1 Den andre luten fall på Simeon, på Simeons-sønerne og ættgreinerne deira. Det landet dei fekk, låg midt i Judafylket.
And the second lot came out, for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by their families, —and their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Judah.
2 Til Simeonsfylket høyrde Be’erseba og Seba og Molada
And they had for their inheritance, —Beer-sheba or Sheba, and Moladah,
3 og Hasar-Sual og Bala og Esem
and Hazar-shual, and Balah, and Ezem,
4 og Eltolad og Betul og Horma
and Eltolad and Bethul, and Hormah,
5 og Siklag og Bet-Hammarkabot og Hasar-Susa
and Ziklag and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,
6 og Bet-Leabot og Saruhen - trettan byar med grenderne som høyrde til;
and Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen, —thirteen cities, with their villages:
7 Ajin, Rimmon og Eter og Asan, fire byar, med grenderne som høyrde til,
Ain, Rimmon, and Ether and Ashan, —four cities, with their villages,
8 og alle bygderne som låg ikring desse byarne, alt til Ba’alat-Be’er, eller Rama, i Sudlandet. Dette var odelsjordi åt Simeons-ætti og greinerne hennar.
and all the villages that were round about these cities, as far as Baalath-beer, Ramah of the South. This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by their families:
9 Dei fekk odelseiga si i det landet som var mælt ut til Juda-sønerne. Den luten som fall på Juda-sønerne, vart for stor åt deim; difor var det at Simeons-sønerne fekk landet sitt midt i deira land.
Out of the portion of the sons of Judah, is the inheritance of the sons of Simeon, —for it came to pass that what was allotted to the sons of Judah, was too much for them, therefore did the sons of Simeon receive an inheritance in the midst of their inheritance.
10 Den tridje luten fall på Sebulons-sønerne og ættgreinerne deira. Det landet dei fekk, rakk til Sarid.
Then came up the third lot, for the sons of Zebulun, by their families, —and the boundary of their inheritance was as far as Sarid.
11 Fylkesdeilet gjekk i vest upp til Marala, gjekk frammed Dabbeset og nådde den bekken som renn austanfor Jokneam.
And their boundary goeth up westward, even towards Maralah, and toucheth Dabbesheth, —and reacheth unto the ravine that faceth Jokneam;
12 I aust, der soli kjem upp, vende det seg frå Sarid burt imot Kislot-Taborbygdi, heldt fram til Daberat og gjekk upp til Jafia.
and turneth back from Sarid, eastward, toward the rising of the sun, upon the boundary of Chisloth-tabor, —and goeth out unto Daberath, and ascendeth Japhia;
13 Derifrå tok det, på solsida, austsida, yver til Gat-Hefer og Et-Kasin, heldt fram til Rimmon og svinga burt til Nea.
and, from thence, it passed along in front on the east, towards Gath-hepher, towards Eth-kazin, —and goeth out at Rimmon which turneth about towards Neah;
14 So vende deilet seg nordetter til Hannaton og enda i Jiftaheldalen.
and the boundary goeth round it, on the north to Hannathon, —and so the extensions thereof are the valley of Iphtah-el;
15 I Sebulonsfylket låg og Kattat og Nahalal og Simron og Jidala og Betlehem; i alt var der tolv byar med grender ikring.
and Kattath and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Idalah and Beth-lehem, —twelve cities, with their villages.
16 Dette var det landet Sebulons-sønerne og ættgreinerne deira fekk til odel og eiga med byar og bygdar.
This, is the inheritance of the sons of Zebulun, by their families, —these cities, with their villages.
17 Issakar var det som fekk den fjorde luten, Issakars-sønerne og ættgreinerne deira.
For Issachar, came out the fourth lot, —for the sons of Issachar, by their families.
18 I landet deira låg Jisre’ela og Kesullot og Sunem
And their boundary was, —Jezreel and Chesulloth, and Shunem,
19 og Hafarajim og Sion og Anaharat
and Hapharaim and Shion, and Anaharath,
20 og Rabbit og Kisjon og Ebes
and Rabbith and Kishion, and Ebez,
21 og Remet og En-Gannim og En-Hadda og Bet-Passes.
and Remeth, and En-gannim, and Enhaddah, and Beth-pazzez;
22 Fylkesdeilet snart innåt Tabor og Sahasuma og Bet-Semes, og enda i Jordan. I alt var der sekstan byar med grender ikring.
and the boundary toucheth Tabor and Shahazumah, and Beth-shemesh, and so the extensions of their boundary are to the Jordan, —sixteen cities, with their villages.
23 Dette var det landet som Issakars-ætti og greinerne hennar fekk til odel og eiga, med byar og bygder.
This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, by their families, —the cities, with their villages.
24 Den femte luten fall på Assers-ætti og greinerne hennar.
Then came out the fifth lot, for the tribe of the sons of Asher, by their families.
