2 Mosebok 35
1 Og Moses kalla i hop heile Israels lyden, og sagde med deim: «Høyr no kva Herren vil de skal gjera:
Moses/I gathered all the Israeli people together and said to them, “This is what Yahweh has commanded you to do:
2 Seks dagar lyt de arbeida og vera onnuge, men den sjuande dagen skal de halda heilag; han skal vera ein kviledag, vigd åt Herren. Kvar den som då gjer noko arbeid, skal lata livet.
[Each week] you may work for six days, but on the seventh day you must rest. It is a sacred day, dedicated to Yahweh. Anyone who does any work on the seventh day must be executed.
3 Ingen av dykk må kveikja upp eld i huset sitt på kviledagen.»
Do not [even] light a fire in your homes on days of rest.”
4 Og endå sagde Moses med heile Israels-lyden: «Høyr no kva Herren segjer og vil:
Moses/I also said to all the Israeli people, “This is [also] what Yahweh has commanded:
5 «Tak ut ei reide til Herren av det som de eig! Alle som hev hjartelag til å gjeva noko, lyt koma med det, med reida til Herren: gull og sylv og kopar
Make offerings to Yahweh. Everyone who wants to should bring to Yahweh an offering. [These are the things that they may offer]: Gold, silver, bronze,
6 og purpur og skarlak og karmesin og kvitt lingarn og geiteragg
fine white linen, blue or purple or red cloth, [cloth made from] goats’ hair,
7 og raudlita verskinn og markuskinn og akazietre
rams’ skins that are (tanned/dyed red), fine leather made from goatskins, wood from acacia [trees],
8 og olje til ljosestaken og kryddor til salvingsoljen og til den angande røykjelsen
oil for the lamps, spices to put in the olive oil for anointing and in the sweet-smelling incense,
9 og sjohamsteinar og andre dyre steinar til å setja på messehakelen og bringeduken.
[valuable] onyx stones or [other] valuable stones to fasten onto the [priest’s] sacred apron and put on his sacred chest pouch.
10 Og dei av dykk som hev kunstgivnad, skal koma og gjera alt det som Herren hev sagt:
“All the skilled workers among you should come and make all the things that Yahweh has commanded:
11 huset med raggetæpi og taket og krokarne og plankarne og tverstokkarne og stolparne og stabbarne,
The Sacred Tent and its covering, its fasteners and its frames, its crossbars, its posts, its bases,
12 kista og stengerne som ho skal berast etter, og kisteloket og forhengtæpet,
the sacred chest with its poles and its lid, the curtain that will separate the Holy Place from the Very Holy Place,
13 bordet med berestengerne og alt anna som til høyrer, og skodebrødi,
the table with the poles [for carrying it] and all the things that will be used with the table, the sacred bread that will be offered to God,
14 den skinande ljosestaken med det som høyrer til, og lamporne og oljen til ljosestaken,
the lampstand for the lamps with all the things that will be used to take care of them, the oil for the lamps,
15 røykjelsealtaret med berestengerne, som høyrer attåt, og salvingsoljen og den angande røykjelsen, og dørtæpet til husdøri,
the altar for [burning] incense, and the poles [for carrying that altar], the oil for anointing and the sweet-smelling incense, the curtain for the entrance of the Sacred Tent,
16 brennofferaltaret med kopargrindi og berestengerne og alt anna som høyrer til, balja med foten under,
the altar for offering [sacrifices that will be completely] burned and its bronze grating, the poles [for carrying] that altar and all the things that will be used with it, the washbasin and its base,
17 lereftsgarden, som skal vera kring tunet, med stolparne som høyrer attåt, og stabbarne som dei skal standa på, og tæpet til tunporten,
the curtains [to surround] the courtyard and the posts and bases [for the posts from which to hang the curtains], the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard,
18 pålarne til huset og til lereftsgarden og togi som skal bindast i deim,
the pegs and ropes for the Sacred Tent and for the courtyard,
19 embætsskrudet til tenesta i heilagdomen, den heilage klædebunaden åt Aron, presten, og presteklædi til sønerne hans.»»
and the beautiful clothes that Aaron and his sons are to wear when they do their work in the Holy Place.”
20 So gjekk heile Israels-lyden burt frå Moses,
Then all the Israeli people returned [to their tents].
