ପ୍ରଥମ ବଂଶାବଳୀ 23
1 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଦାଉଦ ବୃଦ୍ଧ ଓ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣାୟୁ ହେଲେ ଓ ସେ ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ର ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ରାଜା କଲେ।
So when David was old and full of days, he made Solomon his son king over Israel.
2 ଆଉ ସେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସମସ୍ତ ଅଧିପତିଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ର କଲେ।
And he assembled all the princes of Israel, with the priests and the Levites.
3 ତହୁଁ ତିରିଶ ବର୍ଷ ଓ ତହିଁରୁ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱ ବୟସ୍କ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ଗଣିତ ହେଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ପୁରୁଷର ମସ୍ତକ ଗଣତିରେ ସେମାନେ ଅଠତିରିଶି ହଜାର ହେଲେ।
Now the Levites were numbered from the age of thirty years and upward: and their number by their polls, man by man, was thirty and eight thousand.
4 ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଚବିଶ ହଜାର ଲୋକ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଚଳାଇବା ପାଇଁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ ଥିଲେ; ଆଉ ଛଅ ହଜାର ଲୋକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟଶାସକ ଓ ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତା ଥିଲେ;
Of which, twenty and four thousand [were] to oversee the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand [were] officers and judges:
5 ଆଉ ଚାରି ହଜାର ଲୋକ ଦ୍ୱାରପାଳ ଥିଲେ; ଆଉ ପ୍ରଶଂସାର୍ଥେ ମୁଁ ଯେଉଁ ବାଦ୍ୟଯନ୍ତ୍ରସବୁ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲି ବୋଲି ଦାଉଦ କହିଲେ, ତଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଚାରି ହଜାର ଲୋକ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କଲେ।
Moreover, four thousand [were] porters; and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, [said David], to praise [with them].
6 ପୁଣି, ଦାଉଦ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଲେବୀର ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ (ବଂଶ) ଅନୁସାରେ ନାନା ପାଳିରେ ବିଭକ୍ତ କଲେ; ଗେର୍ଶୋନ, କହାତ ଓ ମରାରି।
And David divided them into courses among the sons of Levi, [namely], Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
7 ଗେର୍ଶୋନୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଲାଦନ୍ ଓ ଶିମୀୟି।
Of the Gershonites, [were], Laadan and Shimei.
8 ଲାଦନ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର; ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯିହୀୟେଲ, ତାହା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେଥମ୍ ଓ ଯୋୟେଲ, ତିନି ଜଣ।
The sons of Laadan: the chief [was] Jehiel, and Zetham, and Joel, three.
9 ଶିମୀୟିର ପୁତ୍ର; ଶଲୋମୀତ୍ ଓ ହସୀୟେଲ୍ ଓ ହାରଣ; ତିନି ଜଣ। ଏମାନେ ଲାଦନ୍ଙ୍କ ପିତୃବଂଶର ପ୍ରଧାନ ଥିଲେ।
The sons of Shimei; Shelomith, and Haziel, and Haran, three. These [were] the chief of the fathers of Laadan.
10 ପୁଣି, ଶିମୀୟିର ପୁତ୍ର; ଯହତ୍, ସୀଷ, ଯିୟୂଶ୍ ଓ ବରୀୟ। ଏହି ଚାରି ଜଣ ଶିମୀୟିର ପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲେ।
And the sons of Shimei [were], Jahath, Zina, and Jeush and Beriah. These four [were] the sons of Shimei.
11 ଯହତ୍ ପ୍ରଧାନ, ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ସୀଷ; ମାତ୍ର ଯିୟୂଶ୍ ଓ ବରୀୟର ଅନେକ ପୁତ୍ର ନ ଥିଲେ; ଏହେତୁ ସେମାନେ ଏକତ୍ର ଗଣିତ ହୋଇ ଏକ ପିତୃବଂଶ ହେଲେ।
And Jahath was the chief, and Zizah the second: but Jeush and Beriah had not many sons; therefore they were in one reckoning, according to [their] father's house.
12 କହାତର ପୁତ୍ର; ଅମ୍ରାମ୍, ଯିଷ୍ହର, ହିବ୍ରୋଣ ଓ ଉଷୀୟେଲ; ଚାରି ଜଣ।
The sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, four.
13 ଅମ୍ରାମ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର; ହାରୋଣ ଓ ମୋଶା; ପୁଣି, ହାରୋଣ ଯେପରି ମହାପବିତ୍ର ବସ୍ତୁ ପବିତ୍ର କରିବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଯୁଗାନୁକ୍ରମେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଧୂପଦାହ, ତାହାଙ୍କର ପରିଚର୍ଯ୍ୟା ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦକରଣାର୍ଥେ ସେ ଓ ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ଯୁଗାନୁକ୍ରମେ ପୃଥକ କରାଗଲେ।
The sons of Amram; Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister to him, and to bless in his name for ever.
14 ମାତ୍ର, ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଲୋକ ମୋଶାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ଲେବୀ-ବଂଶ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଉଲ୍ଲିଖିତ ହେଲେ।
Now [concerning] Moses the man of God, his sons were named of the tribe of Levi.
15 ମୋଶାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର; ଗେର୍ଶୋମ ଓ ଇଲୀୟେଜର।
The sons of Moses [were], Gershom, and Eliezer.
16 ଗେର୍ଶୋମର ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଶବୂୟେଲ ପ୍ରଧାନ।
Of the sons of Gershom; Shebuel [was] the chief.
