribe of Manasseh lived in the land. They increased from Bashan to Baal Hermon, Senir, and Mount Hermon.
24 ପୁଣି, ଏମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପିତୃବଂଶର ପ୍ରଧାନ ଥିଲେ, ଯଥା, ଏଫର, ଈଶୀ, ଇଲୀୟେଲ୍, ଅସ୍ରୀୟେଲ, ଯିରିମୀୟ, ହୋଦବୀୟ ଓ ଯହଦୀୟେଲ୍, ଏସମସ୍ତେ ମହାବିକ୍ରମଶାଳୀ, ବିଖ୍ୟାତ ଓ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପିତୃବଂଶର ପ୍ରଧାନ ଥିଲେ।
These were the heads of their fathers’ houses: Epher, Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Hodaviah, and Jahdiel—mighty men of valour, famous men, heads of their fathers’ houses.
25 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସତ୍ୟ-ଲଙ୍ଘନ କଲେ, ଆଉ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ବିନାଶ କରିଥିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦେବଗଣର ଅନୁଗାମୀ ହୋଇ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କଲେ।
They trespassed against the God of their fathers, and played the prostitute after the gods of the peoples of the land whom God destroyed before them.
26 ତହିଁରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ପୂଲ୍ର ମନକୁ ଓ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ତିଗ୍ଲତ୍-ପିଲ୍ନେଷରର ମନକୁ ଉତ୍ତେଜିତ କଲେ, ତହିଁରେ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ରୁବେନୀୟ, ଗାଦୀୟ, ମନଃଶିର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧ ବଂଶୀୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ହଲହ, ହାବୋର, ହାରା ଓ ଗୋଶନ ନଦୀତୀରକୁ ଆଣିଲା, ଆଜି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସେମାନେ ସେଠାରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି।
So the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgath Pilneser king of Assyria, and he carried away the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, and brought them to Halah, Habor, Hara, and to the river of Gozan, to this day.