21 og sidan kom dei, so mange som hjarta mana og hugen dreiv, og bar fram reidor åt Herren til arbeidet på møtetjeldet og til all tenesta der og til dei heilage klædi.
Everyone who wanted to brought an offering to Yahweh. They brought some of the things that would be used to make the Sacred Tent and all the other items that would be used in the rituals, and the materials to make the sacred clothes [for the priests].
22 Dei kom både menner og kvende, alle som hjarta dreiv, og hadde med seg allslags gull: spenne og øyreringar og fingerringar og kulelekkjor; og sameleis kom alle dei som vilde vigja eit gulloffer åt Herren.
All the men and women who wanted to brought gold ornaments, earrings, rings, necklaces, and many other kinds of things made of gold, and they dedicated them to Yahweh.
23 Og alle som hadde purpur eller skarlak eller karmesin eller kvitt lingarn eller geiteragg eller raudlita verskinn eller markuskinn, dei kom med det.
And many [HYP] people who had blue, purple, or red cloth or fine white linen or cloth made from goats’ hair or rams’ skins that were (tanned/dyed red) or leather made from goatskins brought some of these things.
24 Alle som vilde gjeva ei sylvreida eller ei koparreida, kom til Herren med reida si, og alle som hadde akazietre til noko av det som skulde arbeidast, dei kom med det.
All those who had silver or bronze brought them as offerings to Yahweh. All those who had some acacia wood that could be used for any of the work brought it.
25 Kvar ei kona som skyna seg på sovore arbeid, spann med sine eigne hender, og kom med spunen: purpur og skarlak og karmesin og kvitt lingarn.
All the women who were skilled to make cloth brought fine linen thread and blue, purple, or red yarn/thread that they had made/spun.
26 Og alle kvende som hadde hug og dug til det, spann geiteragget.
And all the women who wanted to made/spun thread from goats’ hair.
27 Hovdingarne kom med sjohamsteinar og andre dyre steinar til å setja på messehakelen og bringeduken,
All the leaders brought valuable onyx stones and other valuable stones to be fastened to Aaron’s sacred apron and his sacred chest pouch.
28 og med kryddor og olje til ljosestaken og til salvingsoljen og den angande røykjelsen.
They also brought spices [to put in the sweet-smelling incense], and they brought olive oil for the lamps and for the oil for anointing and for putting in the sweet-smelling incense.
29 Kvar mann og kona av Israels-folket som hjarta dreiv til å hjelpa til med det store verket som Herren hadde sett Moses til å gjera, dei kom viljugt med ei gåva til Herren.
All the Israeli men and women who wanted to brought these things to offer them to Yahweh, for doing the work that he had commanded Moses/me to do.
30 So sagde Moses til Israels-folket: «Høyr her! Herren hev kåra og kalla Besalel, son åt Uri Hursson, av Juda-ætti,
Moses/I said to the Israeli people, “Listen carefully. Yahweh has chosen Bezalel, the son of Uri and grandson of Hur, from the tribe of Judah.
31 og fyllt honom med guddomsånd, med kunstgivnad og vit og kunnskap og godt lag til alt handverk,
Yahweh has enabled his Spirit to completely control Bezalel and has given him ability and enabled him to know how to do very skilled work.
32 so han kann emna til fagre ting og smida deim ut i gull og i sylv og i kopar,
He can engrave skillful designs in gold, silver, and bronze.
33 og ferda til glimesteinarne som skal setjast på presteskrudet, og skjera ut i tre, og greida allslags kunstarbeid.
He can cut (jewels/valuable stones) and enclose them [in tiny gold frames]. He can carve things from wood and do other skilled work.
34 Og gåva til å læra frå seg hev han lagt både i honom og Åhåliab, son åt Akhisamak, av Dans-ætti.
Yahweh has also given to him and to Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach their skills to others.
35 Han hev fyllt deim med kunstnarånd, so dei kann både smida og snikra, og gjera åklæde med innvovne bilæte og rosor av purpur og skarlak og karmesin og kvitt lingarn, og veva kva dei vil, alt arbeid kann dei greida, og kunstverk kann dei skapa.
He has given to them the ability to do all kinds of work that is done by craftsmen—those who create artistic things, those who make fine white linen, those who embroider designs using blue or purple or red yarn/thread, and those who make other cloth. They are able to do many [HYP] kinds of skillful work.
