ପ୍ରଥମ ବଂଶାବଳୀ 17
1 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଦାଉଦ ଆପଣା ଗୃହରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିବା ବେଳେ ସେ ନାଥନ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ଏରସ କାଷ୍ଠନିର୍ମିତ ଗୃହରେ ବାସ କରୁଅଛି, ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିୟମ-ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ଯବନିକା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବାସ କରୁଅଛି।”
Forsothe whanne Dauid dwellide in his hows, he seide to Nathan, the prophete, Lo! Y dwelle in an hows of cedris; sotheli the arke of boond of pees of the Lord is vndur skynnys.
2 ତହିଁରେ ନାଥନ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭ ହୃଦୟରେ ଯାହା ଅଛି, ତାହାସବୁ କର; କାରଣ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି।”
And Nathan seide to Dauid, Do thou alle thingis that ben in thin herte, for God is with thee.
3 ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେହି ରାତ୍ରିରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ନାଥନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା, ଯଥା,
Therfor in that nyyt the word of the Lord was maad to Nathan,
4 ଯାଅ, “ଆମ୍ଭ ଦାସ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଅ, ‘ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିମନ୍ତେ ବସତି-ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବ ନାହିଁ;
and seide, Go thou, and speke to Dauid, my seruaunt, The Lord seith these thingis, Thou schalt not bilde to me an hows to dwelle in;
5 କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିବା ଦିନଠାରୁ ଆଜି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ କୌଣସି ଗୃହରେ ବାସ କରି ନାହୁଁ; ମାତ୍ର ଏ ତମ୍ବୁରୁ ସେ ତମ୍ବୁକୁ ଓ ଏକ ଆବାସରୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ଆବାସକୁ ଯାଇଅଛୁ।
for Y `dwellide not in an hows, fro that tyme in which Y ledde Israel out of the lond of Egipt til to this dai, but euere Y chaungide places of tabernacle, and dwellide in a tente with al Israel.
6 ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମୁଦାୟ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସହିତ ଯେଉଁସବୁ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଗମନାଗମନ କଲୁ, ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କୌଣସି ସ୍ଥାନରେ, ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପାଳନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲୁ, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଏପରି କୌଣସି ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତାକୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କାହିଁକି ଆମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ଏରସ କାଷ୍ଠର ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରି ନାହଁ, ଏପରି ଏକ କଥା କʼଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ କହିଅଛୁ?
Where I spak nameli to oon of the iugis of Israel, to which I comaundide that thei schulde fede my puple, and seide, Whi `bildidist thou not to me an hous of cedre?
7 ଏଣୁ ଏବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଦାସ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ଏପରି କୁହ, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେପରି ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ଅଗ୍ରଣୀ ହେବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମେଷଶାଳାରୁ, ମେଷମାନଙ୍କ ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ଗମନରୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲୁ।
Now therfor thou schalt speke thus to my seruaunt Dauid, The Lord of oostis seith these thingis, Y took thee, whanne thou suedist the floc in the lesewis, that thou schuldist be duyk on my puple Israel;
8 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଗଲ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସଙ୍ଗୀ ହେଲୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ ଶତ୍ରୁଙ୍କୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କଲୁ; ଆହୁରି ଆମ୍ଭେ ପୃଥିବୀସ୍ଥ ମହାଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନାମ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନାମ କରିବା।
and Y was with thee whidur euere thou yedist, and Y killide alle thin enemyes bifor thee, and Y made to thee an name as of oon of the grete men that ben maad worschipful, ether `famouse, in erthe.
9 ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଗୋଟିଏ ସ୍ଥାନ ନିରୂପଣ କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ରୋପଣ କରିବା; ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ବାସ କରି ଆଉ ଚାଳିତ ନୋହିବେ; କିଅବା ଯେପରି ପୂର୍ବକାଳରେ ଓ ଯେ ସମୟାବଧି
And Y yaf a place to my puple Israel; it schal be plauntid, and schal dwelle there ynne, and it schal no more be moued, and the sones of wickydnesse schulen not defoule hem,
10 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତୃଗଣକୁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିଅଛୁ, ସେସମୟାବଧି ଯେପରି ହୋଇଅଛି, ସେପରି ଅଧର୍ମର ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଉ ନାଶ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ; ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମୁଦାୟ ଶତ୍ରୁଙ୍କୁ ଅବନତ କରିବା। ଆହୁରି ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହୁଅଛୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ବଂଶ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବେ।
as fro the bigynnyng, fro the daies in whiche Y yaf iugis to my puple Israel; and Y made lowe alle thin enemyes. Therfor Y telle to thee, that the Lord schal bilde an hows to thee.
11 ପୁଣି, ଆପଣା ପିତୃଲୋକଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଯିବାର ଦିନ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବଂଶ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ରାଜ୍ୟ ସ୍ଥିର କରିବା।
And whanne thou hast fillid thi daies, that thou go to thi fadris, Y schal reise thi seed after thee, that schal be of thi sones, and Y schal stablische his rewme;
12 ସେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ସିଂହାସନ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ କରିବା।
he schal bilde to me an hows, and Y schal make stidefast his seete til in to with outen ende.
13 ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ପିତା ହେବା ଓ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭର ପୁତ୍ର ହେବ; ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଶାସକଙ୍କଠାରୁ(ଶାଉଲ) ଯେପରି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦୟା ଦୂର କଲୁ, ସେପରି ତାହାଠାରୁ ଦୂର କରିବା ନାହିଁ;
Y schal be to hym in to a fadir, and he schal be to me in to a sone; and Y schal not do my mersi fro hym, as Y took awei fro hym that was bifore thee;
14 ମାତ୍ର, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଗୃହରେ ଓ ଆପଣା ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ତାହାକୁ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ସ୍ଥିର କରିବା ଓ ତାହାର ସିଂହାସନ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ ହେବ।’”
and Y schal ordeyne hym in myn hows and in my rewme til in to with outen ende; and his trone schal be moost stidefast with outen ende.
