Esaias 32
1 Sjå, med rettferd skal kongen råda, og hovdingarne skal styra etter rett,
There! for righteousness he will reign a king and to rulers for justice they will rule.
2 og kvar ein av deim skal vera som eit skyle for veret og ei livd mot sturtregn, som vatsbekkjer på ein turr stad, som skuggen av eit veldugt berg i eit uppturka land.
And he will be each like a hiding place of a wind and a shelter of a rainstorm like streams of water in a dry land like [the] shadow of a rock heavy in a land weary.
3 Då skal augo åt deim som ser ikkje vera blinde, og øyro åt deim som høyrer, skal vera grannhøyrde,
And not they will gaze [the] eyes of [those who] see and [the] ears of [those who] hear they will pay attention.
4 hjarto åt dei tankelause skal evla skyna, og tunga åt dei stame skal hava lett for å tala klårt.
And [the] heart of hasty [people] it will understand knowledge and [the] tongue of stammerers it will hasten to speak clearly.
5 Dåren skal ein ikkje meir kalla gjæv, og den innfule skal ein ikkje kalla hugstor.
Not it will be called again to a fool noble and of a scoundrel not it will be said eminent person.
6 For dåren talar dårskap, og hjarta hans finn på vondt; han gjer vanheilag gjerd, og talar forvende ting um Herren, han let den hungrige svelta og let den tyrste vanta drikka.
For a fool folly he speaks and heart his it does wickedness by doing godlessness and by speaking concerning Yahweh error by keeping empty [the] appetite of [the] hungry and drink [the] thirsty he deprives.
7 Og våpni åt den innfule er vonde; han tenkjer ut meinråder, til å føra dei spaklyndte i ulukka med falske ord, og det når den fatige talar det som rett er.
And a scoundrel weapons his [are] evil he evil purposes he plans to ruin (afflicted [people] *Q(K)*) with words of falsehood and when speaks [the] needy justice.
8 Men gjævingen hev gjæve tankar, og han stend fast ved det som gjævt er.
And a noble [person] noble deeds he plans and he on noble deeds he stands.
9 De sorglause kvinnor, statt upp og høyr det eg segjer! De trygge døtter, vend øyra dykkar til min tale!
O women carefree arise hear voice my O daughters confident give ear to utterance my.
10 Um år og dag skal de skjelva, de trygge! For det er ute med vinhausten, frukhausten kjem ikkje.
Days with a year you will be agitated O confident [women] for it will fail [the] grape harvest [the] gathering not it will come.
11 Vert forfærde, de sorglause; skjelv, de trygge! Klæd dykk og næk dykk, og umgyrd dykkar lender!
Tremble O carefree [women] be agitated O confident [women] strip off and strip yourself and gird on loins.
12 Dei slær seg for bringa yver dei fagre marker, yver det fruktrike vintreet,
On breasts mourning on fields of delight on vine[s] fruitful.
13 yver jordi åt mitt folk, der tornar og tistlar skyt upp, ja, yver alle gledehus, den morogalne byen.
On [the] land of people my thornbush[es] thorn[s] it will grow up for on all [the] houses of joy a town jubilant.
14 For borgi er tom, mugen i byen er burte. Haug og vakttårn hev vorte til holor for ævelege tider, til frygd for villasen, til beite for bølingar -
For [the] palace it will be forsaken [the] tumult of [the] city it will be abandoned [the] hill and [the] watchtower it will become behind caves until perpetuity a joy of wild donkeys a pasture of flocks.
15 til dess åndi vert utrend yver oss frå det høge, og øydemarki vert til ein frukthage, og frukthagen vert rekna som skog.
Until it will be poured out on us spirit from a high place and it will become [the] wilderness orchard (and the orchard *Q(K)*) to forest it will be considered.
16 Og rett skal bu i øydemarki, og rettferd skal hava sin heim i frukthagen.
And it will dwell in the wilderness justice and righteousness in the orchard it will remain.
17 Og rettferds verk skal vera fred, og rettferds frukt ro og tryggleik til æveleg tid.
And it will be [the] work of righteousness peace and [the] labor of righteousness [will be] quietness and security until perpetuity.
18 Og folket mitt skal bu i freds bustad og i tryggleiks tjeld og på sorgfrie kvilestader.
And it will dwell people my in a habitation of peace and in dwelling places of security and in resting places undisturbed.
19 Men det skal hagla når skogen fell, og djupt skal byen søkka ned.
And it will hail when comes down the forest and with lowness it will become low the city.
20 Sæle er de som sår attved alle vatn, som let uksen og asnet vera på frifot!
How blessed [are]! you O [those who] sow at every water O [those who] let loose [the] foot of the ox and the donkey.
