Ugubukulo 12
1 Kangi, ulangisu uvaha walolekini kunani kwa Chapanga, mdala mweawalikwi lilanga na mwehi pahi pa magendelu na njingwa ya ndondo kumi na zivili panani ya mutu waki.
And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
2 Mdala yula avi na ndumbu ndi avembayi ndava ya lipyanda la kuveleka mwana.
And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
3 Kangi, ulangisu wungi ukahumila kunani kwa Chapanga, liyoka livaha lidung'u na lelivii na mitu saba mang'elu kumi, kila mutu wavi na njingwa yaki.
And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4 Mkila wa Liyoka lila wautikayi lilundu limonga pagati ya gadatu gegiwanangana na kuzitaga pamulima. Lene layimili palongolo ya mdala yula mweavi papipi kuveleka mwana, lajitendelekili kummila mwana peivelekewa.
And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered, to devour her child as soon as he was born.
5 Kangi, mau yula aveliki mwana mgosi, mweilongosa milima yoha kwa ndonga ya lyuma. Mwana yula anyakuliwi na kupelekwa kwa Chapanga kuchigoda chaki cha unkosi.
And she brought forth a son, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up to God, and to his throne.
6 Mau yula akajumbalila kulugangatu pandu Chapanga peatendelekili muni aleliwi mu magono elufu yimonga miya zivili na sitini.
And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and sixty days.
7 Kangi kwavi na ngondo kunani kwa Chapanga. Mikaeli pamonga na vamitumu vayaki va kunani kwa Chapanga, lene pamonga na mizuka vaki vatovini nayu.
And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 Nambu limoma langahotola, mwene pamonga na vamitumu vaki valekekiswi lepi kutama kunani kwa Chapanga.
And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 Hinu, limoma likatagwa kuvala, limoma lenilo ndi lila la kadeni lelikemelewa Mhakau amala Setani, mweikonga vandu va pamulima woha. Ndi likatagwa pamulima pamonga na mizuka yaki yoha.
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, who deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out upon the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 Kangi nayuwini lwami luvaha kuhuma kunani kwa Chapanga yijova, “Hinu usangula wa Chapanga uhikili na makakala na unkosi wa Chapanga witu na uhotola wa Kilisitu mweahaguliwi kuvya Msangula! Ndava muni yula mweavatakili valongo vitu palongolo ya Chapanga atagiwi pahi. Mwenuyo mweavatakili kilu na muhi.
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accused them before our God day and night.
11 Valongo vitu vamhotwili Setani kwa makakala ga ngasi ya mwanalimbelele na kwa kuvajovela vandu vangi ndava malovi ga kumsadika Yesu. Muni vene vayidakili kuwusa wumi wavi hati kufwa.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives to the death.
12 Hinu mululutayi veve kunani kwa Chapanga na vyoha vyevivii mugati yinu. Nambu mwalachikolela kwa mulima na nyanja, muni Setani avabwelili kuni avi ligoga livaha ndava amanyili kuvya magono gaki gegasigalili gadebe.”
Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down to you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
13 Liyoka palamanyili kuvya litagiwi pamulima, likatumbula kumjumbisa mau yula mweamveliki mwana mgosi.
And when the dragon saw that he was cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who brought forth the son.
14 Nambu mau yula apewili magwaba gavili ga linditi muni ambululuka kutali neju na liyoka, mbaka kulugangatu kwe ilelewa na kuvikiwa bwina mulukumbi lwa miyaka yidatu na yapinga.
And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
15 Hinu, liyoka lila likadeka manji gamahele ngati mfuleni, gakamulanda mdala yula mumbele muni gamuyola.
And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood.
16 Nambu mulima wamtangatili mdala yula, ukayamula ngati mlomo na kugamila manji gala gegahumili mumlomo wa Liyoka.
And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17 Hinu, liyoka lila lamyomili mdala yula, likawuka, likahamba kutovana na chiveleku chingi cha mdala yula, ndi voha veviyidakila mihilu ya Chapanga na kulanda uchakaka ndava ya Yesu.
And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
