1 Mosebok 7
1 So sagde Herren til Noah: «Gakk inn i arki, du og heile ditt hus! For deg hev eg røynt for ein rettvis millom deim som no liver.
Also the Lord seide to Noe, Entre thou and al thin hous in to the schip, for Y seiy thee iust bifore me in this generacioun.
2 Av alle reine dyr skal du taka deg ut sju par, han og ho, og av dei dyri som ikkje er reine, eitt par, han og ho;
Of alle clene lyuynge beestis thou schalt take bi seuene and bi seuene, male and female; forsothe of vnclene lyuynge beestis thou schalt take bi tweyne and bi tweyne, male and female;
3 like eins av fuglarne i lufti sju par, han og ho, so elde kann haldast i live utyver all jordi.
but also of volatils of heuene thou schalt take, bi seuene and bi seuene, male and female, that her seed be saued on the face of al erthe.
4 For um sju dagar vil eg lata det regna på jordi i fyrti jamdøger, og rydja ut av verdi kvart liv eg hev skapt.»
For yit and aftir seuene daies Y schal reyne on erthe fourti daies and fourti nyytis, and Y schal do awey al substaunce which Y made, fro the face of erthe.
5 Og Noah gjorde i alle måtar so som Herren sagde honom fyre.
Therfor Noe dide alle thingis whiche the Lord comaundide to hym.
6 Noah var seks hundrad år gamall, då storflodi kom med vatn yver jordi.
And he was of sixe hundrid yeer, whanne the watris of the greet flood flowiden on erthe.
7 Då gjekk Noah og sønerne hans og kona hans og konorne åt sønerne hans med honom inn i arki, og berga seg for flaumen.
And Noe entride in to the schip, and hise sones, and hise wijf, and the wyues of his sones, entriden with him for the watris of the greet flood.
8 Og av dei reine dyri, og av dei dyri som ikkje er reine, og av fuglarne, og av alt det som krelar på marki,
And of lyuynge beestis clene and vnclene, and of briddis of heuene, and of ech beeste which is moued on erthe,
9 kom par og par, han og ho, inn i arki til Noah, so som Gud hadde sagt Noah fyre.
bi tweyne and bi tweyne, male and female entriden to Noe in to the schip, as the Lord comaundide to Noe.
10 Og det hende, då dei sju dagarne var lidne, då kom vatnet fløymande yver jordi.
And whanne seuene daies hadden passid, the watris of the greet flood flowiden on erthe.
11 Den syttande dagen i den andre månaden i det året då Noah fyllte seks hundrad år, den dagen brast alle brunnar i stordjupet, og himmellukorne let seg upp.
In the sixe hundrid yeer of the lijf of Noe, in the secunde moneth, in the seuententhe dai of the moneth, alle the wellis of the greet see weren brokun, and the wyndowis of heuene weren opened,
12 Og regnet fossa ned på jordi i fyrti dagar og fyrti næter.
and reyn was maad on erthe fourti daies and fourti nyytis.
13 Denne same dagen gjekk Noah, og Sem og Kham og Jafet, sønerne hans Noah, og kona hans Noah, og dei tri sonekonorne hans med deim inn i arki,
In the ende of that dai Noe entride, and Sem, Cham, and Japheth, hise sones, his wijf, and the wyues of hise sones, entriden with hem into the schip.
14 dei og alle villdyr, kvart etter sitt slag, og alt bufe, kvart etter sitt slag, og alt krek som krelar på jordi, kvart etter sitt slag, og alle fuglar, kvar etter sitt slag: alt som kvitrar, alt som hev vengjor.
Thei entriden, and ech beeste bi his kynde, and alle werk beestis in her kynde, and ech beeste which is moued on erthe in his kynde, and ech volatil bi his kynde; alle briddis and alle volatils entriden to Noe in to the schip,
15 Og dei kom inn i arki til Noah, tvo og tvo av alt kjøt som det er livsande i.
bi tweyne and bi tweyne of ech fleisch in whiche the spirit of lijf was.
16 Og dei som kom inn, var han og ho av alt kjøt, so som Gud hadde sagt honom fyre. Og Herren let att etter honom.
And tho that entriden, entriden male and female of ech fleisch, as God comaundide to hym. And the Lord encloside hym fro with out-forth.
17 So kom flodi veltande yver jordi i fyrti dagar, og vatnet auka, og lyfte arki, so ho flaut upp ifrå jordi.
And the greet flood was maad fourti daies and fourti niytis on erthe, and the watris weren multiplied, and reiseden the schip on hiy fro erthe.
18 Og vatnet voks og auka uhorveleg utyver jordi, og arki dreiv burtyver vatnet.
The watris flowiden greetli, and filliden alle thingis in the face of erthe. Forsothe the schip was borun on the watris.
19 Og vatnet steig høgre og høgre yver jordi, so alle dei høge fjelli under heile himmelen vart gøymde.
And the watris hadden maistrie greetli on erthe, and alle hiye hillis vndur alle heuene weren hilid;
20 Femtan alner yver jordi steig vatnet, og fjelli vart gøymde.
the watyr was hiyere bi fiftene cubitis ouer the hilis whiche it hilide.
21 Då døydde alt kjøt som røyvde seg på jordi, både fuglar og bufe og villdyr og alt det som urde og krydde på jordi, og alt folket.
And ech fleisch was wastid that was moued on erthe, of briddis, of lyuynge beestis, of vnresonable beestis, and of alle `reptilis that crepen on erthe.
22 Alt som hadde livsandedrag i si nos, alt som var på det turre landet, laut døy.
Alle men, and alle thingis in whiche the brething of lijf was in erthe, weren deed.
23 So rudde han ut kvart liv som på jordi fanst, både folk og fe og krek og fuglarne i lufti. Dei vart utrudde av verdi, og att vart berre Noah og det som var med honom i arki.
And God dide awei al substaunce that was on erthe, fro man til to beeste, as wel a crepynge beeste as the briddis of heuene; and tho weren doon awei fro erthe. Forsothe Noe dwellide aloone, and thei that weren with hym in the schip.
24 Og vatnet flødde yver jordi i hundrad og femti dagar.
And the watris of the greet flood ouereyeden the erthe an hundrid and fifti daies.
