Matei 22
1 Yesu ajovili nawu kavili kwa miluhumu, akajova.
And Iesus answered and spake vnto them agayne in similitudes sayinge.
2 “Unkosi wa kunani kwa Chapanga uwanangini na nkosi mweamtendelekili mwana waki mselebuko wa ndowa.
The kingdome of heve is lyke vnto a certayne kynge which maryed his sonne
3 Avatumili vatumisi kuvakemela veavagongolili kundowa, nambu vene vabeli kubwela.
and sent forth his servantes to call them that were byd to the weddinge and they wolde not come.
4 Kangi avatumili vatumisi vangi, akajova muvajovela venivagongolili vala, Mselebuko wula nimali kutendelekela, nimali kuhinja ng'ombi yigosi na mpapakasi yeyikulupili, nitendelekili kila chindu, mbwela kundowa!
Ageyne he sent forth other servauntes sayinge: Tell them which are bydden: beholde I have prepared my dynner myne oxen and my fatlinges are kylled and all thinges are redy come vnto the mariage.
5 Nambu vevagongoliwi valitopisi lepi lijambu lila, vakahambanila, mmonga kumgunda waki na yungi kumahengu gaki,
But they made light of it and went their wayes: one to his ferme place another about his marchaundise
6 na vangi vavakamwili vatumisi vala vakavaliga na kuvakoma.
the remnaunt toke his seruantes and intreated them vngodly and slewe them.
7 Nkosi yula akayoma, ndi akavatuma manjolinjoli vaki vahamba kuvakomekesa vakomaji venavo na kuyocha muji wavi
When the kinge hearde that he was wroth and send forth his warryers and distroyed those murtherers and brent vp their cyte.
8 Kangi akavajovela vatumisi vaki, ‘Mselebuko wa ndowa ndi umali kutendekelewa, nambu venivagongolili vala nakuganikiwa kubwela.
Then sayde he to his servauutes: the weddinge was prepared. But they which were bydden were not worthy.
9 Hinu, mhamba hati munjila, voha vemkuvakolela mvakemela vabwela kundowa.’
Go ye therfore out into ye hyewayes and as many as ye finde byd them to the mariage.
10 Vatumisi vala vakawuka na kuhamba munjila, vavakemela vandu voha vevavakolili, vandu vabwina na vahakau, nyumba ya ndowa yikamema vayehe.”
The seruauntes wet out into the hiewayes and gaddered to gedder as many as they coulde fynde both good and bad and ye weddinge was furnysshed with gestes.
11 “Nkosi avawene paayingili kuvalola vayehe, amuwene mundu mmonga mwaangawala nyula za ndowa.
Then the kynge came in to viset the gestes and spyed there a ma which had not on a weddinge garment
12 Nkosi akamkota, ‘Nkozi uyingi wuli penapa changawala nyula za pandowa?’ Nambu mwene agunili.
and sayde vnto him: frende how fortuned it that thou camest in hither and hast not on a weddyng garment? And he was eve spechlesse.
13 Kangi nkosi akavajovela vahengaji, ‘Mumkunga magendelu na mawoko mumtaga kuvala kuchitita, kwenuko yati ivemba na kuyaga minu.’”
Then sayde the kynge to his ministers: take and bynde hym hand and fote and caste hym into vtter darcknes there shalbe wepinge and gnasshinge of teth.
14 Yesu akamalakisila kujova, “Vamahele vagongoliwi, nambu vevahaguliwi vadebe.”
For many are called and feawe be chosen.
15 Kangi Vafalisayu vakawuka, vakajovesana ndava ya kumuyonja Yesu kwa malovi gaki.
Then wet the Pharises and toke counsell how they might tagle him in his wordes.
16 Ndi vavatumili vamulanda vavi pamonga na vamulanda va chikundi cha Helodi. Vamkota, “Muwula,” “Timanyili kuvya veve ndi mundu wa chakaka, wiwula njila ya Chapanga muuchakaka, changayogopa vandu vijova kyani muni ulongosi wa mundu chindu lepi kwa veve.
And they sent vnto him their disciples with Herodes servauntes sayinge: Master we knowe yt thou are true and teachest the waye of god trulie nether carest for eny man for thou consydrest not menes estate.
17 Hinu tijovela, uholalela wuli? Wu, chabwina amala lepi, tete kulipa kodi kwa nkosi wa ku Loma ndi mewa ikemelewa Kaisali?”
Tell vs therfore: how thynkest thou? Is it lawfull to geve tribute vnto Cesar or not?
18 Nambu, Yesu amanyili uhakau wavi, akavajovela, “Nyenye vahomela ndava kyani mukunilinga?
Iesus perceaved their wikednes and sayde: Why tempte ye me ye ypocrites?
19 Mnilangisa lishonga la kulipila kodi!” Vene vakamlangisa lishonga.
Let me se ye tribute money. And they toke hym a peny.
20 Ndi, Yesu akavakota, “Pamihu apa na liina lenili vyeviyandikwi penapa ndi vya yani?”
And he sayde vnto them: whose is this ymage and superscripcion?
21 Vakamyangula “Ya nkosi wa ku Loma.” Penapo Yesu akavajovela, “Hinu mumpela nkosi wa ku Loma vyaki nkosi wa ku Loma na mumpela Chapanga vyaki Chapanga.”
They sayde vnto him: Cesars. Then sayde he vnto them. Geve therfore to Cesar that which is Cesars: and geve vnto god that which is goddes.
