< Matei 25 >
1 Kangi lukumbi lwenulo, Unkosi wa kunani kwa Chapanga uwanangana na vakamwali kumi vevagegili hahi zavi, vevahambili kumlindila mkolo ndowa.
THEN shall the kingdom of heaven be like to ten virgins, who taking their lamps, went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 Mhanu pagati yavi vavi vayimu na mhanu vangi vavi na luhala.
But five of them were provident, and five foolish.
3 Vala vayimu vagegii hahi zavi, nambu vagegili lepi mahuta gangi gachibana.
Those who were taking their lamps, took no oil with them:
4 Nambu vevavi na luhala vala vagegili mahuta muchupa na mu hahi zavi.
but the provident took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 Ndava muni mkolo ndowa acheliwi kubwela, ndi vasikana vala vatumbwili kutitila na vakagona.
But as the bridegroom stayed long, they all slumbered and slept.
6 “Pagati ya kilu lwami luvaha lwayuwaniki, ‘Yumuka, mkolo ndowa ibwela mhamba mukampokela!’
Then at midnight the cry came, Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go forth to meet him.
7 Kangi vakamwali vala voha vakayumuka, na kutendelekela hahi zavi.
Then all these virgins arose, and set about trimming their lamps.
8 Vayimu vala vakavajovela vayavi vevavi na luhala, mutitangatila mahuta ginu padebe, ndava muni hahi zitu zijimika.
And the foolish said to the provident, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 Nambu vevavi na luhala vala vakavayangula, lepi, ‘Gikola lepi, nyenye na tete.’ ‘Mbanga mhamba kuliduka mukajigulila mwavene.’
But the provident replied, saying, No; lest there be not a sufficiency for us and you: but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 Hinu, vakamwali vayimu vala, pevahambili kugula mahuta, mkolo ndowa ndi abwelili, vevajitendelekili vala vayingili munyumba ya ndowa pamonga nayu, kangi mlyangu wadindiwi.”
But while they were gone away to buy, the bridegroom came; and they who were prepared went in with him to the marriage-feast: and the door was shut.
11 Mwanakandahi vakawuya vakamwali vangi vala, vakakemela “Mkulu, ‘Mkulu, tidindulila!’
Then came afterwards the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us.
12 Nambu mkulu yula akavayangula, ‘Nikuvajovela chakaka, nakuvamanya nyenye.’”
But he answering said, Verily, I know you not.
13 Kangi Yesu akavajovela, “Mujiyangalila! Ndava mwimanya lepi ligono amala lisaa yeibwela Mwana wa Mundu.”
Watch therefore, for ye know not the day nor the hour in which the Son of man cometh.
14 “Kangi Unkosi wa kunani kwa Chapanga uwanangana ngati mundu mmonga mweaganili kuhamba lugendu lwa kutali, avakemili vatumisi vaki na kuvagotolela vindu vyaki.
For the case is like that of a man, who travelling abroad, called his own servants, and delivered to them his goods.
15 Akavapela kila mundu ngati cheavi na uhotola waki, mmonga mahaku mhanu ga mashonga na yungi mahaku gavili ga mashonga na yungi talanta yimonga ya mashonga akahamba.
And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his several capacity; and immediately went abroad.
16 Yula mweagotoliwi talanta mhanu za mashonga, bahapo akazihengela lihengu na, kuziyonjokesa mahaku gangi mhanu.
He then who had received the five talents, went and traded with them, and acquired five other talents.
17 Mewawa yungi mweagotoliwi mahaku gavili ga mashonga, akayonjokesa mahaku gangi gavili.
In the same manner also he that had the two, gained also himself two others.
18 Nambu mtumisi mweagotoliwi talanta yimonga ya lishonga akahamba kugimila pahi, kuyifiya mashonga ga mkulu waki.”
But he that had received the one talent, went and digged a hole in the ground, and hid the silver of his master.
19 “Pagamaliki magono gamahele, mkulu yula awuyili na kutumbula kuvalanga vindu mashonga gaki pamonga nawu.
Then after a long absence the master of these servants cometh, and maketh a reckoning with them.
20 Yula mtumisi mweagotoliwi mahaku mhanu ga mashonga abwelili kuni agegili mahaku ga mashonga gangi mhanu, ndi akamjovela, ‘Mkulu, wanipeli talanta mashonga mhanu, hinu niyonjokisi talanta zingi mhanu zeniyonjokisi.’
And he who had received the five talents, coming to him, brought five other talents, saying, Sir, thou deliveredst to me five talents: I have gained to them five other talents.
21 Mkulu waki, akamjovela ‘Uhengili chabwina, mtumisi msadikika na mbwina.’ Usadikiwi mu mambu gadebe yati nikugotolela mambu gavaha. Bwelayi uhekayi pamonga na mkulu waku!”
His master said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many: enter into the joy of thy master.
22 “Kangi mtumisi yungi mweagotoliwi mahaku gavili ga mashonga, abwelili, na kujova, ‘Mkulu wanigotolili mahaku gavili ga mashonga, lola aga apa mahaku gangi gavili geayonjokisi.’
Then came also he that had received the two talents: and said, Sir, thou deliveredst to me two talents: lo! I have gained to them two other talents.
23 ‘Mkulu waki akamjovela, chabwina, veve mtumisi msadikika na mbwina!’ ‘Ukitili chabwina mu mambu gadebe, yati nikugotolela mambu gavaha, bwelayi uhekayi pamonga na nene.’”
His master said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many: enter thou into thy master’s joy.
