3 Mosebok 3

1 Vil nokon bera fram eit takkoffer, og han tek det av storfeet, so kann det offerdyret han leider fram for Herrens åsyn vera anten ukse eller ku, men lytelaust skal det vera.

But, if a peace-offering, be his oblation, if, of the herd, he himself, be bringing near, —whether male or female, without defect, shall he bring it near before Yahweh.

2 Han skal leggja handi på hovudet åt offerdyret, og slagta det i døri til møtetjeldet, og Arons-sønerne, prestarne, skal skvetta blodet rundt ikring på altaret.

Then shall he lean his hand upon the head of his oblation, and slay it at the entrance of the tent of meeting, —and the sons of Aaron the priests shall dash the blood against the altar round about,

3 So skal han av takkofferet bera fram ei gåva åt Herren, og det skal vera netja og alt feittet som er på innvolen

Then shall he bring near out of the peace-offering, an altar-flame unto Yahweh, —the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards;

4 og båe nyro med talgi som er på dei og rekk burtåt låri, og den store livreflaga - den skal han skjera utor i hop med nyro -

and the two kidneys, and the fat which is upon them, which is upon the loins, —and the caul upon the liver, upon the kidneys, shall he remove it.

5 og Arons-sønerne skal brenna det på altaret saman med brennofferet, som ligg på veden dei hev lagt på elden; då er det ein rjukande offerrett åt Herren, ein som gjev god ange.

Then shall the sons of Aaron make thereof a perfume at the altar, upon the ascending-sacrifice which is on the wood, which is on the fire, —an altar-flame of a satisfying odour unto Yahweh.

6 Er det av småfeet han tek det dyret som han vil bera fram for Herren til takkoffer, so kann det vera anten han eller ho, men det skal vera fritt for lyte.

But, if out of the flock, be his oblation for a peace-offering unto Yahweh, whether male or female—without defect, shall he bring it near.

7 Vil han ofra ein sau, so skal han leida honom fram for Herrens åsyn.

If a young sheep, he himself, be bringing near as his oblation, then shall he bring it near, before Yahweh.

8 Han skal leggja handi på hovudet åt offerdyret, og slagta det framanfor møtetjeldet, og Arons-sønerne skal skvetta blodet rundt ikring på altaret.

And he shall lean his hand upon the head of his oblation, and shall slay it before the tent of meeting, —and the sons of Aaron shall dash the blood thereof against the altar round about.

9 So skal han av takkofferet bera fram ei gåva for Herren, og det skal vera alt feittet som er på sauen: spælen heil og halden - den skal han skjera av tett innmed roti - og netja og alt feittet som er på innvolen,

Then shall he bring near out of the peace-offering, an altar-flame unto Yahweh, the fat thereof the fat-tail thereof entire close to the backbone, shall he remove it, —and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards;

10 og båe nyro med talgi som er på deim og rekk burtåt låri, og den store livreflaga - den skal han skjera utor i hop med nyro -

and the two kidneys, with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, —and the caul that is on the liver, on the kidneys, shall he remove it.

11 og presten skal brenna det på altaret; so røyken stig upp mot himmelen; det er eit godt offermål for Herren.

Then shall the priest make a perfume, at the altar, —the food of an altar-flame, unto Yahweh.

12 Er det ei geit han vil ofra, so skal han leida henne fram for Herrens åsyn.

But if a goat, be his oblation, then shall he bring it near, before Yahweh.

13 Han skal leggja handi på hovudet hennar, og slagta henne framanfor møtetjeldet, og Arons-sønerne skal skvetta blodet rundt ikring på altaret.

And he shall lean his hand upon its head, and shall slay it before the tent of meeting, —and the sons of Aaron shall dash its blood against the altar, round about.

14 So skal han av offeret sitt bera fram ein god rett for Herren, og det skal vera netja og alt feittet som er på innvolen

Then shall he bring near therefrom as his oblation an altar-flame unto Yahweh, —the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards;

15 og båe nyro med talgi som er på deim og rekk burtåt låri, og den store livreflaga - den skal han skjera utor i hop med nyro -

and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them which is on the loins, —the caul upon the liver, on the kidneys, shall he remove it.

16 og presten skal brenna det på altaret, so røyken stig upp mot himmelen; då er det ein offerrett som angar godt. Alt feitt høyrer Herren til.

Then shall the priest make a perfume at the altar, —the food of an altar-flame for a satisfying odour, —all the fat—unto Yahweh.

17 Ei æveleg lov skal det vera for dykk og etterkomarane dykkar i kvar ein heim, at de aldri må eta feitt og blod.»»

An age-abiding statute to your generations, in all your dwellings, —none of the fat nor of the blood, shall ye eat.