25 I deira land låg Helkat og Hali og Beten og Aksaf
And their boundary was, —Helkath and Hali, and Beten and Achshaph,
26 og Allammelek og Amad og Misal. Fylkesdeilet nådde i vest til Karmel og Libnatåi;
and Allam-melech and Amad, and Mishal, —and it toucheth Carmel to the west, and Shihor-libnath;
27 i aust tok det leidi til Bet-Dagon og gjekk so nordetter frammed Sebulonsfylket og Jiftaheldalen til Bet-ha-Emek og Ne’iel; sidan heldt det fram på vinstre hand til Kabul
and it turneth toward sun-rise—to Beth-dagon, and toucheth Zebulun and the valley of Iphtah-el northward, and Beth-emek, and Neiel; and goeth out unto Cabul, on the left,
28 og Ebron og Rehob og Hammon og Kana, alt burt til Stor-Sidon.
and Ebron and Rehob, and Hammon and Kanah, —as far as Zidon the populous;
29 So vende deilet seg mot Rama, og heldt fram til Tyrusborgi; der ifrå tok det leidi til Hos, og gjekk ut i havet ikkje langt frå Akzib.
and the boundary turneth to Ramah, and as far as the city of the fortress of Tyre, —then the boundary turneth to Hosah, and so the extensions thereof are, on the west, from Hebel to Achzib;
30 Umma og Afek og Rehob låg og i dette fylket. I alt var der tvo og tjuge byar med grender ikring.
Ummah also and Aphek, and Rehob, —twenty-two cities, with their villages,
31 Dette var det landet som Assers-ætti og greinerne hennar fekk til odel og eiga, med byar og bygder.
This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher, by their families, —these cities, with their villages.
32 På Naftali-sønerne fall den sette luten, på Naftali-sønerne og ættgreinerne deira.
For the sons of Naphtali, came out the sixth lot, —for the sons of Naphtali, by their families.
33 Fylkesdeilet deira gjekk frå Helef, frå Besa’annim-eiki, um Adami-Hannekeb og Jabne’el, heldt fram til Lakkum, og gjekk ut i Jordan.
And their boundary was from Heleph, from the terebinth of Bezaannim, and Adami-nekeb, and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum; and so the extensions thereof were to the Jordan;
34 So vende deilet seg vestetter til Aznot-Tabor, og heldt fram til Hukkok. I sud skifte dei med Sebulon, og i vest med Asser; i aust fylgde skiftelina Jordan.
and the boundary turneth westward, to Aznoth-tabor, and goeth out from thence, toward Hukkok, —and toucheth Zebulun on the south, and, Asher, it toucheth on the west, and Judah, at the Jordan towards sunrise.
35 Av faste byar var der: Siddim, Ser og Hammat, Rakkat og Kinneret
And, the fortified cities, are, —Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath and Chinnereth,
36 og Adama og Rama og Hasor
and Adamah and Ramah, and Hazor,
37 og Kedes og Edre’i og En-Hasor
and Kedesh and Edrei, and En-hazor,
38 og Jiron og Migdal-El, Horem og Bet-Anat og Bet-Semes. I alt var der nittan byar med grender ikring.
and Iron and Migdal-el, Horem and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh, —nineteen cities, with their villages.
39 Dette var det landet Naftali-ætti og greinerne hennar fekk til odel og eiga med byar og bygder.
This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, by their families, —the cities, with their villages.
40 På Dans-ætti og greinerne hennar fall den sjuande luten.
And, for the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families, came out the seventh lot.
41 I deira fylkesland låg Sora og Estaol og Ir-Semes
And the boundary of their inheritance was, —Zorah and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,
42 og Sa’alabbin og Ajjalon og Jitla
and Shaalabbin and Aijalon, and Ithlah,
43 og Elon og Timnata og Ekron
and Elon and Timnah, and Ekron,
44 og Elteke og Gibbeton og Ba’alat
and Eltekeh and Gibbethon, and Baalath,
45 og Jehud og Bene-Berak og Gat-Rimmon
and Jehud and Beneberak, and Gath-rimmon,
46 og Me-Hajarkon og Rakkon og bygderne burtmed Joppe.
and Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, —with the boundary over against Joppa.
47 Men Danseiga rakk vidare enn so: Dans-sønerne for nordetter, og tok på Lesem-buarne; dei vann landet deira, og øydde det med odd og egg; sidan lagde dei det under seg og vart buande der; og i staden for Lesem kalla dei bygdi Dan etter ættefaren sin.
And, when the boundary of the sons of Dan went out beyond these, then went up the sons of Dan and fought against Leshem, and captured it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession thereof, and dwelt therein, and they called Leshem—Dan, after the name of Dan their father,

49 Då Israels-sønerne vel hadde skift ut heile Kana’ans-landet, so vidt som det var, let dei Josva Nunsson få ei odelseiga millom seg;
When they had made an end of distributing the land by the boundaries thereof, then gave the sons of Israel an inheritance unto Joshua son of Nun, in their midst:
50 dei gav honom, etter Herrens bod, den byen han bad um, Timnat-Serah på Efraimsfjellet; og han bygde upp byen, og busette seg der.
at the bidding of Yahweh, gave they unto him the city which he asked, even Timnath-serah, in the hill country of Ephraim, —and he built the city and dwelt therein.
51 Dette var dei odelseigorne som Eleazar, øvstepresten, og Josva Nunsson og hovdingarne yver Israels ætter og ættgreiner luta ut i Silo, for Herrens åsyn i møtetjelddøri. Dermed var dei ferdige med å skifta ut landet.
These, are the inheritances which Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun and the ancestral heads distributed for inheritance to the tribes of the sons of Israel, by lot, in Shiloh, before Yahweh, at the entrance of the tent of meeting, —so they made an end of apportioning the land.