24 “Nambu yula mweagotoliwi talanta yimonga ya lishonga, abwelili akajova, ‘Mkulu nikumanyili veve wa mundu munonopo wibena pewangalima, na kutola pewangadandasa mbeyu.
Then came also he that had received the one talent, and said, Sir, knowing thee, that thou art a severe man, reaping where thou hast not sowed, and gathering from whence thou hast not scattered:
25 Ndi nayogwipi, nagimili pandima na kufiya lishonga laku. Hinu ndi utola yaku.’”
and being afraid, I went and hid thy talent in the ground: see here, thou hast thine own.
26 “‘Mkulu waki akamyangula veve mtumisi mhakau na mkata! Wimanya kuvya nene nibena panangagaba, na kuyola pala panangadandasa?’
Then his master answering said to him, Thou wicked and idle slave, thou knewest that I reap whence I had not sown, and gather where I had not scattered:
27 Ndi yakuganili uvika mashonga gangu kwa vandu vevibadilisha na kuwusa mashonga, ndi nene nganitoli chiyonjokesu na mashonga gangu!
thou oughtest then to have placed my money with the bankers, so when I came I should have received my own with interest.
28 Hinu mumnyaga mashonga genago, na mumpelayi yula mweavi na talanta kumi za mashonga.
Take therefore from him the talent, and give it to him that hath the ten talents.
29 Ndava, mundu yeyoha mweavi na chindu yati ipewa na kuyonjokesewa. Nambu yula angali chindu, hati chidebe cheavili nachu yati inyagiwa.
For to every one that hath shall be given, and he shall abound: but from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
30 Na mtumisi yula angali chiyonjokesu, mtaga kuvala kuchitita kwenuko ndi yati kuvya na luvembu na kuyaga minu.”
And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
31 “Lukumbi Mwana wa Mundu peibwela muukulu waki pamonga na vamitumu vaki va kunani kwa Chapanga, penapo yati itama panani ya chigoda cha unkosi chechivii na ukulu.
But when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory:
32 Vandu va milima yoha yati vikonganeka pamonga palongolo yaki. Mwene ndi akuvapangula vandu ngati mdimaji cheipangula mambelele na mene.
and before him shall all the nations be gathered together; and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats:
33 Mwene yati ivika mambelele ndi vandu vabwina palongolo ya Chapanga muchiwoko chaki cha kulyela na mene ndi vandu vahakau muchiwoko chaki cha kumangeya.”
and he shall place the sheep at his right hand, but the goats at the left.
34 Kangi Nkosi akuvajovela vala vevavi upandi waki wa kulyela, mbwela, nyenye mwemumotisiwi na Dadi wangu! Mupokela unkosi wemuvikiwi kutumbula kuwumbwa kwa mulima.
Then shall the King say to those on his right-hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;
35 Muni penavi na njala mwanipeli chakulya, navi na njota mwanipeli manji, avi myehe mwanipokili panyumba yinu,
for I was hungry, and ye gave me to eat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me to drink: I was a stranger, and ye received me hospitably:
36 navi nangayatila mwaniwaliki, navi mtamu mwabweli kunilola, navi muchifungu mwanigendelili kunilola.
naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye took care of me: I was in prison, and ye came to me.
37 “Penapo vandu vabwina palongolo ya Chapanga yati vakamyangula ‘Bambu, takuwene ndali njala yikuvina petakupeli chakulya, amala uvi na njota tete takupeli manji?
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 Ndali takuwene wa myehe ndi tete takupokili, amala wavi changayatila takuwaliki?
When indeed saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Ndali patakuwene una utamu amala muchifungu tabweli kukulola?’
When indeed saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 Nkosi yati akuvayangula, ‘Nikuvajovela chakaka, chindu chochoha chamumhengili mmonga wa valongo vangu vadebe ava, mwanihengili nene.’”
And the king answering shall say to them, Verily I tell you, for as much as ye have done it to one of these my brethren, the very least of them, ye have done it unto me.
41 “Kangi yati akuvajovela vala va upandi wa kumangeya, ‘Muwuka, palongolo yangu nyenye mwempewili likoto mhamba kumotu wangajimika wa magono goha gangali mwishu weutendelekiwi kwa Setani na vamitumu vaki. (aiōnios )
Then shall he say also to those on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (aiōnios )
42 Ndava njala peyanivili nyenye mwanipeli lepi chakulya, penavi na njota nyenye mwanipeli lepi manji.
for I was hungry, and ye gave me nothing to eat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me nothing to drink:
43 Penavi myehe nyenye mwenipokili lepi, penavi changayatila nyenye mwaniwaliki lepi, penavi mtamu na penavi muchifungu nyenye mwabweli lepi kunilola.’”
I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye did not clothe me: sick, and in prison, and ye took no care of me.
44 “Penapo yati viyangula, ‘Bambu, ndali petakuwene njala yikuvina, amala uvi na njota amala myehe amala changayatila nyula amala mtamu amala muchifungu tete takuhengili lepi?’
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Bambu yati iyangula, ‘Nikuvajovela chakaka, chindu chochoha chamwabeli kumuhengela, mmonga wa vadebe ava, ndi mwabeli kunihengela nene.’
Then shall he reply to them, saying, For as much as ye have not done it to one of the least of these, neither have ye done it to me.
46 Hinu, venava yati vihamba kumbunu wa magono goha, nambu vala vandu vabwina palongolo ya Chapanga yati vihamba kuwumi wa magono goha gangali mwishu.” (aiōnios )
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (aiōnios )
