Ruts 3
1 Og No'omi, hennes svigermor, sa til henne: Min datter! Jeg vil prøve å la dig få et hjem, så du kan ha det godt.
And she said to her Naomi mother-in-law her O daughter my ¿ not will I seek for you a resting place that it will go well for you.
2 Hør nu: Boas, hvis piker du har vært sammen med, er jo vår frende. Han kaster inatt sitt bygg på treskeplassen.
And therefore ¿ not [is] Boaz relative our whom you were with female servants his there! he [will be] winnowing [the] threshing floor of the barley this night.
3 Nu skal du tvette dig og salve dig og ta dine klær på og gå ned til treskeplassen; men gi dig ikke til kjenne for mannen før han er ferdig med å ete og drikke!
And you will wash - and you will anoint yourself and you will put (garments your *Q(K)*) on yourself (and you will go down *Q(K)*) the threshing floor may not you make yourself known to the man until finishes he to eat and to drink.
4 Når han så legger sig, skal du merke dig stedet hvor han legger sig; gå så der bort og slå op dekket ved hans føtter og legg dig; så vil han selv si dig hvad du skal gjøre.
And let it be when lies down he and you will take note of the place where he will lie down there and you will go and you will uncover feet his (and you will lie down *Q(k)*) and he he will tell to you [that] which (you will do! *L(abh)*)
5 Hun svarte: Jeg skal gjøre alt det du sier.
And she said to her all that (you are saying to me *Q(K)*) I will do.
6 Så gikk hun ned til treskeplassen og gjorde aldeles som hennes svigermor hadde pålagt henne.
And she went down the threshing floor and she did according to all that she had commanded her mother-in-law her.
7 Da Boas hadde ett og drukket og var blitt vel til mote, gikk han og la sig ved kanten av kornhaugen; da kom hun stille og slo op dekket ved hans føtter og la sig der.
And he ate Boaz and he drank and it was good heart his and he went to lie down at [the] end of the heap and she came in secrecy and she uncovered feet his and she lay down.
8 Midt på natten blev mannen opskremt; han bøide sig frem og fikk se at der lå en kvinne ved hans føtter.
And it was in [the] middle of the night and he trembled the man and he twisted and there! a woman [was] lying down feet his.
9 Og han sa: Hvem er du? Hun svarte: Jeg er Rut, din tjenerinne. Bre ditt dekke ut over din tjenerinne; for du er løser.
And he said who? [are] you and she said I [am] Ruth maidservant your and you will spread out skirt your over maidservant your for [are] a kinsman-redeemer you.
10 Da sa han: Velsignet være du av Herren, min datter! Du har nu lagt en større kjærlighet for dagen enn før, ved ikke å gå efter de unge menn, hverken de fattige eller de rike.
And he said [be] blessed you by Yahweh O daughter my you have made good loyalty your latter more than former to not to go after the young men whether poor and or rich.
11 Så vær nu ikke redd, min datter! Alt det du sier, vil jeg gjøre for dig; for alt folket i min by vet at du er en bra kvinne.
And therefore O daughter my may not you fear all that you are saying I will do for you for [is] knowing all [the] gate of people my that [are] a woman of ability you.
12 Det er sant som du sier: Jeg er virkelig løser; men det er en annen løser som er nærmere enn jeg.
And therefore for truly that (*Q(K)*) [am] a kinsman-redeemer I and also there [is] a kinsman-redeemer near more than I.
13 Bli nu her natten over! Vil han da imorgen løse dig, godt, så la ham det! Men har han ikke lyst til å løse dig, så løser jeg dig, så sant Herren lever! Bli liggende til imorgen tidlig!
Stay - this night and it will be in the morning if he will redeem you good let him redeem and if not he will be willing to redeem you and I will redeem you I [by] [the] life of Yahweh lie down until the morning.
14 Så blev hun liggende ved hans føtter til om morgenen; da stod hun op, før folk ennu kunde kjenne hverandre. For han sa: Det må ikke bli kjent at kvinnen er kommet hit til treskeplassen.
And she lay down (feet his *Q(K)*) until the morning and she arose (before *Q(K)*) he recognized anyone neighbor his and he said may not it be known that she came the woman the threshing floor.
15 Så sa han: Kom hit med den kåpe du har på, og hold i den! Og hun holdt i den, og han målte op seks mål bygg og la det på hennes rygg; og hun gikk inn til byen.
And he said give the shawl which [is] on you and take hold on it and she took hold on it and he measured out six barley and he put [it] on her and he came the city.
16 Da hun kom til sin svigermor, spurte hun: Hvorledes er det gått dig, min datter? Og hun fortalte henne alt det mannen hadde gjort mot henne,
And she came to mother-in-law her and she said who? [are] you O daughter my and she told to her all that he had done for her the man.
17 og sa: Disse seks mål bygg gav han mig; for han sa: Du må ikke komme tomhendt hjem til din svigermor.
And she said [the] six the barley these he gave to me for (he said to me *Q(K)*) may not you go empty to mother-in-law your.
18 Men hun sa: Hold dig nu i ro, min datter, til du får vite hvorledes saken faller ut! For den mann hviler ikke før han får saken avgjort, og det ennu idag.
And she said sit down O daughter my until that you will know! how? will it fall out a matter for not he will be at peace the man that except he has finished the matter this day.