22 Pevayuwini genago vakakangasa, vakamleka vakawuka.
When they hearde that they marveled and lefte hym and went there waye.
23 Ligono lenilo pagati ya Vasadukayu vangi vevijova vandu vevafwili viyuka lepi, vamhambalili Yesu na kumkota,
The same daye the Saduces came to him (which saye that there is no resurrcecion) and axed him
24 vakamjovela “Muwula, Musa atijovili mundu mweagegili afwili changaleka vana, yikumgana mlongo waki amhala lipwela mwenuyo, muni ambabakisila vana mlongo waki
sayinge: Master Moses bade yf a man dye havinge no chyldre that the brother mary his wyfe and reyse vp seed vnto his brother.
25 Hinu pitu apa pavili na valongo saba. Mwaatumbwili kugega afwili changaleka vana, na mlongo waki amgegili lipwela mwenuyo.
Ther were wt vs seven brethre and the fyrste maried and deceased wt oute yssue and lefte his wyfe vnto his brother.
26 Hinu yavi mewawa kwa valongo vangi wa pili na wa datu, mbaka voha saba.
Lykewise the seconde and ye thryd vnto the sevethe.
27 Pavamali kufwa valongo venavo voha, ndi na mdala yula afwili.
Laste of all the woman dyed also.
28 Wu, pa ligono la kuyuka yati ivya mdala wa yani pagati ya valongo vala? Muni voha saba vagegini nayu.”
Now in the resurreccion whose wyfe shall she be of the seven? For all had her.
29 Yesu akavayangula “Nyenye mubudili ndava muni nakumanya Mayandiku Gamsopi wala makakala ga Chapanga.
Iesus answered and sayde vnto the: ye are deceaved and vnderstonde not the scriptures nor yet the power of God.
30 Muni vevafwili paviyuka yati vigega lepi wala kugegewa, ndi vivya ngati vamitumu va kunani kwa Chapanga.
For in the resurreccion they nether mary nor are maryed: but are as the angels of God in heven.
31 Nambu ndava ya kuyuka kwa vevafwili, wu, mwangasoma geavajovili Chapanga? Avajovili,
As touchynge the resurreccion of the deed: have ye not redde what is sayde vnto you of God which sayeth:
32 ‘Nene ndi Chapanga wa Ibulahimu, Chapanga wa Izaki na Chapanga wa Yakobo.’ Hinu mwene ndi lepi Chapanga wa vevafwili, nambu ndi Chapanga wa vakona wumi.”
I am Abrahams God and Ysaacks God and the God of Iacob? God is not the God of the deed: but of the lyvinge.
33 Msambi wa vandu wula pevayuwini malovi ago, ukakangasa ndava ya mawuliwu gaki.
And when the people hearde that they were astonyed at his doctrine.
34 Vafalisayu pevayuwini kuvya Yesu avagunisi Vasadukayu, vakakonganeka pamonga.
When the Pharises had hearde how yt he had put the Saduces to silence they drewe to gedder
35 Mmonga pagati yavi, mweavimmanya malagizu bwina, amkotili Yesu cha kumlinga,
and one of them which was a doctoure of lawe axed a question teptinge h m and sayinge:
36 “Muwula ndi muhilu woki ukulu mu malagizu?”
Master which is ye chefe comaundment in the lawe?
37 Yesu akayangula, “‘Mgana Bambu Chapanga waku, mumtima waku woha, mumpungu waku woha na muluhala lwaku lwoha.’
Iesus sayde vnto him: love the Lorde thy God wt all thine herte with all thy soule and with all thy mynde.
38 Yeniyi ndi muhilu ukulu ndi wa kutumbukana.
This is the fyrst and the chefe comaundement.
39 Na ya pili yeyiwanangana na yeniyi, ‘Ndi mgana muyaku ngati chaukujigana wamwene.’
And ther is another lyke vnto this. Love thyne neghbour as thy selfe.
40 Malagizu goha ga Musa na mawuliwu ga vamlota va Chapanga gihuvalila mihilu yeniyo yivili.”
In these two commaundemetes hange all the lawe and the Prophetes.
41 Vafalisayu pavakonganiki pamonga, Yesu avakotili,
Whyll the Pharises were gaddered togeder Iesus axed
42 “Nyenye mwihololela wuli ndava ya Kilisitu? Mwana wa yani?” Vakamyangula “Mwene ndi mwana wa Daudi.”
the sayinge: what thinke ye of Christ? Whose sonne is he? They sayde vnto him: the sonne of David.
43 Yesu, akavajovela, “Ndava kyani,” Kwa makakala ga Mpungu Msopi? Daudi akumkemela mwene Bambu? Muni ajovili,
He sayde vnto the: how then doeth David in spirite call him Lorde sayinge?
44 Bambu amjovili Bambu wangu, tama muchiwoko changu cha kulyelela, mbaka nivavika vamakoko vaku kuvya pahi ya magendelu gaku.
The Lorde sayde to my Lorde syt on my right honde: tyll I make thyne enemyes thy fote stole.
45 Hinu, ngati Daudi akumkemela, Kilisitu Bambu, yihotoleka wuli kuvya mwana waki?
Yf David call him Lorde: how is he then his sonne?
46 Avi lepi mundu mweahotwili kumyangula lilovi. Kutumbula ligono lenilo kawaka mundu mwalingili kumkota kangi.
And none coulde answere him ageyne one worde: nether dueste eny from that daye forth axe him eny moo questions.