17 ଆଉ, ଇଲୀୟେଷରର ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ରହବୀୟ ପ୍ରଧାନ। ଏହି ଇଲୀୟେଜରର ଆଉ ପୁତ୍ର ନ ଥିଲେ, ମାତ୍ର, ରହବୀୟର ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ ସନ୍ତାନ ଥିଲେ।
And the sons of Eliezer [were], Rehabiah the chief. And Eliezer had no other sons; but the sons of Rehabiah were very many.
18 ଯିଷ୍ହରର ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଶଲୋମୀତ୍ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଥିଲା।
Of the sons of Izhar; Shelomith the chief.
19 ହିବ୍ରୋଣର ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରଥମ ଯିରୀୟ, ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ଅମରୀୟ, ତୃତୀୟ ଯହସୀୟେଲ, ଚତୁର୍ଥ ଯିକ୍ମୀୟାମ୍।
Of the sons of Hebron; Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jehaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.
20 ଉଷୀୟେଲର ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରଥମ ମୀଖା, ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ଯିଶୀୟ।
Of the sons of Uzziel; Micah the first, and Jesiah the second.
21 ମରାରିର ପୁତ୍ର ମହଲି ଓ ମୂଶି; ମହଲିର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲୀୟାସର ଓ କୀଶ୍;
The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. The sons of Mahli; Eleazar, and Kish.
22 ଇଲୀୟାସର ମଲା, ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ର ନ ଥିଲେ, କେବଳ କେତୋଟି କନ୍ୟା ଥିଲେ; ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଜ୍ଞାତି କୀଶ୍ର ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିବାହ କଲେ।
And Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters: and their brethren the sons of Kish took them.
23 ମୂଶିର ପୁତ୍ର ମହଲି, ଏଦର ଓ ଯେରେମୋତ୍, ତିନି ଜଣ।
The sons of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jeremoth, three.
24 ଏମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପିତୃବଂଶାନୁସାରେ ଲେବୀର ସନ୍ତାନ, ପୁଣି, କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷ ଓ ତହିଁରୁ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱ ବୟସ୍କ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ନାମ ଓ ମସ୍ତକାନୁସାରେ ଗଣିତ ହୋଇ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହର ସେବାକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପିତୃବଂଶର ପ୍ରଧାନ ଥିଲେ।
These [were] the sons of Levi after the house of their fathers; [even] the chief of the fathers, as they were counted by number of names by their polls, that did the work for the service of the house of the LORD, from the age of twenty years and upward.
25 କାରଣ ଦାଉଦ କହିଲେ, “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ସେ ଯୁଗାନୁକ୍ରମେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ବସତି କରନ୍ତି,
For David said, The LORD God of Israel hath given rest to his people, that they may dwell in Jerusalem for ever;
26 ଆହୁରି ମଧ୍ୟ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆବାସ ଓ ତହିଁର ସେବାର୍ଥକ ପାତ୍ରସବୁ ବୋହିବାର ଆଉ ପ୍ରୟୋଜନ ହେବ ନାହିଁ।”
And also to the Levites: they shall no [more] carry the tabernacle, nor any vessels of it for its service.
27 କାରଣ, ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଶେଷ ବାକ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ଲେବୀ-ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷ ଓ ତହିଁରୁ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱ ବୟସ୍କ ଲୋକ ଗଣିତ ହେଲେ।
For by the last words of David the Levites [were] numbered from twenty years old and above:
28 କାରଣ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହର ସେବାର୍ଥେ ପ୍ରାଙ୍ଗଣରେ ଓ କୋଠରିରେ ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଗୃହର ସେବାକାର୍ଯ୍ୟାର୍ଥକ ସମସ୍ତ ପବିତ୍ର ବସ୍ତୁ ଶୁଚି କରିବାରେ ହାରୋଣ-ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ସେବା କରିବାର ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଥିଲା;
Because their office [was] to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God;
29 ଆହୁରି ଦର୍ଶନୀୟ ରୁଟିର ଓ ତାଡ଼ିଶୂନ୍ୟ ସରୁ ଚକୁଳି ଅବା ପଲମରେ ଭଜା କି ରନ୍ଧା ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ ସରୁ ମଇଦାର ଓ ସର୍ବପ୍ରକାର ପରିମାଣ ଓ ତୌଲର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ;
Both for the show-bread, and for the fine flour for meat-offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for [that which is baked in] the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size;
30 ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରଭାତରେ ଓ ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଓ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଠିଆ ହେବାର;
And to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at evening;
31 ଆଉ ନିତ୍ୟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ବିଶ୍ରାମବାରରେ ଓ ଅମାବାସ୍ୟାରେ ଓ ନିରୂପିତ ପର୍ବସବୁରେ ସେସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ବିଧିମତେ ସଂଖ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ସମସ୍ତ ହୋମବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବା, ସେମାନଙ୍କର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଥିଲା;
And to offer all burnt-sacrifices to the LORD on the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded to them, continually before the LORD:
32 ଏହେତୁ ସେମାନେ ସମାଗମ-ତମ୍ବୁର ରକ୍ଷଣୀୟ ଓ ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନର ରକ୍ଷଣୀୟ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହର ସେବାକର୍ମ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଭ୍ରାତା ହାରୋଣ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ରକ୍ଷଣୀୟ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ।
And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy [place], and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD.
