1 Krønikebok 26
1 Um skifti som dørvaktarar var skifte i, er å segja: Av korahitarne var Meselemja, son åt Kore, av Asafs-sønerne.
Concerning the divisions of the porters: Of the Korhites [was] Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.
2 Og Mesemlja hadde søner: Zakarja var den eldste, Jediael den andre, Zebadja den tridje, Jatniel den fjorde,
And the sons of Meshelemiah [were], Zechariah the first-born, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
3 Elam den femte, Johanan den sette, Eljoenai den sjuande.
Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.
4 Og Obed-Edom hadde søner: Semaja var den eldste, Jozabad den andre, Joah den tridje, Sakar den fjorde, Netanel den femte,
Moreover the sons of Obed-edom [were], Shemaiah the first-born, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth,
5 Ammiel den sette, Issakar den sjuande, Pe’ulletai den åttande; for Gud hadde velsigna honom.
Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peulthai the eighth: for God blessed him.
6 Og Semaja, son hans, fekk og søner, som vart styrarar i ætti si; for dei var duglege menner.
Also to Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their father: for they [were] mighty men of valor.
7 Sønerne hans Semaja heitte Otni og Refael og Obed, Elzabad og brørne hans, dugande menner, Elihu og Semakja.
The sons of Shemaiah; Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren [were] strong men, Elihu, and Semachiah.
8 Alle desse var ætta frå Obed-Edom, dei sjølve og sønerne og brørne deira, dugande og sterke menner i tenesta, - tvo og seksti av Obed-Edom.
All these of the sons of Obed-edom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men for strength for the service, [were] sixty and two of Obed-edom.
9 Meselemja hadde og søner og brør, duglege menner, i alt attan.
And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, strong men, eighteen.
10 Og Hosa av Merari-sønerne hadde søner: Simri var fyrstemannen - han var vel ikkje den eldste; men far hans sette honom til hovding -
Also Hosah of the children of Merari, had sons; Simri the chief, (for [though] he was not the first-born, yet his father made him the chief; )
11 Hilkia var den andre, Tebalja den tridje, Zakarja den fjorde. Alle sønerne og brørne hans Hosa var trettan.
Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brethren of Hosah [were] thirteen.
12 Desse dørvaktar-skifti, det vil segja ættarhovdingarne, vart no sette til vakttenesta i Herrens hus, jamsides med frendarne sine.
Among these [were] the divisions of the porters, [even] among the chief men, having wards one against another, to minister in the house of the LORD.
13 Og um kvar port drog dei strå, den minste som den største, etter ættgreinene sine.
And they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate.
14 Romet ved austporten kom på Selemja; og dei drog strå for Zakarja, son hans, ein vitug rådgjevar, og etter strået vart hans rom i nord.
And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counselor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.
15 På Obed-Edom fall romet ved sudporten, soleis at sønerne hans fekk budi på sin part.
To obed-edom southward; and to his sons the house of Asuppim.
16 For Suppim og Hosa viste strået på romet i vest ved Salleket-porten, der vegen gjeng uppetter, den eine vaktposten attmed den andre.
To Shuppim and Hosah [the lot came forth] westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the way of the ascent, ward against ward.
17 Mot aust var det seks levitar, mot nord fire for kvar dag, mot sud fire for kvar dag, og ved budi tvo um gongen.
Eastward [were] six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and towards Asuppim, two [and] two.
18 Ved Parbar mot vest stod fire attmed vegen, og tvo ved sjølve Parbar.
At Parbar westward, four at the causey, [and] two at Parbar.
19 Dette var dørvaktar-skifti av korahitsønerne og av Merari.
These [are] the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore, and among the sons of Merari.
20 Og av levitarne hadde Ahia-sønerne tilsyn med skattarne i Guds hus og tok vare på dei ting som var vigde åt Herren.
And of the Levites, Ahijah [was] over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.
21 Sønerne åt Ladan, det vil segja gersonitsønerne av Ladans-ætti, hovdingarne for gersoniten Ladans ættgreinene var jehielitarne.
[As concerning] the sons of Laadan; the sons of the Gershonite Laadan, chief fathers, [even] of Laadan the Gershonite, [were] Jehieli.
22 Jehielit-sønerne Zetam og Joel, bror hans, hadde tilsyn med skattarne i Guds hus.
The sons of Jehieli; Zetham, and Joel his brother, [who were] over the treasures of the house of the LORD.
23 Um amramitarne, jisharitarne, hebronitarne og ozzielitarne er det å segja:
Of the Amramites, [and] the Izharites, the Hebronites, [and] the Uzzielites:
24 Sebuel, son åt Gersom Mosesson, var øvste tilsynsmannen yver skattarne.
And Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, [was] ruler of the treasures.
25 Og frendarne hans av Eliezers-ætti var Rehabja Eliezersson, og son hans heitte Jesaja, og hans son var Joram, og hans son Zikri, og hans son Selomot.
And his brethren by Eliezer; Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.
26 Denne Selomot og brørne hans hadde tilsyn med alt det godset som kong David og like eins ættarhovdingarne, yver- og underhovdingar og herhovdingar hadde vigt åt Herren.
Which Shelomith and his brethren [were] over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated.
27 Frå ufreden og av herfanget hadde dei vigt det til å halda Herrens hus i stand.
Out of the spoils won in battles did they dedicate to maintain the house of the LORD.
28 Og like eins alt det som sjåaren Samuel og Saul Kisson og Abner Nersson og Joab Serujason hadde vigt; kvar og ein som vigde noko, let Selomot og brørne hans taka vare på det.
And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; [and] whoever had dedicated [any thing], [it was] under the hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.
29 Av jisharitarne vart Kenanja og sønerne hans sette til dei verdslege gjeremåli i Israel, til å vera tilsynsmenner og domarar.
Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons [were] for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
30 Av hebronitarne vart Hasabja og brørne hans, syttan hundrad menner, sette til stjorn i Israel, i landet vest for Jordan, til alle slags gjeremål åt Herren og til kongen tenesta.
[And] of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valor, a thousand and seven hundred, [were] officers among them of Israel on this side of Jordan westward in all the business of the LORD, and in the service of the king.
31 Til hebronitarne høyrde Jeria, hovdingen for hebronitarne etter deira ættgreiner og huslydar; i det fyrtiande styringsåret åt Davids vart dei yversedde, og det fanst då dugande folk hjå dei i Jazer i Gilead.
Among the Hebronites [was] Jerijah the chief, [even] among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valor at Jazer of Gilead.
32 Brørne hans, duglege menner, var tvo tusund og sju hundrad hovud for huslydar; deim sette kong David yver rubenitarne, gaditarne og den halve Manasse-ætti, til å greida med alle Guds og kongens målemne.
And his brethren, men of valor, [were] two thousand and seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and affairs of the king.
