4 Mosebok 34
1 Og Herren talte til Moses og sa:
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
2 Byd Israels barn og si til dem: Når I kommer inn i Kana'ans land, så er dette det land som skal tilfalle eder som arv - Kana'ans land, så langt dets grenser når.
Commande the children of Israel, and say vnto them, When yee come into the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall vnto your inheritance: that is, the land of Canaan with the coastes thereof.
3 På sydsiden skal eders land gå fra ørkenen Sin langsmed Edom, og eders sydgrense skal i øst begynne ved enden av Salthavet.
And your Southquarter shalbe from the wildernesse of Zin to the borders of Edom: so that your Southquarter shall be from the salt Sea coast Eastwarde:
4 Så skal grensen svinge sørom Akrabbim-skaret og gå frem til Sin, og den skal gå ut i syd for Kades-Barnea og så gå videre til Hasar-Adar og derfra ta over til Asmon.
And the border shall compasse you from the South to Maaleh-akrabbim, and reach to Zin, and goe out from the South to Kadesh-barnea: thence it shall stretch to Hazar-addar, and go along to Azmon.
5 Fra Asmon skal grensen svinge bort til Egyptens bekk og så gå ut i havet.
And the border shall compasse from Azmon vnto the riuer of Egypt, and shall goe out to the Sea.
6 I vest skal eders grense være det store hav og landet langsmed det; dette skal være eders grense i vest.
And your Westquarter shall bee the great Sea: euen that border shalbe your Westcoast.
7 Og dette skal være eders grense i nord: Fra det store hav skal I avmerke grenselinjen til fjellet Hor.
And this shall bee your Northquarter: yee shall marke out your border from the great Sea vnto mount Hor.
8 Fra fjellet Hor skal I avmerke grensen dit hvor veien går til Hamat, og grensen skal gå ut ved Sedad.
From mount Hor ye shall point out till it come vnto Hamath, and the end of the coast shall be at Zedad.
9 Så skal grensen gå videre til Sifron og ende ved Hasar-Enan. Dette skal være eders grense i nord.
And the coast shall reach out to Ziphron, and goe out at Hazar-enan. this shalbe your Northquarter.
10 Mot øst skal I avmerke eder en grenselinje som går fra Hasar-Enan til Sefam.
And ye shall marke out your Eastquarter from Hazar-enan to Shepham.
11 Fra Sefam skal grensen gå ned til Ribla østenfor Ajin og derfra gå videre ned til den når fjellskråningen østenfor Kinnerets sjø.
And the coast shall goe downe from Shepham to Riblah, and from the Eastside of Ain: and the same border shall descend and goe out at the side of the sea of Chinneereth Eastward.
12 Så skal grensen gå videre ned til Jordan og ende ved Salthavet. Dette skal være eders land efter dets grenser rundt omkring.
Also that border shall goe downe to Iorden, and leaue at the salt Sea. this shalbe your land with the coastes thereof round about.
13 Og Moses bød Israels barn og sa: Dette er det land I skal få til arv ved loddkasting, og som Herren har befalt å gi de ni stammer og den halve stamme.
Then Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the lande which yee shall inherite by lot, which the Lord commanded to giue vnto nine tribes and halfe the tribe.
14 For Rubens barns stamme med sine familier og Gads barns stamme med sine familier og den halve Manasse stamme har alt fått sin arv;
For the tribe of the children of Reuben, according to the housholdes of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad, according to their fathers housholdes, and halfe the tribe of Manasseh, haue receiued their inheritance.
15 disse to og en halv stamme har fått sin arv på denne side av Jordan midt imot Jeriko - mot øst, mot solens opgang.
Two tribes and an halfe tribe haue receiued their inheritance on this side of Iorden toward Iericho full East.
16 Og Herren talte til Moses og sa:
Againe the Lord spake to Moses, saying,
17 Dette er navnene på de menn som skal skifte ut landet mellem eder: Eleasar, presten, og Josva, Nuns sønn,
These are the names of the men which shall deuide ye land vnto you: Eleazar the Priest, and Ioshua the sonne of Nun.
18 og så en høvding for hver stamme, som I skal ta til å skifte ut landet,
And ye shall take also a prince of euerie tribe to deuide the land.
19 og dette er navnene på disse menn: for Juda stamme Kaleb, Jefunnes sønn,
The names also of the men are these: Of the tribe of Iudah, Caleb ye sonne of Iephunneh.
20 og for Simeons barns stamme Semuel, Ammihuds sønn,
And of the tribe of the sonnes of Simeon, Shemuel the sonne of Ammihud.
21 for Benjamins stamme Elidad, Kislons sønn,
Of the tribe of Beniamin, Elidad the sonne of Chislon.
22 og for Dans barns stamme en høvding, Bukki, Joglis sønn,
Also of the tribe of the sonnes of Dan, the prince Bukki, the sonne of Iogli.
23 for Josefs barn: for Manasses barns stamme en høvding, Hanniel, Efods sønn,
Of the sonnes of Ioseph: of the tribe of the sonnes of Manasseh, the prince Hanniel the sonne of Ephod.
24 og for Efra'ims barns stamme en høvding, Kemuel, Siftans sønn,
And of the tribe of the sonnes of Ephraim, the prince Kemuel, the sonne of Shiphtan.
25 og for Sebulons barns stamme en høvding, Elisafan, Parnaks sønn,
Of the tribe also of the sonnes of Zebulun, the prince Elizaphan, the sonne of Parnach.
26 og for Issakars barns stamme en høvding, Paltiel, Assans sønn,
So of the tribe of the sonnes of Issachar, the prince Paltiel the sonne of Azzan.
27 og for Asers barns stamme en høvding, Akihud, Selomis sønn,
Of the tribe also of the sonnes of Asher, the prince Ahihud, the sonne of Shelomi.
28 og for Naftalis barns stamme en høvding, Pedael, Ammihuds sønn.
And of the tribe of the sonnes of Naphtali, the prince Pedahel, the sonne of Ammihud.
29 Disse menn var det som Herren sa skulde skifte ut arveloddene mellem Israels barn i Kana'ans land.
These are they, whome the Lord commanded to deuide the inheritance vnto the children of Israel, in the land of Canaan.
