4 Mosebok 29
1 Den fyrste dagen i den sjuande månaden skal de halda eit heilagt møte, og må ikkje gjera noko utearbeid; den dagen skal lurarne ljoma,
“[Each year], gather together to worship me on the first day of the seventh month, and do not do any work on that day. On that day [the priests] must blow their trumpets.
2 og de skal bera fram for Herren eit brennoffer som angar godt: ein ung ukse, ein ver, sju årsgamle lamb utan lyte,
When the offerings [on the altar on that day] are being completely burned, the smell will be very pleasing to me. The animals that you must bring are one young bull, one male sheep, and seven male lambs that are one-year-old. They must have no defects.
3 og grjonofferet som høyrer til: fint mjøl, blanda med olje, tri kannor attåt uksen, og tvo kannor attåt veren,
With these animals bring an offering of grain consisting of finely-ground flour mixed with [olive] oil. With the bull, bring six quarts/liters. With the male sheep, bring four quarts/liters,
4 og ei kanna for kvart av dei sju lambi,
and with each of the seven lambs bring two quarts/liters.
5 og so ein syndofferbukk til soning for dykk,
Also offer one male goat in order that you will be forgiven for your sins.
6 umfram månads-brennofferet og grjonofferet som høyrer til det, og umfram det faste brennofferet med sitt grjonoffer og dei vanlege drykkofferi; då er det ein god offerrett, som angar søtt for Herren.
All of those animals are in addition to the animals that are completely burned [on the altar] each morning and on the first day of each month. The offerings of grain and wine must be made exactly as I have told you to do. When these offerings are burned, the smell will be very pleasing to me.”
7 Tiande dagen i den same sjuande månaden skal de halda eit heilagt møte. Då skal de fasta og ikkje gjera noko arbeid;
“[Each year], on the tenth day of the seventh month, you must gather together to worship me. Do not eat any food or do any work on that day.
8 og de skal bera fram for Herren eit brennoffer som angar godt: ein ung ukse, ein ver, sju årsgamle lamb - lytelause skal dei vera -
When you burn offerings [on the altar] on that day, the smell will be very pleasing to me. The animals that you must bring are one young bull, one male sheep, and seven male lambs that are one-year-old. They must have no defects.
9 og grjonofferet som høyrer til: fint mjøl, blanda med olje, tri kannor attåt uksen, og tvo kannor attåt veren,
With the bull, bring an offering of grain consisting of six quarts/liters of nice flour mixed with [olive] oil. With the male sheep, bring four quarts/liters.
10 og ei kanna for kvart av dei sju lambi,
With each of the lambs, bring two quarts/liters.
11 og so ein geitebukk til syndoffer, umfram sonings-syndofferet og det daglege brennofferet med grjonofferet og drykkofferi som høyrer til.
Also bring one male goat to [enable me to forgive] you for the sins you have committed, and the animals and grain and wine that you burn [on the altar] each day to enable me to forgive you for the sins you have committed. Those offerings will be in addition to the animals and grain and wine that are completely burned [on the altar] each day.”
12 Femtande dagen i den sjuande månaden skal de samlast til eit heilagt møte, og må ikkje gjera noko utearbeid; og de skal halda pilegrimshelg for Herren i sju dagar.
“On the fifteenth day of the seventh month [of each year], you must all gather together to worship me. You must not do any work on that day. You must continue to celebrate for seven days.
13 Då skal de bera fram for Herren ein brennofferrett, som angar godt for Herren: trettan unge uksar, tvo verar, fjortan årsgamle lamb - lytelause skal dei vera -
When the offerings are burned [on the altar], the smell will be very pleasing to me. The animals that you must bring are 13 young bulls, two male sheep, and 14 male lambs that are one-year-old. These animals must have no defects.
14 og grjonofferet som høyrer til: fint mjøl, blanda med olje, tri kannor for kvar av dei trettan uksarne, og tvo kannor for kvar av dei tvo verarne,
With each of the 13 bulls, bring a grain offering of six quarts/liters of finely-ground flour mixed with [olive] oil. With each of the male sheep, bring four quarts/liters.
