Vaefeso 1
1 Nene Pauli, mtumi wa Kilisitu Yesu kwa maganu ga Chapanga. Nikuvayandikila nyenye vandu va Chapanga va ku Efeso, mwemwisadika kuwungana na Kilisitu.
Paul, an Apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God: To God's people who are in Ephesus--believers in Christ Jesus.
2 Tikuvaganila uteke na ubwina kuhuma kwa Chapanga Dadi witu na Bambu witu Yesu Kilisitu.
May grace and peace be granted to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Chapanga alumbiwa na Dadi wa Bambu witu Yesu Kilisitu! Muni, mweatipelili mota ndalindali za chimpungu kuhuma kunani kwa Chapanga mu njila ya Mpungu Msopi.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has crowned us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ;
4 Hati kwakona kuwumbwa mulima, Chapanga atihagwili tete tivya vandu vaki mukuwungana na Kilisitu muni tivya vamsopi na changali kubuda. Ndava ya uganu waki.
even as, in His love, He chose us as His own in Christ before the creation of the world, that we might be holy and without blemish in His presence.
5 Chapanga amali kutihagula muni tivya tavana vaki mu njila ya Yesu Kilisitu, ndi cheganili na kugana kwaki mwene.
For He pre-destined us to be adopted by Himself as sons through Jesus Christ--such being His gracious will and pleasure--
6 Hinu, timulumba Chapanga ndava ya ubwina waki ukulu, ndava atipeli Mwana waki mweamuganili!
to the praise of the splendour of His grace with which He has enriched us in the beloved One.
7 Mukuwungana na Kilisitu ndi tigombolewi kwa ngasi yaki na tilekekiswi kumbudila Chapanga. Ndi chauvi ukulu wa ubwina wa Chapanga,
It is in Him, and through the shedding of His blood, that we have our deliverance--the forgiveness of our offences--so abundant was God's grace,
8 weatipeli tete kwa chipimu chivaha neju muluhala lwaki lwoha na umanya.
the grace which He, the possessor of all wisdom and understanding, lavished upon us,
9 Chapanga ahengili chila cheaganili kukita. Na atigubukulili mpangu waki wa mfiyu, weamwili kuutimilisa mu njila ya Mwana waki Yesu Kilisitu.
when He made known to us the secret of His will. And this is in harmony with God's merciful purpose
10 Mpangu wenuwo ndi ngaatimalisi mulukumbi chakaka ndi viumbi vyoha kuvileta pamonga, kila chindu chechivii kunani kwa Chapanga na pamulima, muulongosi wa Kilisitu.
for the government of the world when the times are ripe for it--the purpose which He has cherished in His own mind of restoring the whole creation to find its one Head in Christ; yes, things in Heaven and things on earth, to find their one Head in Him.
11 Chapanga ahengili kila chindu kulandana na maganu gaki. Mwene atihagwili mu njila ya kuwungana na Kilisitu. Muni tivya vandu vaki, lijambu leahamwili kutumbula kulikita.
In Him we Jews have been made heirs, having been chosen beforehand in accordance with the intention of Him whose might carries out in everything the design of His own will,
12 Hinu, ndi tete vetilongolili kumsadika Kilisitu yikutigana kuulumba ukulu wa Chapanga!
so that we should be devoted to the extolling of His glorious attributes--we who were the first to fix our hopes on Christ.
13 Mewa na nyenye mwemuyuwini ujumbi wa chakaka ndi Lilovi la Bwina lelileta usangula winu. Mwamsadiki Kilisitu, na Chapanga avikili, ulangisu weulangisa kuvya nyenye ndi vaki, kwa kuvapela Mpungu Msopi mweavalagazili.
And in Him you Gentiles also, after listening to the Message of the truth, the Good News of your salvation--having believed in Him--were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit;
14 Mpungu msopi mwenuyo ndi ulangisu wa kulangisa kuvya chakaka yati tipokela. Lijambu lenilo likutilangisa kuvya yati akutigombola tavoha vetivii vaki. Tiulumba ukulu waki.
that Spirit being a pledge and foretaste of our inheritance, in anticipation of its full redemption--the inheritance which He has purchased to be specially His for the extolling of His glory.
15 Ndava yeniyo, kutumbula panakayuwini ndava ya sadika yinu kwa Bambu Yesu, na uganu winu kwa vandu va Chapanga,
For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which prevails among you, and of your love for all God's people,
16 katu nilekili lepi kumsengusa Chapanga ndava yinu. Nikuvaluwula penikumuyupa Chapanga.
offer never ceasing thanks on your behalf while I make mention of you in my prayers.
17 Niyendelela kumuyupa Chapanga muni Chapanga wa Bambu witu Yesu Kilisitu, Dadi wa ukulu, avapela Mpungu waki wa luhala na kuvagubukulila muuhotala kuumanya.
For I always beseech the God of our Lord Jesus Christ--the Father most glorious--to give you a spirit of wisdom and penetration through an intimate knowledge of Him,
18 Nikumuyupa Chapanga ayigubukula mitima yinu yihotola kulola lumuli lwaki, muni muhotola kumanya huvalila yila yeavakemelili na ukulu uvaha na njombi zeavavikili vandu vaki.
the eyes of your understanding being enlightened so that you may know what is the hope which His call to you inspires, what the wealth of the glory of His inheritance in God's people,
19 Na kumanya namuna makakala chegihenga lihengu mugati yitu tete vetisadiki chegavili gavaha. Uhotola wenuo uhenga lihengu mugati yitu, ndi makakala gavaha neju,
and what the transcendent greatness of His power in us believers as seen in the working of His infinite might
20 geamyukisi nagu Kilisitu kuhuma kwavevafwili, akamtamika muchiwoko chaki cha kulyelela kunani kwa Chapanga.
when He displayed it in Christ by raising Him from the dead and seating Him at His own right hand in the heavenly realms,
21 Hinu, kwenuko, Kilisitu ndi chilongosi mkulu wa vachilongosi voha va kunani kwa Chapanga, na uhotola woha na makakala na vankosi voha na vachilongosi. Kila liina leliluwuliwa pamulima uwu, nambu mewa pamulima weubwela. (aiōn g165)
high above all other government and authority and power and dominion, and every title of sovereignty used either in this Age or in the Age to come. (aiōn g165)
22 Chapanga amupeli Kilisitu kulongosa vindu vyoha na akamvika kuvya mutu wa msambi wa vandu vevakumsadika Kilisitu muni avya mkulu wa vindu vyoha.
God has put all things under His feet, and has appointed Him universal and supreme Head of the Church, which is His Body,
23 Vandu vevakumsadika Kilisitu ndi higa ya Kilisitu, na utimilifu waki ndi mwene mweitimilisa vindu vyoha kila pandu.
the completeness of Him who everywhere fills the universe with Himself.
