1 Da tok Bildad fra Suah til orde og sa:

Forsothe Baldach Suytes answeride, and seide,

2 Hos ham er herskermakt og redsel; han skaper fred i sine høie himler.

5 Selv månen skinner ikke klart, og stjernene er ikke rene i hans øine,

6 hvor meget mindre da mennesket, den makk, menneskebarnet, det kryp som det er.