15 ନାଥନ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ଏସମସ୍ତ ବାକ୍ୟ ଓ ଦର୍ଶନ ଅନୁସାରେ କଥା କହିଲେ।
Bi alle these wordis, and bi al this reuelacioun, so Nathan spak to Dauid.
16 ଏଥିରେ ଦାଉଦ ରାଜା ଭିତରକୁ ଯାଇ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ବସିଲେ ଓ କହିଲେ, “ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର! ମୁଁ କିଏ ଓ ମୋହର ବଂଶ ଅବା କି ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଏପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆଣିଅଛ?
And whanne kyng Dauid hadde come, and hadde sete bifore the Lord, he seide, Lord God, who am Y, and what is myn hows, that thou schuldist yyue siche thingis to me?
17 ତଥାପି ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର! ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ବିଷୟ ହେଲା; ଏହେତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦାସର ବଂଶ ବିଷୟରେ ଆଗତ ଦୀର୍ଘକାଳର କଥା କହିଅଛ, ଆଉ ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର! ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଉଚ୍ଚପଦସ୍ଥ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ଶ୍ରେଣୀଭୁକ୍ତ ବୋଲି ଜ୍ଞାନ କରିଅଛ।
But also this is seyn litil in thi siyt, and therfor thou spakest on the hows of thi seruaunt, yhe, in to tyme to comynge; and hast maad me worthi to be biholdun ouer alle men.
18 ଏଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦାସ ପ୍ରତି କୃତ ସମ୍ମାନ ବିଷୟରେ ଦାଉଦ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଆଉ କଅଣ କହିପାରେ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦାସକୁ ଜାଣୁଅଛ।
My Lord God, what may Dauid adde more, sithen thou hast so glorified thi seruaunt, and hast knowe hym?
19 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ! ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ସକଳ ମହତ୍ ବିଷୟ ଜଣାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଆପଣା ଦାସ ସକାଶେ ଓ ଆପଣା ହୃଦୟାନୁସାରେ ଏହି ସକଳ ମହତ୍ କର୍ମ ସାଧନ କରିଅଛ।
Lord, for thi seruaunt thou hast do bi thin herte al this grete doyng, and woldist that alle grete thingis be knowun.
20 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ! ତୁମ୍ଭ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଆଉ କେହି ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନିଜ କର୍ଣ୍ଣରେ ଯାହା ଶୁଣିଅଛୁ, ତଦନୁସାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଛଡ଼ା ଆଉ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କେହି ନାହିଁ।
Lord, noon is lijk thee, and noon other God is with oute thee, of alle whiche we herden with oure eeris.
21 ତୁମ୍ଭ ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଆଉ କେଉଁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ଅଛି? ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଏକ ଲୋକ ରୂପେ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ଓ ମିସରରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସେହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ନାନା ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ତଡ଼ିଦେଇ ମହତ୍ ଓ ଭୟାନକ କର୍ମ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭର ନାମ କରିବାକୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆଗମନ କରିଥିଲେ।
For who is anothir as thi puple Israel, o folc in erthe, to whom God yede, to delyuere and make a puple to hym silf, and to caste out bi his greetnesse and dredis naciouns fro the face therof, which he delyuerede fro Egipt?
22 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ଆପଣାର ଲୋକ କରିଅଛ, ଆଉ ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ! ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ହୋଇଅଛ।
And thou hast set thi puple Israel in to a puple to thee til in to with outen ende, and thou, Lord, art maad the God therof.
23 ଏବେ ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ! ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦାସ ବିଷୟରେ ଓ ତାହାର ବଂଶ ବିଷୟରେ ଯେଉଁ କଥା କହିଅଛ; ତାହା ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ସ୍ଥିରୀକୃତ ହେଉ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେପରି କହିଅଛ, ସେପରି କର।
Now therfor, Lord, the word which thou hast spoke to thi seruaunt, and on his hows, be confermed with outen ende, and do, as thou spake;
24 ପୁଣି, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ସେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସପକ୍ଷ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଟନ୍ତି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦାସ ଦାଉଦର ବଂଶ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ସ୍ଥାପିତ ହୋଇଅଛି, ଏହି କଥା ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭର ନାମ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ସ୍ଥିରୀକୃତ ଓ ମହତ୍ ହେଉ।
and thi name dwelle, and be magnefied `with outen ende; and be it seid, The Lord of oostis is God of Israel, and the hous of Dauid, his seruaunt, dwellynge bifor hym.
25 କାରଣ, ହେ ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର! ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ବଂଶ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବ ବୋଲି ଆପଣା ଦାସର କର୍ଣ୍ଣଗୋଚର କରିଅଛ; ଏହେତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଏହି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦାସ ସାହସ ପାଇଅଛି।
For thou, my Lord God, hast maad reuelacioun to the eere of thi seruaunt, that thou woldist bilde to hym an hous; and therfor thi seruaunt foond trist, that he preie bifor thee.
26 ଏବେ ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ! ତୁମ୍ଭେ ହିଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦାସ ପ୍ରତି ଏହି ମଙ୍ଗଳ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଅଛ।
Now therfor, Lord, thou art God, and hast spoke to thi seruaunt so grete benefices;
27 ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦାସର ବଂଶ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ କରି ତାହାକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିଅଛ; କାରଣ, ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିଅଛ, ଏଣୁ ତାହା ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦଯୁକ୍ତ ଅଟେ।”
and thou hast bigunne to blesse the hous of thi seruaunt, that it be euer bifore thee; for, Lord, for thou blessist, it schal be blessid with outen ende.