15 og ei kanna for kvart av dei fjortan lambi,
With each of the 14 lambs, bring two quarts/liters.
16 og so ein geitebukk til syndoffer, umfram det daglege brennofferet med sitt grjonoffer og drykkoffer.
Also bring one male goat to be sacrificed [to enable me to forgive you] for your sins, in addition to the offerings of animals and grain and wine that are completely burned [on the altar] each day.
17 Andre dagen skal de bera fram tolv unge uksar, tvo verar, fjortan årsgamle lamb utan lyte,
“For the next six days of the festival, you must also bring animals to sacrifice. On the second day, bring twelve bulls. On the third/next day, bring eleven bulls. One the fourth/next day, bring ten bulls. On the fifth/next day, bring nine bulls. On the sixth/next day, bring eight bulls. On the seventh/last day, bring seven bulls. But on each of those days, all the other sacrifices and offerings that you bring will remain the same.

21 og grjonoffer og drykkoffer som vanleg, svarande til uksarne og verarne og lambi etter talet,
22 og ein syndofferbukk, umfram det daglege brennofferet med sitt grjonoffer og drykkoffer;
23 fjorde dagen ti uksar, tvo verar, fjortan årsgamle lamb utan lyte,
24 med grjonoffer og drykkoffer som vanleg, svarande til uksarne og verarne og lambi etter talet,
25 og ein syndofferbukk, umfram det daglege brennofferet med sitt grjonoffer og drykkoffer;
26 femte dagen ni uksar, tvo verar, fjortan årsgamle lamb utan lyte,
27 med grjonoffer og drykkoffer som vanleg, svarande til uksarne og verarne og lambi etter talet,
28 og ein syndofferbukk, umfram det daglege brennofferet med sitt grjonoffer og drykkoffer;
29 sette dagen åtte uksar, tvo verar, fjortan årsgamle lamb utan lyte,
30 med grjonoffer og drykkoffer som vanleg, svarande til uksarne og verarne og lambi etter talet,
31 og ein syndofferbukk, umfram det daglege brennofferet med sitt grjonoffer og drykkoffer;
32 sjuande dagen sju uksar, tvo verar, fjortan årsgamle lamb utan lyte,
33 med grjonoffer og drykkoffer som vanleg, svarande til uksarne og verarne og lambi etter talet,
34 og ein syndofferbukk, umfram det daglege brennofferet med sitt grjonoffer og drykkoffer.
35 Åttande dagen skal de halda ei stor samlingshøgtid, og må ikkje gjera noko utearbeid;
“On the eighth day of the festival, you must [again] gather together to worship me, and do not do any work on that day.
36 og de skal bera fram ein brennofferrett som angar godt: ein ukse, ein ver, sju årsgamle lamb utan lyte,
On that day, you must bring to the altar one bull, one full-grown ram, and seven lambs that are one-year-old. These animals must have no defects. They must all be burned on the altar, and their smell will please me.
37 med grjonoffer og drykkoffer som vanleg, svarande til uksen og veren og lambi etter talet,
Bring also with the bull and the male sheep and each of the lambs the offerings of grain and wine that (are required/I told you to bring).
38 og ein syndofferbukk, umfram det daglege brennofferet med sitt grjonoffer og drykkoffer.
Also offer one male goat to be sacrificed [to enable me to forgive you] for your sins. These animals will be in addition to the offerings of animals and grain and wine that are completely burned [on the altar] each day.
39 Dette er det de skal ofra Herren på høgtiderne dykkar, umfram det de hev lova eller gjev i godvilje, anten det er brennoffer eller grjonoffer eller drykkoffer eller takkoffer.»»
“At your festivals, these are the offerings that you must bring to me: The offerings that will be completely burned [on the altar], the offerings of grain and wine, and the offerings to maintain fellowship with me. Those are in addition to the offerings that you give to me because you promised to do something, and other special offerings that you want to give to me.”
40 Og Moses sagde alt dette med Israels-folket, heiltupp soleis som Herren hadde sagt honom fyre.
Then Moses/I told to the Israeli people all the things that Yahweh had commanded him/me.
